Chapter 6: Tale of the Jade Monkey Talisman

“Yori?”

Ron looked at the two young Japanese adults before him as did Kim. Both of them were surprised that both Students from the school at Yamanucchi’s has shown up at Narita International to meet the two young adults from America. But what was even more surprising is that Kim Remembered both Hirotaka and Yori...

Kim of course knew Hirotaka from the last time they had met in Middleton, and what was even more surprising was that Kim could see that Hirotaka had gotten more handsome then the last time she had seen him over a year ago. In a way Hirotaka had helped almost upset her friendship with her and Monique, but in the end, Hirotaka had fallen for another girl, and Kim and Monique realized that fighting over a boy wasn’t really then answer, considering the girl Hirotaka had chosen was her high school archrival, Bonnie Rockwaller. But in the end, Kim had complete let Hirotaka go and do what he needed to see fit.

Ron though was amazed at how Yori had become more shapely and athletic since he had been to Japan, but even Kim knew about Yori. It had been on a mission before Kim and Ron had become a couple that Kim and Yori’s paths had crossed. Of course Kim did have some jealous feelings towards the young woman before her, initially but after the mission it had appeared that Yori had decided to let Ron Stoppable be Kim’s boyfriend. But Kim really held no animosity towards the Young Japanese woman, in fact in a lot of ways, it was partially thanks to Yori that Kim and Ron had become a couple.

“So Stoppable-san, and Possible-san” Yori began, “We have come to help you stop Monkey Fist.” Ron Cringed a little when Yori said this, “Ewwww Yori,” Ron Began, “You know how I hate monkeys.” Kim Rolled her eyes to the skies, and Yori giggled a little as she knew that Ron was interjecting a bit of humor. “Oh Ron-san,” Yori said, “You are still as humorous with your American style jokes as you were when we were together.”

Kim gave a half hearted smile as she watched both Ron and Yori pick up right where they had left off. And yet Kim felt a twinge of jealousy. Yes Jealousy. Kim remembered the first time she set eyes on the so called ‘Rival’ thinking that Yori was going to steal Ron from her. After all Kim did have feelings for Ron, As A friend Kim Initially thought but as she realized later on, it was a lot more. Somehow Kim felt that Yori was the gentle breeze that fanned their passion.

A Passion that to Kim had ignited brightly and had burned brightly for the last few months, but now the breezy attitude that Yori had worried Kim, as she was afraid that she was becoming Jealous again, worried that Ron would Wander away from her. But then Kim realized that Ron had been the right man for her all along. His wit, his goofy charm, and even his shy nature turned her all hot just thinking about him, and as she looked once again at Yori and Ron talking again like old friends, Kim no longer felt jealous.

Yet Kim could also sense that Hirotaka was eyeing Ron and Yori as well as her, and she wondered how Ron would feel if she told him that at one time she had gotten a crush on the Young Japanese man.

Of course Kim had never told Ron what she had done for Hirotaka the week he was in Middleton for her… One day during one of their crushes Kim had given Hirotaka some Manual pleasure, they were out in the park and soon one thing lead to another as Kim had done Hirotaka with a simple ‘Hand Job’. Ron and Yori were still happily chatting as she walked up, “So can we get the word on the latest news of Monkey Fist?” Yori smiled and bowed. “Sure Kim-San we can get going I'm sure Ron-San wants to catch this villain as much as we ourselves do." Hirotaka smiled and directed them to the waiting black sedan.

As the four Young Adults got into the Black sedan, Kim and Ron took the back seats, while Yori slid into the Passenger side front seat, Hirotaka got in on the Driver’s side, and all four Young adults fastened their seatbelts before Hirotaka drove them from the airport and onto the expressway that lead into Downtown Tokyo, as the car moved down the expressway towards the heart of Tokyo.

Passing through the Ginza, the crowds and people passing were a living slide show, Kim snuggled up to Ron, putting her arm around him, and sighing deeply, his face looked so peaceful, she gently kissed his cheek, and he grinned that big silly grin. “Uh KP, what was that for?” Ron asked as he looked at her. She laughed and put her hand in his. “Just because I love you.” Kim replied. Ron blushed and pulled Kim closer to him.

Yori began to brief Kim and Ron as to why they had been summoned to stop the villain. “So Yori,” Kim began to ask the young Japanese woman, “Why would Monkey Fist really want an Jade Artifact thingy?” Kim said with a bit of questioning in her tone,

Yori Just smiled and replied, “What Monkey fist is seeking is The Jade Monkey Talisman. The Talisman is in fact part of the Entire Yamanucchi Collection, and is only second to ‘The Lotus Blade’.”

