“Whoa, did not see this coming,” said Nino as everyone looked at Adrien and Kagami with shocked expressions.
“Same, I mean I could see Adrien wanting to pair up with Mari but why do you, Kagami?” asked Alya.
“The truth is that while I was dating Adrien I also grew feelings for Marinette, and given our current situation I thought saying the truth would be for the best,” said Kagami as she blushed, which was completely unlike the normally stoic girl.
“Well I think that you two killed her,” said Juleka as she pointed at the stone still Marinette who was as red as a tomato and her mouth was quivering.
“I take it that you are unsatisfied with my confession,” said Kagami. At hearing this, Marinette snapped out of her shock.
“N… no that’s not it,” said Marinette.
“I… I’ve had a crush on Adrien since that day he gave me his umbrella when it was raining, but I also started to fall for you as I got to know you, Kagami,” she said.
“Hang on, I thought you wanted the two of them to break up,” said Alya.
“I was confused actually, I wanted the two to break up but at the same time I didn’t because they are nice together… and I think what I actually wanted was to date the both of them,” said Marinette while looking down at the floor.
“This just keeps getting more and more surprising,” said Max.
“So, does that mean you’ll let us be your partners?” asked Adrien. By this point Marinette was too embarrassed and just nodded her head.
“Guess that leaves me with Chloe,” said Luka while looking over at the still unconscious girl.
“No, I have someone in mind to bring in as her partner, and yours will be here tomorrow, she’s coming from America,” said Marinette.
“Great, does that take care of everything then?” asked Zoe.
“There’s actually one more thing,” said Marinette before getting her bag and taking out some small glass containers.
“Once we drink these we’ll never be able to reveal each other’s identities, so there will be no need to worry about Hawk Moth finding out,” she said.
“Wait, did you have these the whole time?” asked Adrien as they all took one.
“No, I just recently found them in Master Fu’s things that he left me,” said Marinette.
“What are we going to do about Chloe?” asked Max.
“Just open her mouth and force her to drink it,” said Kagami.
“I’ll make sure she drinks it later,” said Zoe.
