The sun was just starting to rise over the horizon as Twilight stepped out of the library. No other pony was out, which was a good thing. If any pony saw who was about to appear in front of her home all eyes would be on it.
And maybe a couple of ears as well. Above her head, dark clouds began to appear without warning. They began to circle above the library like birds of prey that had found a tasty meal. After a moment or two lightning shot out of the clouds and struck the ground a few feet away from where Twilight stood. Twilight covered her eyes on instinct and when she opened them she was staring face to face with the night princess. “Greetings Twilight Sparkle,” said Luna. “May we come inside?” “Yes, of course,” said Twilight as she gestured towards the door. “Your letter caused a bit of a stir,” said Luna as she walked into the tree home. “When I first saw your letter, I thought that there had been some kind of mix up.” Twilight let out a sigh. Several hours ago she had learned that Princess Luna had been the author of the Pony Sutra. Naturally she had been surprise. No, that wasn’t the right word for how she felt. Shocked was closer. Anyways Twilight had many questions. Some were about Luna and how she came to write such a book. Others were a bit more personal dealing more about how to do some of the things she had read. Knowing that the Princess was up, Twilight decided to write her a letter and woke up Spike to send it to her. The letter was simple, asking that when Luna had some time the two of them could get together. Luna answered right away saying that they could meet at dawn. And now here they were, in Twilight’s living room. “I must say Princess, your speech has gotten better since we last met,” said Twilight as the two sat down. “Thank you,” said Luna with a small smile. “When I first returned after my banishment, my sister wanted to introduce me to the world slowly and limited my interaction with other ponies. Since we never us the royal we or voice when we are alone, I guess it just slipped her mind to tell me that they were no longer used. And please, just call me Luna when we alone like this. I do consider you to be a friend.” “Really?” asked a surprised Twilight. “Indeed,” said Luna with a nod. “When I returned to Ponyville for Nightmare Night, you were the only pony who seemed to remember that the darkness within me was gone. You were the one who did the most to help me feel welcome. Even after I lost my temper, you still refused to abandon me. You cannot imagine how glad I was to find some pony out there like you.” Twilight blushed, not used to such praise. “Now then, what was it you wished to speak to me about? I am sure it wasn’t to see how I was doing.” “Right,” said Twilight. “Well, I recently came into possession of a book you wrote and I just wanted to talk to you about it.” “Oh,” said Luna as she raised an eyebrow. “I was sure all the books I had written before my banishment had been destroyed. Which one is it? Was it ‘Prelude to the Night’ or ‘The Truth About Stars’? Oh, I do hope it was my book of poetry!” Twilight smiled nervously as she used her magic to pull out the book and held it before the night princess. Luna stared at the book for a moment, her mouth open slightly. “A thousand years and this is the only book to survive.” “Sorry,” said Twilight, not knowing what else to say. For a moment, Luna just stared at the book. Then, taking the book with her magic, the lunar alicorn held it close to her. Slowly she began to run her hoof over the cover as she closed her eyes. “This book brings back a lot of memories,” she said at last while opening her eyes. “I finished writing it only a few days before I became…well you know. It’s funny really, he convinced me to write this book saying that ponies would love it. I thought it would be tossed into the fire places within a week of being published.” “He?” asked Twilight. Luna’s eyes widened for a moment before looking away. She hoped Twilight would let it drop, but the unicorn just continued to look at her waiting for her to speak. Finally Luna sighed in defeat. In truth, she would rather have one pony know the real story. “Very well,” said Luna as her horned glowed. A moment later a tea set appeared before the two of them. Luna then poured then both a cup and then took a sip. “The story of this book took place a thousand years ago. Back then, the only pony who noticed me at all was my sister. At first we would set some time aside so that we could chat and enjoy ourselves. Yet, as time went on, our time together became shorter and farther apart. Celestia became more and more stressed due to the pressures of running a kingdom. Naturally I tried my best to help but since so few ponies attended my court nothing could ever get done.” “But why not?” asked Twilight. “I mean, wouldn’t it have been better for every pony if they attended the Night Court?” “True,” said Luna with a frown. “It is sad to say that in a thousand years, one thing has remained the same: the selfishness of nobility. They did not wish to lose a moment of their beauty sleep. “As this continued, I felt more alone than ever. Ponies inside the palace ignored me and the ponies outside slept through the nights I created. I soon found myself looking for anything to ease my solitude. That’s when I decided to ‘rent’ some company.” “What do