Revenge.
Dr. Mindbender looked at all of the plans that Cobra had for conquering the planet of the last few years. Every single one of those plans sounded perfect and yet every single one of them failed because the Joes defeated them at the various sites where they had planned to conquer. Mindbender went through the various sites over again, what if we attacked an old target of ours, they wouldn’t be wiser about us going back to the old targets and attacking. But the thought came to him as he gazed around the room. What about their base itself? They never really fought the Joes on their base and won. He started to pace as he wondered how would he be able to destroy their base. His stomach growled hungrily, it was at that moment did he smile a very evil smile. He now knew how to destroy them, they would never expect it. He quickly raced from his room to his laboratory where he worked within the room for several hours before he went to the throne room of his lord – Serpentor.
“My lord, I have found a way to defeat those despicable Joes!” Dr. Mindbender said as he entered the throne room.
“Do not tell me you have one of those brilliant plans that ended up in failure, Mindbender!” Serpentor roared.
Mindbender realized that if he told him his plan, someone might spill his plan to the Joes and make it impossible for him to carry it out. “Forgive me, my lord. I had just realized that the wondrous plan I had in mind would not work. I shall go and consider better plans,”
Mindbender bowed as he backed away from him. He hurried towards the vehicles as he thought to himself, ‘I will do this on my own without telling them about it till it was done, that way no one shall be wise to my plan to kill the Joes. Till it is too late to warn them or to stop me.’
It took Mindbender several hours to find a chat room where the Joes might be at to find where the Joes’ chefs get their uniforms from, a little culinary lie to the Joe who happened to be in a chat room and the Joe didn’t even hide his name from the other members of the chat room.
Hot cook to Gung-ho: I just graduated from Denver CAI, that’s the school for the best chefs in the Denver area. I’m hoping to get a job soon. But it looks like I won’t get any job because I am lacking in experience.
Gung-ho to Hot cook: Hey, we always need more cooks here at the base. Send me your e-mail address and I’ll get you the directions to our base and you can get an interview with the head chef here. Some of the dishes you spoke about sound delicious. I am also a cook too and I don’t have much time to cook for my teammates.
Hot cook to Gung-ho: Thank you very much. My e-mail address is blahblahblah@blahblah.com, I do hope I get the job as my dad died serving the military when I was younger and this is the best way I can think of to serve the men who might have served by him.
Gung-ho to Hot cook: Check your e-mail you got mail. I’ll tell the head chef he has an interviewee coming in the morning. Can you be here at 0400 hours? It will give him an hour to interview you before he needs to start breakfast.
Hot cook to Gung-ho: I got it. Thanks. Just in case that I do get the job, where do you get the cook uniforms from? I just want to come prepared just in case he hires me on the spot.
Gung-ho to Hot cook: He most likely will hire you on the spot. Gung-ho told him where the supply shop was at. It turned out to be a local restaurant supply shop maybe a good two hours away from their base. Well, I better get going I am needed to be up in a few hours. Hope the interview goes great for you, Hot cook, see you in the kitchen.
Hot cook to Gung-ho: See you later,
Gung-ho has logged off.
Hot cook has logged off.
Mindbender leaned back in the chair in his laboratory and thought to himself. ‘Thank you so much, Gung-ho, you just aided me in this plan on your fellow Joes.’
Mindbender headed out that afternoon to the supply store and looked at the uniforms that they had up on the displays. He asked them about the uniforms and informed the employee who he was getting help from, that he got a job in the kitchen at the local military base and he needed his uniform the following morning.
The employee quickly took him to the uniform racks for the military bases and asked his shirt size. It took Mindbender another twenty minutes trying to get the right size since his size was not in the store front but the employee found it in the back. Mindbender smiled evilly as he walked out of the store. Now all he needed to do was collect enough of the one ingredient that he needed to have to complete his plan on the Joes – something that they will never expect.
Chapter Two is coming.
