His DNA is now locked to Ben. If he goes to far away from Ben his body will be racked with pain until he passes out. Also if Ben dies so will he. Chapter 1 The Punishment After the battle with Vilgax, Albedo had been arrested and was going to be taken away. "Well I hope you learned your lesson Albedo, trusting Vilgax what were you thinking…?" "I've had enough, just take me to my prison cell…" "Oh no…" Azmath said appearing before the group. "Not this time Albedo, I have decided the perfect punishment for you." Azmath pressed a few things on the Ultimatrix. It flashed and scanned Albedo. DNA locked –Albedo "Azmath what did you do?" Ben asked and Albedo looked at him. "You have been the only one who has been able to handle Albedo, so I see it safest to leave him here with you." "Have you lost your mind he'll kill Ben the moment he can…" Kevin said angrily. "No he can't cause now should Ben Tennyson die so will he…" Everyone stared at the small alien in shock. "WHAT?" "The DNA lock is a special feature made into the Omnitrix for rare circumstances. Albedo has been locked to the current wielder of the Omnitrix Ben Tennyson, and should he go too far from him or should Ben Tennyson lose his life Albedo will lose his and suffer." Albedo collapsed to his knees. "Azmath you can't do this…" Ben spoke and everyone turned to him in shock. "All he wants is to go back to his original form…" Ben moved over to Albedo and helped him up. "Can't you just make it so the Omnitrix can revert him to normal." "His actions deserve no such action…" Albedo looked at Ben. 'After everything I've done he's still willing to help me…' His heartbeat quickened. 'Why is he so…?' "I will accept this punishment and remain in this form." Albedo said and looked at Ben. Kevin saw something in Albedo's eyes as he looked at Ben and he didn't like it. "He is your responsibility now, I want you to keep him out of trouble…" Azmath warned and quickly vanished along with the plumbers. "Well better go let mom know we are going to have a new house guest." "I think this is a bad idea…" Kevin said stepping between Ben and Albedo. "It will be fine…" Ben said with a smile. "No it won't I don't trust this guy…" "People can change Kevin you did…" Kevin couldn't argue with that, though he still had an odd feeling with Albedo around. 'Just relax he can't harm Ben without consequences…' He looked at Albedo and saw him staring at Ben. His heart clenched. Kevin didn't know what the feeling was, and Albedo was having his own strange set of feelings. Ben was oblivious to the two. They all moved to Kevin's car. "Hold it he's not riding in my car…" Kevin said pointing at Albedo. "What's your problem Levin…?" Albedo snapped. "I don't want you in my car…" "Kevin…" Gwen and Ben chimed together. "Fine…" Albedo snapped and started walking away. Ben gave a disappointed look at Kevin before following Albedo. Gwen gave a dark look at Kevin. "Kevin Ethan Levin what has gotten into you?" Kevin ignored her and got into his car. He drove off leaving Gwen to find her own way home. "What it wrong with me?" Kevin asked looking at Ben one last time in his mirror. Gwen used a spell to get home planning to have a long talk with Kevin the next time she saw him. —-With Albedo and Ben— "Albedo hey Albedo…." "What?" "Come on let's just get out of here I'll transform and take us home…" "Actually I…" Albedo said and his stomach growled. "Oh I got it how about a double order of chili fries?" "Yes please…" Albedo saying his eyes sparkling. "JETRAY!" Ben said hitting the watch and changing in a flash of green light. Ben scooped Albedo up and the two took off.
