Dive watched her as she sat next to Lolita at the council meeting. The Shadow that he had his eye on, returned his gaze with a smile before the meeting was called to an end. Dive walked the council members out of the room and to the gate before returning to the council room where he would spend time talking with Lolita.
This time; the council room was empty beyond one person and it was not Lolita, it was Charlotte who stood by the table. It was the cover story that they would do to distract the other council members that they were waiting for Lolita to return to the council chamber for a private meeting with her two Shadows.
“You know I could end up dead cause of what we’re doing?” whispered Dive, as he ran his hands over her body before pulling her very close to him.
“I know. But she won’t know that I’m your mistress, Dive. If she smelled my scent on you and that of our sexual contact, she could kill you and it is all legal, it’s a form of divorce here,” Charlotte replied, as she removed his pants from his waist and dropped to her knees. She frowned, it would be simple enough to kill Sassy but she could be patient, after all Sassy was much older than she.
