“Get out! Get the fuck out of here, you trashy whore!”
Iknik Blackstone Varrick sighed as he looked up from the blueprints he was working on. Why build a house this big if he could still hear people shouting in it? He rose from his desk and walked out of his office and down the hallway just in time to watch his daughter harass the newest staff member across the foyer and out the front door.
“Don’t come back, skank!” Korra shouted before she slammed the door shut.
Korra spun on her heels and spotted him watching from the second floor railing.
“Hi daddy!” Korra called out as she began racing up the steps. Varrick’s eyes went elsewhere as his daughter’s barely clad breasts swayed and bounced. It was both a blessing and a curse that Korra took after her mother, whoever she was. If she had inherited his whip-thin frame and not the curves that filled out her chest and hips, he shuddered to think how much bitchier she would be.
“Korra, what did she do? Zhu Li said she had an impressive resume,” Varrick said as his daughter gave him a hug.
“The only thing she had was an impressive rack. She was a total slut, daddy,” Korra protested. “You can’t have a woman like that wandering around the house. She might try to seduce you and take my-I mean, our-I mean, your money!” her brilliant blue eyes sparkled innocently as she pouted at him.
Varrick raised an eyebrow as he glanced down at his daughter’s outfit. Korra was an extremely fashion-forward girl but the bikini was little more than strips of fabric that barely covered her crotch and breasts. It was a bit much, even for a forward-thinking individual like himself. At least she had the sense to only wear such…progressive outfits at home. If photos of her like this became public, the resulting scandal would ruin his reputation.
“I’ll have Zhu Li start looking for someone else,” Varrick said tiredly. “Why don’t you get dressed and go shopping? Doesn’t that always cheer you up?”
He didn’t understand why that seemed to have the opposite effect as she looked at him dully, “Ok, daddy, thanks.”
She sauntered off and Varrick sighed as he made his way back to his office, hoping that he would get a few hours of peace and quiet out of her shopping trip. Sitting at his desk, his mind continued to puzzle over his daughter and what was to be done with her. An idea began to emerge and Varrick quickly found himself jotting notes in the corner of his blueprints.

Bolin strolled through the shopping district, trying to look casual as he window shopped. The high end places would shoo him away if he stopped and stared at the displays too long. It was his favorite way to pass the time whenever his brother was busy.
He slowed to admire a particularly impressive window display and became so entranced, he missed the store’s door swinging open. Instinct was the only thing that saved him from a collision and as he spun around the door, he bumped into the person exiting and the boxes they were carrying.
“Oof! Hey watch it!” Bolin heard someone shout, but his focus was on catching the boxes that had gone airborne from the collision. With grace developed in the arena, he managed to catch each box one after the other until he held a haphazard stack of them.
“Impressive, bellboy, but you still need to watch where you’re going,” the same voice said to Bolin, finally drawing his attention toward the source. The boxes nearly fell to the ground as he found himself face to face with the most beautiful woman he’d ever seen.
She had eyes that shone brighter than sapphires with dark hair cascading down past her shoulders. Two hair tassels with expensive looking ivory beads framed her diamond-shaped face. She pursed subtly plump lips that were painted a dark, almost black, glistening blue as she looked him up and down. Her dress was a two toned blue outfit with the neck and skirt matching the sky and the bodice a deeper ocean blue. Bolin couldn’t help noticing the dress didn’t even reach her knees and it hugged her impressive hips and emphasized an even more impressive bosom.
“Ahem,” she coughed, making Bolin start and have to dance a little as the tower of boxes shifted. “If you’re done staring, bellboy, you can carry those over to my Varri-car.”
Bolin thought about correcting the woman but since he had been the one to bump into her, he figured he at least owed her that.
“Yes, ma’am,” he said, following after her as she strutted over to a high-end vehicle. Bolin couldn’t help eyeing her shapely backside until he noticed the burly driver eyeing Bolin right back, making him duck his head and try to hide behind the boxes. He loaded them into the vehicle’s trunk and stepped back, unable to help asking, “Anything else, ma’am?”
She regarded him coolly before her eyes flicked towards her driver to see if he was watching in the rearview mirror.
“It’s a shame I’m all done shopping, bellboy. I wouldn’t mind watching you carry more things for me,” she said as she pulled a stack of yuan from a handbag he hadn’t noticed before and stepped closer. Bolin stiffened as her other hand cupped his crotch while she stuffed the money in his pocket. “Mmm, yes, such a shame. I bet you could carry quite a lot.”
