Lucy fell back onto her bed, her arms spread, legs out, the biggest smile in the world on her lips. She breathed out in absolute jubilation. This weekend, no this entire week had been positively fantastic. The plans she’d formulated to ensnare her brother’s affections were proceeding apace. Things had worked out even better than she could have hoped for. She knew Lincoln was in a state of confusion now when it came to her, but that was perfect. It was all part of the plan, to press him out of his comfort zone, to take advantage of his raw and vulnerable state and plant the seeds for the future within him. She just needed to keep pushing, slowly, delicately, but deliberately and lovingly through that fog of confusion, past the line of societal taboo and straight into her warm embrace. One where he would never suffer, or experience doubt again.
Gazing up at her canopy she couldn’t help but feel giddy. She wanted to kick her feet, clench her fists and squeal, her heart felt so full, she was so overjoyed with the emotions in her. While she’d been slowly acclimating Lincoln to her presence more and more, slowly making him more comfortable with her body pressed against his own, the trip to Big Pleasant and the harvest ritual had shown her she’d been far more effective than she realized.
Lincoln had been aroused by her. This was more than just him walking in on her when she was changing, he had seen her body, chased her and seemed as if he was ready to claim her right there in the woods! He’d been so happy, she could hear it in his voice. He’d been so excited, she could tell by how eager he had come after her. He had looked at her as a woman and lusted after what he saw. She had practically melted when she’d felt his lips and then his TEETH, his TEETH against her neck. He’d bitten her, in such a raw, animalistic and sensual manner. Her panties had been practically ruined from the experience, but she knew she had to cut him off there. It had been far to early, and if it went to far he most likely would have rebelled and her plans would have been dashed.
She’d done the reluctant action and stopped him from going to far. Even as she recalled the absolutely delightful sensation of his hard length pressed against her rear. She knew without a doubt now, he was the one. He was the one who was always meant to claim her. She just needed to keep working him, convincing him, and showing him who had his best interest at heart. She was the girl who would accept all of him, and never leave his side.
She envisioned it, her love, it was an inky black pool. His heart only needed to descend within it, to be coated in her own, encased within her shadowy embrace. The night in many ways had been even better than the chase, because there was no deception involved. He had accepted her coming into his bed, even if the symbolism was lost on him and it was a sleeping bag. He had accepted her embrace, even seeming to enjoy it.
No, that was wrong. He DID enjoy it. She had been aware of the evidence and thinking back to it made her bite her bottom lip and press her thighs together in need. She had managed to hound him mentally and emotionally so much that day, she had driven him to the very limit of what was acceptable for siblings to do. She knew each time she was pushing that limit a little further and further than before. Pretending to be his girlfriend, holding his hand, giving him multiple kisses throughout the evening. She had battered his defenses, worn them down like a hurricane hitting a house on the coast.
She had driven him to do that. She had pushed his body to the limits of lust, and he had been unable to control himself. She’d so carefully built up the pressure valve within him, he had needed desperate release. So she had pretended to be asleep. Pretended to be unaware as he worked for that desperate relief from his shameful lust. It had made her own thighs slick, but she didn’t dare make any move then. It was still to early, as maddening as knowing what he’d been doing right next to her was. She was certain he had felt shame after he finished, and her heart ached in sympathetic pain. She just had to keep peeling at the layers of that shame, removing them one by one.
She almost felt bad for him. Almost. She knew she was manipulating him, purposefully pushing the boundaries and knowing his loving nature and eagerness to make her happy was what made him accept everything. But she needed to do this, Lincoln was innocent, and he would never come to the conclusion she was his soulmate on his own.
No, without her encouragement and direction her poor brother would continue to wander aimlessly, alone, unsatisfied, and unloved. Well, his family would always love him, but only she would love him in the way he deserved to be.
She wanted to worship him, even if she knew she had to control him a little to allow her to do so. She already knew from observing her mother and father’s interactions, men liked it best when they thought they were in control. There was a political term for it, one she’d learned from Lola of all things. Soft Power.
