As Kim took in her surroundings, her big fern-green eyes widened slightly. It was true that she had been to many incredibly beautiful places throughout her short but adventurous life, but most of the time she’d never had the opportunity to really stop and appreciate them thanks to whatever pressing business it was that brought her to them. This time it was different. There were no people to be saved; no doomsday weapons to be destroyed; no villains to be foiled; and no ticking clock in her head constantly telling her she needed to hurry hurry hurry.
The airport was a small grey and brown wasteland in an otherwise amazing display of emerald and azure hues. The ocean blended into the sky straight ahead of her, with a swath of puffy white clouds accentuating the brilliant blue display, while far behind her Kim could see jutting hills and mountains to either side of the plane, carpeted in the rich green hues of verdant jungle and contrasting the lightly clouded sky with their upward thrusting peaks. The sun beat down on her warmly and the humid breeze seemed to caress her even as it carried the fresh scent of the ocean to her nose.
“Welcome to Kauai County, Hawaii.” Corscan said with a grin. “So, was it worth the wait?”
“You… you brought me to… Hawaii? For our…” Kim forced herself to say it, “date?”
“Well yeah. A girl’s first time should always be special.”
Kim flushed, half from anger and half from embarrassment. It was embarrassment that won out though, and in her consternation she stammered; “How do you know it’s… I mean…” Kim trailed off, realizing she sounded like an idiot.
Taking a deep breath, Kim tried to calm down. Corscan had to be the most screwed up individual she had ever met who wasn’t a super villain, and aside from Shego and Bonnie, she also seemed to be the only other person Kim knew who could completely flip her off her emotional axis with just a simple comment.
“Ticked you off with that one, didn’t I?” Corscan asked in an amused tone.
Gaaahh! How does she do that? Kim thought furiously before responding calmly; “A little,” unwilling to give the woman any satisfaction.
“Well, you can put that energy to good use soon enough.” Corscan said as she nodded her head in the direction behind Kim.
Kim turned around just as two men in ground crew jumpsuits came into view from behind the side of the plane closet to the nearby hanger, each pushing a high-end mountain bike alongside them. Turning back to Corscan as the men brought a bike over to each of them and handed it over, Kim raised an eyebrow and said; “Mountain bikes?”
“What? You thought that I was going to haul our shapely but apparently lazy asses around the island in a high performance sports car or motorcycle?” Corscan paused for a moment and smiled before adding; “That part comes later.” Then her smirk deepened as she finished; “Why, don’t think you can keep up with me darlin’?”
Kim’s eyes narrowed slightly, but she was smiling again as she said; “Oh, I can keep up lady; you’d better believe it.”
“Then show me darlin’, then show me…” Corscan said as she kicked the pedals of her bike around to a starting position, stopped them, and then with one fluid motion swung her leg over the bike and shot off in a not so surprising burst of acceleration as her strong legs flexed hard against the pedals and the bike rocked back and forth with the power strokes she was using.
A mere heartbeat later Kim leapt onto her own bike and gave chase, losing ground initially as she downshifted so that she could make up for the power Corscan was using with peddling speed instead, but as she started to accelerate, Kim kept gearing up as quickly as she could while maintaining the same breakneck pace, and soon she was gaining on Corscan. A minute later she was right behind the woman when suddenly, as she was preparing to overtake her and gain the lead, Kim realized that she couldn’t overtake Corscan because she didn’t have a clue where they were going.
Grumbling to herself, Kim kept pace behind Corscan as the woman navigated the airport, leaving by a side gate and crossing the rugged field surrounding it before getting onto what looked like a main highway. From there Corscan set a steady, strong pace that soon had Kim sweating in the hot sun and feeling a nice low burn of exertion in her legs as she kept up with her.
As they chewed up what eventually became miles of highway, Kim marveled at the beautiful landscape they were traveling through, enjoying the lush greens of the open fields and darker jungles and rising mountains to her left as well as the whites and browns of sandy beaches and blues and greens of the ocean to her right. The first few miles were mostly undeveloped, with the only manmade sight a mile-long golf course on the right with a small park at the end of it. After that they crossed a bridge and entered an area that was heavily developed for three miles or so, with countless condos, hotels, tourist traps, and a half-mile long beach park crowded with tourists. After that, there was another two-mile stretch of soft green open fields and jungle with little development, and then they came to a small town that had another tourist park in the middle of it.
