Prowl snarled as he was tossed onto a cell floor, struggling against the cuffs that kept his arms and legs bound. He glared up at Lockdown, cursing as the bounty looped chains from the wall onto the his wrists and heels. Lockdown backed away and deactivated the cuffs. Prowl instantly shot up and leaped after the bounty hunter, letting out a frustrated yell when the chains stopped him within mere inches of the older mech.
“Where’s Jazz?!” Prowl snarled. “What have you done to him?!”
Lockdown snorted, “He’s functioning, and probably still on the ground where I knocked him out.”
“You didn’t kill him?” Prowl growled in disbelief.
“Oh, believe me, I was tempted,” Lockdown growled back. “I couldn’t stand the sight of him kissing you. I wanted to tear him limb from limb, but then I knew that would just break your spark.” He moved closer, cupping the ninjabot’s cheek. “How about showing me some gratitude for letting your ‘boyfriend’ live?”
Prowl scowled and sank his dentals into Lockdown’s hand, causing the bounty hunter to yowl and jerk away. The ninjabot expected a violent retaliation, but Lockdown merely laughed and shook his head.
“You’re a feisty little bot,” Lockdown chuckled, rubbing his sore hand. “I like that.” He exited the cell, bars slamming down behind him. “You’ll eventually forget that slag-heap cyber-ninja, and all you’ll want is me.”
“Go rot in the Pit!” Prowl snapped. “I’d rather be deactivated!”
Lockdown laughed as he strode down the hallway. “It’s going to be fun proving you wrong, darlin’.”
*Present*
Jazz gazed through the medbay window, gnawing on his thumb as he viewed Prowl, chained down to the berth, being examined. He hardly recognized the ninjabot. Prowl was decked out in samurai-like upgrades, and his Autobot symbol was gone, scratched away. His helmet was also dented and scratched where he had been knocked unconscious. Finding Prowl should have been a joyous occasion.
A servo patted on Jazz’s shoulder, breaking the cyber ninja from his thoughts. He turned, frowning when Sentinel, left arm in a sling, came into view.
“How’s the arm?” Jazz asked.
“Good, I suppose,” Sentinel replied. “Your friend there could have done a lot more damage if Ultra Magnus hadn’t knocked him out. Why would he attack us?”
“Lockdown must’ve threatened him,” Jazz growled. “I can’t even imagine what that bastard did to him all those cycles. I’ll talk to him when he wakes up.”

The chains and cuffs that once bound Prowl were long gone as were his com links and signal. He was allowed to roam the ship, but he preferred to stay in the cell, refusing to share a berth with Lockdown. The bounty hunter had an annoying habit of groping and kissing him, and each time Prowl delivered a vicious punch or kick. It amazed Prowl that Lockdown never struck back. The older mech would just chuckle and shrug it off. He had always thought that the bounty hunter would be a violent mech. Even more amazing was that Lockdown hadn’t forced him into interfacing. Prowl figured that Lockdown would eventually lose patience, and the fear of being raped made him tense whenever the bounty hunter was around him. He still clung to a small shred of hope that his teammates or the Elite Guard would find him.
“Kid, could you come here a nanosec?” Lockdown called out.
Prowl grudgingly rose from meditation. If he didn’t comply, the bounty hunter would just come and drag him out. He walked down the hall, stopping when he spotted Lockdown standing in front of a door.
“What do you want?” Prowl stated coldly.
“I got a few presents for you,” Lockdown grinned. “Take a look.”
Prowl cautiously peaked around the door, gaping at what he saw. The entire room was filled with exotic plant life, ranging from brightly colored shrubs, small trees, and beautiful flowers.
“How?” Prowl gasped.
“Picked them up on that last planet,” Lockdown answered. “They don’t need oxygen or water. They only need a small amount of oil to survive. I figured you’d enjoy them since you’re in to that organic slag.”
“I do…like them,” Prowl replied, frowning, “but what do you want in return? Nothing is ever free with you.”
“Well…how about you sit down with me, share some energon, and have a talk,” Lockdown stated.
