Author’s note: this is after “Kur part two”, but Zak didn’t take up Argost’s offer and hasn’t told Doyle yet because of that choice. Also because I really liked what happened between Zak and Frances in “Your enemies closer” I’ve made it so that they ran into each other during “Kur part two”. The Characters and show belong to Jay Stephans.

Flashback
Zak’s pov.
“AAAAAaaaaagggggghhh” I screamed sitting up in bed. I felt my heart pounding in my chest. The nightmare still flashed in my eyes. The fire’s smoke still filled my nose, burning my scenes. My breathing slowed but the screams of my family was still ringing in my ears. “Zak run, please!” My mom screamed “Save yourself!” My dad screeched at me “ahahahahaha”. Argost’s maniac laughter sounded through my head.
“Why?” I asked myself. For three weeks I’d been having the same nightmare. It had been a week science we faced the Nagas in New York. I had decided that Argost wouldn’t be the one to help me and told him so. ‘I would figure out these powers with the help of my family, the people I trusted’. Fisk thought I did the right thing though he believed I should have told mom and dad that Argost was alive. ‘They’ll know when he comes back with that T.V. show of his’ I told him. ‘They’ve got enough to worry about.’ I stood up sighing and stretched my sore muscles. I noticed a bruise on the back of my hand. ‘I must have smacked it on the headboard or something’ I pulled on pants that were a little snug. ‘I must have grown a little’ pulling on my shirt, I headed towards the kitchen.
Deciding that waffles sounded good I let my mind drift. “I wonder where we’re hiding today” I whispered to myself then remembered that we were going to Arab today, I have no idea why. I entered the kitchen and saw dad there drinking coffee. “Hey dad, Sleep well?” “Huh? Oh yah I did, but what are you doing up its five in the morning?” “I couldn’t sleep. So I decided to get up.” It was true to a point, I would sleep well until the dream happened than I’d wake up at about five am. I put two waffles in the toaster as dad watched me carefully with worried eyes. I could feel them watching me and he knew there was something I wasn’t telling him. Turning around I saw him open his mouth but stopped as the kitchen door opened again. Mom walked in. “Good morning honey, hmm did you make coffee?” She smiled at him than noticed me and smiled bigger but I saw worry in her eyes. “Hey kiddo, you ok?” “Yah mom, I just couldn’t sleep that’s all.” “Really? Do you want to talk about it?” “No, but, thanks mom.” “Are you sure honey?” I stared at her for a second. “Ok.” She said pulling out a mug from the dishwasher. She poured herself some of the coffee and sat by dad in one of the chairs at the counter. I was leaning on the counter as an awkward silence filled the room. Mom and Dad kept glancing at me, trying to be discreet but failing at it. I couldn’t help it anymore “umm, what?” I said looking at them both. “You don’t look so good.” It was dad who said that. “I feel fine, really.” They glanced at each other then looked back at me. I sighed “if something was wrong I would tell both of you. You know that, right?” “Yes sweetie we know we’re just worried, you look sick.” I raised an eyebrow than looked around the kitchen. Finally I just looked at the toaster actually seeing my reflection. My hair was sticking everywhere I hadn’t brushed it in a while. I was slightly pale. There were light bags under my eyes and I had a neutral look on my face instead of a smile like I usually have. They we’re right I looked sick. I turned around and put small smile on my face. “I’m fine. Look I didn’t sleep well last night but that means I’ll sleep well tonight promise.” They looked convinced. POP! Until we all jumped landing in a battle stance, till we realized it was only the toaster finished with cooking my breakfast.
I went to the control room; mom and dad were doing something in the experimental weapons room, and looked around. I thought about contacting Doyle and telling him about Argost. He could help me figure out what the creep was up to, but then he would be put in some severe danger. If Argost found out I put Doyle on his tail he would most likely put Doyle in the hospital, after a good amount of torture, if he doesn’t decide to just kill him. Argost was ruthless and as much as my life might seem like a fairytale it wasn’t one. The good guy doesn’t always win. The only way they could was by making the right moves. Good vs. Evil as cheesy as that sounds was like a game of chess if only it could be as simple.
