Dash and Danny stared at the wolf and it stared back. They had been watching it and when it had woken up had started this staring match. Danny decided to break the ice first, reaching out and gingerly touching the creatures bandages,” I hope you’re feeling a little better. I bandaged you up and all that stuff, but since I don’t know what you are that’s all I could do.” The beast leveled one last look at Dash before turning to him, opening it’s mouth and shocking both by clearly stating,” Merci de votre aide, il est considérablement apprécié. Quant à ce que je suis bon… qui est entièrement quelque chose je souhaiter garder sous des enveloppes. Je suis sûr que vous comprenez.(0)” Danny turned to Dash, baffled,” Is that French?”
Dash stared at the thing before nodding to Danny,”Yeah it is. Luckily for you my mom is French.” He noticed the odd looks he got from him at that and sighed before explaining,” Mom is French but my Dad is heavily European, lots of Scandinavian I think.” He watched Danny nod in understanding before hesitantly turning back to the wolf and replying,” Ouais je suis sûr qu'e tous les deux peut. Mais ummm, savez-vous pourquoi cette dame de fantôme était après toi ?(1)” The wolf nodded replying with a slight snarl in his voice,” Oui. Cette chienne m'a voulu becasue allé mes ‘capacités’ courues dans l'opposé à elle. En lui faisant des puissances démoder et non fonctionnel. Malheureusement elle m'est arrivée avant que je pourrais employer ma puissance de l'arrêter.(2)” Dash ahhhed in comprehension before a small voice piped up, “Um, do you think you can ask him if he speaks English?” Dash jumped and turned slightly startled. He had gotten so involved in the conversation that he had forgotten about Danny. He nodded slowly before turning to his conversation partner,” Désolé mais vous parlez anglais. Mon ami a souhaité parler avec toi et vous comprendre aussi bien.(3)” The wolf nodded and replied in a heavily accented voice,” Oui, I do speak English but I do believe tha’ I will be Vehry ‘ard to undertand.”

He chuckled internally; they had no clue what he could do. This was going to be amusing to see the two fall all over again for each other. Ah, it was sweet though, to see them once more; after decades of waiting the princess and her (or was it his now?) knight were together, well in a sense at least. Beau Loup settled down to wait for the questions that would come, and he would answer…as he pleased.
