Chapter 79
Lady Sakura entered preparatory room used when the Fire Lord required her services. She changed from her own clothes into a replica of Princess Ursa’s nightgown; the original remained in its rightful place in the drawer beside Fire Lord Ozai’s pajamas. After dressing she called for Yuliang’s mother to restyle her hair. Once the illusion was in place she walked into the main room; she had been told it mirrored the room Fire Lord Ozai shared with his wife. He was sitting on the bed wearing a white robe – white, the color of mourning.
She bowed deeply before him, “Milord.”
Ozai’s hand slid across her face roughly guiding it between his legs. She opened her mouth, suppressing the urge to gag as he fucked her mouth then cried out to his beloved Ursa warning her of his impending release. Only this time she didn’t pull back. She kept her lips wrapped tightly around his penis and continued to suck until his essence filled her mouth. She swallowed it then gently swirled her tongue around his penis gradually adding more suction so that it remained stiff.
The Fire Lord regarded her curiously, “Where did you learn that trick?”
“Milord, it is something Katara mentioned she heard the older women in her tribe speaking about,” she moaned as she moved her mouth lower.
“So you seek to pleasure me with barbarian tactics?” Ozai inquired leaning back on the bed and sliding his hips forward.
“Yes, Milord, did you enjoy it?” Lady Sakura replied taking one of his cheeks in both hands and parting them.
Ozai sighed when her tongue slipped between them and she began licking. He roughly grabbed her hair and yanked her head backwards, “Finish it.”
Lady Sakura obediently climbed onto the bed and buried her face in the pillow.
“Roll over.”
She complied silently and turned her head so that only her profile was visible. Ozai lowered his head and sucked her breast through the night gown. Her areolae and nipples were the wrong color otherwise. She bit her lips so her moans came out more high pitched so she sounded more like Ursa. She moved as she had been taught when Ozai entered her. He was a fantastic lover. It was hard to remember to keep her face in the pillow even though she was now also biting it so she wouldn’t ruin his pleasure by giving into the urge to scream in her own voice.
“Ursa, Ursa, my beloved Ursa,” Ozai moaned as he moved harder and faster before spilling himself inside the woman beneath him who clearly was too stupid to even pretend to be his wife long enough for him ease his baser urges.
His beloved Ursa would never do something as uncivilized as letting him ejaculate in her mouth. It felt amazing and if it was something she learned from Katara he didn’t have to worry about a half-breed bastard grandchild, but his beloved Ursa would never debase herself like that.
Ozai rolled off of her and sighed. She had lasted longer than the last one and clearly had better sense, but in the end he would only be satisfied with one woman. “Look at me Sakura.”
The noblewoman rolled over timidly. He had called her name. He never acknowledged her as anyone other than his dead wife when they were in bed. She smiled brightly, “Yes milord.”
Ozai sat up and regarded her. Her hair had been dyed the correct shade. The bone structure was similar but the nose and forehead were too wide and her lips weren’t as plump. “Why did you take my spendings into your mouth?”
Lady Sakura blushed, “Katara told me that to her people swallowing a man’s seed shows how badly a woman wants a man’s child but understands this isn’t the time to have it. I know I will never bear your child as that is the one thing you promised Princess Ursa, but I would like to be a mother.”
She rose to her knees and bowed before placing her head on his stomach. She looked up at him hopefully, “I saw the most beautiful little girl on Ember Island. With your permission I would like to adopt her.”
“You would like to adopt a child? A little girl?” Ozai asked stroking her temple.
“Yes milord. She’s beautiful. She appears to be between ten and twelve so there is no danger of anyone thinking she is yours. She the cutest round face, she has the most lustrous long thick black hair that falls to her waist and she’s blind.”
Ozai sat up straighter, “She is blind?”
“Yes milord, but she appears to be very intelligent. She even reached for me and bowed properly when her grandfather instructed her to do so.”