With that, she stepped past him and climbed into the back of the Varri-car. She looked back at him through the rear window and flashed him a predatory smile before the automobile roared to life and sped away.
Bolin stood on the street, utterly baffled by what had just happened but pretty sure he’d never forget the greatest two minutes of his life.

“Hey, Mako, you home? You’re not going to believe the day I had!” Bolin called out as he stepped inside the small apartment he and his brother lived in with a bundle of hot food wrapped in paper. He only made it a few steps into the space that served as their living room, dining room, and kitchen when he realized that they had company.
An incredibly well groomed man with a widow’s peak and a pencil thin mustache sat opposite his brother, Mako, who looked somewhat unnerved by the stranger’s presence.
“Ah, you must be Bolin. Nice to finally meet you, my boy. Come, sit with Mako so we can finish our little business discussion,” he said, speaking as if this was his apartment, though he would have looked incredibly out of place in the shabby neighborhood with his expensive fur lined Water Tribe suit.
“Okaaaay,” Bolin said as he set the food down before moving to join Mako.
“Bolin, this is Mr. Varrick, of Varrick Global Industries,” Mako said tensely, causing Bolin to freeze as he lowered himself to sit.
“Please, Mr. Varrick was my father. It’s just Varrick, unless you work for me, which you two are about to, unless you’re crazy, which I doubt you are,” Varrick said rapidly, creating a sense of whiplash.
“Uhm, what is it if we do work for you?” Bolin couldn’t help asking as he finished sitting.
“Mr. Varrick, but never mind that. I'm in need of a couple of bright young men with a certain set of skills for a very special job and you two fit the bill perfectly,” Varrick said as he smiled confidently, like his pitch had already been accepted.
“And what is that job exactly?” Bolin asked as he noticed his brother’s jaw was clenched.
“Well, if I have it right,” Mako began as he never looked away from Varrick, “the head of one of the most powerful companies in Republic City wants us to kidnap his daughter.”
“WHAT?!” Bolin shouted before clapping his hands over his mouth. The walls in the building were pretty thin and they didn’t need anyone paying any attention to this discussion.
“It’s not that simple, but yes,” Varrick said as he crossed his legs and rested his hands on his knee. “My darling little Korra has wanted for nothing all her life but I fear that has made her, well, a spoiled brat to be frank. I’m at my wits end with her, which is saying something considering I’m a genius. That’s where you two come in! I need a couple of proper street toughs to scare my sea angel straight. I’ll set up a time and place for you two to snatch her up and put the fear of the spirits into her.”
“I’ve tried to explain to Mr. Varrick that we’re not criminals,” Mako said.
“And your arrest records say otherwise,” Varrick countered. “Listen, I know you’re not bad guys, those arrests didn’t even amount to charges, but you two have lived on the mean streets and that’s what I need. Two capable fellas who can take the wind out of my typhoon of a daughter without letting any harm come to her,” Varrick said with his easy smile before it fell away as he glared from one brother to the other, “Because if even a single hair on her head is damaged, I’ll come down on the both of you like a tidal wave.”
The glare on Varrick’s face evaporated like it had never existed as he smiled again, “But don’t worry, I’ll compensate you two handsomely for your troubles.”
Varrick reached into the inner pocket of his coat and pulled out a checkbook and a pen. He scribbled something down on a check and tore it free before sliding it across the table.
Bolin waited for Mako to reach for the check but when his brother sat like a stone, Bolin tentatively reached for it. He nearly choked at the amount he saw on it.
“And that’s just half. You’ll get the other half when she’s back home safe and sound. Not sure how long you’ll need to keep her to scare some sense into her, but that should help with any preparations you might need to make. So, boys, what do you say?” Varrick asked as he leaned back like he hadn’t just made the craziest offer in the world.
Bolin looked from the check to Mako, trying to gauge his brother’s thoughts. Mako looked stonily at Varrick before his eyes shifted to the check. There was a nearly imperceptible raising of his sharp eyebrows before his gaze jumped to Bolin. Bolin was silently imploring his brother with wide, hopeful eyes and Mako sighed as he deflated.
“Fine, Mr. Varrick, you’ve got yourself a deal.”