you mean by ‘rent’?” asked Twilight. “I hire some male prostitutes,” answered Luna as she looked away slightly. Twilight’s eyes bulged when she heard this. “B-But you’re a princess!” she all but yelled. “Wasn’t it illegal?” “Not back then,” said Luna. “In those days it was a bit more common, especially during the colder months. A mare would do whatever she could to help her family, even if it meant sleeping with strangers. I managed to find a few stallions who kept our meetings secret and were, to their credit, very good in bed. They provided me with a quick fix from time to time. Each one was different. One would always dominate me while another would let me be in control. One would just eat me out until I came and another would perform anal sex. You get the idea. Each one showed me a different area of sex. I even went to a mare from time to time. “Now, this continued for awhile. I wasn’t happy, but I wasn’t miserable either. Then came the night when everything changed.” +Flashback+ Luna was at her desk, currently working on the military budget. In all likelihood no pony would ever see it unless it had Celestia’s seal on it. At the same time she didn’t want any pony to think she was shirking her duties. And if they did find out they would go to Celestia and complain to her that Luna wasn’t doing her job. Suddenly the doors to her room opened and in walked Celestia. Luna turned to greet her sister yet stopped when she saw her face. The sun princess looked tired and upset. There were several rings under her eyes, most likely from a lack of sleep. Luna knew that right now there were delegates from several kingdoms including the Hippogryph Republic and the Griffin Empire. Right now the situation was a bit tense due to a trade agreement between the various parties. Celestia had called them all into neutral grounds, hoping to help solve the despite and to prevent any hostility from taking place. However, no one at the table seemed to agree on anything that she proposed. Not only that, she had her own official duties to attend to as well as raising and lowering the sun. Luna had offered to help in any way she could. Celestia had smiled at her, telling her little sister that she could handle it but thanked her for the offer. That had been three weeks ago. “Sister, what pray tell tis this?” demanded Celestia in a somewhat harsh voice that caused Luna to flinch. A moment later Celestia pulled out several documents that held Luna’s seal on them. “Those are for the Winter Moon Festival that I am planning,” said Luna as she took several steps towards her sister. “It would be something like thy Summer Sun Festival.” “Why was it on my deck?” demanded Celestia. “Well, I had planned to show it to thou when thou weren’t so busy. Yet I have not seen you since the delegations began. So I thought-“ “So you thought you would put them on my deck with other important document!” thundered Celestia as she threw the paper on the ground. Luna looked down at them, her mouth open slightly before returning her gaze at her older sister. Celestia was now giving her an imperial look, one that told her not to speak. “We are in the middle of a crisis and thou brings forth this rubbish?! We have no time for thy selfish desires to be seen. Think about the common pony for once! Now, bother us not with such trivial things ever again!” With that Celestia left the room, slamming the door along the way. Luna sat there as tears rolled down her face, hitting the papers below. She had worked on those papers for almost two weeks. Did Celestia ever read them? Luna was then suddenly filled with the urge to get as far away from the castle as possible. In an instant she ran towards the balcony and flew off into the night. Luna flew with all her might. Below her the homes of the citizens of Equestria passed in a blur. She didn’t care nor seem to notice that she was flying towards the outermost region of the kingdom. All she wanted was to get as far away from Celestia and the rest of the world that cared nothing for her. Finally, after what seemed like a few moments to Luna, she landed near what seemed to be an orchard of some kind. She then looked up at the moon with a look of pure hate. “Why?” she cried out. “Why did thou have to be thy special talent? Tis this what was meant for me? To be hated and ignored for all entirety? Nay I say. Better to die here and now than to live out all eternity in the dark.” Just then Luna heard the snap of a branch behind her. She turned around to see a stallion standing behind her. He was a large earth pony with a dark blue coat and a black mane. For a moment the two just seemed to stare at each other. Then he spoke. “Sorry to interrupt, but I saw something fly down over here and thought I’d check it out. Don’t get many ponies around here during this time. You’re not hurt, are you?” “Nay,” said Luna as she shook her head. “We are unharmed. But, to be honest, we have no idea where we are. Would thou be so kind as to tell us our location?” “Why you’re in Farmer’s Haven of course. Best farm land in all of Equestria. My name, by the way, is Peach Grove.” Peach Grove gave her a friendly grin which caused Luna to be a little unsure on how to respond. No commoner had ever treated her like this before. Like she was there. Deciding not insult him she did her best to mirror the stallion’s smile. And