okay, gonna pop this out before my computer decides to betray me once again.

Man things are just crazy with Katara. A lesser person would have either broken or just offed themselves already but she is playing the long game and despite the hell her life ha become she is still hanging on by a thread. Kudos to her. I loved her reaction to the fact that in the fire nation, rape was fine but masturbation is a crime..............that is some warped shit lol. It is truly heartbreaking that Katara is wishing for the more cruel Zuko since it is the kind one that she has the risk of caring for.

    And now.....the prompt.

    well...several Azutara prompts that is.

I've been on a yuri kick for the past while and have noticed the lack of azula/katara femslash on this site and was hping you could be the one to rectify that injustice. So here goes:

    Prompt#1: Pairing-Katara/azula

    .dark at some points

.Azula starts out her fairly cruel but could slowly morph into having a moral center due to Katara subtly influencing her.

    .dubious consent,non-con and consensual.

.The south is completely separate from the northern tribe and thus Katara is considered a princess due to being the chieftains daughter.

It is Azula and not Zuko who is near the Southern water tribe when Katara and Sokka are out fishing and notices Katara water bending and chooses to take her captive. Due to this Aang is not found in the iceberg and Katara and sokka are prisoners on princess Azula's ship. Azula decides to use Katara as a hostage to subjugate the southern tribe and force Hokada into not interfere with the war effort. For the safety of her people and brother Katara agrees to Azula's demands and quite honestly I am terrible at writing prompts so I will leave the rest of where things could go from here to you lol.

    Prompt#2: .Same pairing as above

    .consensual for the most part

characterization: Katara is her strong willed and kind self while Azula is VERY morally ambiguous, manipulative and can be quite amorous at times and loves to get Katara riled up.

    .A.U setting

    outline:

.In this verse the war remained in a cold war state after avatar Roku threatened sozin and thus there was no air nomad extermination or water tribe decimation/raids.

.Ozai can still be a bastard but is not evil as his canon counterpart. Same with Azula is can be cruel but has limits.

.Since there was no seige of ba sing se Lu ten is still alive and Iroh has assumed the throne after his father passed from illness(or murder, w/e works for you).

.Zuko was never banished and to wed Mai one day.

.Same sex relationships/marriages are viewed as being equal too any other relationship and no one bats an eye at two people of the same sex being together(I got NO taste for homophobic drama). Kind of like the verse from the teen wolf show where absolutely NO ONE is bothered by homosexuality.

.In an attempt to foster goodwill with some of the more distrustful nations, Iroh proposes certain unions. The first of which is to be made between the fire nation and the water tribes. Prince Lu ten is proposed to wed Yue of the north While Azula is promised to Katara of the south.

I honestly had a few more outlines for this one but every time I get to typing them down I read them over and over again and am not satisfied so I will once again leave the rest of to you lol.

    Prompt#3-

Pairings: Azula/katara/mai/Ty lee( Oh yeah, i'm going there)

    timeline: during show.

characterization: Azula like she is in this fic but with a massive possessive streak to what she views as "hers", Ty lee being slightly darker than canon and while willing to do some bad things treats katara as gently as she is able while mai is initially just along for the ride and for fun but begins to have some issues with what her and her friends do to katara.

    outline:

    -erotic but with plot

    -concubine katara fic

-after there fight in omahu the 3 girls take a vivid interest in Katara and set out to make her theirs.

-During the chase, after Aang leaves to try and lead them away Azula decides to instead go with mai and ty lee and encounter katara and her brother whom they defeat. In a bid to save her brothers life katara surrenders to them.

-Katara is very defiant but find herself or at least her body enjoying some of the things the girls put her through.

-shades of manipulation in katara as she tries to play the girls against each other by making them individually want her.

okay that's about it. It sounds a lot better in my head but looks like shit when I type it so sorry if I did not write a some good prompts. honestly It would not even have to be any of these prompts so long as you were going to someday write an Azutara. I love the characterizations you give your characters.

-waits patiently for the next chapter

I just have to say this - of all Zutara fanfictions I've read, I have never been so emotionally and spiritually frustrated, satisfied, and inspired, all at the same time, by any other story than yours right here. Your story has challenged my beliefs on so many different aspects, opened my mind, and helped me to better understand the differences between what I want to happen and what should happen. I came across your story just 3 days ago as I was perusing the site for some delectable Zutara fanfictions. I wasn't sure what to expect but took a chance and delved into your story. I was terrified by the plot line, shocked at characters' vicious behaviors and cruel attitudes, and anxious about the depressing hole that I was spiraling into -- the sheer fear of expecting a nervous meltdown for what was to come in future chapters...BUT because of the way the story forced me to think and just based on the fact that everything you've done with these characters and the story made so much sense (that I forgot that none of this was canon), I have been terribly addicted to your story.

It has gotten to the point where I can't even think to watch A:TLA anymore because none of this is what actually happened. This is the world I'd rather be a part of, no matter how wicked it is - evil cannot exist without good anyway.

