AUTHOR’S NOTES: This is based on Baltor’s brief conversation with Cloud Tower’s Headmistress Griffin when she was imprisoned by him and the Trix in Cloud Tower around the middle of Season 3, it takes place some 15 years prior to Season 1.
As usual all participants are very OOC.

The two women watched in silence as the portal on the planet Tides opened up and the ice capsule disappeared into it. The portal led to the Omega Dimension, the codename for an outlying solar system that was used as a prison for the Realm’s most dangerous criminals. The capsule contained one prisoner, probably the most dangerous who ever existed.
As the capsule disappeared from view the two women looked at one another. One was a short, brown-eyed blonde. She had medium-length curly hair set up in a bun on either side of her head and a very voluptuous figure. She was dressed in a white and blue dress, a tight belt and knee-high boots. She wore no makeup, only round glasses and large hoop earrings but was very beautiful even without it.
The other was almost her complete opposite. She was tall and waif-like with long purple hair with two strands dyed bright pink framing the sides of her face. She was dressed in a long, dark blue dress slit up the sides that hugged her figure while allowing ample glimpses of her long, luscious legs. A tight belt pinched her hourglass figure. Her arms were covered with long sleeves that left her hands and shoulders bare and she wore rectangular, steel-rimmed glasses that framed her bright golden eyes. She wore very little makeup, not surprisingly this only enhanced her already considerable charms.
“Stars, I need a drink”, the purple-haired woman said.
“No arguments here”, said the blonde. “I’m buying.”
The pair teleported off Tides and ended up in an out-of-the-way tavern on the far outskirts of Magix. They received more than a few leers from the male population but quickly found a table in a dark corner where they could be alone. They were there for hours; two bottles were already empty and they were busy on a third.
“It’s been a long time since we’ve seen each other, not since school. You know, I don’t even know your full name, fairy”, the purple-haired woman told the blonde.
“It’s Maybelle, Maybelle Faragonda. And yours, witch?”
“Auralee Griffin, better known as Trixie.”
“I never understood witch nicknames. Why Trixie?”
“Would you expect an enchantress to be such a powerful witch?”
“No.”
“Nobody does. It tricks them, hence ‘Trixie’. And I need to know. Why did you rescue me from Baltor and the Coven in the first place?”
“Because I knew you had finally realized the truth of your situation. I convinced Oritel and Meriam to vouch for you and that was good enough for Saladin. I really wonder what happened to them, though. Maybe we should have questioned Baltor before we shipped him off.”
“No, he was unconscious and it was better he remained that way. Awakened he would have attacked all of us again. And without Oritel and Meriam I doubt we could have stopped him.”
“I hope they’re ok.”
“Knowing Baltor he didn’t kill them. Probably teleported them somewhere where escape will be difficult if not impossible. ‘More fun that way’, he used to say. By the way, any word on Saladin?”
“Yes, he’s ok but still searching for Oritel and Meriam. I hope he can find some trace of them.”
*Not much chance of that*, the purple-haired woman thought.
There was a long silence, then the blonde spoke again. “You helped us defeat Baltor. Thank you for that.”
“None needed. I did what was necessary. As I told you after you rescued me, Baltor was too dangerous to exist; he had to be stopped. I had hoped the Coven would come to the same conclusion but they were as power-mad as he was.”
“And so they were going to destroy you…”
“Yes. I had to leave, the Coven and Baltor were totally out of control. They weren’t content simply on conquering worlds, they wanted to destroy them. You saw what they did to Sparx. And that can’t be allowed to happen. Good and Evil coexist, each needs the other to define it. Baltor was too evil and the Coven only encouraged him…”
“So you left Baltor and the Coven and jointed The Company of Light…”
“You seemed to have the best chance of defeating them…”
“You don’t have to answer this, but why couldn’t you control him? You’re an enchantress and an extremely powerful witch as well. I’m surprised you didn’t have him wrapped around your little finger.”
“Any normal man I would have. But Baltor isn’t a man, he’s a construct using the dark part of the Dragonfire. He was totally unaffected by my charms. Quite the contrary, I found myself falling under his spell. I had to leave while I still could.”
Trixie Griffin’s head fell down, Maybelle thought she heard a sob come from the enchantress. “Trixie, are you ok?”
“No. I gave up everything when I joined you. I don’t know what I’m going to do now. I can’t go back to the Coven and I can’t stay here.”
Maybelle thought for a few seconds. “Griffy”, she said, not liking the name ‘Trixie’ (and she had always called her rival ‘Griffy’ anyway), “come with me. We can talk some more and maybe we can get your head together.”
The purple-haired woman looked up, tears running down her cheeks. She smiled at the blonde and nodded. Maybelle came around the table and helped Griffin to her feet. The two staggered to the door.