“Excellent!” Varrick said as he leapt to his feet. “I’ll send all the necessary details in the next couple of days. And boys, if you cash that check and try to skip town, just remember, that amount is a drop in the bucket compared to what I’ll spend having you hunted down. Nobody makes a fool of Iknik Blackstone Varrick.”
With that, Varrick left, leaving Mako and Bolin to sit in stunned silence. Bolin was the first to move, rising to check the food that he had brought home and found it still plenty warm.
“Really?” Mako asked. “We just agreed to kidnap the daughter of the richest man in the city and you’re hungry? And where did you get the money to afford all of that?”
“I’m almost always hungry,” Bolin shot back as he ate a warm dumpling. “I’ll tell you while we eat. And hey, once this job is done, we can do nearly anything. We can fund the Fire Ferrets properly. Hell, we could be the team’s managers!”
“Fine,” Mako said as he stood up and came over to help himself. “But eat quickly. We’ve got work to do if we’re going to do this properly. No way we can keep her here.”

Korra sighed as she sat at a table in one of the fanciest restaurants in Republic City. Varrick had promised her a daddy-daughter dinner, just the two of them, no business, no Zhu Li, no distractions. And just like Varrick, he had managed to find a way to back out at the last second, leaving her to sit awkwardly by herself while dressed to the nines.
Plenty of men had found their eyes drawn to her in her deep blue silk dress, with its knee high slit, and arctic pig-pheasant feather trim that hid her bosom alluringly. It was the frown on her face and the empty bottles of wine that kept those same men from trying to join her. No one wanted to deal with a woman scorned.
She had ordered the most expensive meal and three of their priciest bottles of wine as a petty attempt to get even, but the meal lay before her, cold and untouched, and now her head swam from the wine. She left it all on her father’s tab and began to stumble her way out to her Varri-car and the driver who was waiting for her.
The cool evening air helped focus her mind a little, enough to notice that the car wasn’t where it was supposed to be.
‘Welp, there goes that jackass’s chance of getting a blowjob,’ Korra thought to herself. Sleeping with Varrick’s security was another way she enjoyed pissing her father off. She was about to wave down a taxi when hands grabbed her on either side.
“Hey! What the he-!” Korra started to shout before a strange smelling rag was held to her mouth. It didn’t take long for her to lose consciousness.

“So far so good, right Ma-?” Bolin started to say before Mako grabbed him.
“No names, ‘Man’,” Mako hissed. His gaze shifted from his brother to the blindfolded woman tied to a chair. Korra was just starting to stir and groggily lifted her head.
“Wha? Huh? What the fuck?!” Korra mumbled before struggling at her restraints.
“Take it easy,” Mako said, making her pause as she looked towards the direction of his voice. “We’re not going to hurt you…as long as you don’t force us to.”
Korra cocked her head before giving it a shake, “You dumb bastards, do you have any idea who you’ve kidnapped? My father-”
“We know all about your father, Miss Korra Varrick,” Bolin cut in, speaking far more gravilly to try to sound more intimidating. “He’ll pay handsomely for your safe return.”
“Wait, Bellboy?” Korra asked. “Are you fucking serious?”
“Erhm, no? I have no idea what you’re talking about,” Bolin said, even as his voice cracked with panic. “Ow!” he shouted as Mako hit him and dragged him to the far side of the small warehouse they had rented to keep Korra at.
“What the hell, dude?” Mako asked. “How did you forget to mention that she knows you?”
“It was completely random, bro, I barely said five words to her,” Bolin said. “And I didn’t know she was the one we’d be kidnapping.”
“This is a pretty lousy start to a kidnapping,” Korra called out to them. “But I gotta give you credit for at least scouting your target first, though Bellboy screwed up by getting too close.”
“I-!” Bolin started to argue before being elbowed by Mako.
“Hmm, so that makes the mysterious man the one in charge,” Korra mused loudly to herself. “Bet you’re quite the dom in the sheets. Then that makes Bellboy the handsy one. Betcha thought I was fully passed out when you copped a feel. You like a girl with big tits and a nice ass, do you?”
Mako shot Bolin a look as he hissed, “Bolin!”
“My hand slipped!” Bolin shouted. “A couple of times and hey, you said no names, Mako!”
Mako sighed exasperatedly as Korra chuckled before repeating their names.
“Bolin. Mako,” she rolled the words over her tongue like she was savoring them. “I hope you’re as cute as Bolin, Mako.”
