Authors Note: This story was written by an adult for adults. It does feature intimate moments with a skeleton (The Grim Reaper no less) and that may be a bit unsuitable for some people. If you enjoy Grim/Mandy as I do, you may like it. But for the sake of children who may accidently stumble across this story, please be warned before you proceed.
Mandy awoke in the morning with a cold sensation on her feet. Her blanket was around her shoulders, but her feet were sticking out.
Angrily she tossed it on the floor, wondering if Grim had washed it in cold water, causing it to shrink. She opened her window and scowled. “It's too bright.” She muttered.
She went over to her dresser and started pulling out her clothes, but something didn't seem right. She walked over to her mirror and stood up, suddenly realizing she had nearly grown five inches.
“Darn” She grumbled. None of her clothes seemed to fit right, nor did her shoes. “What in the heck is going on here?” Mandy wondered as she examined herself.
Her hair seemed normal as she brushed it, her teeth weren't’t any different, but her whole body had seemed to grow overnight. “Or the world just shrunk” She thought to herself.
She ate her breakfast quietly while her Mom talked on the phone. Mandy wasn’t about to ask her Mom for some new clothes, that would only result in a ghastly trip to the mall.
Mandy figured she could get a few more days before she had to buy some stuff, on her spare time. Most likely she’d take Grim though, she took him everywhere. Suddenly Mandy's thoughts turned to Grim, wondering what he and Billy were up to.
Today was the first day of a new school year, High School in fact. Mandy had no idea how Billy got to be freshman, but he sure was.
She had been surprised that Junior had been accepted to a private school, but as long as he was gone she was happy. Of course Irwin had been skipped to 10th grade rather than taking his freshman year, but that only meant one less dweeb to deal with.
Mandy trudged along to the bus stop, where Billy stood picking his nose. “Hey Mandy, tee hee! Look what Grim can do.”
Mandy rolled her eyes as Grim removed his head and spun it on his finger. “Pretty good eh? Hmm, some ding seems different about you.” Grim said as he placed his head back on. Billy looked at her as Mandy scowled.
“Billy,” Grim asked, “Does Mandy seem taller to you?"
Mandy gasped as Grim checked her out, covering her arms over her chest. “Back off Bone Man. I’m just growing.” Billy laughed and taunted, “Irwin’s gonna LOOOUURRVVEE that!!”
Mandy smacked him upside the head as the bus came. “Well you kids have a good day; I’m off to do some reaping.”
Grim waved as the kids left for school, then did a cartwheel down the sidewalk. “I’m free! Free from dem brats for 7 whole hours!”
At school Mandy noticed more of the boys looking at her, and even Mindy watching her in math. She couldn’t believe that this had to happen to her, and now.
Mandy had already listened to “the talk” with her parents, and had researched puberty on Google; but none of those had prepared her for what it was really like.
She felt angry and confused. None of the other girls in gym had two irritating bumps on their chests, and none of them were as tall as her.
The only place she felt comfortable at was outside the High School auditorium, where the band geeks were too busy to notice her.