A couple of local toughs got up and blocked the exit. “You broads is comin’ wid us tonite,” one of them growled. Maybelle just waved her hand and the pair went down screaming, holding their crotches. “Anybody else?”, Maybelle said to the rest of the tavern’s clientele. Nobody moved and the pair exited.
Once outside Maybelle waved her hand and opened another portal. The two walked through it and disappeared from sight.
*=*=*
This portal led to Maybelle’s apartment, a small one-bedroom in Magix. It hadn’t been occupied for awhile as she had been on Sparx fighting Baltor and the Coven with The Company of Light the last few months.
Maybelle took Trixie over to the couch and helped her sit down. “Would you like some coffee?”, the fairy asked.
“Please, my head is spinning”, the enchantress said.
Maybelle went to the kitchen, hoping there was still some coffee left. There was and she started a pot, now hoping it was still drinkable. She hadn’t been here for months; there was dust and cobwebs everywhere.
When the coffee was finished she brought out two large mugs and filled them. Going back into the living room she handed one to the purple-haired enchantress. Maybelle sat down and just watched as the beautiful witch slowly drank the strong brew. She thought back on their time at school; she at the Alfea School for Fairies and Griffin at the Cloud Tower School for Witches. They’d had quite a rivalry, even dating the same boy at one point. Of course neither of them knew about the other until Eldric’s luck finally ran out. He had been calling on Maybelle when Griffin and a few other witches raided Alfea. Griffin had seen the pair kissing and later confronted the fairy. They’d almost fought at first but the fight turned into a shouting match. Then when they realized he’d been two-timing them both they got angry. *Smart move, Eldric, pissing off both a fairy and a witch*, the fairy thought. When the pair confronted him he just laughed them off. Getting even madder, they argued about what to do. Griffin wanted to change Eldric into a worm, she had wanted a pig. In the end they compromised and changed him into a goat. *Never did find out if he ever got changed back*, the fairy chuckled to herself.
They’d actually become almost friends after that, their rivalry taking on a more friendly and competitive tone. *Deep down we respected each other*, Maybelle thought, *even though I never agreed with her moral compass.*
Then Griffin joined the Ancient Coven. Maybelle was shocked by that, wondering why an enchantress would do such a thing. Rumors that a very powerful witch and warlock were working for the Coven soon proved to be true, although Maybelle never thought Griffin would be that witch. *Ye Gods, she’s more powerful than I ever imagined. Even with my Enchantix I would have had trouble beating her in a fight. I’m glad it never came to that.*
She thought back to just a few months ago. She had been startled to receive a mental communication from none other than Griffin, her old rival. And what she heard was chilling. The Coven and Baltor had attacked Sparx in an attempt to seize the Dragonfire. However, Oritel and Meriem managed to get their infant daughter Bloom to safety. Enraged, the Coven and Baltor completely covered the planet in ice.
Griffin had been present, but had simply stood by in total shock as she watched an entire planet die. She knew she couldn’t be part of such evil. And so she contacted her old rival, Maybelle Faragonda. She wanted to defect.
They had exchanged a few more messages but the Coven forced the issue. Griffin refused to be a part of such evil and was about to be destroyed. Griffin managed to get out a distress call. Maybelle never hesitated but used her Enchantix to transport Griffin to Alfea, figuring it was the safest place to be until she had a chance to recharge her Enchantix.
When Griffin arrived she walked over to the purple-clad girl to ask some questions. “Do you mind explaining what’s going on?”, she demanded.
“They were going to kill me”, the enchantress explained matter-of-factly.
You could have knocked Faragonda down with a puff of smoke at that statement. After a long period of silence she asked, “why?”
Griffin sighed. This wasn’t going to be easy. “The Coven and Baltor forced the issue. Destroy planets or die.”
What happened next took Maybelle Faragonda by surprise. Griffin, the powerful enchantress who had bedeviled her all through school and now was working for the ancient Coven together with the most powerful wizard who ever existed, seemed to totally fall apart. Her head fell into her hands, loud sobs coming from her. Maybelle quickly sat beside her, cradling the witch in her arms as the purple-haired woman’s body shook with each sob.
They sat there for a long time, just holding one another. Finally the enchantress seemed to calm down and Faragonda decided to continue the questioning.
It took awhile, but the story came out. Griffin hadn’t participated in the destruction of Sparx, but had been totally appalled by what she saw. She realized she couldn’t go along with such plans. She decided to defect but was trapped before she could leave. Only Faragonda’s quick action had saved her.