“She’s blind and traveling with her grandfather. Did you see any other family members?” he inquired deliberately.
“Oh no, Milord, it’s just the two of them. His son died in the war and her mother died of illness so he’s raising her by himself. He appears to be very ancient, but he was strong enough to carry her. I know it is a great privilege to be the caretakers of your summer house, but I would like to give them a better life,” Sakura continued excitedly unaware of the danger she was in.
“I would raise her and teach her everything she needs to know about manners and society. Then when she is old enough I’ll betroth her to Lady Ten’s son. He is a kind boy and aware of his precarious position. I don’t think he will mistreat her,” Lady Sakura added mistaking the reason Ozai’s smile had gotten wider.
“So this little blind girl you wish to adopt and her elderly grandfather are the caretakers of my summer home on Ember Island?” he asked dangerously.
“Yes, Milord, is that a problem. I didn’t mean to offend you or imply it was not a respectable post.”
“Tell me Lady Sakura, have you heard anyone mention what the Avatar’s Earthbender looks like?” he said fisting her hair and snatching her upwards as he stood. She shook her head and tears began to run down her face.
“What does my brother look like?” he growled shaking her by the hair.
“General Iroh is old, fat and short.”
“What did the girl’s grandfather look like?”
“Please Milord, you are hurting me!” Sakura cried frightened.
“What did the girl’s grandfather look like?” Ozai repeated setting her hair on fire.
“Old. He was old. He was Sei’s height and wrinkled. But he wasn’t fat. He was barrel-chested like he’d once been in the military. Both his hair and scalp were dyed to match hers,” She sobbed.
Ozai let go of her hair and tossed her backwards on bed. With the burned tresses she no longer bore any resemblance to his beloved Ursa. He had planned to come in her mouth one last time but he doubted he could get it up for her.
Ozai put on his robe, “Sakura.”
“Yes Milord,” she said hopefully raising her head.
“The Avatar’s Earthbender is a little blind girl. I’ve been told she is most likely around twelve years old and that her hair is as black as mine,” he informed her gathering a fireball larger than her head.
Sakura’s eyes widened in terror. She shook her head begging, “No Milord. Please no!”
Ozai waved his hand releasing the fireball he’d been holding, “I do not have a caretaker for my home on Ember Island.”
He walked out of the room too angry to enjoy her screams. He turned the key and tried the doorknob to make sure it was locked. All of the walls were metal and impervious to fire. They would contain the blaze and ensure it didn’t spread to the rest of the palace. It could wait a few days to send in servants to remove the ashes. He would never need anything in that room again.
Ozai showered and returned to the throne room to finish conducting the day’s business. He fired the emissary from Ember Island who failed to report that his new groundskeeper had reported for duty with a granddaughter in tow as well as the palace guards who let his brother escape in the first place. He left their ashes where they fell a reminder that he would not tolerate incompetence.
He ordered that every print shop in the capital and the two surrounding islands focus on reprinting the image of the royal processional with the Waterbender’s hand between Zuko’s legs as she looked back at her brother and the Avatar riding in a cage. Those were to be dropped over every inch of the Earth Kingdom not under Fire Nation control starting with the cities with reported Avatar sightings.
He would have a master plate of the etching sent to Ba Sing Se. At least the governor in charge there was competent and had not lost the city during the eclipse. They would be able to make their own copies. It was common knowledge some of the rebels worked in the print shop and the misinformation they spread was showing signs of paying off.
He requested all of the police records from Ember Island and the other provinces. It was understood that an immediately replacement be arranged for anyone whose name was found on anything dealing with former summer homes of the royal family, old men and little blind girls.
It made sense why his brother had disappeared the day of the invasion and why several weeks later no one had seen any sign of a lost little blind girl. They were traveling together. Ozai penned a letter to Zuko alerting him of his new development. He crushed it in his fist and burned it.
There was a better way to find out if his son could be trusted.