Controlling something through subtle and persuasive measures. She was exercising soft power on Lincoln, just as her mother did so to their father. Their father was the head of the household, but Rita influenced more of his decision making than he realized. She just needed to do the same with Lincoln, she had to make him think it was his idea for them to be together.
She laid back again, a smug little smile on her lips still, already dreaming of the future. They’d have to hide their love from the family of course. While they both lived in the house together, they would have to sneak around to truly enjoy one another. But that wouldn’t be too difficult. They both had their license and Lincoln even had his own van.
But when she was able to move out and go to college on her own, well, wouldn’t it make more sense for her to move in with him while she went? Wouldn’t she be safer with her big brother than living on campus?
And if she happened to fall Pregnant because she went to a party and made a poor decision? Would her family blame her if she wanted to keep the child? It would just be so fortunate that she was with her supportive loving big brother. Oh, the family would of course expect Lincoln to help his little sister in her time of need without question. That wouldn’t raise any eyebrows at all. ‘Uncle’ Lincoln and her raising their child together. Their daughter. Yes, Lucy was certain it would be a girl. One with pretty white hair like his.
She already had a name picked out.
She was getting ahead of herself. Yes, it was fun to fantasize and imagine their future life together, but she still had more work to do. It was to early to take a victory lap. She only had an overwhelming victory in the first battle for his heart. There were more battles to fight. No slouching now. No giving any ground. No allowing him to rest or question things for even a moment.
She just knew the next two weeks were going to be difficult. Youma-con was going to be the next big ‘attack’ from her on the front of his heart. She already had it planned, Haiku just had to come through for her again, and she had no doubt her best friend would. Haiku only had to influence Clyde, and Clyde would do nearly anything for his little Sushi roll.
It would be difficult to go to sleep tonight with how excited she was. More though, it would be difficult to go to sleep now that she had experienced what it was like to doze within the arms of the boy she loved.
It had reminded her so much of the times she had done so when she was younger.
How old had she been when she did it for the first time? 5? While he was 8. How did she know she wanted to go to him, and not any of her older siblings?
Lori would have been the most logical choice, the eldest and most responsible. Lori wouldn’t of said no, she knew she’d let the other sisters share her bed a number of times. She knew even Lincoln had done so himself more than once even.
But out of everyone, it was Lincoln she wanted when she was so young and so fragile. Her big brother was the most comforting presence in the times when she had been scared. Maybe it was because he was male, and instinctively she was drawn to that energy to protect her. That felt a little sexist, but Lucy had no problem with being a woman, or even the gender roles of a woman. It fit her gothic sensibilities.
More likely though, it was simply because it was Lincoln, and even at that young age he’d demonstrated a willingness to be there for any of his sisters when they needed him.
That had continued over the years. Every time she had a nightmare, or every time she just could not stand her roommate sister Lynn, she had bunked with Lincoln.
He had absolutely no shame in holding her, smiling at her, and giving her so many sweet and innocent kisses when they were young. When you were smaller, scared, and uncertain, big brother Lincoln would hold you tightly and tell you he wouldn’t let anything hurt you.
The last time she had done so, before the previous night, she must have been 12 and he was 15. Back when he and Ronnie were a couple.
She remembered it hadn’t been nearly as comfortable as the previous times, and now she wondered. Did he feel shame then? Did having a girlfriend back then make him less willing to embrace her when she had wanted his love so desperately then?
He hadn’t been cruel, but he didn’t hold her, he didn’t kiss her and tell her everything was going to be okay. He had only smiled and told her she could sleep next to him, and pet her hair some before going to sleep himself.
That had been the last time. That had been the delineation in his eyes. She was no longer a little girl, and she could no longer hug him whenever she wanted and no longer kiss him anytime she pleased. It had broken her heart. She’d never told him, but it had broken her heart when she had realized it.
