Chapter 8: "White" Problem
9, June 2017 AD, 14.02 AD (Homeworld's time)
Homeworld, The Tower of Diamonds
After Blue Diamond's gone rogue. A chaos happened for Blue sector on Homeworld. Both Black Diamond and Yellow Diamond annexed Blue Sector and divided between them. It leads another massive protest against Yellow Diamond's and Black Diamond's aggression. Even Yellow court didn't like that. But a tension between Diamond's sectors and official Homeworld Government left her with no options.
Yellow Diamond is sitting on her favorite chair in Yellow Diamond's office. She is staring at the ceiling, trying to make a plan to restore The Diamond's Authority old glory.
"Screw the Authority, it can rot alongside with Destroyers" Orange Diamond's words ringed in her mind. She did have a point, though, Diamond Authority really became weak for this decay. Celiana really doesn't understand how she fails at ruling her court.
Yellow scowled "I don't understand. Why I can't lead my people? I nearly had Crystal Gems. I could have my final revenge for my father.
She looks at her picture where she is with her father. "How did you managed to rule over the Homeworld, father? You were Yellow Diamond. I'm Yellow Diamond too...after your death. Why I can't be like you? Why I can't be intimidating like you? Your enemies always were afraid of you. But me...?
He looks at her mirror. "I look like I'm the model of Homeworld. Yellow Court says I'm attractive...But I don't want to be. I want to be like you. Be a strongest, smartest, fearless and threatening Diamond. Not a cute yellow girl you knew me.
Yellow Diamond looked at her picture again. Then anger infects her mind. She grabs her picture and tears it in pieces. "Thanks for nothing!" She shouted at the pieces of the picture.
She angrily threw pieces to the trash bin. She then fell on her seat with loud thumb and dropped her dead to the desk. She starts crying. "Why...*sob*...Why I can't do anything right." Yellow cries.
Then the door slides open. Yellow Pearl entered with an ancient box on her hands.
"My Diamond, here is-...wow" Yellow Pearl interrupted her words when she saw her Diamond crying.
Yellow Diamond lift her head up. She blushed that her pearl saw her crying. "If you will tell anybody about this. I will burn you alive." Yellow Diamond hisses. "Now give me this thing."
Yellow Pearl placed the ancient chest on her leader's desk. Yellow Diamond slowly opens it to reveal what inside it. It reveals a unique dagger.
"Is that what I think it is?" Yellow Pearl asks her master.
Yellow Diamond grins "Yes, my dear Pearl. This is the ancient dagger that can help us to destroy Carnelian. Tell the other Diamonds to meet me in my office."
"Yes, my Diamond" Yellow Pearl salutes to her. She leaves her office. "Hm," She cups her mouth "Maeby I could use my attractiveness like a weapon."
She quickly opens her computer and checks the Homeworld network. "How to be attractive just like White Diamond?" She types on the network.
Then the results open, She reads them."Well then. I guess I'm lucky that I and Zeira have the same size." She comments
She got up from her computer and approached to her mirror. She placed her hands on her hips and checks herself. "Smaller than White Diamond's, but still has advantages"
She turns around and checks her back. "And that maybe too"
Sometime later of Yellow Diamond's strange obsession with her looks.
After some time of "rethinking". Yellow thinks of her hair. She could do the straight down hair...or even a ponytail. But after the same time, her mind tells to keep it. Then her eyes caught on her lips.
"I could use Ellysian lipstick. It has a great smell and fits my lips' color very well." She checks her lips.
"My Diamond? Both White and Black Diamond are in front of your office" Yellow Pearl says through the speaker.
Yellow Diamond growls. She hides her tools and sat on her face. "Tell them to enter" Yellow Diamond makes a serious face. Then the door slides open. Black and White Diamond entered her office with Yellow Pearl. White Diamond has a bandage on her leg.
Yellow Diamond smiles at her friend "Hey White, how is your leg?"
White Diamond looks at her leg "Pretty good...it could be even worse if Blue Diamond shot me into the stomach."
Yellow Diamond smirks "Good to know. Now I send both you here for important news."
Black Diamond crossed his arms "Which is?"
Yellow Diamond stood up from her chair and approached the window.
"Last Rose Quartz's rebels have been captured."
"By Blue Diamond?" White asks
Yellow Diamond turns around to them...slowly. She then slammed her fist into the wall. "NO! IT'S CARNELIAN WHO CAPTURED THEM, HE KILLED BLUE DIAMOND...AND HE ONCE AGAIN PLAYS CAT AND MOUSE GAME WITH US!" Yellow screams
Then Yellow Diamond she sat down on a chair. White Diamond covered her own mouth in shock that Blue Diamond is dead. Then Yellow Diamond slowly lifts up her head and looked at White Diamond. "For ten years our influence dramatically dropped around our capital. Do you know why?...Because it's Carny and his followers who're trying destroy us..." Yellow hisses
White Diamond and Black Diamond giggled a little bit because Yellow Diamond uses Golden's nickname to Carnelian. She rolled her eyes in annoyance. She then stood up from her chair. "We had only one option...to eliminate him."