Sighing I sat down in the pilot seat and looked out the giant window. We had just stopped moving and were in a canyon in someplace I couldn’t remember. Swish. Someone had come into the control room I figured it was Fisk because the foot steps were soft but sounded heavy. Closing my eyes while placing my head in my hand I mumbled to him “Hi Fisk, what cha’ doing?” He didn’t reply. ‘That’s weird’ “Fisk?” I turned around and looked over the chair. Nothing was there, no one. ‘Komodo, maybe?’ “Komodo, you there boy?’ I didn’t hear anything not even Komodo’s breathing.
I stayed like that for awhile then sat down in the pilot seat backwards closing my eyes again and placing my forehead on the back of the chair. ‘Great, now I’m losing my mind’ I turned around and opened my eyes only to scream. In front of me was a creature I had never seen before. Its body looked like it was made out of smoke as it couldn’t hold one specific form constantly changing into the body of every animal, its head held no flesh or muscle just bone as it was the skull of what looked to be a cross between a fox and a human bone structure. Blood gushed out of its mouth and poured on me, screaming again I fell out of the seat and on to the floor landing on my back. The thing came closer to me till it was directly above me. Its body became serpent like and it reared its head back like a snake ready to strike. Curling up and closing my eyes again I brought my hands in front of my face. I didn’t scream but I knew I would when it attacked.
“ZAK!” That was my mom, I opened my eyes. Looking over I saw everyone was by the door in a defensive stance weapons ready. Looking up the creature was gone. Mom came over to me and kneeled down by head. “Zak, honey, are you ok?” “We heard you scream.” Dad said coming over to where we were stopping in front of me. I sat up “But…I thought…there was this…”My voice was high and confused. I looked at mom and dad. There was worry and concern on their faces “I’m f-fine, I think”. I was physically ok, though I was shaking and sweating. “Honey what happened, nobody screams for no reason.” “There was this thing in here.” I said looking up. “Coming down from the ceiling. It almost looked like some kind of weird cryptid.” “What do you mean honey?” “It didn’t have a real body it looked like it was made up of smoke the way it kept changing. As for the things head it was a just a skull except it didn’t look like just an animal.” Mom gave dad a look, I couldn’t tell what it meant since I couldn’t see her face but dad looked concerned.
“I know it was there, wasn’t it?” my voice lost its strength with that last part. Some part of me knew I was losing it but I didn’t want to believe it. Since all this happened I just felt like everything was spinning out of control. I heard mom and dad talking late one night about how this kind of stress wasn’t good for anyone and for someone my age it could cause the mind to collapse already in a world as crazy as ours. “Zak.” Mom said as she looked back at me. “Maybe you should go lie down.” “O-okay.” I got up and left
Drew’s Pov.
To say I was concerned was an understatement, I was slowly starting to panic as I watched my son get up and leave. I looked at my husband and he understood that I wanted him to follow me. “That creature,” Doc started as we entered the research room. “It sounds familiar. Why?” he asked. “Because it’s a nightmare cryptid, it feeds off of nightmares.” I grabbed a certain book off the shelf, it was old and red with no title. “So there’s a cryptid using our son as a snack?” He almost shouted, the anger practically dripping off him. “How’d it get in here anyway?” I looked at my husband after opening the book to the page I was looking for. I didn’t blame him for being angry, I was frustrated myself. “This cryptid is created in the dream world. They stay in your dreams feeding off it; they’re supposed to stay there too.” “Then how’d it get in to our world?” I wanted to cry, I was so scared and worried for my baby boy. I had seen the same thing when I was little, just before I had lost my parents. “The dreamer has to have a premonition of the future.”
“That’s how, the dreamer sees the future. So Zak knows something’s coming?” I shook my head. “While he doesn’t realize it yet, yes, he does.” I paused. “It’s interesting really. The dreamer will have a reoccurring dream till the cryptid is strong enough to survive on its own. Then it will force the dream into reality with it, making the dream a premonition. Usually the cryptid leaving would leave a mark on the body, like a bruise.”
Zak’s Pov.
I spent the rest of the day in the mini-gym on the airship. I know mom and dad said to lie down but every time I went to my room things would be a lot worse. I always had a nightmare in there now even if I only slept for a few minutes. I’d have visions too. Horrible visions of the future that the Nagas had shown me. So I sat in a corner at the far side of the mini-gym.