Hirotaka then spoke up, “The Jade Monkey Talisman was also a possession of Lord Toshimaru, Founder of Yamanucchi, and is in fact said to have ‘mystical powers that are used in conjunction with those who have mastered the art of Tai-Xing Pek Kwar, or what is better known to you as ‘Monkey Kung Fu.’

Ron shivered at the word monkey but he felt better about the art now that he had had time to study it more. “So this talisman thingy gave the user like mystical powers?” Hirotaka nodded.

“Legend states, that one of the powers of the wearer of the Talisman is that he has the ability to control all forms of Simians, “Hirotaka said, “Be they Apes, Gorillas, Monkeys, or even chimps.”

Yori then Continued as Hirotaka continued to focus on the road ahead. “Legend also says that there are other powers that are within the Talisman. Powers that give the wearer the abilities that affect the human body in strange and Mysterious ways, in fact no one has been fully able to unlock these ‘Human abilities are save for one person. The original owner of the Talisman, was Lord Toshimaru himself.”

Kim looked at Ron she considered all the training he had put himself through since a certain incident and asked. "So do you think Ron’s ability with the lotus blade makes him the one to use this talisman?" Yori consulted with Hirotaka, and she replied. "We believe that Ron-San is the true inheritor of the Jade monkey talismans’ powers, but now we fear that Monkey Fist will use its awesome power to enslave the world to his evil will.Only a true master of Tai-xing Pek kwar can unlock the talismans power.” Yori said to the American couple as Kim raised a eyebrow and regarded Ron with a knowing eye.

"So your saying only a monkey kung-fu master can uses this talisman thingy to make all monkeys everywhere his servants? Sounds like monkey Fist’s M.O. alright.” Kim quipped. Ron looked strangely at Yori a second, and it was as if she wanted to say more but resisted doing so.

Yori considered telling Ron the rest of the legend as she knew it, but had discussed it with Hirotaka before hand, and they had decided not to say to much, in case Ron wasn't the one to unlock all of the talismans’ powers. As Hirotaka pulled up to the curb of the museum, and they all got out of the car. Ron spoke up, "So how did you know we were coming Yori?” Yori smiled and explained, “I know a certain person who goes by the name ‘Samurai Jack’ online, and he has been in contact with your friend Wade. He was the one who told me you would be here today Ron -San."

Ron Smiled with a goofy look on his face, before he decided to ask Yori a more personal question. "So how have you been doing in your studies Yori?" The Young Japanese woman smiled as she and Ron walked up the stairs of the museum with Kim and Hirotaka following behind. "I have completed my primary training, and have moved on to the advanced stages of the arts, Ron-San.” Yori replied.

Ron grinned like a fool, amazed that Yori had not only gotten more beautiful in the last year but also had become more skilled. Meanwhile as the group walked up the stairs to the entrance of the museum, Kim who was walking behind hm, started to talk to Hirotaka in near fluent Japanese.

Ron looked back over his shoulder at Kim paying more attention to how skilled Kim had become in the art of Japanese conversation. "Hey KP, how come you’re so fluent in Japanese?" A puzzled expression passed over Ron’s face as he wondered at Kim’s ability to speak the language. “Remember much,” Kim said as she looked at her boyfriend, “We had Japanese last semester Ron, and well while I paid attention, sadly you slept through most of it."

Ron Just Grinned, “That’s true Kim, but I thought also that the Japanese Class would also teach us Sumo Wrestling and even how to eat sushi,” Ron replied as Kim yet again rolled her eyes upwards in a ‘Why Me’ Look as the four Young Adults entered the museum.

Once inside, Kim and the others were met by the head of the museum’s security team. The Security head explained to the four young adults, that during the day before in the evening, a band of gi clad monkeys had attacked two of his guards and had carried off one of his female security officers. Kim asked who was behind the incident and the Security head explained that they were being directed by a strange looking man with rather strange looking hands and feet. The captain then showed the four young adults into the security surveillance camera room and the as Kim, Ron, Yori and Hirotaka watched the footage of the tape, it told the tale, as Monkey Fist, was indeed the culprit involved in the theft of the talisman, and the kidnapping of the female guard.

