I was reading some older chapters of your story and was wondering about so many beliefs Katara's gran has taught her. In my opinion, if you don't want to have sex or risk the temptation then you shouldn't walrus and iceberg. I've been looking for the chapter where Mu drugged Katara. Update soon.

This is definitely one of the best zutara fanfic I've ever read but I must say the delay in updates is starting make me lose interest...I really would like to see how zuko and katara's relationship progressed from 290 on *crosses fingers for future update*

One more thing I forgot to add in the last review. Give us more sex!!! This is after all adultfanfiction.net, and I feel like that is getting left out to make room for the plot. I am not saying put smut in every single chapter, but do give us some good smut every 4 chapters or so. Just a suggestion, this is still one of my favorite Zutara stories I have ever found on both adultfanfiction.net, and fanfiction.net

Hello I am back!!! This will be a review for chapters 284-290, because I have not had time to review in quit some time. This is still an excellent read, and I always like opening up the story and seeing a new chapter for me to read. I do feel like this story is starting to drag though, so I hope it is getting close to a conclusion. Past that I have nothing else to say. Keep up the good work, and I cant wait for another update!!!!

Nice, quiet a few updates lol. On one hand I am happy that they are leaving the town, but on the other I, like Katara am worried about the people left behind. Especially the poor women and children who were captured from the smugglers and unlike the townsfolk have even less protection and are going to be used as common whores.

-Even when the fire nation does something positive it has negative aspects to it. Because by their warped standards it is the better route. I find myself getting angrier more at the people who commit or allow atrocities to occur and then have the nerve to get on their soap box and talk of long term plans and how the people they have tormented will now be brought into the fold. Like no matter how they try to spin it and talk of honor and good intentions, it's still conquering, enslaving and rape and the only way to have a slightly better life iy you are the conquered in question? Essentially sell out to the very people who ruined your life.

-So even though Katara and co. are leaving the town, will the Earth kingdom general still try to liberate it? And it isn't it risky for the fire nation to teach the townspeople how to fight when A LOT of the townspeople and the prisoners brought from all over are only choosing the option that causes them less pain in the long run and still have quite a bit of hate for their abusers? Like Bong Cha and Katara say that the new town will have to protect itself from earth and fire attacks......but wouldn't the earth kingdom citizens be more than happy to give aid to the general if/when he decided to oust the fire nation occupiers? Teaching them combat would just give the earth General an edge since they would have to worry about attacks from both outside the town AND inside.

-Zuko, believing in Mung is perhaps not something you want to do.

“It will be okay, Katara. This town and its people will be okay,” Ya see their champ, here's the thing, your standards for 'okay' are vastly different from the world outside your nation.

This story invokes so many emotions in me. Soul crushing sadness, righteous fury than burns with the might of 1000 suns and the occasional spark of happiness at someitng not ending on a complete downer note lol.

Katara learns the hard way that you can't save everyone and you need often to make decisions that are against your principles. She is assimilating to the ways of Fire Nation and it's breaking/destroying her. I really hope you are not going to end this 'new colony' in massacre, your story is bloody and shows enough war horrors. A part of me hates the story, because it's so depressing and sad, but I can't stop to read and see forward to each update.

    chapter 288:

-Katara is reaching her limit and Zuko's(https://31.media.tumblr.com/663f7620d8261fdd4c13b501f0f3ea29/tumblr_inline_ncmowy9DmD1qfx2bu.jpg) what he perceives as, good intentions, she is past the point of being comforted by his words or actions. You can only see so much pain and evil before you let the cold seep into your body.

A part(all) of me can't help but wonder if that story was foreshadowing. I mean Zuko throws a mention of penis's around so much and he has had a bad tendency to think with his 'Phoenix' so maybe a little.....snip snip is in order?-https://33.media.tumblr.com/c54bac3bdb485cfaccb1a82615877f99/tumblr_ne2t9fEJEd1ramnmyo1_500.gif

I am half in half about wanting them to leave the town or stay. I mean if they leave without the earth General liberating it, then those people left are just going to have to deal like the rest of the colonies, only without Zuko's slight influence keeping things from being a TOTAL hell on earth.

    chapter 297:

"but this is the first peaceful one I’ve seen born"

    Oh Zuko-http://33.media.tumblr.com/7fe3268000a628204bce0ae4be2851c4/tumblr_mffwnyi1891qefuc2o1_400.gif

Well if daddy is paying a visit then everyone is beyond fucked, Hope everybody wore some clean underwear. All of those gifts Zuko promised are not going to mean much if everything is burnt to the ground. Although that might be a mercy for some. But it would also make the sacrifices Katara has made pointless.

"Women and young men are one thing but children are another.” Because even rapists gotta have standards ya know?

Sarcasm aside, still hate Mung and wish for his demise but at least now if/when/hopefully he does bite the dust, he will have done one 'somewhat' good thing before dying.

As depressing as this story gets at times for me the saddest and perhaps most scary parts are when it shows that the victims are starting to rationalize what their abuser's are doing even after the abuser in question gives a laundry list of their atrocities.Yes Mung protected the child, but she and many many many more would not be in this hellish situation if it weren't for him and his nation.

It seems like more often than nought a lot of what Katara says too Zuko goes in one ear and out the other.

Sorry real life is getting ya down. Don't feel obligated to update if you have things you want/need/have to do in real life. As much as people love this story, your personal life is vastly more important.

Trust Zuko to try an argue about the 'bright side' of things. Just because things are not as bad as they could be, does not mean they are by any stretch 'good'. I like it whenever Katara get's on his ass about him and his people, its that much needed bucket of ice water for whenever he chooses to see thins through rose tinted glasses. Sucks that fong's tactics are putting the townspeople in a difficult position and forcing them to aid their oppressors. I feel sorry for the mothers and fathers who have to watch their children grow close to the soldiers who are hurting them.

At this point zuko had best pray that the fire nation wins it all because if they lose the war, on top of his country having to deal with the epic proportions of bad karma he will also have one of the largest bulls eyes on his back since the fall of ba sing se will specifically mention him.

I take it we are winding down on their stay in the town?

    love these updates.

Yay!! A new chapter! What a fantastic chapter! Katara really needed to get those feelings off her chest and I am so happy that it allowed her closure and a new friend. I can't wait until the next chapter. I want Uncle Iroh to meet up with Zuko soo badly. I hope that Katara gets a vision of her mother stating how proud and happy she is of her daughter. I would LOVE Sokka to finally come clean about his self. He judges Katara and yet he is in the same position as she. At least Katara is with one man unlike how it use to be for him. He forgets that he is being used for sex just like how she is. The siblings have more in common then what Katara knows. I can't wait until she finds out. (Okay I admit I am a little wishy washy. Sometimes I want Katara to know and sometimes I don't). I can't wait until the next chapter! Great Job again! I love this story.