for a moment, the two just stood there waiting for the other to say something. Finally, Peach Grove decided to speak up. “Ah, would you be so kind as to tell me your name?” Luna blinked in surprise. “Thou does not know to whom he speaks with?” asked Luna as she raised an eyebrow. The stallion shook his head which caused her to sigh. In all honesty, she didn’t know why she was surprised. If no pony even bothered to pay any attention to her back home, why would they pay attention to her out here? “Very well then. Thou shall address us as Luna.” “Luna,” said Peach Grove as he scratched his chin. “That’s a pretty name.” Luna blushed lightly, never having any pony tell her say something like that to her. “Thank you. Pray tell, what is thou doing up at this hour? Shouldn’t thou be asleep?” “Nope,” replied the earth pony. “I’ve always worked at night.” “At night?” asked Luna in disbelief. “Yep,” replied Peach Grove. “See, I’ve always hated working in the day. Because my coat is so dark I end up overheating too quickly. Which means I have to take more breaks in order to cool down so less work gets done. Then I figured I should just work at night when it’s cooler. Best idea ever. I get my work done a bit faster and on by breaks I get to see a beautiful sky!” “T-Thou really thinks so?” asked Luna eagerly. No pony had ever said that her sky was beautiful before. When he nodded she gave him the biggest, most sincere smile of her life. “Well glad to see that you’re alright,” said Grove as he began to turn around. “Now I better be off. Still got a lot of peaches to collect.” “Wait,” said Luna suddenly. Grove stopped in his tracks and turned around to look at her. Luna was unsure shy she had said anything. Maybe it was because she had finally found some pony who liked the night sky and she simply didn’t want him to leave so suddenly. Or maybe she just didn’t want to be alone at that moment. Taking a deep breath, Luna began speak. “We are in need of a place to stay of awhile. In exchange for helping on thy farm, would thou allow us a place to stay?” Peach Grove stared at Luna for a moment. Truth be told he had never seen an alicorn before. He had heard that their ruler was one, but that was it. There were also some stories that the parents told their children but he was too old to believe in them. He also noted the fancy way she spoke. She had to be nobility of some kind. Normally he would have politely told her no, but he was concerned about what he had heard earlier. If something happened to her because he sent her off on her own then he would never be able to forgive himself. “Well, if you’re willing to get your hooves dirty then I don’t see why not.” -x- Three weeks later, Luna found herself walking to the market next to Peach Grove. It was early morning and the stallion next to her was pulling a large cart full of the fruit they had picked. As they passed other ponies, several of them began to whisper to each other. It wasn’t about Luna being an alicorn for she had used her magic to hide both her horn and wings. What they were whispering about was the fact that Peach Grove was walking in the daylight with an attractive mare next to him. For Luna, it had been an interesting three weeks. She had expected the work to be easy, using her magic to pick the peaches off the trees. However, Peach Grove refused to let her. He said that the work had to be done with their own hooves otherwise the peaches wouldn’t taste the same. Luna didn’t understand why that was, but didn’t argue with him. Instead she just climbed that latter she was given, picked a single peach with her hooves, brought it down, and then gently placed it in a barrel. Still, in the end, it was all worth it. During their breaks the two would look up at the stars or they would pause in the middle of their work to watch a meteor shower. When the day began and they would go inside to rest from a hard nights work he would praise her. Plus, it turned out the Peach Grove was an amazing cook! Despite all the work, Luna was having the best time of her life. As for Peach Grove, he was also enjoying himself. Due to when he did his work he didn’t get much time to spend with mares. Now, every night he spent it with an exotic, beautiful mare. Also he was getting twice as much work done. Sure, Luna could be loud at times and didn’t seem to get a lot of things that were simple to most ponies, but her heart was always in the right place. There was always one thing he never really understood. Each day, Luna’s horn would begin to glow as the sun rose. He also noted that it also began to glow as the sun began to set. Maybe it was an alicorn thing. Soon the two arrived that the local fruit vendor. His stand was simple, a single table and behind it were several barrels of fruit. The vendor looked at the two as arrived with a wide grin. “Hey there Nightmare Bait,” said the vendor with a laugh. “It seems the rumors are true. There IS a mare in your life.” The vendor then began to look at Luna like she was an apple on display. As if he were looking for any imperfections that would decrease her worth in his mind. Personally she found it very annoying and wanted to smack him. Finally, he gave a nod of approval. “She seems like a fine mare.” “So glad we have thou’s approval,” said Luna in an icy tone. Grove let out an embarrassed laugh as he began to unload