Both of them stopped giggling and their expression's become unimpressed.
"And how are you going to eliminate him, young lady Diamond." The old Black Diamond hisses
Yellow Diamond shrugged her shoulder with small grin "Simple"
She turned her head to Pearl. "Bring me a dagger."
"As you say," Yellow Pearl bows to her, sighing as she is already tired of Yellow's idiocy.
Yellow Pearl left office. One minute later she returned with display case. She places it on the desk. Yellow Pearl opened the lock with a key and allowed Yellow Diamond to open it. Yellow Diamond slowly opened it and relieved the hidden treasure. The Golden dagger. The same dagger that Yellow Pearl gave to Yellow Diamond.
"Quite a treasure I say" Yellow Diamond smiles at the dagger's beauty.
White Diamond scratched her chin "Okaaay...What is that?"
Yellow Diamond grins again "This White...is "The Authority Dagger." It was made by legendary lady Diamond we know and love...Golden Diamond herself."
"But what for?" White said with fear on her tone.
Yellow Diamond touches the blade "She was afraid that Carnelian could become insane. If he did, then she would use this dagger to kill him. This Dagger contains a power that destroys Carnelian's star gem. He will die in a matter of seconds."
"I understand Yellow...but do you have the plan to kill him?" Black Diamond asks
Yellow Diamond looks at him "Yes. There is will Carnelian's speech with Gemirians Tomorrow. We will be here. During his speech, I will back stab him."
White Diamond becomes angry "Yellow...Are you insane? If we are going to kill him, then it will start another civil war on Homeworld!"
Yellow Diamond made the confused face "And? We will deal with rebels easily"
White Diamond widened her eyes as she realized something. "You just want the power to yourself, don't you?" She said with quiet angry tone
Yellow shrugs "Of course. Main reason of Diamond Authority is to control Gemirians-"
"NO IT"S NOT! YOU SUPPOSED TO KEEP PEACE IN HOMEWORLD...BOTH OF YOU FORGOT MAIN TEACHING OF GOLDEN DIAMOND!" White screamed at them.
Yellow Diamond got up from her seat "I don't care about Golden Diamond's ideas. I care about restoring the Authority's pride, you stupid girl!"
"Then...It would be better...if I joined Crystal Gems back then I was a girl" White hisses at Yellow
Both and Yellow Diamond widened their eyes when they heard her words.
It made Yellow even angrier "What did you just said to me...you little bitch!" Yellow approached to White so that their faces would few inches away from each other.
White Diamond removed a badge from her chest and throws it to the triangle symbol of the Authority. "I'm done with Authority, You can kiss my lovely white butt, Yellow!"
She started leaving Yellow Diamond office but stopped when she heard that someone loaded a rifle. "You're not going anywhere, white cheerleader!" Yellow exclaimed.
White Diamond slowly turned around to Yellow Diamond. She is pointing her Yellow sword while her soldiers are aiming their rifles at White Diamond.
"You threatening me?" White asks harshly
Yellow Diamond lowered her sword "White Diamond. You betray your own sisters and brothers. You, Purple Diamond and Rose Quartz are enemies of Great Diamond Authority."
White Diamond smiled when she came up with an escape plan. "You always think you're above all else, Yellow."
Yellow Diamond raised her right eyebrow "What are you talking about?"
"Face it, Yellow. Blue told me about how your first days of being Diamond. You've always admired me. I knew that you want to be like me." She taunted her.
That made Yellow Diamond blushed very hard. "H-how you know about this?" Yellow stuttered in embarrassment.
"I'm White Diamond. I'm always can trick Gems...EVEN YOU!"
White Diamond used her Diamond Gemstone and blinded Yellow, Black, and soldiers.
"SHOOT HER DOWN!" Yellow screamed in blindness
Her Soldiers starts shooting anywhere possible. When everyone's vision reappeared. They saw that White Diamond is gone.
"She is gone, my Diamond." One of her soldiers says
"I noticed it, imbecile!" She screamed at her soldier.
Black is still shocked. He knew White very well. But now she acted like a White Pearl during her time.
Meanwhile Yellow Diamond approached to the console. She pushed a button to open her speaker.
"Find White Diamond and kill her!"
"As you say." The voice of her commander said.
Meanwhile inside the White Sector.