After they passed the last park, Corscan turned off the highway and began heading inland, following a smaller road towards the nearby mountains. As the slope began to increase, Kim started to feel more of a burn in her legs at the effort of maintaining the same speed they had so far, and after a few minutes she was forced to downshift in order to keep up with Corscan’s relentless pace. Soon however, even Corscan was downshifting as the slope increased to highly noticeable levels, and in the end, the big woman was working harder to keep up the pace than Kim was, due to her heavier frame and the effort required getting it up the hill they were battling.
After a long, hard grind to the top, Kim and Corscan finally topped the last rise and rolled to a stop in a small parking lot that occupied what could best be described as a broad mini-plateau or enormous ledge on the side of the mountain. The edge of the plateau had an iron guardrail running around it and a couple of pay-binocular units standing sentinel along its length. However, Kim quickly disregarded all of that as she gazed out in wonder over the gorgeous view offered by the overlook park.
The mountains rose and fell all around them in sprawling walls of thick greenery, cutting into the deep blue sky with the rough lines of their peaks, and Kim thought she could see the distant blue and white lines of several waterfalls along their lengths.
“Nice, ain’t it?” Corscan said as she got off her bike and began walking it toward the only other vehicle in the lot; a well preserved but slightly worn looking Volkswagen Beetle.
“It’s beautiful.” Kim responded.
“C’mon, bring your bike over here an’ I’ll take care of it while you go take in the view.”
“Ok.” Kim said, getting off her bike and bringing it over to Corscan. Then she wandered over to the railing and leaned up against it, drinking in the lush surroundings with considerable delight.
Behind Kim, Corscan put both bikes up on their kickstands next to the Volkswagen and then went around to the front of the car, dug some keys out of her left-hand pocket, and used them to open the trunk before putting them away again. A moment later Corscan was taking two heavy bicycle locks out of the trunk and locking the mountain bikes together through their tires with a brisk efficiency. Then she went back to the car, took out two small, compact black backpacks from the trunk and shut it securely before heading over to lean against the railing with Kim.
After a couple of minutes in silence Kim couldn’t take her curiosity anymore and asked; “So what are those for?”
“All done with the view?” Corscan smiled as she held out one of the backpacks to Kim. “Here, put this on.”
Kim took the backpack from Corscan and examined it first, noting that it looked an awful lot like a parachute with its complex harness, though she couldn’t be absolutely sure of it. Then she followed Corscan’s example and put the backpack on, making sure everything was well secured and fitted just in case her suspicions were correct.
After they finished, Corscan turned to the rail and gestured at the view as she said; “This lookout rests in a unique notch in this part of the range. Six hundred an’ eighty feet or so below us is a broad clearin’, because the rock is so close to the surface that trees can’t grow there, see? Through the jungle surroundin’ it, about four hundred yards that way,” Corscan pointed, “is another smaller clearin’ near the entrance to an underground stream grotto. A very rough windin’ trail leads from there down the side of the hill for about a half-mile before it comes to the floor of that valley there, see? Now, can you see way over there? That open area with the little buildin’ an’ the parkin’ lot?” Corscan waited until Kim nodded. “If you go right at the valley floor, you can eventually follow the trail out of the valley an’ back up to that lookout, but, if you go left, you’ll come to the base of another cliff that’s the edge of a hill next to that lookout’s parkin’ lot.”
“Why are you telling me all this?” Kim asked as she watched Corscan turn and take half a dozen steps away from the railing.
Corscan smiled but remained silent, gesturing for Kim to come and join her. Once she did, Corscan stepped closer to Kim and leaned in towards her. Kim felt her stomach do a fluttering little dance as Corscan kept getting closer, thinking that she was going to kiss her again, but instead, the big woman softly whispered in her ear; “First one to the parkin’ lot wins…”
As Kim’s eyes widened in surprise Corscan pulled back and charged the railing, taking an enormous stretching step at the last second to plant her right foot on the top of the metal bar and take a huge leap up and out into the open space beyond. Even as she did so Kim recovered and was whirling to chase after her, a tight, grim smile on her face as she furiously thought; Oh no, you’re not going to beat me again!