“Talk?” Prowl snorted, raising an optic ridge. “That’s all you want? Really?”
Lockdown chuckled, “It’d be nice to have a friendly conversation without you cursing me out or trying to turn me into scrap metal.”
Prowl reluctantly agreed, and he was surprised to find out that Lockdown could actually carry a pleasant and intelligent conversation.
*Present*
Jazz entered the medbay and sat beside Prowl, taking the ninjabot’s servo and cradling it in his own. Prowl shifted and gradually came back online, groaning in discomfort from his sore helm. He tried to move, and when he couldn’t, he started to thrash against the binds, jerking his servo away from Jazz.
“Easy Prowl!” Jazz stated. “You’re safe now!”
Prowl snarled, “Where’s Lockdown?! Where is he damn it?!”
“We don’t know,” Jazz muttered. “He escaped, but we’ll catch him and make him pay for what he did.”
“You’re not going to touch him!” Prowl yelled, struggling with renewed vigor.
Jazz gazed at Prowl in confusion, reaching to caress the ninjabot’s cheek. “Prowl, baby, what are you--”
“Don’t call me that!” Prowl snapped, jerking away from Jazz. “And don’t touch me either!”
“Prowl--” Jazz started.
He stopped when he noticed scratch marks over Prowl’s chassis. Jazz recognized those types of marks: bonding. The thought of the disgusting bounty hunter bonding with Prowl sickened Jazz.
“Prowl…did Lockdown…bond…” Jazz stammered, unable to finish.
Prowl grinned and replied nonchalantly, “Yes. We’re bondmates.”
Jazz coughed and nearly retched. “That vile son of a glitch!”
“Get out!” Prowl snarled. “I have nothing more to say to you!”
Saddened, Jazz complied, knowing if he stayed it would only agitate Prowl further.

Prowl had given up on hoping for a rescue, and after so many cycles of being in Lockdown’s company, he found that the bounty hunter wasn’t so bad. Conversing with Lockdown was actually entertaining, and there were times, although rare, he could convince the bounty hunter to meditate with him. He had also moved out of the cell and shared a room and berth with Lockdown. Prowl had made it clear that interfacing was out of the question, and Lockdown seemed to accept that, never pressuring the ninjabot to change his mind. The ninjabot currently sat in the plant covered room, meditating, with Lockdown sitting beside him. The bounty hunter shifted, stretching out his sore arms and legs.
“I don’t know how you do it, kid,” Lockdown muttered.
“You just need more practice,” Prowl replied.
“Yeah, sure,” Lockdown mumbled. “I have a bounty to take care of. Would you like to join me?”
Prowl snorted, “I’m not going to help you catch an innocent bot.”
“This mech isn’t innocent,” Lockdown chuckled. “He raped and murdered a femme. The family doesn’t like the idea of Elite Guard justice, so they were willing to pay me to catch him and turn him over to them.”
“I’m still not going to help you,” Prowl answered.
“Suit yourself,” Lockdown mumbled sadly. “I may be gone for a while. How about a kiss before I go?”
Prowl remained seated, ignoring Lockdown. The bounty hunter sighed and rose up, heading for the door. When Lockdown turned his back, Prowl shot up and grasped the bounty hunter’s arm. Lockdown turned back around and gasped when Prowl grabbed his face and pulled him down for a tender kiss. The bounty hunter parted his lips, allowing the younger mech’s glossa to slide inside. Prowl allowed Lockdown to embrace him, servo and hook massaging the younger mech’s back.
Prowl reluctantly pulled and murmured, “Come back safely.”
Lockdown grinned and caressed Prowl’s cheek. “I will, darlin’.”
*Present*
Jazz slumped when the door shut behind him, sorrow overwhelming him. The bot he still loved was a complete wreck, and he couldn’t imagine how long it would take for Prowl to recover, if he could at all. Approaching footsteps forced Jazz back on his feet. Ultra Magnus entered his view, expression solemn. Jazz knew something was wrong.
“Sir?” Jazz asked.
“Jazz…I…” Ultra Magnus stammered, uncertain on how to continue. “A decision regarding Prowl has been made. Once we reach Cybertron, a memory wipe will be performed on him.”
