Whatever Luna gave me was powerful stuff! (OW, exclamation points hurt too.)I barely got up and my head was pounding all day, but coffee helped. People called me Derpy and it was like I couldn't give a gelding's sack. I snorted and jerked the mail out of their hooves. One stud was being a real sheathhead so I threw his mail on the ground. I flew off then remembered he'd given it TO me. Pfft, he can wait.
Later I felt bad for snapping at ponies, but I had to rush to Princess Luna's. I put on my nicest saddle (Why the haystack needle do we wear those things?) and left.
There was lots of construction noise at her castle and it made my headache worse. I must have done something wrong because she got annoyed. "What's wrong with you?" I started apologizing.
Princess Luna moved in closer. "There there, Bubbly," she said in that sickly sweet voice. Suddenly she nuzzled me and licked my ear! It sent a jolt through me and my mind went blank. Then she turned and told me to follow. My heart pounded and my mouth went dry, which was bad if she wanted me to... you know.
Instead she took me out to the piles of big stones. There weren't any workhorses but I could still hear stuff going on. Suddenly a humongous stone in front of us, like 800 hands tall, glowed and shot up in the air. There were horribly loud noises as sparks flew off it a side at a time, leaving polished faces or finely grooved edges. It hurt my head but the sounds were musical in a way. My eyes couldn't help but follow as the stone shot at the castle like it was going to knock it down, but it stopped perfectly in place.
"This is whom I want you to meet," Princess Luna said, getting my attention. I turned to see a perspiring light blue unicorn with a white mane. I gasped.
"Bubbly Shines, this is My Amazing Student, The Great and Powerful Trixie."