As Kim raced after Corscan she saw the woman twist in the air so that she was flying backwards, looking at Kim as she smiled her deep, lopsided grin and brought her hand up to the side of her forehead to give Kim a jaunty little two-fingered salute before she dropped out of sight. Kim growled even as she couldn’t help but grin at the gesture and jumped up on the railing before leaping off herself, but unlike Corscan, Kim squatted on the rail like Spiderman on a flagpole for a split second first, pushing off at as close to a downward angle as she could manage.
As soon as Kim launched herself into space and felt gravity take hold of her, she pulled her arms and legs in close and dipped her fall so she was head down in a skydiver’s torpedo form to make up time for the several seconds lead Corscan had on her—despite how crazy such a move was while performing a low height BASE jump. While she did however, she growled again as she saw that Corscan must have done the same thing as soon as she’d lost sight of her, because the woman was flipping up into a lateral position and pulling her chute much further down the cliff than she should have been otherwise.
Kim’s heart raced as the wind from her fall whistled sharply in her ears and the ground rushed up towards her, but she held her torpedo form for as long as she possibly could before flipping lateral herself and pulling her chute, feeling the sharp jerk of the straps digging into her legs and shoulders as it deployed, while her stomach lurched, seeming to want to keep going out through her. As Kim sailed down towards the clearing below, she watched Corscan carefully for the handful of seconds they glided down, taking note of how hard the woman landed thanks to the low altitude she opened her chute at, rolling into the impact as she hit. Kim had a couple of seconds more to watch Corscan get to her feet and begin undoing the straps of her chute before she needed to concentrate on her own landing.
Unlike Corscan, Kim hit the ground running, trusting in her balance and agility as well as her lighter weight to carry her through safely. There was a quick moment of panic when she almost stumbled and went down on a rough patch of terrain, but she managed to recover and keep going. A few seconds later Kim came to a stop and began clawing open the buckles to her chute, franticly squirming out of the harness as fast as she could while watching Corscan disappear into the wall of jungle at the edge of the clearing, currently able to do no more than make a sharp sound of frustration over it.
As soon as Kim was free she took off like a shot, sprinting to the edge of the clearing and leaping through a gap in the undergrowth to land deep inside the tree line. Continuing her headlong rush, Kim urgently scanned the jungle in front of her as her eyes quickly adjusted to the gloom, looking both for a clear path to take and for signs of Corscan. Leaping over a fallen tree, Kim was rewarded with both; several fairly clear routes stretched out in front of her, and she caught a glance of Corscan’s silhouette as she vaulted over some distant obstacle as well.
Redoubling her speed, Kim threw herself into the pursuit, leaping and bounding over everything in her path like a gazelle as she raced along, slowly but surely closing the gap between her and Corscan. Kim’s mind raced as she calculated her path with an intense focus, plotting her moves as far ahead of time as she could manage. Soon Kim had halved the distance between her and the other woman, and she was now able to keep track of her through the heavy foliage much easier, but Kim was still frustrated over her progress. At this rate it would take her far too long to catch up with Corscan for her tastes; testament to the unusual speed and acrobatic ability the big woman possessed despite her size.
Kim grit her teeth and kept going; there was nothing more she could do to catch up, she was already going full out as it was. Leaping up onto a huge fallen tree, Kim ran a dozen yards along it’s length and then launched herself off it to grab a low hanging branch and flip herself further along to a second branch in a good imitation of Monkey Fist before she finally hit the ground once more. With a shocking suddenness, Kim lost sight of Corscan, and she was confounded as to why until she’d covered another twenty yards or so and could see the jungle thinning out ahead of her.
Kim burst into the second clearing just in time to see Corscan getting onto another mountain bike and tearing off towards the mouth of the path leading downhill to the valley below. Kim sprinted towards a second mountain bike that was standing waiting for her and grabbed it, running with the bike alongside her until the kickstand snapped up and then vaulting onto the seat and setting her feet firmly on the pedals before standing and pumping hard to get up speed.
Soon Kim was racing down the trail after Corscan at a breakneck speed—somewhat literally considering how steep and rugged the path was. As she chased Corscan, Kim realized she had no chance to catch up to her unless she could figure out a strategy to do so, because the woman was currently far ahead of her and getting farther by the moment.
