A/N: This contains rape. The rape of a child to be exact. But be not fooled, this won’t all be dark.

Prologue: Nightmares

The tiny child-prince screamed as the boiling liquid of Zhao’s heat flooded his torn passage. He felt the Captain’s hands heat hot enough to scald his childishly pale skin…

“NOOOO!” Prince Zuko, now eighteen woke screaming. Slowly reality returned. He was not pinned beneath that bastard Zhao. He was not seven years old. He was eighteen and banished on his uncle’s ship. Zhao had been missing for over seven months. He couldn’t hurt Zuko anymore.

With that encouraging thought Zuko lay back down to sleep unaware that his uncle and crew had heard his screech and looked at his room with pity.