Yori Frowned a little as she watched the tape of the incident. Seeing Monkey Fist steal the talisman was one thing, but this confirmed something that Yori didn’t want to speak about .. at least not yet, “This is far worse then I fear,” Yori began, “If Monkey Fist has the Talisman, controlling monkeys to do his bidding is the least of our problems.
Kim looked at yori with a concerned look, “What do you mean?” Kim asked.
Yori continued, “Because if Monkey Fist has the Talisman and is able to unlock the remaining powers, the ones that deal with the human abilities…” Yori paused for a second, “It could be far worse for all of us.” But Ron put a gentle hand on Yori’s shoulder, and smiled a little.

Kim finished questioning the museum security chief before she turned to Ron, “So Ron, What do you think?” Kim asked, “Ron looked up at Kim as he could see that she was eyeing him warily, as she could see that Yori was a bit distressed by what she had seen, “Uh Kim, why don’t you and Hirotaka check out the crime scene while I talk to Yori,” Ron said before he sheepishly added, “and Yes Kim I promise I won’t cause any,” He paused a moment before finishing his sentence, “Monkey business.” Kim chuckled inwardly to herself as she thought Ron had the strangest ways at putting things. And as Hirotaka left with Kim, to check the actual crime scene, Ron looked at Yori with Concerned eyes as he tried to find out what Yori was talking about.

Yori shivered at Ron’s touch, she could remember his touch and it brought back a sweet memory, she continued explaining though was a little concerned. "The complete powers of the talisman were only known to one man, but legends say it could control the minds of those of the opposite sex."

When Ron heard what Yori said, his mouth almost dropped as he pulled Yori aside with a look of surprise on his face, “Wait a sec,” Ron said, “You’re telling me that the Talisman is not only a way to control monkey’s but is also some sort of aphrodisiac?” Ron Asked the young Japanese woman.

Yori shook her head “No, not like that,” She told him so that Kim would not know what the powers were, “Ron-san the other powers of the Jade Monkey Talisman must not be used by Monkey Fist, for if he is able to unlock those powers, he will be irresistible to women, and they will be forced by his will alone. ” She whispered.

Kim thought to herself as she eyed Hiro doing this and it had been something that he did that attracted her to him, but then she again thought about the incident back in Middleton, a Year previous, and once again the guilt of that incident where Kim gave Hirotaka a ‘hand job’ made her realize that she would need to tell Ron eventually about everything that happened to her the week he was away here in Japan, while he was spending time at Yamanucchi.

As the Two young adults Arrived on the crime scene, Kim pulled out her Kimmunicator an flicked it on, The Screen flickered for a moment, before Kim’s Webmaster, and tech genius, appeared on the small PDA Screen, “Whadd’up Kim?” Wade asked, curiously as he sat eating a bit of nacho cheese chips. Kim smiled as she continued to eye Hirotaka as he crouched down low to examine the floor with a careful ninja eye. “Wade could you scan the area around the pedestal please and thank you?" Kim asked with a slight smile on her face. Wade typed in a few commands in on his keyboard and a moment later, a scanning beam emitted out of the Kimmunicator and swept over the area in front of her.

As soon as the scan was completed, Kim held the Kimmunicator and saw that wade had finished his chips and was now sipping soda, and typing on his keyboard soon brought up what his computer had found. "Kim I'm detecting monkey hairs, and a set of fine scratches on the wall, leading up to the skylight above you." Wade Said, to Kim.

Kim looked up at the open skylight and then as she brought her head down to talk again to wade, she noticed that Hirotaka had stood up and had walked over to where the scratches were. Kim could see the connection between the two events and then smiled that she had a decent genius working for her. "Thanks wade,” Kim said as she turned off the Kimmunicator.

Kim then walked over to where Hirotaka was standing as he was closely examining the marks on the wall, “Hirotaka,” Kim Began, “Can you tell me what made the scratches?” Hirotaka’s trained ninja eye could tell what the scratches were, and nodded to the young female.

“Hai, It was a set of koga, commonly called climbing claws used by ninjas.” Kim noted that usually with monkeys that they would use hand and foot holds usually to scale walls but without any of these within the museum, the Only way for them to climb some 30 feet to the skylight would be if the monkeys themselves had the items on hand.

“Let’s get back to Ron and Yori.” Kim Said to Hirotaka, as she thought about all the information that she was trying to piece together. As they Continued to walk back to the Security camera room, Kim looked at Hirotaka again, Figure I might as well tell him now before he learns that Ron and I are now dating, Kim thought to herself, it was then that Kim decided to speak up, “Hirotaka,” Kim Began, “Look about Last year…”

Meanwhile back in the security camera room Ron thought that by learning what Yori had told him, he would have seen the young woman relax after telling him all about the powers of Lord Toshimaru’s Jade Monkey Talisman. After all Ron could comprehend the reason as to why Monkeyfist may have wanted the talisman, considering he himself was a monkey master. But as he looked into Yori’s Almond eyes, he could see that something else was bothering him as well and the thought then crossed his mind that maybe it was time to let Yori know the truth that he and Kim were now dating, no not just only dating, but also they were in love.

