Goliath wasn't quite sure what to make of the scene that was below him. Earlier that evening, he had spotted Thailog, and taken after him, being careful not to be seen in the hopes that he could find out what his errant clone was up to. Instead, Goliath had found Thailog circling a young human woman, who held him at bay with a gun pointed steadily at his chest. Suddenly, Thailog rushed forard and grabbed the woman's wrists, spreading them apart and pulling her close. She dropped the gun and he began to speak.

"Haben Sie verpasste mir, meine kleine Schönheit?" The woman shook her head and glared at him before replying.

"Nr. Weder Sie noch Ihre Sehschwächen."

"Hahahaha! Hat nicht jemand gesagt, dass Schönheit im Auge des Betrachters?" The dark skinned gargoyle merely laughed.

"In der Tat, ich habe gesagt, dass. Aber ich habe auch gesehen, Ihre Idee der Schönheit, und ich sehe nichts, wie es." Was her retort.

"Vielleicht ist meine Vorstellung von Schönheit hat sich geändert." He countered, smirking.

"Uh-huh. Nun, warum auf der Erde, wäre es so drastisch ändern?" Her reply showed her skepticism of whatever he had said beautifully.

"Stranger Dinge, die geschehen ist, als wenn man in der Liebe." His voice softened into a purr.

"Denn sie haben. Aber der Himmel wird rosa mit Neon-grün-Spots, bevor ich glaube, Sie sind in der Liebe mit mir." Both the woman's voice and demeanor remained cold, and hard.

"Oh, aber ich liebe dich. Mit ganzem Herzen und Seele. Und Sie werden mir." He clutched her close and leaned down slightly.

Hissing, she leaned up and practically spat in his face. "In Ihrer Träume und nur in Ihren Träumen Sie verdammt Ärger."

"Heh. Wir werden sehen, meine Liebe." He chuckled his own response. Enraged, the woman shrieked and struggled violently against Thailog, who chuckled again, before gently setting her down and leaping into a tree before taking off. Goliath growled lightly before jumping out of his own tree and landing in front of the human woman. She yelped and crawled backward until he stalked forwar and lifted her up by the front of her shirt.

"Who are you and why were you speaking with Thailog? Answer me!" He raised his voice and growled at her. She was remarkably composed for someone who was in such a precarious position.

"My name is Roxanne Williams, and I assure you, I was not speaking to that fucking shithead of my own choice. Might I ask whom you are?"

"Grrr, I am Goliath." The gargoyle growled lowering her until her feet touched the ground and releasing her.

"Well Goliath, if you are Thailog's enemy, then I certainly hope we can be friends." Roxanne smiled up at him. She seemed about to continue when a winged shadow passed over them. Looking up, Goliath gaped when he saw a dark blue-skinned gargoyle land. He was roughly as tall as Goliath, but much slimmer, and he had a beak similiar to Brooklyn's though his hair was a light, dusty brown. He growled menacingly at Golath for a moment until Roxanne laughed and ran up to him.

"Wyvern! I'm so glad you're here!"

I know this was mostly dialogu and I'm sorry about that, but this is the prologue. The other chapters will get much, much more action. But could someone please help me? Some of the translations to the german Thailog and Roxanne were speaking are either dead-on or very close, but some, not so much. The english is what the german is supposed to mean but if anyone knows the correct translations, then please let me know. I would be very grateful to you!

Thailog:Haben Sie verpasste mir, meine kleine Schönheit? - Have you missed me, my little beauty?

Roxanne:Nr. Weder Sie noch Ihre Sehschwächen. - No. Neither you, nor your poor eyesight.

T:Hahahaha! Hat nicht jemand gesagt, dass Schönheit im Auge des Betrachters? - Hahahaha! Hasn't anyone told you that beauty is in the eye of the beholder?

R:In der Tat, ich habe gesagt, dass. Aber ich habe auch gesehen, Ihre Idee der Schönheit, und ich sehe nichts, wie es.- As a matter of fact, I have been told that. However, I've also seen your idea of beauty, and I look nothing like it.

T: Vielleicht ist meine Vorstellung von Schönheit hat sich geändert.-Perhaps, my idea of beauty has changed.

R:Uh-huh. Nun, warum auf der Erde, wäre es so drastisch ändern?- Uh-huh. Now why on earth, would it change so drastically?

T:Stranger Dinge, die geschehen ist, als wenn man in der Liebe.- Stranger things than that have happened when one is in love.

R:Denn sie haben. Aber der Himmel wird rosa mit Neon-grün-Spots, bevor ich glaube, Sie sind in der Liebe mit mir. - Indeed they have. But the sky will turn hot pink with neon green spots before I believe you are in love with me.

T:Oh, aber ich liebe dich. Mit ganzem Herzen und Seele. Und Sie werden mir.- Oh but I do love you. With all my heart and soul. And you will be mine.

R:In Ihrer Träume und nur in Ihren Träumen Sie verdammt Ärger.- In your dreams and only in your dreams, you damned annoyance.

T:Heh. Wir werden sehen, meine Liebe.- Heh, we will see, my love.