Faragonda thought for awhile, then made a decision. She knew Griffin well enough that this was no trap, she was honest in her decision to leave the Coven and Baltor. The fairy took the enchantress to Oritel and Meriam and presented her to them, stating her belief in the enchantress’ intentions and asking she be allowed to assist them. Oritel and Miriam decided to form the Company of Light. The Royal Couple of Sparx, knowing the witch had knowledge and powers that would be invaluable in helping defeat the Coven, agreed; although they put Faragonda in charge of seeing sure Griffin stayed in line. And the fairy said nothing to anyone about Griffin’s state-of-mind after her rescue of the enchantress, allowing Griffin to save face. The witch was grateful for that and had promised herself to repay the fairy for her kindness at a later date.
Both Maybelle and Auralee were relieved when Baltor had been teleported to the Omega Dimension. Griffin knew that would hold him forever.
The coffee had helped Griffin’s head. Both she and Maybelle were weak after the tremendous fight with Baltor, almost 10 hours and two teleports later each was still drained of magic. Both were on an adrenaline rush, tired but unable to sleep or even remain still for long. And the coffee they’d just drank made things that much worse. Faragonda was sitting next to Griffin on the apartment’s couch, Griffin had an intense look on her face.
“What’s on your mind, Griffy?”, Maybelle asked.
“Remembering a promise to myself. I guess now’s as good a time as any to keep it.”
Maybelle Faragonda’s eyes opened wide in shock as the beautiful enchantress sitting next to her leaned over, put her arms around the blonde fairy’s neck and kissed her deeply.
When the purple-haired woman broke the kiss Maybelle asked, “what was that for?”
“A number of things. You rescuing me, your belief in me when you spoke to the Council, your remaining silent about my rescue…”
“A simple ‘thank you’ would have sufficed.”
“No, it wouldn’t. And I’m not done thanking you yet.”
Maybelle wasn’t sure what Griffin meant by that statement. The enchantress made it clear when she stood up and undid her collar, allowing her top to drop down and expose her ample cleavage.
The fairy almost dropped her coffee mug. “Griffy, you don’t have to do this”, she said.
“Yes, I do. And you can’t tell me you don’t want me. I’ve seen the lust in your eyes ever since you rescued me.”
Maybelle was going to protest, but the protest died in her throat. She never thought she’d be attracted to another woman, but this was an enchantress; desired by everyone. *Gods yes, I wanted her. And I still do…*
She tried to fight her emotions but again failed. She stood up, took the witch into her arms and kissed her passionately. “Yes, Auralee Trixie Griffin, I do want you.”
“Enchantresses always get what they want. Shall we continue this in the bedroom?”, Griffin said, winking at the fairy.
“I think we could use a shower first”, Maybelle said.
The enchantress grabbed the fairy’s hand and practically dragged her into the apartment’s bathroom. There she was delighted to see that there was a large shower, large enough for them both. Trixie reached out and removed Maybelle’s belt, then slid the fairy’s dress off her shoulders. It fell to the fairy’s waist, exposing her chest. Trixie was not too surprised to find the fairy wasn’t wearing a bra. She was surprised, however, to find the fairy so well-endowed, putting her own chest to shame. The enchantress lowered her head and began suckling at the large areolas, bringing loud gasps from the fairy who instinctively wrapped her arms around the enchantresses head.
The enchantress listened to the fairy’s sounds of desire, then decided to quicken the pace. She stepped back from the fairy declaring, “my, it’s hot in here!”
Maybelle wasn’t about to let this opportunity go by. “Well, let me get you out of those hot clothes!” Her body aroused, the fairy quickly undressed the enchantress (who, to no surprise, wasn’t wearing panties and was shaved) and was further inflamed by the sight of the nude witch. Wrapping her arms tightly around the purple-haired woman’s waist, she kissed her deeply while trying to drag the enchantress into the shower, completely forgetting she herself was still mostly dressed.
Griffin was no stranger to this game and decided to tease the fairy just a little longer, even though she herself was quickly reaching the boiling point. “Halt”, she ordered. Maybelle did so, more than a little confused.
The enchantress leaned back against the sink. “Strip for me, slowly”, she said in a sultry voice as she watched the fairy intently.
The fairy, totally aroused, did as she was instructed. She leaned over and slowly removed her knee-high boots, exposing her own legs to the enchantress’ view. She then slowly wriggled her waist, allowing her dress to slip past her thighs and pool around her legs. Griffin was surprised to see that Faragonda was wearing thong underwear. *I never would believed it if I hadn’t see it for myself!*
The fairy was reaching for the thong when the enchantress slapped her hand away. “No, this I do!”, she said as she walked over to the fairy and kneeled in front of her. The purple-haired woman slowly slid the thong down, breathing in the smell of the fairy’s overwhelming arousal. She noted that the fairy was also shaved smooth, *again, if I hadn’t see it myself…*
Her tongue darted from between her lips and split the petals of the fairy’s dripping cunt. Maybelle let out a loud gasp and her hands went behind the enchantress’ head, pulling her closer.
