A crash rang down the halls as two boys ran through them. One boy chasing the other.
“Come back here, Zim! I know you’re up to something!” Came the barking voice of Dib as he lunged himself at the slightly smaller figure he was chasing. Four spider-like mechanical legs sprouted from a strange metallic pac from the other boy’s back and Zim carried himself far from Dib’s grasp. The alien’s laughter ringing true as he scrambled out of the school building and vaulted himself out of sight.
Dib burst from the school and looked around, growling in his throat as he found Zim to be nowhere in sight. Damn! A few of the other students were watching him, but he didn’t care. After years of them laughing, taunting, and bulling him; he didn’t care what they thought anymore. He knew they believed him crazy or worse… insane. He was seventeen now and loathed the fact that Zim kept getting more and more ‘human’ with each passing year. Hell! Now even HE couldn’t tell if the alien was, in fact, an alien anymore. However, he knew. He’d known since the first day he’d stepped through the door in their elementary school years back. Maybe if he’d had the disguise then that he did now, Dib would have over looked him.
The human walked home, grumbling incoherently under his breath, with his hands fisted in the pockets of his baggy black jeans. The royal blue shirt he wore still painted with that straight faced smiley, a thin black coat covering it. The stubborn lock of hair that had been shaped more like the end of a riper through his youth, now hung in a wavy line down the side of his face. Still being the longest piece of his hair as the rest had been cropped short. Dib stopped for a moment and looked down the street in the direction of Zim’s base, a slow devilish smile creeping over his lips as he hopped up the steps into his home.
“Gir!” Barked the small Irken as his faithful robot lounged on their large couch. “What ARE you watching?” Zim asked as he shut the door behind him and snapped the heavy lock with a solid ‘click’, giving the windows a quick check to make sure they were shut and locked as well. He’d learned quickly over the years to make sure that everything was locked down since his little S.I.R unit liked to forget such important things. Gir turned turquoise eyes on his master with a goofy, chocolate covered grin as Zim watched the two figures on the screen doing… something. The sound of their grunts, groans, and moans blaring from the sound system.
“Iz funneh!” Giggled the android as he turned his gaze back on the TV. “Got it from store, store, store!” Zim narrowed one eye and picked up the case that was lying next to the couch under Gir’s feet, reading the front. ‘Orgasmic Space Encounter.’ The Irken blinked and turned his gaze back on the screen, taking a closer look at the two figures. One appeared to be a green-scaled alien and the other was a puny human. The image made Zim’s stomach recoil and he tossed the case back to the floor, staring at the screen for a couple minutes longer before going to the trash can and lowered into the heart of his base.
“Stupid stinking humans. How DARE they make such a… moooovie where they’re allowed to do such… thiiiings… with a SUPRIOR BEING!” Zim snarled, the green alien on the show having reminded him of himself. With his head held high, he strutted to his main computer panel and pulled up some screens to do a daily check of all his systems. Punching in a few keys, he thought of the movie again and pictured someone else as the human, giving a strange little smile at the thought.
As everything shut down for the usual five minutes or so, Zim took the chance to get out of his human disguise. Pulling the soft, shoulder length wig off and setting it away, along with his sky blue contacts, and went about washing the peach colored cream from his skin. Deciding he liked the more comfortable human cloths of black baggy jeans and a simple red t-shirt to his Invader uniform for the now, he went back to the panel as everything charged itself back up and he started to run his multiple tests.
Dib walked up to the two story white house and slid pass the picket fence. Completely expecting the creepy little lawn gnomes to start firing at him, he made a sprinting, diving run for the side of the house. Zim had decided that the green appearance of his house made it too noticeable, so he’d painted it white. Other then that, not much use had changed about it.
Breathing hard, Dib noticed that the gnomes didn’t fire, in fact! They hadn’t even turned their heads to look at him. Blinking, the human checked the windows and found them locked. “Hmm…” He shrugged and knocked on the door. Gir had always been on the stupid side and was easy to get pass. So figured that the little robot would be no trouble this time either. That is… if he was the one that opened the door. Sure enough, though, he was greeted with a pair of glowing blue-green eyes that quickly turned red. Many weapons shot out from the top of his head and he glared at Dib.