Even when I was nowhere near my laptop or ipad, I was aching to know what was going on in this universe despite that none of it was real. I so much wanted to be a Yue or La and just look over this world and see what was happening. Will katara confess an undying love for zuko? Will zuko finally die by katara's hand and whisper "don't cry" as he watched her sob as his spirit was finally plucked from his being into the spirit world? Will Aang ever defeat the fire lord? Will appa ever be free to roam the skies? I can never stop asking these questions until you update. I have been staying Up late the past few nights, reading your story, rereading my least favorite parts (only because they made my heart ache and I'm a sucker for compassion and happy endings), and rereading my favorite parts (redemption from the parts that scarred me). Just 20 minutes ago I came to re read my favorite parts once again and found that you updated. You can't even begin to imagine the elation in my soul, the pulse rising in my heart, when I learned this. Was it fate that I came to find this update on my birthday, June 6th? It's as if you knew. I've been thanking every deity, including the ones in the avatar universe, that you Had done this.

I am not a registered user on this site and have never commented on another zutara story (not that I haven't enjoyed various others, ones that I also reread from time to time). But you needed to know that your story has affected me in such a way that I had to say something.

Thank you for this wonderful story. Thank you for sharing your talent. As much as I hate for this story to ever end, I hope you will continue this artwork, this masterpiece, that you have begun. Your writing has yet to bore me. Though some of my least favorite parts tore me up so much I wanted to turn away from the screen, that feeling of dissatisfaction and discomfort is what keeps me reading. If a piece of writing can evoke a true sensation out of you, whether it be rage or happiness, or force you to question your beliefs, it is genuine craftsmanship.

My favorite parts include tender moments when katara shows Zuko compassion even when she and I both know he shouldn't deserve it - like after she finds out he is the one who kidnapped her and had been wearing a mask to shield what he believed was a worthless monster who was lucky to be alive. I cried during that part. I love the abused and tortured child-like innocence that you brought out of zuko. I also loved their imaginary world where katara insisted on a happy ending. I'm such a softy for Zutara. I so badly want them to end up together but Gods know how impossible that seems. The duality throughout this entire story makes me nervous and makes me question what is right, wrong, and acceptable and not acceptable in morals, values, and life. THANK. YOU.

I look forward to your future writings. I may not comment later on, but know I am obediently yet impatiently waiting for your updates. (I pray my long ass comment doesn't freak you out.)

Each and every person a Fire Nation soldier chose to rape was selected right under the blissfully ignorant nose of the Avatar. He was told that they were so close to the kitchen so they could be taken to go eat, bathe and change clothes. All of the refugees looked back at him screaming and begging for him to do something whenever one of them was taken but he'd been given a logical explanation -jealousy and impatience. Those left behind could not wait for their turn so they cried out for attention. Zuko's creation of the Ursa House helped to perpetrate the fraud by ensuring no victim was returned to the Pussy Garden with visible injuries. The hospitality station had been built right behind the hotel and next to the barracks so the smiling and waving Avatar who had done nothing to help would be the first sight that greeted each victim after every rape.

Safe his soundproof cage Aang would smile and wave wishing someone would take him outside as countless women and children were repeatedly abused.

    ow

    owowow

    OWWWWWWWWWWWW

    why would you....

    OH MY FUCKIN GOD OWWWWWWWWWWW

    how...why!?!?!?

    OWWWWWWW

1 of 2 things are gonna happen when/if aang gets free and discovers the truth:

-he will be absolutely broken and hated unless the people releazie that he had no idea what was being done to them.

-He goes full on balls to the wall APE-SHIT and wrecks the fire nation soldiers.

    Because HOLY FUCK OWWWWWWWWWWW.

After your next update I have a prompt for a future fic, if your up to it that is. Just something that's been swimming around in my mind after reading a particularly good azutara...winkwink.

    248.

Poor girl, dealing with Zuko when he is normal is an exercise in the limits to ones sanity, having to placate him when his libido is skyrocketing and he is high as a kite is another issue all together. She handled herself well though and I like how she is so honest about her desire to murder the piss out of him but her disposition as a gentle souled girl stops her from taking action......that and the resulting chaos that would befall the town would just add another dark spot to her conscience if she chose to act.

Wonder how zuko is going to feel when he comes down from his current state and finds out how he acted.

So very very VERY sorry about not posting a review like I said I would. I don't know whats wrong with me, I know what I want to type but every time I sit down to get it done I either lose track of whatever point I am trying to make or I forget key things that I want to address.

This will be a short one since I am trying to get my review muse back up and running.

-Loved seeing Katara take Zuko to task for being an asshat and calling out the fact that their is somthing just ......"wrong" about his people. They are inherently cruel even to their own and don't seem to understand how the rest of the world views them. But yeah I love how you had Katara go fierce on Zuko.

-At least they will follow their code about the Ursa houses and punish anyone who tries anything with the women and children there. Bit of a guilty pleasure, but I enjoyed seeing the soldier castrated and beaten to death by the very woman he tried to rape.

-Since it needs being said twice......the fire nation is seriously warped lol. They have what is quite possibly the biggest case of moral dissonance/moral myopia I have ever read about.............. and I have read the entirety of the "Embers" fanfic. jk jk.