“Spirits, this is turning into a mess,” Mako growled as he stalked back to Korra. He grabbed the chair and spun her to face him. “Now is the part where you stop talking, either by choice or by the rag I’m going to shove into that pretty mouth of yours.”
Korra smiled as she tipped her head up towards Mako, “If you want me to be quiet, there’s something else I’d happily let you put in my pretty mouth. I promise I won’t even bite.”
“Was she like this with you?” Mako asked over his shoulder.
“Pretty much,” Bolin said, dropping any attempt to disguise his voice. “Girl is down bad.”
“Fuck you, Bolin,” Korra laughed, cutting through any edge from her words. “Like you weren’t eye-banging me the entire time you were walking behind me.”
“So aside from ransoming me back to my daddy…what else are you two going to do to me?” Korra asked, her voice dropping to a smoky, sultry, whisper. “Been a while since I’ve had two at the same time, but I’m always up for a little double team action.”
“Monkey feathers!” Bolin exclaimed after he picked his jaw up off the floor. “Nothing, you deranged hottie! We’re kidnappers, not monsters!”
“Besides,” Mako cut in as he stuffed a rag into Korra’s mouth and tied another around her head to hold it in place, “it wouldn’t do to damage the merchandise.”
Korra let out a grunt of disappointment as she settled back in the chair. Mako made his way back to Bolin, running a hand through his hair as Bolin stared at Korra like she was going to leap out of the chair like a sabertooth moose lion.
“We are out of our depth,” Mako whispered to Bolin. Before their conversation could go any further, they turned at the sound of an engine approaching. “Watch her,” Mako said before he hurried to the window by the warehouse’s set of double doors.
A car had pulled up to the relatively deserted area of the shipping yard and five men had unloaded from its boxy carriage.
“Fuck,” Mako cursed as he recognized several faces. “Bolin, it’s the Triple Threats. I’m going to try to get them to leave.
“Wait, what do I do if-?” But Mako had already stepped outside, leaving Bolin to stare between the door and Korra. He quickly moved to Korra’s side as she mumbled through the rags.
“What?” Bolin asked softly, pulling the rag down so Korra could spit out the other one.
“What? Someone trying to hone in on your turf?” Korra asked.
“Not exactly, more like former associates paying an unfriendly visit,” Bolin said as he considered his options. He quickly set about untying Korra from the chair, but kept her arms bound behind her before he dragged her with him to listen at the doors.
“So Mushi, to what do I owe the pleasure of your visit?” they heard Mako call out as he approached the group of men.
“Word is you and that brother of yours have been seen tossing yuan around like candy,” they heard the man that must be Mushi call back. “Now I know that can’t be the case, because if you two had two coins to rub together, we’d have already collected one of them for what you owe us. So explain to me, what are you doing here and do you have anything for your dear friends in the organization?”
“I don’t have anything for you, Mushi. If we were seen spending money, it was only what we were given for the job we’re currently on. We don’t get paid properly until the job’s done and then we’ll square with you guys,” Mako said but Bolin could hear the tension in his brother’s voice and peeked out the window to see that the five men had spread out to surround Mako.
“Take this fucking blindfold off,” Korra suddenly said, making Bolin jump as all his focus had been on the situation outside. “It sounds like you two are knee deep in the shit and I need to see what we’re dealing with.”
“We’re?” Bolin asked.
“Yes, because you two chucklefucks got me into this. I’m not going to let myself be dragged off by the Triple Threats, they actually could ransom me for weapons from my daddy,” Korra said as she kept an ear towards the door.
Bolin nibbled his lip indecisively before grumbling to himself as he pulled the blindfold off Korra. She blinked several times as she gave her head a shake before looking around.
“Oh, you were not seriously considering keeping me here the whole time, right?” Korra demanded as she took in the dingy little warehouse.
“We were still getting it set up,” Bolin said defensively.
“Well, it’s no good now, unless you two are prepared to kill those five guys, and even then, someone told them where to find you, so there’ll likely be more,” Korra said as she stole a glance out the window. “Are either of you benders?”
“Mako’s a firebender and I’m an earthbender. You?” Bolin asked.
“Nope, take after my daddy like that. We’re at a bit of a disadvantage,” Korra said as she furrowed her brow. “Untie me, I got an idea.”