Griffin sped up, making the fairy’s moans louder and more frequent. Suddenly the blonde tensed up and her mouth opened in a silent scream. Griffin quickly stood up and took hold of the fairy before she could fall.
Maybelle quickly recovered and once again took the purple-haired woman in a passionate embrace. She dragged the enchantress into the shower and closed the door. She moved one arm only long enough to turn the water on, quickly moving it back around the witch’s waist. The enchantress’ arms were wrapped around the fairy’s neck and the two were kissing deeply, only stopping long enough for a quick breath before resuming.
The hot water only seemed to inflame their passion. Griffin started kissing down Maybelle’s neck and the valley between her breasts. The fairy leaned back against the shower wall, trying desperately not to collapse in pure pleasure. Trixie Griffin never stopped until she got between the blonde’s legs, then wrapped her arms around the blonde’s thighs while furiously lapping the fairy’s twat.
This continued until Maybelle let out a loud scream that Trixie swore could be heard a continent away. She let the fairy slid down until she sat on the shower floor, panting heavily. The purple-haired witch took a washcloth and some soap and started cleaning up the blonde fairy, spending extra time on her breasts and cunt. When she finished the fairy she hurriedly washed herself, anxious to get Maybelle into bed. After she had dried the fairy and herself off she managed to half-carry/half-drag the blonde into bed, then disappeared into the next room.
When Maybelle’s fogged mind cleared she found herself in bed with little recollection of how she’d gotten there. Then she remembered Griffy, who was nowhere to be seen.
She called out for the purple-haired witch but there was no reply. Saddened, she wondered what had happened when she saw a movement by the bedroom door. It was the enchantress, poured into a black body stocking with three holes strategically cut in it, one pair allowing both her breasts to poke free and the third leaving her entire crotch area exposed. The purple-haired witch put a finger in her mouth and cooed, “see anything you like?”
Maybelle’s mouth almost dropped to her knees; all she could do was stare and make gurgling sounds.
The enchantress walked over and sat down on the bed next to the fairy. She leaned over and kissed Maybelle. “I think I’ll take that as a ‘yes’”. The next thing Trixie knew the fairy had grabbed her, pulled the enchantress on top of her and suckling on her breasts like a starving child. The fairy darted from one breast to another, the saliva on one breast cooling in the night air while the fairy’s breath warmed the other.
This was fast sending Trixie into fits, she knew she couldn’t take much more of this. She finally managed to pull away from the fairy long enough to duck under the covers with her lover. The enchantress crawled on top of the fairy and the two lovers looked long and deep into each other’s eyes. Both seemed to instinctively know that this would be their one and only night together, never to be repeated or even mentioned. Thus both were determined to make it memorable.
*=*=*
Several hours, several naps and countless amounts of love-making later the two lovers were cuddled in each others arms. Finally Maybelle spoke. “Trixie, that was wonderful.”
The enchantress kissed the fairy. “No arguments here.”
“So what now?”
“I guess when the morning comes we go our separate ways.”
“Any chance I can convince you to stay?”
“No, Maybelle. We’re two different people. I wanted to thank you for all you did for me. I’ve done that. But let’s face it, do you really think a long-term relationship is possible?”
A tear ran down the fairy’s cheek. “No, I guess not.”
The purple-haired witch cuddled closer to the blonde fairy. “Hush, we still have a few hours until dawn. And I need you.”

When Maybelle woke the next morning Griffy was gone. She wondered if she’d ever see her again.

Almost two years had passed. Trixie Griffin was working in her shop where she made potions and magic trinkets. It kept her busy and solvent, but it really wasn’t what she wanted to be doing. Saladin was now teaching at Red Fountain and Maybelle Faragonda was teaching at Alfea. Rumor had it both might well be running their respective schools when the current heads retired. She heard the door open. “Excuse me, Auralee Griffin?”
“Yes?”, she said. She didn’t recognize the faces at first, then she realized it was several of the members of the Magix Council.
“Can you speak with us, please?”
“OK.”
“Are you aware that Cloud Tower’s Headmistress Grimaldi is retiring?”
“No.”
“She is. This means a teaching position is available. Would you be interested?”
Trixie gasped when she heard this. “Are you sure?”
One of the Council Members handed her a letter. “Yes, we are.”
The enchantress took the letter, opened it and read it.
‘When the next teaching position opens up at Cloud Tower, I wish to nominate Auralee Griffin to fill it. You would be hard-pressed to find a more dedicated witch.
Signed,
Maybelle Faragonda’
The purple-haired witch almost broke down crying, but managed to steel herself. “Yes, I’m interested.”
“Please stop by the Magix Council Chamber next Thursday at 10am. We’ll meet with the Cloud Tower representatives and finalize everything.”
Trixie watched the Magix Council members leave her shop. *So, Maybelle’s at Alfea and I’ll be at Cloud Tower. This should prove to be MOST interesting!*
