(SD92: I think I’m realizing my issues with fanfiction, I’m one of those authors that readers hate I start stories and don’t always finish them. I could have noticed this a long time ago but It happened during the last chapter. I spend so much time trying to figure out where to go next in a chapter that I stop writing the darn thing. It took me six tries to finish the last chapter but dagnabbit I finished the chapter after deleting everything repeatedly. Yay me? Lol. Rape is implied, BDSM appears in this chapter you can see when it’s coming up if you just want to skip that part. It’s a very mild description.)

Vlad’s POV

I gave up on cleaning and sat on the bed staring into space, all the quick emotions the willingness to throw our past away, push for a friendship everything made sense. It had been so hard being seen by Danny in that state but now I understood why as broken as I felt why I was sort of happy. Happy that Danny.......my....mate was there for me my heart started aching I shook my head no I couldn’t slip back into depression. I had to show him I was worth his time, James be damned. I wanted him to care for me I have been so lonely lately now I knew why. I got up to clean I needed to focus on something until he got back. As I scrubbed one of the bathtubs I wondered how I would ask him to stay with me instead of his friends. I dropped the sponge and looked down at the growing tent in my pants.

I shook my head as my body responded to the thought. I leaned my head against the side of the tub all these years I could have developed a life and gotten laid was quickly getting the better of me. I grabbed the sponge again, this was the last thing that should be on my mind after what happened....we just started trying to be friends....he wouldn’t be interested in doing something that would hurt me. I banged my head on the side of the tub to clear my head.....one of them anyways. My head shot up as I heard a crash downstairs, well there was one way to kill an erection. ............................................................................
Normal POV
Danny tossed the mostly empty container of popcorn as he walked to the bathroom outside Tucker was stuffing the rest of his gummy worms into his mouth. Sam crossed her arms.
“Tucker, you’ll choke eating like that.”
“Will not....” he started coughing and Sam rolled her eyes and handed him his soda.
“Sam, Tucker!” They looked up and frowned seeing Valerie coming toward them.
“What is it?”
She huffed.
“Jeeze you could be a little more friendly you two.”
“You hurt our best friend what do you expect?”
She scoffed.
“Oh it’s not a big deal, where is he?”

Vlad went downstairs he paled a little seeing the window was broken, he walked toward it but didn’t get very far before he felt a sharp pain in his back he fell and twitched. James walked out of hiding and smirked as he watched him squirm. “Oh my....darling little Vladdy you really should have done what I asked last time, oh well I suppose it is more fun for me when you disobey.” Vlad twitched as he stared at James wishing Danny had never left.

Vlad’s POV
I tensed as I felt needle pains, I opened my eyes and they widened as I blinked away the blur. The pains were literal I looked like a pin cushion, I looked around the dark room I was tied to the wall. I tried to pull at the restraints my screams at the electric shock alerted my captor. I whimpered as James walked into sight I took a breath.
“J....James....”
“Oh did you have a nice nap love?”
I chewed on my lip I didn’t even see his arm move as he slapped me across the face, the burning sensation told me he used a whip. I spit the blood from my mouth out and looked at him.
“I asked you a question love.”
“......It was fine.” I said quietly.
James took out a cigarette and lit it.
“So tell me, who is that other guy you’ve been hanging around?”
“He’s just a friend....”
“Really? I don’t know anyone who has ever wanted to be friends with you.”
I tensed, did he really have to rub it in while I was in this state?
“We’ve known each other for a long time....someone my age doesn’t make friends with kids.” James laughed.
“So he’s younger than you, I didn’t know you had a thing for younger men, I wonder if he’d still be interested in an older man with his nipples pierced?”
I paled, he wouldn’t.
He pulled a small container out of his backpack and out of that container he brought out a piercing gun.
Of course he would....
He walked over and grabbed his lighter and held it under my nipple.
“It’ll go through easier if I heat up the skin a little bit.”
“James please.....don’t.”
“Sorry love, I don’t do favors for cheating bastards.”

