  The majestic white alicorn Princess Celestia sat on her couch-throne, her muted-rainbow mane and tail gently flowing and waving around her despite the absence of any breeze. Her bright eyes shone with true joy as her dark purple counterpart stood at the bottom of the steps. "My dear little sister, do not hesitate to approach. You are always welcome to join me on my dais at your pleasure."

  The night-themed alicorn pranced up the stairs while sporting a natural smile. "You requested my presence, dear sister?"

  "Yes, thank you," the elder began. "I have been wondering if, after having these past months to readjust to life in Equestria, you would be willing to again fulfill your role as the moon's caretaker and keeper of the night."

  "My Princess and beloved, I am truly honored that you again trust me, both in intent and competence, to return to my rightful place in the Heavens." Celestia's eyes lit up. She sucked in a deep breath and was about to respond... until her little sister cut her off. "But after having been imprisoned in that dreadful sphere for a millennium I feel I must answer only by saying 'Fuck that.'" Luna trotted down the steps and then turned back to her dumbfounded sister to add, "From now and forevermore, my nights will be spent 'clubbing' and indulging in all other manner of entertainment. And now, if you will excuse me, I shall get a pizza and play some X-Box."

  With that, she trotted off with her head held high and a much bigger smile on her face. Even her most steadfast guards couldn't help but snicker as Princesses Celestia facehoofed.
