Thisstory is very in-keeping with the cartoon (when it was wellwritten!). Arnold and Helga were clearly too mature to be believablenine year olds, so getting married at sixteen makes a lot of sense,and is clearly right for them. I think it's also fitting that Grandpais still Arnold's main adult, and the only one offering realemotional and practical support! Gerald and Phoebe's relationshipmoving more slowly also feels true to the show, and we see that theyare progressing towards the physical side at their own pace. I could very clearly visualise Gerald's face when Phoebe was taking somethingout of her bag!