“Halt! No one may enter!”
“But Gir… Zim invited me.” For a moment, he wasn’t sure that Gir would buy the lie as he continued to stare him down, but then the weapons disappeared and the little robot’s eyes turned their usually color again.
“Oh? Oookee!” Was all he said as he turned around and marched back over to the couch, taking a sit and gluing his eyes back to the screen. “I love this shooow!” He commented as he took on a goofy face, a little pink tongue stick out of the corner of his metallic mouth. Dib just shook his head and entered; not even bothering to see what stupid show the unit had on and dutifully marched over to one of the many entrances to the Irken’s base. It seemed to not be working and it puzzled Dib.
“The gnomes didn’t fire or even move… and now the lifts aren’t working. What IS he doing?” He whispered fiercely to himself, but he didn’t take too much time to ponder it as he pulled out a rope from his backpack, tied it off, and disappeared into the belly of the beast. As it were.
Once below, he looked around to discover that nothing, in fact, seemed to be working. As if everything was shut down. The human crept through the silent halls, looking for any sign of Zim. He jumped slightly when everything suddenly kicked back on and he heard the soft ‘click’ing sound of someone typing away. Following the faint sound, he smiled as he heard Zim talking to his computer.
“Computer! Run test on intruder scan!” Zim barked out and continued to tap different control keys.
“Yes sir.” Came the reply just before sirens went off everywhere with a deafening ‘INTRUDER ALERT! INTRUDER ALERT!
“Hmm?” Zim spun around and came face to face with Dib, who was smirking. Though Zim had grown reasonable since he’d arrived on Earth. Now being at least six foot tall, however the Dib had always grown and stood about a half foot taller then him.
“Gir!! GIR!!” Zim cried out franticly as he backed up against the control panel. However, the little robot was too lost in his smut to hear his master’s wails and before the invader could call his communicator from his pac or even his spider legs, Dib jumped him. The boy pinned the Irken’s hands behind his back and yanked him against his larger frame.
“I don’t think so, Zim!” The human snarled, tightening his grip almost painfully. Zim jerked and squirmed in his grasp, opening his mouth to call out to the computer for help but Dib, having seen this and knowing that the computer worked on voice command, wasn’t about to take the chance in having the Irken get help from the mass of networks all around them. Without really thinking, Dib crushed his mouth down on the alien’s to keep him silent.
The act not only kept Zim from screaming, but it made him go completely still in wide-eyed shock. Dib stared back with equally wide eyes, being just as shocked by his actions as the Irken in his arms. Zim was the first to recover, a strange kind of purr vibrating his throat as he half closed his eyes and pushed against Dib’s lips. Though he’d never actually experienced it, Zim knew the basics of what a ‘kiss’ was and worked his mouth against the human’s. He watched in shear fascination as the human’s expression went from wide-eyed shock to anger then to a lazy desire. Dib tilted his head and used his hold on the Irken to pull him more flushed against his chest, deepening the kiss. Zim gave another little purr and leaned into Dib, completely closing his eyes so he could just feel as Dib’s thick, warm, wet tongue slipped pass Zim’s parted lips to tangle with his serpent like tongue.
Suddenly realizing what was happening, Dib shoved the Irken away and stumbled back. His breath ragged in his lungs and he gave a shuttered sigh. Half way cross the room; Zim seemed to be slowly recovering from the effects of the kiss. THAT SHOULDN’T HAVE HAPPENED!!! His mind screamed at him, furious with himself that he would kiss an alien. Oh! But not just ANY alien… no, no. He’d kissed ZIM! Zim… who had shoved his way into his life years ago. Zim… who was trying to take over the world. Zim… his ENEMY for God’s sake! Dib took his glasses off and pinched the bridge of his nose and closed his eyes. It hadn’t happen! I fell asleep and this is some fucked up nightmare! He preached at himself, slowly opening his eyes to find Zim standing not far from him with huge, doe eyes. He looked almost… endearing. Ok! So it wasn’t a dream. He’d kissed the damned Irken and had ENJOYED it. If the tingle still lingering on his lips wasn’t proof enough, the hardening in his pants sure as hell did the convincing trick.
