I'm bit confused. Zuko still wants to marry Mai, but made vows to Katara? Or was it informal vow to appease Katara? Did she understand the words or did Zuko used again the ancient language?

Thank you for uploading so many chapters at once. I hope you'll keep that up.

They docked! They finally docked! As much as I love this story, it was getting really, really repetitive...especially Zuko and Katara's interactions. I hope the upcoming chapters will be different.

Can't wait to read more and good luck w/ everything!

    W/ Love,

    Mimi

I understand that the Avatar was shown to the prisoners to break their spirits I suppose but why Sokka got a beating every time a prison ship docked to Ursa?

So we are at square one again? Him loosing loosing control, again and her hating his guts. It's bit frustrating.

I am really liking this story so far, and I'm happy to see the progress our favorite couple is making in their relationship! :)

So Zuko want Katara as a mistress, with Mai as wife? I don't think both women wouldn't appreciate it. Mai would try to get rid of Katara by any means and Katara wouldn't like to be reduced to a plaything for life. I can't even imagine what Hakoda think about such arrangement regarding his little girl.

Take your time, we can wait bit longer for updates.

I got frustrated this past week because the previous chapter was so exciting and no upload. But, now that I know what's on your plate, I'll try to be patient for the next one. I am sorry for your loss and I hope you're alright. I wish you luck at work; I know what it's like to have everything dumped on you all of a sudden.

I love the story so far, and I'm excited for the next chapter. As a criticism, I should only advise you to keep a close eye on the punctuation as sometimes it's no big deal, but other times the lack of commas kinda gets me confused.
One last thing: have you considered adding this story to the site archiveofourown dot com? If you've even heard of it. It has a better rating system than FFN so, it could pass. I just hate seeing an awesome story be under appreciated. Just thought to ask you :)

All in all, thank you for sticking with the story and I can't wait to read more, but, you should write once you're back on your feet and have more time.

    W/ Love

    Hey,

Don't worry about the reply. I read it, so no problem.

Veeery interesting chapter there. I loved it. I love how Katara is warming up to him, but I still feel a singe uneasy when I recall what he did to her. This is classic Stockholm Syndrome - but, lucky for you, I happen to be a big fan of that 'genre'...what can I say? I'm evil and twisted.

My problem w/ the chapter is lack of details - more clearly, the interactions. You didn't detail Katara's feelings and thoughts or Zuko's logic.
I hope Katara IS able to have children, 'cuz I feel sorry for her when she cries about not being able to.

All in all, one of my favorite chapters. Keep it up :) I hope you would update more frequently, but I get it if you can't right now.

    I wish you the best,

    W/ Love,

    Mimi

I love the parts with Water Tribes. They are very dark, but it's not a story for children. I'm looking forward to read Ozais reaction, especially that his plan to break the resistance failed, bringing the Water Tribes to move far more violent against the Firenation.
I also wonder if the "Ursa" will be informed? Will Katara know it's her father who became a monster too? The Katara/Zuko chapters are nice and I feel really sorry how Katara sees herself as inferior. I think Zuko should ask more about the Water Tribe customs to understand that he did to her, and that she will be held responsible.

...must...not...succumb into...temptation...I have projects due next week...I'll read lat-

Fuck it, I'll read now. I can't not read it after days of waiting...:P

Interesting chapters, though I must honestly tell you now that I really don't care for chapters that aren't Zuko-Katara centric...I get that they're vital to the story but...still...

I have a hunch that you'll write in the Ember Island players into the story and that Katara's current situation would be in the play...just a hunch :)

When will they finally dock? They've been on the ship for like 80% of the story. The story's moving around pretty slowly and I can't even Imagine how many chapters it will be...not that I'm complaining ;) The more the better, I'm just insanely curious how long this story will be. Also, how, just how will Katara be able to love Zuko?

Gah, I don't wanna bury you with incessant questions :) Update real soon and good luck with everything.

    W/ Love,

    Mimi

I really liked the chapter with Akesato, when she told Zuko how hard it will be to earn Kataras... I don't know trust, affection? I think I see what you are trying to achieve, as in Zuko changing Kataras view of him and that he really cares about her now, but the way you wrote Katara, strong-headed, independent character, I don't think he can sway her, without making her ooc. In the chapter where he asked Ching Pei to teach him how to do a massage, you finally wrote that Ching Mei was healed by Katara, which I already suspected, but I wonder what hidden agenda has Azula. Did she cared enough about the little girl? Somehow I don't think so ;)

So Zuko now stooped so low to drug Katara to use her? Wow that's low. BTW does Katara know how to blood-bend in your story?

I don't think Ozai approves Katara as a possible wife for Zuko, or did I miss something? :) So Zuko is obsessed with Katara like Ozai is with Ursa, but till now didn't realized it? The interaction between Katara and the female doctor was very insightful, but also sad. I now wonder if the man who brought her sister back was the same person as the guard form shift three?

BTW what happened to the chapter with Toph and Iroh in Firefountain City?

I knew Katara was pregnant. Damn you Zuko! You'd better hope Katara can still have children! I'm proud of him for finally putting Mai in her place though. That was long over due.

I was grinning from ear to ear when Zuko made Mai apologize to Katara. Easily one of my favorite chapters thus far.
