Chapter 1 - Saved By The Vampire
Princess Bubblegum slid the lid of the clear glass container she had been holding to take a few samples of some unique berries she had heard about in Stock Woods. She heard a voice from behind her slowly call out in a deep frightful voice “Princess Bubblegum”. She quickly turned around “who's there” she yelled in a demanding high pitched squeal with her hands on her hips. The voice replied back “An old friend of your feeble minded little Finn” Bubblegum could tell she was being mocked, “Show yourself now I demand it”!
The creature slowly stepped out from behind the tree's, the first thing she saw was the being's bright yellow eyes, as the rest of the creature revealed itself she could see that it was a large cat looking creature, it took Bubblegum a moment to realize, but it was The Demon Cat, she had read about him in her books while researching and Finn had an encounter with it a while back, though he looked quite different without the purple tentacles protruding from his body.
She started to back away whilst still examining the creature for scientific purposes until his claws came out from underneath his paws and the tentacles started to slide out from all sides of his body. She dropped the glass jar as it shattered beneath the grassy ground and she ran for her life in the opposite direction, she tried her best to hold her dress from touching the ground to ensure she would not trip but that was the least of her worries, the Demon Cat was gaining on her and she had no where to go.
Then out of no where a girl with light Bluish Grey skin and raven black hair was standing a mere six feet away from her. She ran to the girl screaming for help. The girl stood there staring until Bubblegum ran straight into her knocking her down and landing right on to of her.
About ten seconds later Bubblegum shook her her head and opened her eyes, she started yelling that there was something after her and she tried to get off of Marceline to run but as she tried to do so she soon realized she was in mid air. She clung onto the girl as tight as she could to prevent herself from falling. “So, aren't you the princess? How honored I must be to dangle you in the air over a demon cat” she laughed. Bubblegum stayed holding on to the girl as tight as possible. “Is it gone yet”? She quickly asked as she did not like heights very much. “No babe looks like he's going to be down there for a while might as well make yourself comfortable, by the way the names Marceline”.
“It's an honor to meet you Marceline and I must thank you for saving me from that wild beast”. Bubblegum realized she has her face buried in Marceline's chest, she must have done it to look away from the best but hadn't noticed what she was doing, she lifted her head up and blushed “my bad I didn't..”. Marceline cut her off “it's fine you can put your face back there if you'd like, doesn't bother me” Bubblegum was offended by the reply and answered her back as politely as she could, “I would prefer that I did not”.
Marceline rolled her eyes and twisted over in the air so that she was on top of Bubblegum, she screamed and held on tighter to Marceline and shoved her face back where it had been when they first floated into the sky. “Flip me back over!” she screamed. “Okay okay I'm sorry, oh by the way we don't have to stay here if you like because I can fly wherever I please.” Bubblegum’s face turned bright red with anger “YOU MEAN THIS WHOLE TIME WE COULD HAVE JUST LEFT?” “Calm down toots maybe I just forgot for a second because of these lovely curves you have”. She slid her arms to Bubblegum's sides. “I'm sorry, thank you for the compliment but I would like you to take your hand off of me please” she looked to the side. “But love, I have to hold you if you want me to fly you back to safety unless you would prefer me to hold you somewhere else” Marceline slid her hands down further and cupped Bubblegum’s ass. The princess blushed and after a split second told her to stop. Marceline smiled and before they knew it they were back at Princess Bubblegum's castle in Candy Kingdom. Marceline slowly lowered her and Bubblegum to the ground and then let her go. “Well, here you are Bonnibel”. The princess had a confused look on her face “not many people call me Bonnibel” Marceline put her arm on her side, “am I not aloud to call you that?” she asked. “No no no, it's fine, just...new to me.” Marceline shook her head “Okay Bonnie sounds good to me”.
Bubblegum blushed for the second time and then smiled. “You have a very beautiful smile Bonnie”. “Why thank you..” she paused for a moment before finishing her sentence as she thought of a nickname for Marceline “Marci, and thank you for saving me from that creature”. Marceline walked a little closer to Bonnie “no problem babes anytime, just give me a call if you need me”. Princess Bubblegum leaned forward “see you later Marci” she blushed then quickly kissed her on the cheek before hurrying into her castle so Marceline wouldn't see her blushing which was already to late.