Now she had changed that. She had forced him to see the truth. There was no age limit on a little sister wanting affection from her big brother. That had been the new rule she had established, or rather she had destroyed the former rule.
Lincoln could no longer make excuses. He had given in to her when she wanted him that night. Now he wouldn't be able to deny any simple request for a hug, or for a kiss, or for the simple ability of her to press her body to his and enjoy the sweet sensation of his warmth.
With all of this in mind, Lucy was able to finally find sleep. Tomorrow was the start of another week at school, but it was the continued operation to seduce her brother and make him her life's mate.
Monday, Great Lakes City
The Clock radio's alarm kicked on reading 08:00 am, and a high pitched male voice was already speaking, “Coming up next on 95.4 Great Lake's Punk Radio, we have the classic from The Cult. 'She Sells Sanctuary!' I like to say, if you have the right girl in your life, she'll always be your Sanctuary! Hope you're all having a great morning here in the Big city!”
The slow initial guitar riffs, gradually building in strength were the perfect wake up for the girl who rose as the proverbial figure offering Sanctuary. When the drum line hit she was jumping out of bed, yawning and rubbing at her eyes, and giving a big long good stretch. She was the type that needed to jump right outta bed when her alarm went off, otherwise she'd end up falling back asleep.
She didn't bother shutting off the clock radio, she liked this song, and let it play as she began her morning routine. It was always nice to start the day off with a nice rockin' tune like this.
The 19 year old girl was clad in a long violet Fear shirt, and a pair of dark violet panties. Her pretty caramel skin reflecting the morning light as she found herself casually bouncing up and down to the music as it played.
Her little room hadn't changed much in the 8 years since she'd moved from Royal Woods to the Big city. She'd had the opportunity to upgrade to her brother's old room when Lori and He had moved into one of the apartments downstairs shortly after they were married, but she had never seen a real need to. She had everything she needed here.
Space wasn't the issue, it was privacy, and she got that in her little oasis.
She continued her bouncing and jamming on her feet as she made her way towards the bathroom to get prepared for the day. Luckily her classes at Fairway University didn't start until 10, she'd time things just right so her bathroom in the apartment building would be the most free, avoiding the traffic of her cousins, aunt, uncle, grandparents and nephew and niece as she prepared herself for the day.
Ronnie Anne stared at herself in the mirror looking over her features. Her long dark hair was shaved completely on the right side of her head, and several purple streaks shot through it where she'd had it dyed.
Ronnie was a beautiful Hispanic girl, standing at 5'8 with an athletic body that came with her hobby of skateboarding, something she'd been doing since she was 11 and had never given up. Her breasts had gotten bigger, bigger than she really wanted, resulting in her needing to use a sports bra regularly to keep them tamped down and out of the way while she was skating. Her hips were wide as well, she had the fabled 'Latina booty', but it really wasn't anything special to her, much as she was complimented on it by certain female family members who were happy she'd taken after them. Her large chocolate eyes were deep and carried an air of mischief about them, complimented by the freckles just underneath them.
The purple streaks were no longer as bright as she wanted them to be, she made a mental note to stop at the salon later on and get a touch up. Wouldn't be right to let her self expression get faded like that.
She had fully embraced the skater punk ethos as she got older, which marked her somewhat as an oddity among the rest of her family. Some of her family members thought it was just a phase she was going through when she was younger, but Ronnie had only embraced it more as she had gotten older.
She was as anti-authority as they came, and in the rebellious sound of Punk, it's D-I-Y ethos and the more culturally aware parts that wanted to bring about positive change, she found all the things that suited the tomboy just right.
Her friends of course accepted this part of her, and some of them were even drawn into it as much as she was. Nikki in particular was right along side of her and the taller girl was often her partner when it came to hitting the underground music scene, and showing off how it was done on a skateboard. While her best friend Sid was still the same lovable dork she always was, she got why Ronnie liked it so much and didn't mind at all participating, or just hanging out and watching Ronnie skate.. Of course, it wasn't all just about Punk, she still had a soft spot for Korean pop and would geek out over the latest hits right along with Sid.