Thanks to the steep downhill grade, Corscan’s weight was actually helping her gain speed, and her exceptional strength and considerable skill allowed her to power her bike through many maneuvers that would have stalled or wiped out a lesser rider. Kim had her own advantages however; she might not be able to bull her way through some of the crazy twists and turns Corscan was doing, but she got more airtime on her jumps, and her landings look less effort thanks to her lighter weight. Still, it looked like Corscan’s advantages were the better ones to have as she kept pulling further and further ahead of Kim.
With a grim frown of concentration, Kim decided that the only way she could manage to make up the distance was to try something a little crazy. At the next switchback instead of going around the turn, Kim swerved sharply and went off the trail completely, jumping her bike over the rough terrain between the higher and lower paths, twisting in midair and landing hard on the trail below, avoiding nearly twelve yards of travel around the turn. From that point on, whenever she could Kim jumped her bike over the intervening terrain between turns; at one point she was even able to use a sharp bulge in the trail as a ramp to jump to the next level of the trail almost in the middle of that section.
Despite the success of her high-flying tactics, Kim was still trailing behind Corscan by nearly two hundred yards when the big woman hit the valley floor and turned left, just like Kim knew she would. By now Kim was panting hard while her legs—and to a lesser extent, arms—ached with the burn of heavy exertion from the brutal chase, but she was still smiling, because she saw that Corscan had slowed considerably now that she was heading up the valley, just like she had previously when they were going uphill on the way to the lookout they’d started from.
Jumping the last turn instead of taking it, Kim hit the trail and actually geared up for two-dozen hard pumps on the pedals, building up as much speed as she possibly could before she hit the valley floor. The instant Kim came off the path, she turned left, dropped three gears in quick succession to keep up her peddling pace, and began the difficult task of navigating the rough valley floor without killing herself.
Her eyes darted frantically back and forth as she tracked her route through the brutal terrain and the constant obstacles that kept threatening to send her crashing across the rocky ground in a bone-shattering tumble. Her bike bounced and juddered so hard at times while she was swerving and slamming her way up the valley that she thought she might crack a tooth from the impacts, but she was still grinning ear to ear as every once and a while she was able to snap her gaze up for a split second and see that she was still closing on Corscan in her mad pursuit.
Finally Kim came to the end of the valley in a squeal of tightly clamped brakes as she ground to a barely controlled halt in front of the cliff face less than a half minute behind Corscan. Quickly jumping off her bike and heedlessly letting it drop to the ground beside her with a dull clatter, Kim swept her gaze across the rocky wall in front of her, noting that Corscan was already twenty feet up the far right-hand side of the cliff face and climbing higher by the moment.
Her mind raced to assess the routes available to her, seeing that although Corscan had taken the easier route, with plenty of solid handholds for her to use rushing up the cliff with her superior strength, it was also the longest one, as it required several unscalable obstacles to be bypassed on the way up. Kim bounced forward even as she decided that for her, the most direct route was the one to use. It was a much more difficult climb, but she knew her skill and light weight should be more than adequate for the task.
Digging her fingers and toes into the few shallow handholds available in the rock, Kim scurried up the cliff like a spider monkey for nearly sixty feet before she came to the first obstacle; a narrow ledge with nothing but smooth rock above the section she was under and a broad gap in the center of it where a portion of its length had fallen away long ago.
Hanging by her arms, Kim swayed back and forth in little jerks as she made her way along the edge of the ledge toward the center gap. Once there she made sure that her right hand had a secure grip on the rock above her and then, taking a deep breath, Kim let go with her left hand and swung out and around, pivoting on her right arm so that her back was to the cliff face and she was looking out on the valley far below. As she swung around, Kim reached out for the far side of the gap with straining fingers and when her hand connected with the other ledge Kim grabbed the rough stone and held on tightly, stopping her movement and simply hanging from both outspread arms for a moment, waiting to see if her grip was secure. After she was sure her left hand wasn’t going to slip, Kim let go with her right hand and swung around once more, turning back towards the cliff and grabbing the other ledge with both hands.