“I’m really losing my mind.” I whispered. I didn’t understand it, or anything anymore for that matter. Closing my eyes I thought back to what I told Frances in New York. “They can tell you what you are but not who you have to be!” I remembered the look that came across his face. I don’t know if it changed anything but nothing’s happened so I think its ok. I felt my breathing slow down with my heart rate. It had been hours but the mons... I mean creature had really scared me. It wasn’t a monster, yeah it was scary, but the misunderstood usually are. Beep, Swish. I heard the door open. With the light footsteps I heard claws on the ground, Komodo. Soon I heard a low amused hiss and it confirmed in my mind that it was him. Cracking my eye open I looked at my watch. 7:00. ‘it’s passed dinner and no one came and got me. Well we did have a lot of leftovers.’ Still my gut said something was wrong. I closed my eyes and leaned back on the wall causing the floor to creak. I heard the footsteps come closer. I thought nothing of it since it was Komodo. That was till the footsteps stopped right by me and a cackle come from above my head. My eyes snapped open looking up but all I saw was a black shadow on the gray back round of the mini-gym. Before I could move, his hand was on my mouth. I tried to bite it but couldn’t, it was like biting a brick. So shifting my weight as best and fast as I could I tried kicking. He moved causing me to miss and my foot made contact with the wall next to the one I had been leaning on. Something crashed with multiple loud thuds. I went to punch him with how close he was but he grabbed my fist and shoved me against the wall. Black ebbed at the edges of my vision while spots danced where I could still see. His hand moved to cover my nose with my mouth cutting off any air I could get. Placing my free hand on his arm I pulled my weight up and tried to kick him again. I missed but that was because of how dizzy I was. ‘I hadn’t eaten anything but breakfast, and hadn’t been sleeping well to begin with. This isn’t good I’ll pass out faster than usual.’ He placed his other hand on my throat cutting off even more air that I already didn’t have enough of. I felt my body slide down the wall becoming heavier. The weight of his hand was dragging me down, as I saw less and less. Finally he picked me up. My vision was fogged and I couldn’t think. I noticed faintly a breeze, but that wasn’t what I had hoped to feel. I was trying to hear something, anything. I strained myself to hear footsteps, growls, voices, something to let me know somebody was coming. I didn’t hear anything at all, keeping my eyes open I watched as we left the mini-gym. I was being carried over his shoulder now that I was close to passing out. I watched as long as I could for my parents until I passed out as we entered another airship. ‘I didn’t see them. They didn’t come to help me.’
Drew’s pov.
The voice was soft at first. Like someone was whispering it. “Mom”. I rolled over in bed. “Mom.” It was slightly louder but also muffled. I was still half asleep but I decided I would answer. “Hmm, Zak?” I wasn’t sure who it was but it was one of my boys. “MOM”! I shot up in bed from the urgency in the voice that I now realized was too deep to belong to Zak. “Yes, Fisk, what is it?” I said startled from his tone of voice and just waking up. “There’s a hole in the wall a across from the mini-gym” AN-I haven’t watched Secret Saturdays enough to know how Fisk talks. I used to but it’s been awhile. So for now he’ll talk like everyone else. “What!” I shouted getting out of bed. “Doc! Fisk go find Doc and bring him there. Ok?” He grunted nodding his head and running off to find my husband. I quickly got dressed and ran down the hall towards the mini-gym my fear making me run faster. I stopped in front of the gaping hole in the wall that leads to the outside. ‘How did we sleep through this?’ I thought to myself brushing a hand through my hair. I heard footsteps running down the hall and saw Doc run in with Fisk and Komodo right behind him. I looked back at the wall taking in everything I could see. The edges were black as if they had been burned. The ground had debris though hardly any, it was mostly dust. There was a small touch of sulfur in the air. “What happened, Drew?” “I don’t know. Not the slightest idea I just woke up, Fisk was the one who found it.” Doc turned to look at Fisk. I suddenly got a sinking feeling in my stomach. ‘Something’s not right. Not just this hole’. The thought crossed my mind as I looked around. My eyes landed on everything stopping for mere moments. ‘Komodo’s here, Fisk’s here, Doc’s here. What is it?’ That’s when it hit me. ‘Zak!’ “Doc honey, where’s Zak!” I shouted. The look on his face slowly changed from curiosity to worry and horror mixed as one. Immediately we took off down the hall to his room. We rushed in not even knocking on his door and at the same time we spoke. “Zak?” We looked around his room he wasn’t there. “We’re else would he be?” Asked Doc. “The kitchen?” I asked about to leave. “No I was just there. Maybe he’s in the control room?” I could tell he wasn’t sure, but we left anyway heading into the direction of the control room.