One of the White Diamond's soldiers is checking supplies that arrived from Colony's around the Gem Empire.
"So...what arrived today?" White soldier says
"Oh, you know...weapons, armors and some food." Gemirian soldier counted on his fingers.
"Okay then, we transfer without the problem, you can go." A white soldier gestures him to leave.
"As you say."
Then Gemirian soldier left him. White soldier inspected some crates. After checking about five crates he could feel someone place a hand on his shoulder.
He quickly turned around and shouted. "I DIDN'T DO IT! I SWE-"
White Diamond pinned him down behind crates and places a hand to his mouth in order to shut him up. "Shhh...They will hear us!" she said in a harsh quiet tone.
She then pointed to two Yellow soldiers who are patrolling near crates. Luckily for them, they surround by the crates so that make harder to notice White Diamond.
"Only crates, where White Diamond could be?" Said one of them.
"She could be everywhere...probably hiding somewhere. Let's split up and find the others groups." Said another one.
"Good idea." He replied.
The two yellow soldiers left. White sighed in relief. She released her soldier from her hands. She relaxed her back to the crate while having exhausted breath.
"My Diamond, what's it all about?" The White soldier asks her.
"They are hunting for us private, that's why." She said as she observes surrounding.
The White soldier got confused "What?"
"You heard me good, soldier." She stopped observing "Where is your commander?"
"He is in lower regions of Homeworld, my diamond." He reloaded his rifle.
"Can you escort me to him," White turns her head to him "Please?" She asks quietly
The word "please" got him confused "Of course, my Diamond. But we need a vehicle in order to reach lower regions."
White Diamond points a small flying vehicle. "How about this one?"
"Could work."
They both ran up to the vehicle and take a seat. A soldier takes a driving seat and started engines. The vehicle got up and started to flying across traffic.
"You never explained to me what is going, my Diamond." Soldier checks the GPS map
"Bloody Authority betrayed us!" White Diamond exclaims.
"It very bad situation for entire White court."
White Diamond moved some hair from her face "It is. Thank you for risking my life, it means a lot to me." She said in sweet voice
A white soldier salutes her. Even though he is driving "It's my duty"
White Diamond smiled to him. "What's your name, private?"
"Cut face-"
White Diamond touched his arm "No silly...your real name."
"I don't have a real name. I'm Kindergarden Gem. I'm Gemdler Class: A new class that supposed to replace Rubies in distant future."
White Diamond feels the little bit guilty for asking him. "Oh...sorry." She apologizes to him
He smiled "its okay, my Diamond."
She thinks of a name. "Well...I can call you "Whit" if you want."
"Why "Whit?" He asks her
"Because you're a White soldier, and its cute name. It better than calling facet-cut" White Diamond says
"Okay. I will take it...thank you my Diamond." Whit said with little bit stutter
She kisses him where his cheek supposed to be under his mask and helmet "Anytime Whit."
Meanwhile...
Carnelian's royal ship landed near the Palace. When he got out from the ship. Blue Pearl ran up to him with.
"My lord. I-I heard the news that you and Blue Diamond had a combat." Blue Pearl stuttered
Carnelian raised his eyebrow "And?"
"Is he okay...is he alive?" Her words sound like that she worries about Blue Diamond.
Carnelian smirked "You're welcome"
He gives her pieces of Blue Diamond Gemstone. She looked at them about one minute with opened mouth.
Then she falls on her knees. "Why are doing this to me. Why?!" She sounds like she is crying.
"I killed him and his death gave you a freedom. You are now free from the Authority." Carnelian explains.
"But-"
Carnelian aggressively grabbed her neck. He lifts her up and makes that so her face will be in inches of his mask. "Listen my words you ungrateful Pinocchio! I just gave you a freedom. Do what Pearls normally do and forget about Blue Diamond. Are we clear?!"
Blue Pearl didn't say something. Carnelian squeezes her neck.
"ARE WE CLEAR!?" He hisses.
"Yes my lord." She said, gasping for the air.
"Good." Carnelian hisses
He released her neck. She fell on the floor but quickly stood up and ran away. He could her crying far away but ignored her sobbing. Then Advisor Obsidian and Defender Obristan Approached to Emperor.
"Greetings my lord. I hope that it everything is okay." Defender Obristan salutes
"It's Over. Crystal Gems are done."
"So...its means we won? Earth is defenseless against us?" Obsidian asks.
"Yes, Obsidian. We won...we finally destroyed our old enemies."
"What now, my lord?" Defender asks
"My people want to hear this news. Obsidian, prepare for a speech...tomorrow it will happen. And after that...A new era will begin"
Obristan and Obsidian salute to him.
"For the Empire," They both said on same time.