From there Kim shot up the cliff once more, the handholds here being a little more plentiful and secure, until they finally petered out only thirty feet from the top and she reached the last difficulty of the climb. The only route remaining was a narrow crack in the rock that traveled at a shallow angle for nearly fifteen feet before it suddenly widened out into a chimney and shot up sharply all the way to the top of the cliff. Looking off to the side, Kim grit her teeth and growled as she saw that her suspicions about the route when she’d looked at it from below had been correct; there was no way she could get herself up into the chimney if she traveled the crack by hanging off of it by her arms.
Sighing, Kim jammed her right arm into the narrow gap all the way to her elbow and balled her fist inside it, wedging her hand against the stone tightly as she did so. Then, very carefully, Kim leaned back and put more and more of her weight on her arm, testing to see if it was secure or not. Once she was sure her hand wasn’t going to slip, Kim put her feet against the side of the cliff and let go with her other hand, ‘walking’ into a squatting position as she hung by her arm. Grinding her teeth at the strain on her arm and the gouging pain in her hand, Kim quickly rammed her left arm into the gap as well, securing it with another fist and distributing her weight onto both arms as soon as she was sure her second hand wasn’t going to slip either.
Once secure, Kim proceeded to ‘duck walk’ across the surface of the cliff in her squatting pose, putting all her weight on her left arm before releasing her right arm and moving it further up the gap, then balling her fist again and taking all her weight on it as she moved her left arm over as well. Kim’s arms and legs felt like they were on fire from the strain when she finally reached the chimney, and if she wasn’t panting from the exertion she would have been constantly growling from the accompanying pain in her hands.
Quickly scanning the chimney, Kim spotted a good handhold and, with an act of will, rested all of her weight on her left arm once more and pulled her right out of the gap. Then she straightened out as much as she could, reaching into the chimney for the handhold even as she screamed from the white-hot burning that blossomed in her left shoulder. Desperately clawing at the grip with her fingers, Kim sobbed gratefully as she caught hold of it and took some of the strain off of her other arm. A few seconds later Kim found a second handhold on the far side of the chimney and let go with her other hand, snapping her arm up into the gap and grabbing it even as she started to slide sideways. After that, she quickly pulled herself up, scrambling into the bottom of the chimney and crouching there for several seconds as she recovered from the effort of getting there.
As soon as she was able, Kim carefully stood up in the chimney, holding herself in place with her arms and legs braced against either side of the narrow gap. Once she was sure of her balance, Kim began climbing again in short but quick little hops, pulling her legs up, bracing her feet, and then standing to brace her arms at the higher level so she could repeat the process. In this manner Kim scaled the chimney in a jerky but extremely rapid fashion, and in very little time she was within reaching distance of the top of the cliff. Grabbing the edge, Kim took two more hops up so that her hips were level with it and then pulled herself forward and onto the grassy hill at the top of the cliff.
As much as she wanted to give her tired, aching muscles a rest, Kim didn’t have the time, because as she was pulling herself up, she saw Corscan in her peripheral vision, practically flying up over the edge of the cliff to land in a crouch fifty yards to her right. Groaning, Kim hauled her legs up under her and surged to her feet, breaking into a dead run even as Corscan did the same, both of them angling towards the parking lot at the top of the hill.
Corscan’s thighs and calves bulged mightily as she rushed up the incline, but Kim made up for her power and longer stride with graceful, bounding steps that carried her up the steep hill just as quickly. Unfortunately, “just as quickly” wasn’t going to cut it, and Kim knew it. With a continuous loud, sharp sound of aggravation, Kim dug down deep into her reserves and pushed herself to go all-out, forcing every ounce of speed from her burning muscles even as her side cramped up on her and her lungs seemed to fill with broken glass.
Howling like a banshee, Kim came flying up over the top of the rise and shot toward the parking lot, legs moving in a blur, head bowed low, and arms scything up and down furiously as she sprinted towards her goal with everything she had. Three pounding heartbeats later, Kim’s right foot slammed down on asphalt two full strides in front of Corscan, and she exalted her victory in her mind even as she and Corscan were both forced to keep going across the parking lot by the speed they were running at—that or risk stumbling into the face-first sprawl a sudden stop might cause.