But this had led to some awkwardness in her everyday life.
Ronnie didn't fit the cultural stereotype of what a Hispanic girl from the city was supposed to be. She didn't fit the stereotype of what a Skater-Punk girl was supposed to be either. Being able to speak both Spanish and English fluently, proud of her Mexican heritage, but with a love of the Punk sound from Britain and New York, she stood out.
She was uniquely Ronnie.
Which has caused her love life to be, well, a little complicated.
She just wasn't interested in the typical Chollo who embraced Machismo culture like her younger cousin Carlino, and while there were also plenty of sweet Hispanic boys just like her big brother Bobby, she'd yet to meet any that really caught her interest.
Then there were the white boys. It seemed either they wanted to date her just to prove they were social justice culturally woke, or they just didn't get her and were too intimidated by her.
And she was an intimidating girl! She understood that! She was aggressive, spoke her mind without hesitation, and had broken more bones over the years than most guys did in their lifetime.
But while she was on track to get her degree in social work from Fairway university, recently Ronnie began to feel as if she was... As if she was just spinning her wheels, and didn't know why.
Maybe it had something to do with her last relationship which had ended about 3 months ago.
That had been with Tom, one of Fairway's Golf scholarship pros. Tom had started off interesting enough, he showed he had a brain in his head, which was something that was important to Ronnie when it came to attraction. But Tom? Well as time went on he'd tried to exercise more and more control over her.
He didn't like her going out to the Clubs and moshing. He didn't like the fact she still insisted on skateboarding in her free time. He thought it was a childhood activity, something she should have given up by now.
As much as she had admired his passion to be a Pro Golfer, and the fact he cared about social issues like she did, he just didn't know how to handle a girl like her. He was intimidated and felt emasculated by someone like her. Rather than accept her and rise to the occasion, his insecurity led him to try and force a demure femininity upon her she just didn't possess. She had to end it with him eventually, when she saw her potential future with him devolving into being a devoted wife that just shut up and did what she was told.
And that was the problem with all of her relationships.
The guy was either too pushy, or too passive. They either eventually felt threatened by who she was and all of her activities and wanted to put a stop to it, or they had no backbone at all and let her walk all over them. That wasn't what she wanted. She knew she could be aggressive, and she knew she could be a little controlling, but she wanted someone who could keep her in check, and tell her when she was going overboard. Someone who understood her, and could put up with the chip on her shoulder, but stand tall when they needed to.
She frowned.
She knew where she was going with this.
Where her head space went every time she got like this.
It really wasn't fair. How the fuck was she supposed to keep him out of her mind when his damn sister was married to her brother and lived in the same building as her!?
It wasn't like she didn't like or even love Lori. Lori was great! That blonde honestly made her big brother the happiest guy on earth. She was far more intelligent than him. She was damn smart and ambitious as hell, but for some reason she adored her older brother. Her stupid sweet simple older brother.
Bobby had gotten a degree in business and yet his greatest ambition was to take over the family Mercado and be a father to his children. Lori was the ambitious one with her Law degree and working as a public defender as part of a small but stable firm in the city.
But as far as Lori was concerned, the moon and sun rose and set on her husband Roberto Santiago.
So much so they had two children with a third on the way.
Lori had embraced being a Santiago and by extension a Casagrande. She fit right in with the rest of the extended family, and Ronnie adored her niece and nephew Lian and Marco. They were adorable, and Lori was so insistent on them learning both sides of their culture. She wanted them fluent in both English and Spanish, and wanted them to know both their Mexican and Scottish heritage.
The blonde had even started learning Spanish a few years ago after their first child, Marco was born. She could only have halted, stilted, heavily accented conversations in it, but it was something that made the girl even more endearing to the Casagrande family.