Normal POV
Danny was being a good sport and said Valerie could eat with them if she wanted to he didn’t really care. As they were getting in line he heard someone call his name he waved at his sister.
“Danny, I’m so glad I found you, you have to talk to dad.”
“Does he even want to talk to me?”
“Yes we had a real breakthrough.....oh sorry hi you guys.”
“Don’t worry about it Jazz, you guys should go.”
“But I gave you guys a ride.”
“You guys can borrow my car I’ll ride back with Danny we need to talk before we get home.”
She gave them her keys and they thanked her though they really wouldn’t have minded taking the bus instead.
“And remember if you need back up tell us.” He dropped into an over exaggerated Kung-Fu pose they laughed as people started looking over, he really had no shame.
The group separated and Jazz cleared her throat.
“Dad finally admitted his problem with Vlad, I didn’t realize he was upset about me changing my major, to follow in Vlad’s footsteps.”
“That doesn’t make sense, shouldn’t he be proud?....Vlad is successful he always has been.”
“Of course, he’s helped me with a few of my studies, I would love to be a therapist but at the same time I’ve always wanted to start my own company.”
“He’s really just jealous then.”
“Yes, but he agreed to apologize if you will just listen to him after.”
“He’ll apologize first?”
“He’s trying to be an adult.” They got in his car and jumped as Dani greeted them from the back seat.
“Hi Dani.”
“Hey Jazz, how’s it hanging Danny?” He smiled at her and started the car.
“So what brings you here Dani?” Jazz asked.
The young girl liked to travel and hated sitting still it was always a surprise to see her.
“I bumped into Clockwork and he was busy so he asked me to come talk to Danny, but it won’t take long.”
“What is it?”
“Congratulations! I just knew you were perfect for each other.....well after you set aside your differences.” Jazz gasped.
“I didn’t know you preferred men too! Why didn’t you say anything?” Danny blushed darkly.
“I....no no we’re just friends I never did anything with him.....”
“Clockwork said you were mates, destined to be together he told Vlad today but you had already left.”
“Mates? Is this like a ghost version of the animal lover system?” Jazz asked.
“Uh huh uh huh.” Dani said excitedly.
Danny stopped as the light turned red.
“Well I guess that does explain why it’s so easy to get along with him now...” Jazz threw her hands around his neck.
“Oh Danny I’m so happy for you, are you going to announce your love for him tonight?”
“Yeah yeah, are you?” Danny shook his head.
“Our relationship is really fragile, I don’t know if I love him I just want to protect him and keep him happy if I can.”
Dani leaned forward and toward Jazz.
“Forgive me if my kid brain can’t process this but that sounds like love to me.”
“Oh no, you’re definitely right.” Danny rolled his eyes and ignored “both” of his sisters as the light turned green, he knew he wanted to get closer to Vlad but he didn’t know if he loved him. They had been enemies for so long he wasn’t sure if it mattered that they had known each other so long. He was looking forward to seeing him though

Vlad tensed as a bucket of boiling hot water was thrown on him he was no longer hanging up he was laying on the ground. He coughed and shook his head to shake the droplets from his eyes. He whimpered knowing the sting in his wounds came from more than just hot water. He couldn’t do much else his throat was damaged. He looked down and saw that the needles had been ripped out he had little red marks all over his body. James had given him a few cigarette burns on his limp member aside from the other things he had done to him he was currently feeling those wounds the most.
“You should know better than to fall asleep when we’re playing.”
Vlad breathed heavy he tried to push himself into a sitting position his body ached in protest.
“Remember who you belong to love, get up and clean yourself up slut.”
Vlad’s eyes grew heavy as he lit another cigarette.

Danny was leaning against the counter talking to his mother, it had been awkward but he could actually talk to his father now. He felt a shiver run up his spine he felt he really needed to check on Vlad. He grabbed his cell and called Vlad, when the older man answered he frowned he sounded terrible.
“Are you alright Vlad?”
“Fine.....I was just napping.....”
“Sorry I woke you, I was worried.”
“......It was just a nightmare...I’ll be fine.” he said weakly.
“Why don’t I believe you?” Vlad couldn’t answer he took a breath.
“Don’t worry about it Danny, did you have fun with your friends?”
“I did, now stop trying to change the subject.”
“Will you stay here with me?”
“What did I just say.....what?”
“Will you live with me?” he repeated quietly.
“Of course I will.”
“I’ll talk to you when you get home then.” he said relieved.
He hung up and Danny stared at the phone worry in his gaze, Jazz put a hand on his shoulder.
“Is everything okay?”
“I don’t know.”