We entered and the room was as empty as Zak’s bedroom. “Zak?” I called becoming more worried with each passing moment. “He’s not here, but we can check the security system and see where he is on the ship.” Doc spoke as he went to the pilot’s seat and started typing away on the keypad. My nerves where on end as I waited to for Doc to finish. Something wasn’t right and the feeling grew with each tap of the keypad. “That can’t be.” Doc’s voice called when stopped typing after a few minutes. “What? What can’t be right?” I called coming over to the computer to see what he was looking at. “I looked at all the video feeds and not one is showing Zak.” He put all the feeds on the larger screen. “He isn’t anywhere on the airship.” “Ok. Doc rewind the recordings see what happened and run a diagnostic, There is no way we slept through an explosion if there was one on our own.” “Where are you going?” “I’m going to check up on that hole to see if there was something we missed at first glance.”
I walked down the hall finally seeing what I was looking for. The hole was taller than me by an inch. I turned around looking at the rest of the hall. The walls were just fine, only small bits of dust stuck to them. The only thing damaged was the door to the mini-gym. Wide, deep scratches covered the front of the door as if someone had tried to pry it open instead of using the keypad. I opened the door and walked into the room. It looked to be fine except for the far corner on the other side, some boxes had been knocked over, one had split in half. I walked over examining it and the other surroundings. There was also two claw marks on the wall next to a small dent that had a little bit of dried blood at the center and had started to drip down word. ‘There was definitely a fight but with who and who won.’ I collected some of the blood and ran it in the DNA scanner. The intercom came on with the sound of Doc’s voice. “Honey I just checked the security recordings! You need to come and see this, NOW!” I ran out of the room as fast as I could.
Zak’s pov.
The first thing I noticed when I woke up was the pounding in my head. As if I had been wacked in the head with a metal baseball bat. The second thing I noticed was how the floor was uneven. It was ruff and crumbling with age and though it was hard I realized it was soaked with something, like a small flood came through the room. I went to sit up but stopped when a sharp pain shot through my ribs. Taking a deep breath I tried sitting up again, managing to lean up against the wall in the cell I was in. ‘where am I now’? Looking around the room I saw it was a medieval dungeon with chains on the wall. In the center of the room was a stone table in the shape of an oval with a full base that had circles hollowing it out. Hanging from the table were restraints. It reminded me of a sacrificial altar. My head was still pounding so I closed my eyes and rested my head against the wall that was supporting me. I let out a sigh of relief then chuckled. ‘I wake up in a dungeon and I’m relieved. I guess it’s better than being kidnapped by the secret scientists.’ Something squeaked figuring it was a mouse I ignored it. “You’re awake sooner than I thought.” My eyes snapped open as I stared at the maniac in front of me. ‘I’ve gotta quit assuming about what’s there when I’m not looking at it.’ I scolded myself in my mind. “What do you want Argost?” it came out as a growl. He snickered “Dear boy I thought you would know. I want what I’ve always wanted along with something new. I want the power of Kur always have, but now I also want revenge on your treacherous family for keeping from me what I so rightfully deserve.” I glared at him. “You think I wanted this to happen. You think I wanted to be Kur. I’m supposed to be the good guy. I guess you’re stupider than I gave you credit for.” His eyes narrowed at me. “It doesn’t matter if you wanted it to happen or not. For years your family has tried to keep Kur away from me.” He tucked his hand into his cloak. “And if they believe for one second that just because Kur is their child that I won’t take him away they are dead wrong.” He brought out what looked like a bead and broke it with his fingers. Smoke poured out of the capsule, the dense air falling toward me. Argost began to chuckle. “What’s so funny Argost?” ”Nothing that would be amusing to you.” My vision began to blur again, soon I fell asleep.
Doc’s pov.
It took all I had to not punch the screen in front of me. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Someone one had messed with the systems security feeds to try and cover something up, more precisely, try and cover up the kidnapping of my son. I was able to get some of the video back but not enough to see who had taken him. Drew was watching the recording, I could tell she wanted to destroy the computer like I had wanted to do, but she kept herself under control. It was much harder not to break something when we learned the blood on the wall was his.