the cart. “We aren’t really together,” said Grove. “We’re more like…” He then stopped and began to look at Luna. What were they exactly? They were more than roommates and she meant more to him than some farmhand. He wanted to say friends, but… “We are staying at the home of Peach Grove,” said Luna calmly. “Whatever else that goes on between us and Peach Grove is none of thy business.” “Well nice to know who’s in charge,” laughed the vendor. “Isn’t that right Nightmare Bait?” “Why does thou call him by such name?” asked Luna with a raised eyebrow. “Oh it’s just a little nickname,” said Peach Grove as he finished unloading the cart. He then walked over to the vendor and began to collect his bits. “I got it partly because I work at night.” “And when he was little he would go outside at night when any pony dared him to,” said the vendor with a laugh. “We would all watch to see if Nightmare Moon would get him!” “Nightmare Moon?” asked Luna. “Who is this Nightmare Moon? Is she a resident of this community?” The vendor gave her an odd look. “You have never heard of Nightmare Moon?” he asked. Luna shook her head and the vendor sighed. “I never heard of any pony who didn’t know about Nightmare Moon. Parents tell their kids about her so that they’ll stay indoors and go to sleep. See, the way my mother told me is that if you go out at night Nightmare Moon will spot you and eat you up.” “How dreadful,” said Luna as she fought not to roll her eyes. Perhaps this was the reason ponies stayed indoors when the sun came down. In a way it did make some sense. Parents wanted to make sure their foals got plenty of sleep so they created some kind of imaginary monster for them. And then, when they got older, they stayed indoors out of habit. “Yeah, and I hear that she looks kind of like Princess Celestia,” continued the vendor. “I mean, she had wings and a horn. And when she wakes up, she makes it dark so that ponies have a hard time finding their way and raises the moon to act like a search light. But she only does this once Princess Celestia falls asleep because, once she wakes up, she over powers Nightmare Moon and takes the sky back. Then she-are you ok?” Luna stood there as tears filled her eyes as she realized the horrible truth. She was Nightmare Moon! Now she knew how the common ponies saw her. She was used as a boogie mare to scare foals! They hated her! They feared her! What had she done to deserve this? What horrible thing could she have possibly done that would lead ponies to think she would? She helped fight Discord and King Sombra, and THIS was how she was to be remembered! Not wishing to stay another moment Luna speed off as her tears began to roll down her face. “Luna wait!” called out Peach Grove. As the dark blue stallion ran after her, the vendor scratched his mane. “What’s her problem?” Peach ran after Luna at top speed, however he quickly lost sight of her. It wasn’t until he reached his home that he finally found her. She was in the room he had let her use during her stay. Her disguise had vanished revealing a weeping alicorn on the bed. Slowly, Peach Grove moved closer to her. “Luna, please tell me what’s wrong,” said Peach Grove in a soft tone. “Everything tis wrong,” she wailed. “Every pony hates us!” “Where did you get such an idea?” Luna did her best to stop crying as she got up to look at him directly in the eye. “We are the one thou calls Nightmare Moon,” she said as she fought to contain her tears. Luna said nothing more as she allowed what she said to sink in. She could see the wheels turning in the stallions head as he began to see what he should have seen in the first place. She then began to prepare herself for him to lash out at her, yell at her, or run away in fear. But instead he broke out into a grin. “Really?” he asked. “You’re really Nightmare Moon?!” “We dislike that name,” said Luna as her sadness was replaced with anger. “We also dislike the grin on thy face. Is thou amused by our plight?” “No,” said Grove but the grin remained. “It’s just that I always wanted to meet you. And now I’ve found out that not only have we met but you’ve been staying in my home for the last couple of weeks! It’s like a dream come true.” Luna felt her jaw drop. She hadn’t expected this reaction. “How can thy say such things?” she demanded. “Are we not the creation of thy parents to care young foals?” “Well kind of,” admitted Grove as he scratched his mane. “And I was scared of you for awhile like every pony else. I was even afraid to go to bed without a curtain covering the window! But when I finally looked outside at night I saw a whole new sky that was so much more beautiful than anything else. The stars provided me with games which I played for hours like finding shapes. “As time went on, I wanted to meet you because I thought you couldn’t be as bad as my mother said you were. No pony who could make anything that beautiful could be. So I would go outside at night whenever the others dared me to. Sometimes I went out without the dare. I did it so that one night I could meet you face to face and say thank you. But then my mother told me that you weren’t real. Just a story she was told when she was little.” “And,” began Luna, “are thou disappointed now that thou has met us?” “Nope,” said Grove. “In fact, you’re even more beautiful than I imagined.” Peach Grove would have