    -IT.SUCKS. to be Katara.

-No seriously, the girl has made some poor choices, sure, but holy god, her name is less than dirt by the common people, she is forced to be an abused concubine, is unable to help the civilians who are being tormented, her own brother does not trust her and now has to deal with getting comfort from the enemy. That girl needs a hug.

-Sweet seeing Ty lee being protective of katara, she is one of the few people of that nation who is genuenly kind, understands how fucked up the war is and would rather be at the circus.

    excellent story, keep it up.

It's the topic, the lynching was quite vivid and I have unfortunately good imagination. It's really painfull to read, that Katara has no friend at all. Her brother still didn't learn anything and all the others are blaming her or looking down on her. She even lost her last hope to kill Zuko afterwards, after she saw the lynching.

I really can't see any happiness in her life any more, condemned or belittled by everyone, which makes me really sad.
I wonder when will Ozai make an appearance to punish Zuko due the House of Ursa established in an occupied town.

The Ursa House incident was very in line with your description of the Fire Nation, but really hard to read for me. You described Zuko's paranoia very well. Will he remember his hurtful words to Katara? Toshio surprised me being almost decent to Katara, but Mu is still an ass regardless Amayus lecture. I'm curious what happens to Katara, since she seems to run.

Wow, I didn't expect Mu being such an ass. Amayu seems to understand Katara predicament uncanny well. As for Katara, she seems not to catch any break. She must drown in self-hatred and misery now. Hope nothing bad happens to her since she is alone outside the hotel.

It seems this begun a lil' wrecked for some, me included, but it's good to know the every body it's getting back to their feet; so keep on going girls and guys. Sorry I haven be able to review as often as I would like, but you know life it's like that. jaded_priceles you are ripping me apart with eagerness, I know u have to thick the plot, but seriously u are killing me, not only Ozai is about to go all berserk on zuko's butt, Zuko it's no even on full health to take that on, the water tribe it's getting closer, but some of it's men are capture, The Earth Kingdom army it's close by... Gashhh. Toph and Iroh are up in the Fire Nation only you and the Spirits know doing what.People are rethinking their alliances, I dunno what else it's your Machiavellic mind it's planning, but I can bet My manga collection that gonna be awesome. Zuko and Katara's relationship it's taking a pretty twisted shape, which I love, but have no idea how are you going to turn into love. It's kinda sad that Azula, recently realized, That she loves her big bro, but the way Ozai raise make him a obstacle on her ambitions, I also would like to see more of the tender side of Azula, cus even though I love her bad shit crazy she it's still human and all that craziness it ain't just genetic, it comes for her fears and weakness as well. Mi time it's short i'm pretty sure you are a busy person too, so I'm gonna cut it her and let the rest of my blah blah for other time. keep up with the good work. :D

Flew back into town just this morning/afternoon and have finally caught up on the chapters.

Oh and please don't ask why I had to fly back in.......when I took my car to head out of town..........I never realized how easily metal could fold in on itself like that......damn thing wasn't even payed off. And the part that really pisses me off?.......it was a fucking Prius that did me in.

Hope things are going well in your life and take all of the time you need to get things squared away in your personal life. I know the feeling when life decides to just up and take a lengthy piss in your eye and it's best to just take a little "you time" and get away from everything and clear your head.

    Short review time:

Angst.....so much angst, and that poor poor little girl and her mother who could do nothing to prevent what was going to happen, and ya just know that their are many other child victims. The fire folk trying to justify it as the guy having some major trauma and that she wont remember it when she is older......unless ya know the fire nation continues it's way and she get's raped again. The lady who was defending him needs to understand that when a guy like that is even a threat to his OWN children, well, that's the sign that he is a mad dog who needs to be put down.

I am still on the fence when it comes to Amayu, she is one of the more sympathetic and kind fire nation individuals but even she has her moments of moral ambiguity as shown in the latest chapter and I hope Katara knows what she is doing since if she allows Amayu to do her study it will give the fire nation one more edge in the war since it is a given that this "potential to save many lives" treatment will be primarily used for the fire nation soldiers and allow them to counteract earth bending tactics. It will just be one more thing on her already heavy conscience. Keeping Zuko alive is one thing since her fate is currently tied with his, but handing the fire nation more ammo is another.

The Wrish-Wrish was tragic and so telling with it's parallels to Zuko and Katara "relationship". There is virtually no way it can end on a happy note since so much has occurred between them mostly due to Zuko and the kicker is that those deeds have kept Katara alive while increasing her hate for him. This is a literal love/hate relationship, they both know it and it kills them. In any other world they could fit and be happy, but not in this one.

-waits patiently for the next chapter-

Sorry, but incest is NOT unnatural in the slightest. In fact, it is one of the most natural things in the world alongside homosexuality and pedosexuality. The only reason people want to believe that it is 'wrong' is because a few of them look at it and go "I's don't likes dat, it shouldz be illegalz!"

You have no right to interfere in another person's life and choices when they are not harming another person physically or forcing someone into something that they do or do not wish to do.