Zim said nothing as he watched the obvious battle raging its way through Dib’s mind. Perhaps he was too quick to accept the fact that he enjoyed the kiss and wanted more, but he’d grown a slow attraction to the Dib-beast over the years. A sadistic kind of attraction, perhaps cause he fouled his plans time and time again. Proving his intelligence without a shadow of a doubt. The human even had a knack of knowing he was up to something, even when he’d carefully covered it up. Of course, he never thought to act on it. One, they were both males and that seemed to be looked down on in most human eyes. Even though ‘gay’ was something new to Zim. On Irk, it didn’t matter what sex you were, attraction was attraction, plain and simple. He’d been pretty sure that Dib would only want the female counterparts of his race and only stroked the pale flesh of his enemy in his dreams. Daydreams, mostly, for he didn’t sleep much. Two… was the obvious fact. They were enemies. Yet, the human had kissed HIM and had obviously enjoyed it. Perhaps, he’d been wrong. With trembling fingertip, Zim reached out and touched Dib’s shoulder, measuring his reactions as he did. The human tensed under Zim’s touch and glared at the Irken for a moment before sighing.
As Zim touched him, he felt a jolt of energy surge from that spot and lace itself through his body, which made him glare at Zim. Though he wanted to fight it, he signed in defeat and pulled the Irken into his arms and stroked his back.
“This isn’t right, y’know.” He muttered as he lowered his head slightly, smiling as one of the other’s antennas twitch as his breath brushed it and felt Zim shiver.
“I know… you stink beast humans seem to think that it’s only right to be with those of your counterpart gender.” He mumbled back irritably, figuring that Dib would back away from him soon. Zim jumped a little when the human started to laugh and shook his head.
“I was thinking more that… we’re enemies.” A shrug rolled through the larger boy’s shoulders and Zim blinked up into Dib’s golden gaze. He slipped his glasses back on and smiled down at the Irken, which was rewarded with a smile in return.
“Yea… but do we REALLY have to be enemies?” He pouted softly and watched as Dib blinked, staring at him.
“You’re an alien trying to take over my planet.” Dib stated matter-of-factly.
“True, but why do you insist on protecting them? They hardly even notice you exist. Unless you’re chasing me down the halls or talking… strange.” A thoughtful look crossed over Dib’s face. He was right, he did have a point.
“So… what? You want me to join you instead?” Dib had meant it to be sarcastic, but Zim’s face lit up in a wide grin.
“Yessss! Join me! We can take over this waste dust ball!” The human turned his head slightly and looked away, a little ashamed that he would actually consider the Irken’s offer, but thought about it anyway. I could join Zim. Least then they would know that I was telling the truth the whole time. They’d be really sorry too! A sadistic little smile curved the corners of his lips. Oh. Would they be. Then it would be too late to late for them to believe me though… and I WOULD be handing the world over to a control freak of an alien. Not to mention… what would become of ME once it wa--- Dib’s was jerked from his thoughts with a tiny yelp when he felt a warm, wet… thing… slide crossed the pulse of his neck. He jerked his head around to see that Zim had licked him, his serpent tongue still half out of his mouth as he looked up with scarlet eyes. Pulling a hand from Zim’s back, he touch the place the alien had licked and look at the glittering wetness on his fingertips.
“S-sorry.” Zim stammered. “Y-you seemed to be wrestling a lot with your thoughts and… I… just thought…” He stopped his pitiful excuse for licking him and lowered his eyes, a little surprised when Dib pulled him closer. He used the hand to lift Zim’s head and kissed him.
Eager for the kiss and another chance to taste Dib, he wrapped his thin arms around the Earth boy. After a moment, they pulled apart, panting. Zim still had his arms twisted around Dib’s shoulders and the human had his arms firmly wrapped around the Irken’s waist.
“Ok…” Dib’s swallowed hard, looking into Zim’s eyes. “So… we’ve got a major thing for each other. We’re enemies, but you want me to join you in your conquest of Earth. Am I right so far?” Zim nodded, quirking an antenna. “What will happen to me then, hm?” Taking a deep breath, Zim let it out slowly.
