Summary: A Real Ghostbusters/Filmation Ghostbusters crossover based on the movie Ghostbusters II, an RGB episode, and the FGB episode that proves without a shadow of a doubt that the FGBs are not from NYC (contrary to popular belief). This story continues on themes in my previous fanfics Birthday Beginnings and Just the Way You Are. It helps to have read them to follow this story, but it isn’t totally necessary.
Description: Het + Oral, Preg, Multi-Ship, OCs presentTimeline: Begins in late March of 1989. I broke canon a bit, so consider this mildly A/U (besides, the movie sequel broke canon on the cartoon). Assume for this story that the RGBs only went out of business for a few months, just prior to the Vigo incident, not 5 years, which would have made the cartoon’s canon impossible. Also assume this is post-FGB series.
Rating: NC-17 for violent content, adult themes, naughty language, and sexual situations.Disclaimer: Some lines are taken from Ghostbusters II by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, as well as from an H.P. Lovecraft short story. The characters Harvey Sherman, Dr. Karen Barber, Sam Jessup, Kelechi Zewditu Bryant, Jimmy Hollander, and Chloe, Zoë and Joseph Kong are of my own creation and therefore my intellectual property as is the story itself. I do not own any of the other characters nor do I profit from their use in this story. My purpose is one of philosophical fulfillment: I write, therefore I am.
Author’s Notes: People say that the FGBs are corny by comparison to the RGBs. Well, I liked both shows as a kid, and never saw a need to compare them. The RGB personas are already delightfully mature, but I put a little oomph into the FGB characters so they could keep up. Many thanks to my super awesome beta, the Kelinator.