Winding down to a trot and then a staggering walk, both Kim and Corscan collapsed onto the soft, lush green lawn on the far side of the parking lot as soon as they reached it, rolling onto their backs and staring up at the fluffy clouds in the deep blue sky far above them. Both of them were slick with sweat and breathing heavily as they lay drying in the gentle breeze and hot Hawaiian sun, but to Kim’s annoyance her own panting sounded like a broken blacksmith’s bellows compared to Corscan’s controlled inhalations. Still, she had beaten her, and that was all that mattered… or was it?
Propping herself up on her elbows, Kim looked over to Corscan, studying her intently as she lay on the grass a few feet from Kim, eyes closed and a faint smile on her well-defined lips. The big woman certainly looked like she was tired, her stomach rising and falling in a very obvious display of sharply contracting and relaxing muscle thanks to her deep breathing, but Kim’s suspicions still nagged at her intently. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she asked; “Corscan, you didn’t let me win, did you?”
Corscan opened her eyes and squinted in the bright sunlight, raising an eyebrow as she tilted her head to the side to look up at Kim while answering dryly; “Do I look like I let you win?”
“I’m not sure, that’s why I asked.”
Corscan sighed and closed her eyes again, raising her powerful arms above her and resting her head on her interlaced fingers as she smiled and said; “No, I didn’t let you win, ok? Can you be any more paranoid?”
“Hey! I’m not the one that spent two hours making someone think they were a better fighter than they were before stomping them into the dirt thank you very much!” Kim grumbled, but she was smiling as she did so.
“Yeah, yeah, yeah; what’re’ya gonna hold that over my head for the rest’a my life?” Corscan smiled.
“Hey, you reap what you sow lady.” Kim chuckled.
Corscan laughed and answered; “Touché. Score one for the cheerleader. But you really did beat me Kim… well, more or less. I mean, I suppose I could have really pushed myself to go full out if I’d wanted too. Pulled off just a touch more speed an’ come out ahead of you. But then again, you didn’t kill yourself to win either, now did you?”
Kim sighed as Corscan hit home on her. It was true that she could have pushed herself faster in the initial sprint through the jungle, and taken more risks biking down the trail and climbing the cliff. She’d only gone all-out at the very end of the race, when it had come right down to the wire.
“Ok, ok, I give; you win. Errr… I mean, I win. Whatever…” Kim laughed. “So, what’s next on the agenda?”
Corscan sat up smoothly and brushed a few blades of loose grass off her thick forearms as she looked over to Kim. With a faint smile and a raised eyebrow she said; “Eager girl now, are we?”
Kim felt a nervous little quiver dance through her tummy at the insinuation even as her anger made a halfhearted effort to rise, but she was still riding high off her exertion-fueled endorphin rush and victory and much to her dismay, she found herself saying; “So what if I am?”
“Oh, nothin’ wrong with eager. I like eager…”
Corscan’s smile deepened, and for the barest instant Kim could see something in her currently green-hued hazel eyes, something she had seen a version of a handful of times before in the eyes of the few leering jackasses that had hit on her in school just because they thought she was good-looking, but this was different. More… evolved, than the hormone-driven lust those boys had had, more mature. It was… it was a hunger, very primal, and very potent. Then it was gone, leaving behind nothing more than a shiver running down Kim’s spine and a faint blush spreading cross her cheeks.
“C’mon, let’s go then.” Corscan said as she stood up. A moment later she held her hand out to Kim and when she took it, pulled her up to her feet as if she weighed nothing. Kim brushed some bits of grass off herself and then hurried to catch up to Corscan as she headed across the parking lot. As Kim fell in alongside her, Corscan held up a pair of keys and dangled them in front of Kim, dropping them into her hands when she raised them.
“What are these for?” Kim asked curiously.
“Those,” Corscan said, jerking her chin up to indicate a pair of motorcycles that were parked between a jeep and a minivan.
“Really?” Kim said, looking at the powerful machines sitting glistening in the warm sun, one deep cobalt and the other amethyst, and both with brilliant gleaming chrome. They were big, with sleek, flowing lines and broad tires and they looked… sexy to Kim. She’d never told anyone this, but Kim had really enjoyed riding Motor Ed’s hog late last summer when he and Drakken had teamed up and stolen Felix’s cybernetic wheelchair—fleeing for her life from Drakken’s Doom-V aside anyway—and she knew that if she could ever afford it, she was sure she would own a motorcycle along with a car. If it weren’t for practicality issues, she would rather have a motorcycle over a car actually.