“Mako, Mako, Mako,” Mushi said, shaking his head disappointedly. “Taking jobs without informing us? I thought you were smarter than that. Regardless of when you get paid, we’re still owed and I’m sure whatever you and Bolin are babysitting in that warehouse has some value. We’ll help ourselves to a little as per our protection fee and be on our way. You can inform your current employer that’s the cost of doing business on our turf.”
“I don’t fucking think so!”
Everyone turned around as Korra stalked out of the warehouse, Bolin trailing behind her. Mako shot his brother an outraged look, but Bolin could only shrug apologetically as he stayed right behind Korra.
“What are you-?” Mako tried to say before Korra slapped him hard enough to make him take a step back.
“Don’t fucking talk back to your boss! Spirits, why is good help so hard to come by?” Korra growled as she continued right up to Mushi until he was forced to look down awkwardly at her.
“And who are you, missy?” Mushi asked as he snickered.
“One moment,” Korra said before she reached down and grabbed her dress near the slit. All the men’s eyes widened as she tore the dress until the slit reached her upper thigh. Korra nodded approvingly before looking back up at Mushi and then drove her knee into his crotch.
Mushi went down with a groan but Korra was far from done. She drove the heel of her palm into his large nose and as he clutched at his face and groin, she jabbed him several times with her fingers, striking nerve clusters and chi flows. Mushi froze, locked into a rigid position by Korra’s attack.
“I’m a new boss around here,” Korra called out as she turned to face the others. “And none of you have earned the privilege of knowing my name. Everything in that warehouse belongs to me and if any of you try to lay a finger on it, what I did to Mushi here will look like a walk in the park in comparison.”
The other four Triad members looked to each other before their stances shifted and they began attacking. Fortunately, with all their focus on Korra, Mako and Bolin were able to drop two of them with precise, powerful attacks that sent their targets careening backwards. That left one waterbender and a firebender attacking Korra.
Korra fell back as a wave of flame arced through the air towards her, using Mushi to support herself. She then kicked off the ground to avoid the sweeping water tendril that tried to take out her feet, further using Mushi to complete her flip. As she straightened up, she realized the feather trim of her dress hadn’t fared as well and quickly beat out the fire.
“Dammit, do you have any idea how expensive those were to import?” Korra shouted as she kicked off one of her heels into the air and grabbed it. The firebending Triad blinked in surprise as Korra hurled the shoe with incredible accuracy. He still deftly dodged but that left him open to Bolin’s attack that opened up the ground beneath him and trapped him with his hands by his head.
The crackle of electricity filled the air and the waterbender Triad dropped to the ground, smoke rising from his body. Mako panted from the effort of summoning lightning and slowly straightened up to survey the area.
“What the hell, Bolin?” Mako finally shouted as he rounded on his brother.
“It was her idea!” Bolin said, gesturing towards Korra who was ripping a piece of Mushi’s shirt off.
Korra kicked off her other heel as she made her way over to the duo. “Hey hot stuff, do me a favor and light this for me?”
Mako looked at her in confusion but the dull ache in his jaw made him hold out two fingers with a small flame dancing on them.
“Thanks,” Korra said as she held the cloth to the flames until it began to burn. “Be right back.”
The brothers watched in confusion as she sauntered over to the Triad’s car.
“What the?” Bolin cried out as Korra unscrewed the gas cap and shoved the burning rag into it. She broke into a run back towards them and Bolin was quick to stomp a protective wall into existence between them and the car before a spark reached the fuel. A whoosh of air and flames reaching high into the sky signaled the car’s combustion.
“You’re insane!” Mako as Korra slowed.
“And you’re hotter than I expected,” Korra shot back as she reached up to caress the unbruised side of his face. Mako caught her wrist to stop her but she displayed surprising strength and pulled him closer. “Also, firing up that car got me all fired up, which one of you is going to be the lucky boy to help me blow off some steam? Or are we going to make that little menage a trois idea a reality?”
“Shouldn’t we be getting out of here? These guys aren’t going to stay down forever,” Bolin said as he looked around at all the Triple Threat men.
“Not a bad point. Do you two have a second location you both know to meet up at?” Korra asked, looking between them. When Mako and Bolin nodded after sharing a look, she grabbed Bolin’s hand. “Great! We’ll split up and meet up later. See you there, Mako!”
“Wait! I didn't say where we were meeting up!” Mako shouted after them but Korra had already dragged Bolin into a run.