The video its self wasn’t much, mostly static with bits of different scenes that displayed Zak trying to fight his attacker. Our son would never go down without a fight, even if he was in no condition to do so. “So, what do we do now?” Fisk voiced. He had been standing behind Drew watching the video from over her shoulder. I looked up as Drew began to speak. “We bust down the doors of all our enemies till we find who took him. Then we bring him home.” The plan was rash but I found myself agreeing with her. I wanted our son back safe and sound. “We’ll start with the Secret Scientists.” “The Scientist? Why Them?” Drew questioned. “We haven’t seen them for some time now. Also, even though stealth isn’t there thing, doesn’t mean they won’t switch tactics.” “Point taken, I’ll track them down then we’ll nock some heads.”
Drew’s pov
The HQ we had tracked the Scientists to belongs to Dr. Bera. His home had been close to our hid out. We were ready, pulling out my fire sword we burst through his doors on the top level where they were all gathered. We hadn’t bothered with a sneak attack. If they had taken my son, they would know that we were coming. The smoke cleared and I heard someone yelp. I didn’t care. “WHERE IS MY SON?!” I yelled. I knew what they were planning to do to him if they caught him. I wouldn’t let them freeze my baby boy. “What are you talking about?” It was Dr. Bera that spoke. He was picking himself off the floor and coughed as he inhaled the dust. “If we had Spiky Locks with us we’d be in a different base.” Dr. Beaman stated from a corner brushing off his pants. “Liar!” I shouted. “Where is he?” Doc growled from my right, his power glove glowing with electricity. “They’re telling the truth.” The voice belonged to Frances. He and his father Epsilon were by another door. “Why should we believe you? The both of you have lied to us and used us to get what you wanted. Why are you here anyway shouldn’t you be out doing dirty work for your people?” I asked. “Just visiting.” Said Epsilon. I didn’t believe him for a second. “Yeah right, I bet your trying to get my son from them. You want to use him don’t you, For what an experiment, or maybe a weapon like you tried to do with the atmosphere jellyfish?” I was almost shouting I was so angry. “Drew.” Doc spoke by my side. “I think they’re telling the truth.” I looked at him; he was looking at komodo who had placed his claws over his snout. “Damn it.” I cursed looking down. “Drew what happened?” Miranda asked. “Zak was kidnapped. We don’t know who but we’re busting down doors till we find him.” I spoke.
We had helped the Scientists’ put the room back together. They were chasing us but they used to be our friends. “So what happened exactly?” It was Frances who had asked and for a moment he sounded sincere. “I remember going to bed early while Doc was working in the experimental weapons vault. We were working on things to help us protect Zak. I went to bed thinking he was in his room asleep.” “Yeah a 12 year old just goes to bed early. Salt and pepper was planning something in my opinion.” Beaman interrupted. “No one asked what you thought Arthur, and so you know he hadn’t been sleeping well for weeks. He never said it but he was having horrible nightmares. He’d wake up practically screaming bloody murder.” He just looked away. “When I woke up it was because Fisk came and got me. He had discovered a hole in the airship by the mini gym. It looked like the hole was burned through not an explosion more like acid burn.” I finished. “Well we understand why you thought it was us, but, we don’t have a type of acid that could do that.” Miranda said. “Make a list of your enemies that would have that stuff.” Doc spoke up. “The only person I know of that’s not a Secret Scientist who could possibly have that is Argost, but he’s supposedly dead.” “Oh No.” Fisk growled. “What is it Fisk?” asked Frances. “Zak asked me not to tell you guys because you had enough to worry about, but he saw Argost in New York when the Nagas attacked.” Fisk said. “What?!” Doc shouted. “Then we know who has him.” Spoke Miranda. “The question now is where’s Argost keeping him?” “We’ll check Weird World and contact Doyle he might know some of Argost’s other hiding places.” I said “Is there anything we can do to help?” I looked at Dr. Bera “Why?” I asked. “I know right now we don’t seem trust worthy. But we all know what Argost is capable of, I wouldn’t wish that on anyone, please let me help, and I swear I’m done trying to capture him and take him from you.” I looked over her shoulder at Beaman. He spoke up “If your son steps wrong he’ll be on ice before he can say Kur. But I’ll give him benefit of the doubt.” I smiled and looked at Doc who placed his hand on my shoulder. “We’ll keep you updated.” “Come along Frances” said Epsilon. “One second” Frances ran over to us. “Good luck, I’ll do what I can but I don’t know how much that will be.” With that they Left. “Let’s go get our son back” I said to Doc.
