Chapter VII.

When you were doing nothing but waiting for uncertainty, hours passes like ages. It was certainly true with Danny and Ember who were naked and all tied up in Danny’s own room. It has been few hours since Sam left them to their predicament and somehow they were able to fell asleep. It wasn’t a good sleep though. They kept on waking up every now and then.

“D…Danny… ?”

“Mpf ?”

“Push the gag with your tongue…”

“Mppppf…. Mpf… Mphah !... Man… My jaw hurts…” Danny finally managed to push his gag off his mouth. His jaws felt sore and almost numb. He looked down at his chest and found out that he has been drooling like crazy while gagged.

“… What are we going to tell her, Danny ?” Ember tilted his head, trying his best to look at Danny.

“I don’t know, Ember… I really don’t know…” Danny sighed as the feeling of guilt floods his mind.

“Maybe I should stay away from the two of you from now on…”

“NO !...” Somehow the prospect of saying goodbye actually hurts.

“But-“

“I don’t want to lose you… “ Danny paused, biting his lips. “I… Love you, Ember…”

“D… Danny ?!... D… Do you mean it ?” Ember’s eyes bulged upon hearing Danny’s confession.

“I do…”

“Seriously ?”

“Do I look like joking ?”

“Danny… If we’re not tied up like this, I would give you the best kiss ever….” Amidst the misery, Ember managed to let out a soft giggle.

“And if you told me about you and Ember has special relationship, I won’t do this to you, you know…”

“SAM ?!” Both Ember and Danny shouted in unison.

“Yeah, yeah. I was never away, you know. Watching you guys all tied up were actually fun” Sam climbed the window into Danny’s room.

“Sam… You’re a jerk !” Danny pouted.

“Oh ?... Fine, I guess you don’t want to be freed since you like rope so much”.

“NO !!” Danny leaped to his feet, and tried his best to keep his balance. “Okay… I’m sorry… I shouldn’t have lied and I should’ve told you…”

“Isn’t that better ?. I just want you to be honest, Danny. If you’re happy with Ember then I wouldn’t mind… “Sam paused. “I only want you to be happy, Danny. I can try to make you happy, but if you’re happier with Ember, then I won’t be in your way” Sam smiled and untied the rope that bound Ember’s hands and legs. Promptly, she handed him a towel to preserve his modesty.

“Hey, what about me ?!” Danny wriggled on the spot, signaling that he wanted to be freed badly.

“I’ll leave him to you, Ember…” With that, Sam climbed the window out again and disappeared into the night.

“Uh… Ember… Help ?”

“Heheh….”

“E… Ember… ?”

“Heheh…Ha ha ha ha ha… How the table have turned…” Ember’s laugh sent a chill down Danny’s spine.

“Ember….” Danny cringed and whined.

Instead, Ember just walked toward Danny’s bed, which located on the corner of the room and sits down. He stared at Danny’s helpless figure for a moment. Somehow, he just didn’t have what it take to be mean again. But still, he won’t let Danny out of this easily.

“Well, do you want to be untied ?”.

Danny nodded furiously. His wrists felt numb and he was extremely tired. Right now, he wanted to be in the comfort of his own bed and sleep more than anything else.

“Hop along then, come on, over here” Ember smiled, signaling Danny to hop closer toward him.

“That’s mean…” Danny gulped but eventually, he complied. Carefully, Danny hopped toward Ember. He had to be careful as he didn’t want to plant his face into the floor. It weren’t long hops away from Ember’s position, but it was most certainly humiliating.

“Now repeat after me…”

“What ?!”

“I guess you really like the rope…”

“Okay, okay, okay… Sheesh….”

“Good, now go ghost and repeat after me” Ember grinned, “I, Daniel Fenton or Danny Phantom”

“I Daniel Fenton or Danny Phantom…” Danny recited after forcefully turned into ghost. The anti ghost rope work well, despite being ghost and intangibility, the rope just stay coiled around Danny’s wrists.

“Hereby swear…” Ember continued.

“Hereby swear…”

“That I shall be the best seme for Ember McLain…”

“That I shall be the best seme for Ember McLain…” Danny recited. "I like this one" He thought.

“And shall also be Ember McLain’s uke for one turn after being Ember McLain’s seme”.

“And shall also be Ember McLain’s… WHAT ?!?” Danny’s eyes bulged. "No way !!" He screamed mentally.

“Ghostie no go free ?” Ember picked the scissors that was used to cut his clothing and twirl it around, teasing the helpless Danny.

Danny sighed in defeat and reluctantly say what Emer told him to follow. “And shall also be Ember McLain’s uke for one turn after being Ember McLain’s seme..”.

“Good… Going phantom” Ember transformed into his ghost state. “Charge your Ecto-Blast on your hand, Danny…”.

Danny just complied and charges his Ecto-Blast, but he didn’t fire it away. At the same time, Ember charged his own Ecto-Blast on one of his hand and awkwardly shakes Danny’s tied hand.

“You don’t need to repeat this one, Danny…” Ember paused. “We seal our oath with our power, if one of us should break it, may the oath breaker loses his power”.

Was this a Japanese Anime, Danny would have developed a major sweatdrop.

“Thanks….” Danny sighed in relief after Ember released him from the ropes. Quickly, Danny deposited himself into the bed and fell asleep even before his head hit the pillow.

“Poor Danny…. And poor me too…” Ember winced as he rubs his arse, it was rather sore and it hurts every time he took a step. “Man… I’ll be walking funny for the next few days…” He sighed before putting himself down on the bed, just next to Danny. Slowly, he wrapped his arm around Danny and drifted off to the dreamland.
