Got another request for Suki a good while back, so here we have her again, this time with Toph. Sorry for the long wait.
Summary: While resting for the night on Serpent’s pass, Suki spends some time getting to know Toph better.
A Night with Suki 2
   Suki snuck out of her tent. It was late and Sokka and the other’s were all asleep. But Suki wasn’t concerned with that. She was more interested in the only other member of their group who was also still awake.
   Off to the side of their campsite was an earth tent, made and occupied by Toph. Even though she had only just met the blind girl, Suki found her very cute and had grown fond of her in the short time since they had met.

   Once they were alone, Toph turned to face Suki. “Okay, so mind telling me why we had to wait until after everyone else was asleep to talk?” She asked, a bit annoyed that she had to stay up past the usual time she liked going to sleep. Suki blushed, “Well, it would be embarrassing if anyone caught us together, especially with why I wanted to be alone with you.”
   Suki swallowed the lump in her throat, she beginning to feel a bit nervous. And while Toph was unaware of the blush on the other girl’s cheeks, she was more than able to sense the increase in Suki’s heartbeat. Curious, Toph said nothing and let Suki continue.
   “The thing is, I think that you’re really cute. Cuter than a lot of other girls I know. And if it was alright with you I was wondering if you’d…”
   “Wait a second. You aren’t going to ask me out are you?”
   Suki’s blush grew. “Actually I am. That doesn’t bother you does it?”
   “No, it’s just I thought that you liked Sokka.”

   “Hmmm, nope sorry. I’m not really too crazy about the whole ‘committed relationship’ thing. And trying to keep it secret would just make it more of a pain in the butt for me.”

   Toph smirked, “Wow, you’re kinda shameless about this. I like that in a girl. Okay, count me in. To tell the truth I’m getting tired of playing with myself every night.”
   Suki giggled “Trust me, after this that won’t ever feel the same.” She said just before leaning in for a kiss. Toph sensed her closing in and readied herself for it, meeting Suki’s lips with her own. The kiss was soft and short, a fact that left Toph less than pleased with it.
   “That’s it? I thought this wasn’t supposed to be a kissy, lovey-dovey relationship.”
   “It isn’t” Suki replied, “I just didn’t want to rush you since this is new for you.”
   Toph snorted, “I’m not some sweet little wallflower like Katara, I can take whatever you can dish out. Plus just because I’ve never done this before doesn’t mean I don’t know what to do.