Zak’s pov.
I woke up dizzy and it felt like the room was spinning. I blinked a couple of times trying to focus, after awhile it worked. I stared up at the dark ceiling then tried to rub my hand across my face only it was pinned to my side. I looked at my arms seeing that thick metal bands held them down at the wrist. I could only assume the same for my feet when I was unable to lift them. Another bar was wrapped over my chest keeping me on the table. Looking around I noticed I was still in the same cell as before. ‘Now what’ I thought.
“You’re awake ahead of schedule again but that just means we can start sooner.” Argost spoke. He was standing at the head of the table and I had to strain my neck to see him. I just glared at him. “Oh, now what’s with that face? Don’t you still like Uncle Argost.” “Not in the slightest.” I growled at him. “Good, because when I’m done you’ll hate everybody.” He said, his voice was like slime. I couldn’t help but shiver. “Cold dear boy? Not for much longer.” He said turning around. “What are you doing Argost?” I shouted. “Getting my revenge, as well as gaining some knowledge.”He turned around holding a needle filled with a black liquid. “What are you talking about now creep?” He smiled. “If all goes in my favor child, you will have been tortured, be under my control, and I will have brought back an extinct cryptid.” I was confused. Then I was scared as he brought the needle to my neck. I tried to move but couldn’t get away from it. “The less you resist child, the less it will hurt.” I felt the pinch in my neck, soon followed by a burning sensation that spread everywhere from my neck. The burning became more intense till it became white hot pain everywhere. It felt like I was standing in the sun it hurt so much. The pain took over my senses. My vision went black, I couldn’t hear anything. All I knew was the searing pain that was everywhere in my body. I knew I had to be screaming but I couldn’t tell if I was. I just wanted it to end it and soon. Anymore and I thought my skull would split in half.
It felt like forever but the sensation soon died down. It didn’t go away but it wasn’t as intense as before. “Again you surprise me. I thought it would take longer for the two bloods to mix.” I could barely open my eyes to look at him. “What…What do you mean?” “Nothing that concerns you child.” He spat. He turned around again and came up to me with a long strip of curved metal. My vision was blurry and I couldn’t tell how big the metal really was. He placed it over my mouth and I felt him tilt my head away from him, as he was now on what I thought was my left side. I felt him fiddle with the metal at the back of my head. It was loose but I heard him mumble words in a dead language and the metal tightened around my head making it so I couldn’t speak. “Very well child.” He said as he picked up a small knife that looked like a scalpel. “I’m going to see what the injection did to you, and just hope that it’s going according to my plans.” He brought the knife up to my face and placed it under my left eye. I felt it puncture my skin and cut open my cheek as he dragged it down words. I whimpered but the pain wasn’t as bad as the burning sensation I was still feeling all over. Soon he did the same under my right eye, the whole time he smiled coldly.
Doyle’s pov.
It had been three days since Drew called me telling me that Mini Man had been kidnapped. I was now sitting in the airship after ditching Van Rook. We went separate ways after thinking we had learned Argost was dead. I had come back almost immediately after learning my nephew had been taken. Once I got back we stormed Weird World again, but it was as empty as the last time I went there. We had been searching everywhere since then.
Beep, beep, beep! The video phone in the control room rang walking in I saw everyone there. It wasn’t a happy sight. My sis looked down right miserable. Her hair was slightly messy, her eyes were red from crying and she was starting to get bags under her eyes. Komodo was scratching at the walls and chewing a vent cover he had managed to rip off. Gorilla was fidgeting and constantly squeezing Komodo’s squeaky toy like a stress ball. The Professor was no better than my sister only with darker bags under his eyes. “Doc, answer.” He said to the video phone. Dr. Cheechoo was at the other end. “Hey, Doc.” He said not really sure how things were. He was one of the few scientists that didn’t want to capture Zak. “Hey Paul, What news do you have.” “Unfortunately nothing on your son, but the other scientists are finishing your house for when you find him, it’ll be done tomorrow.” “That’s better than nothing, thanks Paul.” “Welcome, and good luck.” With that the screen turned black and the room was silent. We were losing hope and I knew it. I didn’t want to give up on Mini Man but we had looked almost everywhere and couldn’t find him. ‘Where are you kiddo?’ I thought to myself