“Stay with me.” Came the simple statement and Dib nodded.
“Ok. So… we take over. You give this place over to your… Tallest… and then you’d go home right?” Zim nodded, tilting his head.
“Zim. I’m not Irken. I’m human. Apart of this planet. Wouldn’t they sorta… not like it?” Zim shrugged, clearly not caring what the Tallest or the Irken Empire thought on the matter of them being together. Considering this for a time, Dib finally sign and smiled.
“Where’s your bedroom then?”
Zim wanted to scream with joy! He wanted to dance the jig! He was so happy, that it was as if nothing would have been able to dampen his spirits. The Dib wanted to be with him! The Irken led the way down the mass of hallways till they came to his sleeping area, the door sliding open as he stepped on the trigger panel built into the floor. Dib fallowing close behind as Zim walked in and crawled into the massive, blanket swamped bed. He turned to watch through ruby eyes as Dib looked around, smiling fondly at his obvious curiosity. Is he really going to join me in this fight? Wait… do I even really WANT to take over Earth anymore? After all… the Tallest don’t really seem to care if I success or not. Actually, probably would be happy to have me never come back to Irk. The thought made him kind of sad. He treasured his home planet, but maybe he could learn to treasure this place too. After all, it was the place that he found the one being he wanted to be with. Zim looked over at Dib as the human inched closer to the bed, slowly pulling his shirt off and tossing it aside.
Dib watched Zim’s eyes widen at the sight of his bared chest and forced himself to keep from squirming under his intense regard. He was a slender boy, but well toned from all the years of fighting with Zim. Approaching the bed, Dib looked down at the Irken invader perched on in and slowly removed his glasses, setting them aside. He watched as the slightly blurred green figure reached out to him and delicately touched the smooth flesh of his stomach, his muscles jumping under the attention and Dib hissed out softly. Fascinated by the reaction, Zim flattened his palm against his rib cage, purring with delight as Dib’s breath hitched. As curiosity reared its head, the little invader leaned forward and licked at one of the little bumps that humans called a ‘nipple’ and heard his human gasp at the contact. Enticed further, Zim scooted a little closer to the edge of the bed and placed wondering fingertips on Dib’s back while he drug his tongue over his chest. The alien was reward when the human gasped and arched into him, making a soft mewling sound in his throat.
With his eyes half closed, he marveled at the mixture of sensations the invader provoked. The faint thought that he really shouldn’t be doing this came up for one final flare of defiance, then quieted down under the wondering administrations from the Irken’s curious mouth and hands. Finally being able to muddle together a few thoughts, Dib pushed Zim away, chuckling at the distraught gasp him gave from the sudden halt of his explorations. However, the little alien wasn’t disappointed for long as Dib peeled his uniform shirt of his head. The human smile as Zim seemed to suddenly become shy and tried to cover himself by crossing his arms over his chest and altered his eyes. With a soft chuckle, Dib grasped Zim’s wrists and pulled his arms from his body. He leaned close to the invader and whispered against his neck.
“Don’t cover yourself.” Giving his neck a little nibble, rewarded when his lover shivered and gave that strange little purring noise, and pulled away slightly to look him over. Zim had a slight frame, but not completely unfortunate where muscles were concerned. He was well toned and Dib raised his fingers to trace little designs on Zim’s chest. The little being shivered, swallowing a little moan. He lowered him to the bed, kicking off his boots as he unzipped his pants. Though he didn’t attempted to remove them, Dib lowered his head to Zim’s throat, licking and nibbling over the flesh there. It was a strange taste against his tongue, but not completely unpleasant.
Under his gentle attention, Zim seemed to be growing more and more feverish in his responses and had mostly dumped Dib off the bed a couple times as he bucked against him, the boy having found one of the more sensitive parts on his body; his antennas.
Hours later… Zim and Dib lay panting next to each other on the bed, facing each other. Dib tracing lazy circles on the alien’s arms and they both slowly nodded off… with the sounds of Zim’s soft purrings.
