“Did you hear something?”
“Nope.”
“I can go check.” He started to sit up. She dragged him back down to lie beside her.
“Nope.”
He smiled and settled back beside her. He pulled her across his chest and kissed her senseless. “So, does this mean that you secretly wanted to sleep with Winston?”
She giggled and shook her head no. “It does not. Why? Does this mean you really wanna sleep with Peter?”
His face got pale. “You just had to go there didn’t you? Well, you looked nothing like a man, no matter what he said.”
She kissed him again. “Well thanks. And I hate to burst your bubble, but you looked nothing like Winston.”
“Yes, I know. I looked like a vampire.”
She laughed and shook her head again. “No. You looked like my Egon, just without glasses and with a different hair color. It will take more than that to make me see someone else when I look into your eyes, my love.”
“Well, it would take more than I can imagine to ever make me see Peter in you. His ‘festoons’ aren’t anywhere near as big.”
She vaguely remembered calling them that and stripping off Peter’s clothes. She hid her face in her hands and laughed. “I don’t think I’ll ever live this one down!”