Jazz nearly fainted. “What?! It’s not Prowl’s fault that he’s actin’ all crazy! Lockdown must’ve messed with his processor or something’!”
“That has been taken into consideration,” Ultra Magnus stated, “but a memory wipe has been found to be the best option for him. I’m sorry, Jazz. Prowl has been under enemy influence for far too long. I doubt even you could reach him now.”
“But…he’ll forget everything,” Jazz choked.
“I’m sorry, Jazz,” Ultra Magnus repeated. “I truly am.”
Jazz turned, optics tearing up under his visor, vision blurring as he gazed through the window at Prowl, who was giving him a venomous glare.

Earlier in the day, Prowl had agreed to join Lockdown on one of his missions, and it was a rousing success. The rest of the day was spent drinking in celebration. The older mech was passed out on the berth, over energized. Prowl snuggled closer to Lockdown’s warm body, and he traced his fingertips over the bounty hunter’s lips, chin, and cheeks. Lockdown shifted in his slumber, smiling faintly from the soft touch of Prowl’s fingers. The ninjabot leaned forward, gently brushing his lips over Lockdown’s.
“Hmm, trying to…t--take advantage…of a drunk bot?” Lockdown slurred. “N--Naughty ninja.”
Prowl snorted and asked, “Want me to stop and let you recharge?”
“No, but I d--don’t…want you to…r--regret anything,” Lockdown murmured, wrapping his arm around Prowl’s waist.
“I won’t regret anything,” Prowl replied, giving Lockdown a soft kiss.
“Wait…a b--bit,” Lockdown slurred. “I want…to be…a little…m--more sober.”
The two laid together for several hours, gently kissing and exploring each other’s bodies as they gradually sobered up. Whimpering, Prowl tugged on the older mech, pulling the bounty hunter on top of him. Lockdown settled his weight, both retracting their pelvic plating and groaning when their arousals pressed together, grinding against one another before the bounty hunter moved his pelvis lower, gently connecting with Prowl’s body. Love making was gentle and sensual. Lockdown was tender and patient, making sure Prowl was comfortable and only felt pleasure, stimulating all of the ninjabot’s sweet spots.
Prowl’s spark pulsed wildly with arousal, engorged within the ninjabot’s chassis. Unable to take the throbbing pain, Prowl opened up his chest plates, filling the room with a soft blue glow as his spark emerged. Lockdown’s optics widened at the beautiful sight, and he gazed back up at Prowl’s face. The ninjabot gave him a warm smile, nodding and rubbing his servo over Lockdown’s chassis, feeling the bounty hunter’s spark pulse beneath. Panting, Lockdown’s chest plates split open, revealing a dark red spark. The bounty hunter lowered his chassis, stopping within mere inches of Prowl’s spark. Wrapping his arms around Lockdown’s neck, Prowl pulled, pressing their chest plates together, and their sparks merged as one, flooding both mechs with extreme pleasure. Overload was intense and sweet, and Prowl screamed Lockdown’s name as the bounty hunter whispered loving endearments into his audio.
*Present*
Jazz stood before the computer screen, trembling. He wanted to notify Prowl’s teammates that the ninjabot had been located and safely obtained, but he wondered what the point would be if Prowl received a memory wipe. The ninjabot wouldn’t remember them.
A violent shudder ripped through the ship, nearly sending Jazz sprawling across the room. Emergency alarms rang loudly, warning of a hull breach. His thoughts instantly turned to Prowl, and he raced back to the medbay, gasping in terror at what he saw through the window. The entire room was gone, blown apart and revealing the dark expanse of space. Prowl was gone as well. The cyber-ninja sank to his knees and pounded his fisted servo into the floor. He had lost Prowl a second time, and it was likely that this time the ninjabot would be gone forever.
Once aboard Lockdown’s ship, Prowl eagerly embraced the bounty hunter.
“I knew you would come for me,” Prowl murmured happily.
Lockdown chuckled, nuzzling the smaller mech’s neck. “I’d never abandon you, my beautiful mate.”
