Drakken looked at the test cell in his hands, then at Shego.
“Seeya sport.” She said as she shrugged on a green and black leather jacket. “I’m goin’ out. Don’t wait up.”
“Shego…? What am I supposed to do with this?” he asked.
She spun on him. “LOOK! You said you needed some of his tech. It’s important whatever it is. Go run some tests or something…” she huffed as she hopped into her emerald Ferrari. ‘I swear… if I ever get the chance… I’m out of this…’ “Now fuck off! I gotta get laid. Y’know… fucked within an inch of my life… the horizontal Mamba… The…”
Drakken grit his teeth. ‘The bitch! She knows I can’t… since the accident that gave me my intellect… rendered me horny yet impotent… Rgggh!’ He waved his hand dismissively. “Go. Have fun with your new toy… whoever they are…”
Tires screeched as she tore out of the lair.
Meanwhile…
The nanocrystal… grew.
Linkages reached critical mass…
Magic occurred… of a sort.
It woke.
A consciousness was born…

Drakken clamped the cell to his bench and ran some tests… He smiled. ‘Amazing! It’s a living complex of crystalline matter… I can use this.’
As he ran his tests… he got the feeling he was being watched. ‘That’s ridiculous.’ He thought.
The crystal adapted… and began to grow as it fed on the energy fields surrounding it.
It knew that it didn’t like Drakken… for some reason. Signals were beamed into his computer… firewalls were gently pushed aside as data was consumed.
“What the…?”
A silent explosion wrecked the lab.
