MaxJ1800: Thank you. Hmmm, which couples did you have in mind? That lust ray seems to be the best idea out of everything that came out of this fic. Yes, Eileen shall continue her pursuit of Caelum. No, Emma probably won't get mad at Caelum. Eileen was going to try and get herself home before she would have stuck him somewhere else. You'll see how Chuck and The Butcher won.

Prologue

'I remember when I was five how my mother would always bring me to her firm. They called me the law firm's baby. My mother was extremely over protective of me. One day I witness one of the firm's former clients come into the building and start shooting up the place. Apparently, he hadn't been happy with the way they had been defending him in the criminal trial he was tied up in. That was the day I had decided to devote my life to crime fighting.
'I didn't begin my career in earnest until I was eight. I took out the normal criminals, the bank robbers and such scum...,then the super villains came calling. Phantasma was the first. Every time mother moved us, MathWiz would move and set up shop in that city. Then we moved to this city. A city that already had a hero protecting it. I thought we'd be stepping on each other's toes all the time. We found out quite quickly that we worked well together and that's when Team Alphanumeric was born.'
'From that partnership came love. I thought I would be alone for the rest of my life fighting crime, but Becky changed that.' Tim looks down at the body laying in the bed, "Please, don't take her away from me!"

One Week after the election...,

"This way officers." a man states and the police officers follow the man to an alley. What the officers saw would haunt them for the rest of their collective careers. There, laying in a mangled heap, was the body of a woman. Blood had apparently gushed out of massive cuts. The officers didn't want to know what the white substance was that was drying on her body.
"Better get the SVU guys out here...,they'll need to deal with this." one of the officers states.

"Raped, murdered, this poor woman deserved much better." one of the officers of the special victims unit states.
"We all know what this is. He's here. He's finally come to this city." the head of the team starts.
"You mean...?" a third pipes up.
"Yes, probably the most wanted cereal rapist in the history of the nation." the leader states.
"We know his pattern...,he rapes and kills those who are either homeless or live in the slums." a fourth says.
"Yes, then he makes his way up the tax bracket." the leader says. "WordGirl won't be able to help us with this one."

Sally Botsford smiles at the report on her desk. What would have taken months or even years had only taken a little over a week. All the damage done to the city on election day was repaired. The only bad thing was that the MasoRacer was missing. Phantasma and Tobey had their plan down to an art form. Then she hears a knock at her office door.
"Come in!" she says and the police chief walks in.
"Mornin' sally." the chief says.
"Hadn't had your coffee this morning?" sally asks smiling.
"Two days ago the special victims unit was put on a case." the chief starts and places a file folder in front of Mayor Botsford. Sally's eyes widen seeing the name on the file.
"No, it can't be."
"Yes, it is. We don't know who he'll go after though. That's always the problem with this scum bag. We try and watch all the high profile targets but one of them slips through the cracks. I would suggest pulling your daughter from public school and sending her to a private.school."
"I happen to have it on good authority that Becky will be fine."
"WordGirl?"
"WordGirl."
"I don't know if she can handle such a criminal."
"Well, just make sure your boys catch him first."
"That we'll do."
'I'll try and not worry my daughter with this. She's already got enough problems on her plate.' Sally thinks.
"Ahhh! free bbq sandwiches!" Jeff shouts from somewhere in city hall.
'This is going to be the longest term in office I've ever had.' Sally ponders and starts rubbing her temples.

"You look like a man with a lot on his mind." X² says to Tim.
"That news cast...,"
"Don't tell you know...,"
"No, I've never had the displeasure of facing off against a rapist."
"Then why the concern?"
"Just because I never faced him doesn't mean that I don't know his pattern. He starts from the bottom and works his way up to the highest profiled girl he can get his hands on."
"Becky?"
"You're damned right Becky." Tim quietly states. Caelum could see the fire behind the other X weapon's eyes.
"Good, that's what I like to see from my brother."
"Did Emma get mad when she found out that you were...,"
"She was understanding...,but she warned me not to enjoy myself if that happens again." the two start laughing at that.

"Look, maybe, for now, we should table the matter of our new name until we can come to some sort of argument. We've got bigger problems than our name anyway." Two Brains states. The group of villains had been arguing for hours on what to call themselves.
"Yeah, like Phantasma steeling both the Hoboken Diamond and the gold MasoRacer!" Granny May rants.
"That rookie, beginner, up start has out done us because she's got Tobey working with her!" Lady Redundant Woman complains.
"Lady Redundant Woman, didn't you at one time make an evil copy of WordGirl?" Two Brains asks.
"Yes, it was brilliant, a stroke of genius, and a smart plan, before WordGirl defeated her."
"Now hear me out everyone, since Chuck and The Butcher will be helping us on city council, we make our own evil version of Team Alphanumeric."
"That sounds Whamm!" The Whammer shouts smiling.
"We combined your copying abilities with my newly acquired skills of robotics to make better copies of WordGirl and MathWiz that are totally loyal to us and are just as evil as the lot of us." Two Brains says grinning.
"Two Brains, I was worried that this little group would fall through with two of us missing, but doc, that's the best plan I've ever heard!" Granny May celebrates. "Mr. Big would never let us do something like that."