“Yeah, why?” Corscan asked.
“Oh, nothing…” Kim said coyly, grinning like an idiot even as she swung her leg over the amethyst bike and sat down on it, picking up the barely legally compliant “skid lid” style helmet from between the handlebars while she pulled her scrunchie off. After redoing her hair in a low-riding ponytail Kim strapped on the padded bowl of black plastic, slid the keys into the bike, and kicked the engine over, smiling even more at the soft rumble the high performance machine gave off. Then she turned to see that Corscan was watching her intently from the back of her own bike, an amused smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye.
“What?” Kim asked.
“Why do I get the impression that somebody really likes the feel of power between her legs?” Corscan replied smoothly, one eyebrow raised and her grin almost a smirk now.
Kim flushed a bright red at the innuendo, but she kept smiling, and kept her gaze squarely on Corscan’s eyes as she bantered back; “Maybe I’m not the only one?”
Corscan chuckled deeply and replied; “Oh, now that shows you have potential darlin’; real potential,” before kicking over her own engine and settling down on her bike, slowly pulling out into the main parking lot. Kim laughed and followed Corscan out, pulling up alongside her while shaking her head in disbelief over what she had said to the woman.
“You ready to ride darlin’?” Corscan asked.
“Born ready.” Kim replied with a tight grin.
“Well all right then…” Corscan grinned back before gunning her engine twice and then ripping out of the parking lot in a hundred yard long catwalk.
Kim shook her head quickly and then tore out of the lot herself, crouching low and pushing her bike fast and hard until she caught up to Corscan. Once she came up alongside her, Kim pulled her own catwalk and moved out in front of Corscan for a long run before dropping back down. After that, Kim and Corscan both exchanged lead positions repeatedly as they passed and re-passed one another while flying up the long access road towards the highway.
Once they reached the highway Corscan turned left and slowed down to a more reasonable pace, as did Kim, once more needing to follow along behind Corscan as she led the way. Less than fifteen minutes later they hit the edges of the expansive resort town of Princeville, and for the next half hour or so, Corscan took Kim to see the major sights in the area, pausing at each one for a while to let Kim take it in before moving on to the next.
The sun was starting to get low in the sky when Corscan turned to Kim and said; “I hope you’re startin’ to get hungry again.”
“Yeah, I could eat now if I had to.” Kim answered with a smile while she looked out on the beautiful valley stretching out below her. In actuality, although Kim was starting to get hungry again, what she really wanted to find in the next little while was a bathroom, before it got to the point where she actually had to ask for one.
“Ok, let’s get goin’ then. We’ve still got some time before dinner, but I’m sure you’d like to be able to freshen up an’ change at a nice relaxed pace instead of all in a rush.”
Kim nodded and followed Corscan as she pulled out of the lookout. Only a few minutes later they were pulling up in front of the sprawling Princeville Hotel. Following Corscan’s lead, Kim got off her bike and collected a receipt from the valet who ran out to deal with her vehicle, handing it to Corscan at her gestured request. Then she followed her into the main lobby and waited while Corscan went to the front desk and quickly collected a pair of room cards from one of the women on duty there. Corscan took off her chronograph while she was waiting for the cards, and as soon as she got them she returned to Kim and handed her one along with the watch.
“We’ve got just under forty-five minutes to get ready darlin’, an’ you need to be back here by six fifteen, ok?”
“All right,” Kim said, not sure whether she was relived or disappointed that Corscan wasn’t coming with her to the same room.
Kim followed Corscan as she turned and headed across the lobby toward the elevator banks, seeing that her room was on the second floor from the number on her card. In the elevator Kim hit the second floor button after Corscan stabbed the third, and after a short wait the doors closed and then opened again when they’d reached her floor.
“See ya’ soon darlin’,” Corscan smiled as Kim exited the elevator, and Kim gave her a little wave in return as she echoed her “See ya’ soon” just before the doors slid shut.

The AFF system includes a rigorous and complex abuse control system in order to prevent improper use of the AFF service, and we hope that its deployment indicates a good-faith effort to eliminate any illegal material on the site in a fair and unbiased manner. This abuse control system is run in accordance with the strict guidelines specified above.