“Ron-san,” Yori began.

“Yori,” Ron Said at the same time.”

“I just wanted to tell you something.” Both Ron and Yori said in unison.

Both Ron Laughed and Yori giggled by the slight mixed communication both of them had, “You first Ron-San,” Yori said. Ron shook his head, “No No, Ladies first.” Ron Replied.

Yori sighed as she looked at Ron. After all the Gai-jin Boy looked cute to her, as she thought back to that previous year how that during the week she was with him, he had taught her some of the American ways, as she had taught him some of her Japanese ways,

She then turned her attention to Yori, “Yori,” Kim said, “Are there any nearby temples or shrines that have possibly a collection of these Koga?” Yori Nodded and then gave Kim the answer she was seeking.

"I think that we might be able to find further clues at a place called The Hidden Snow Monkey Shrine, which is in the mountains.” Yori explained to Kim and Ron. The Temple is host to a number of Ninja weapons and is also like the Museum.

Kim then replied, “Well knowing Monkey Fist, this shrine sounds like the place he would go to set up shop.” Ron Nodded as he looked at his girlfriend before she spoke up, “Is there a place Nearby the shrine we could use as a base of Operations?” Kim then asked. “Hai, Possible-san,” Yori replied, “There is a Hotel just a few miles from the shrine and would be a perfect place to use.” Kim then nodded and Looked over at Hirotaka, “Why don’t you drive us out there so we can get set up, With that the Four young adults left the museum, got back into the car, headed out of Tokyo towards the mountain hotel, so that the group could prepare.

Within a couple of hours foursome had arrived at the hotel. Kim Ron and Yori got out of the car and Hirotaka was about to do the same when he heard his Cell phone ring, Quickly pulling it out of his pocket, he flipped it open and spoke into it. “Mosh-Moshi” Hirotaka said, then listened as the voice over the other end of the phone told Hirotaka something. Hirotaka then looked Kim, Ron,and Yori, waiting for him. “Yori-san,” Hirotaka began, “I shall be indisposed of for a few hours as something has come up.” The young man replied, “I suggest that you and Possible-san, along with Stoppable-san go after Monkey Fist, I shall be back later this evening. With that Hirotaka then put the car into drive and he drove off leaving the trio to check into the hotel to prepare for the mission at hand.

Meanwhile at The Hidden Snow Monkey Shrine, Monty Fiske, better known as Monkey Fist, was a happy man, as he placed the jade monkey talisman around his neck and thought his commands to his monkey ninjas. They jumped up and immediately did what he had thought at them to do. Monkey Fist grinned evilily as he could see that the Talisman’s powers were true to the legend.

“Ah now I can rule the world!" He Cackled as he started to laugh maniacally. He was proud that he had been able to steal the Talisman that Lord Toshimaru, the master of Tai-Xing Pek Kwar, had at one time owned. He then smiled again and gave another order to his ninja monkeys to bring in the hostage that he had captured, he was going to see if some of the other powers that he had read about were true as well.For Monkey Fists other plan was not only to take over the world but to rather rid himself of one troublesome teenage heroine, known as Kim Possible, and what was even better would be that he had planned to kill her, while his true rival, Ron Stoppable, would watch in horror as he did so. But first he wanted to have a little fun.

Monkey fist had heard of the talisman while doing research on all potential artifacts that had dealt with Monkeys and the Mystical powers of ‘Monkey Kung Fu.” But now that he had the talisman, he felt invincible, but first he wanted to test the true power of the talisman, with a thought he ordered 5 of his ninja monkeys to bring in the hostage he had captured from the museum.

The female security guard was led into the room, the Woman was nervous almost terrified of the man who was dressed in a black gi, and who had the genetically altered hands and feet of a simian standing before her.. As she looked at him, he smiled and told his monkey ninjas to release her. The monkeys did as he told them before he ordered them to leave.

He then turned his attention to the woman before him. “Ah I see that you have been treated well,”He sneered.“But now I am going to have a little fun,” he paused for a second before he finished, “With you,” With that he concentrated and gave the woman a silent Command,