said more but he found himself unable to do so as Luna had closed the gap between them to kiss him passionately. His eyes widened at first, put closed as he soon began to return the kiss. The two soon began to groan as Luna’s tongue began to explore the stallions mouth. Peach Grove soon lost all track of time as the kiss seemed to go on forever. After who knows how long Luna pulled away and Peach Grove opened his eyes to find himself on his back with Luna above him with a hungry look in her eyes. “If our memory is correct we are supposed to ‘eat’ other ponies,” she said in a lusty voice. Grove gulped, wondering what she meant by that. Luna snickered slightly as she began to lower her face to his chest. “Lets see what thou tastes like.” With that, Luna began to place light kisses over the stallion’s body. From time to time she would give a spot a light lick as she made her way down slowly to the stallion’s lower region. She could hear his breath quicken as she neared his member causing a smile to appear on her face. When she finally reached her destination the night princess was pleased to see it standing ready for her. She started by giving the head a small kiss before licking the shaft. Her licks were slow as if to savor the taste of his stallionhood. Peach Grove moaned loudly from the pleasure which made Luna happy. She knew he was loving this more and more with every lick. It pleased her to see him pleased. She continued her treatment of his cock for a bit longer before she paused for a moment and then took the whole thing in her mouth. Peach Grove’s eyes widened as his breath was caught in his thought. Her mouth was so warm and felt so good. It was hard to describe. He could feel her mouth sucking on his member. He could feel her tongue wrapping itself around his cock as her head bobbed up and down slowly. His mind was still reeling from the fact that she was doing this to him! “Luna,” he groaned. “I’m going to cum soon!” Luna heard that and began to double her efforts. She added more force to her suction and her head began to move faster. Then with a jerk of his hips Grove came into her waiting mouth. Luna masterfully swallowed it all, savoring the taste. Peach Grove lay there panting believing that it was down. Oh how wrong he was. Luna curled up next to him and began to kiss and suck on his neck as her hooves played with his slightly limp member. “We’re not done yet,” said Luna is a sexy voice into his ear. “We wish to feel thou inside of us.” The next thing Grove felt was Luna’s tongue tracing along his ear causing him to moan. In no time he was hard again. Luna saw this and kissed him on the cheek. She then began to position herself over him. Using her magic, she held his cock so that it would be easier for it to slide into her. “Luna, wait,” said Grove. Luna paused for a moment as she looked at him. Slowly he took a breath. “I just want to say something before we continue. I-I love you Luna.” Luna heard these words and felt her eyes water slightly. Never before had any stallion told her this. They had told her that they loved what she was doing while in bed, but nothing else. “We shall reward thy, beloved,” said Luna as she lowered herself upon him. Both of them gasped at how good it felt to be connected as they were. Luna, despite her past experiences, was still tight. Grove fought hard not to cum right away as he felt her warm and wet insides. As for Luna she had felt bigger, but his size didn’t matter. It just felt so much better. Slowly the two began their dance of love. Luna began to move slowly, so very slowly up and down as she savored each movement. From time to time she would move her hips in a circular motion which would cause the two the moan. Luna could soon feel the sweat dripping down her face, but she ignored it. Right now all that mattered was making this feeling last for as long as possible. Finally, Grove called out her name as he shot his load deep inside her. Luna felt the warmth spread inside of her which caused her own orgasm. The wall of pussy tightened around his cock as it did its best to milk every drop of cum it could. And when it was over she laid down next to him. For a while neither of them spoke. They just laid there, basking in each others warmth for what seemed like an eternity. “Luna,” said Grove after awhile. “I-I don’t want you to go.” “When did we ever say we would?” she asked. “But aren’t there ponies looking for you?” Luna thought about this for a moment. In three weeks she had heard nothing from the castle. No news that would imply that Celestia was looking for her. Life back there was continuing as if she had never left. As long as she raised the moon that would probably continue. “Nay beloved,” she said as she snuggled next to him. Right now, as far as she was concerned, she was home. -x- Sorry it took so long. This chapter was, at first, going to be nothing more than Luna showing Twilight about anal sex. However, I ditched that and started over from scratch. The truth is that I never felt satisfied with the reason the show gave us for why Luna turned evil. This is how I think it really happened. More sex in part two! While AFF and its agents attempt to remove all illegal works from the site as quickly and thoroughly as possible, there is always the possibility that some submissions may be overlooked or dismissed in error.