In a way, she was jealous of her brother and Lori. They were the sweetest saccharine love story she'd ever heard of and they made her teeth itch with their interactions. High school sweet hearts who never had eyes for anyone else but each other. Who still called one another 'Babe' and 'Boo-Boo-Bear' years into their relationship.
But the problem with Lori, well it wasn't Lori's problem. But the problem was, Lori had a brother. One younger brother among 9sisters.
One single brother who was like a constant thorn directly in Ronnie's heart whenever she let her guard down and remembered the rest of Lori's family. The rest who were attached to her maiden name of Loud.
That damn, stupid Pendejo Lincoln Loud.
The boy she had been completely infatuated with for years, the boy she had loved more deeply than any other in her life. The boy who had broke her heart into a million pieces that had taken months for her to recover.
When ever her mind would begin to drift back to the white haired boy she would force it down, down deep and away in her head. Locked up, back into the closet.
It wasn't like he was a major part of her life anymore. He just had been a major part of her life. One of the most important parts. But they hadn't spoken to each other in three years.
They weren't even friends on social media anymore. She only knew what was going on in his life in passing, through snippets of conversation between Bobby and Lori, or the occasional update on Clyde's page.
She offhand knew he was just as much the Dork he'd always been when they last saw each other. Just seeing the occasional picture of him on Clyde's social wall, he apparently still loved dressing up and going to comic-cons.
Some girls might have found that childish and think he should of grown out of it by now, but Ronnie? No Ronnie found it adorable still. Cute. He was just so damn passionate about his interests, it matched her own passion in hers.
And at one time, she had been one of his primary interests, and the primary source of his Passion.
Ugh! Shut up Ronnie Anne! Shut up and get him out of your mind!
Ronnie finished up showering, getting dressed and prepared for the day. Throwing on some torn and well worn blue jeans, a black flag shirt, and her favorite purple hoodie, she finished things off by lacing up her converse sneakers.
She didn't want to go to class with a heavy stomach, so she made sure to dodge her Grandmother before the old woman offered a 'light breakfast' for her and ended up feeding her enough food for an entire football team.
Taking the fire escape outside her room down the building, she figured she'd stop in at the Mercado attached to it and say Hi to her brother. She could grab a banana for breakfast too while she was at it.
The Mercado had been through some changes since her brother and her had moved in 8 years ago. Bobby had pretty much taken it completely over by this point. Her grandfather still spent 8 hours a day in it, but now he had his favorite recliner back behind the counter and would sit just to gossip and spend time with his Grandson.
The old man was a fixture of the community, and so was their store, and the only way he'd stop hanging out in it and whiling away the hours talking about his community and the people within it, was when he was finally 6 feet underground. Ronnie didn't think that would be anytime soon though. The old man still had plenty of energy left, even if he only rang up customers when Bobby was busy.
Speaking of which, over the years that Bobby had been working at the Mercado with his grandfather, and eventually running it, he had doubled the profits it took in. Her sweet and air headed brother was an idiot savant when it came to business.
It was like all of his intelligence was focused on only two areas, making his wife and children happy, and somehow turning a little corner market into a profit powerhouse.
But then, the Casagrande Mercado was a fixture in the community more than ever. It was a place people just enjoyed going to, even to simply hang out. You could socialize with other neighbors and community members, catch up on the latest gossip, and get some pearls of wisdom from old Hector. Hell, with Lori being there, you could even get some legal advice now and then.
But then, Lori had a sister that was just like Bobby. A sweet air-headed girl everyone loved and in one area was an unparalleled genius. Given how close Lori was with Leni, Ronnie had no doubt her brother's resemblance to the girl was a large factor in Lori's attraction to him.
The bell announcing the presence of a customer flashed as Ronnie walked into the little neighborhood market that carried everything from a selection of fresh fruit and veggies, to overly preserved canned goods and candies, and now even features a section where fresh Pizza and other items could be cooked up as meals to order.
There behind the counter were two of her favorite people in her life. Her old Grandfather Hector, sitting back in the beaten up lazy-boy they'd dragged over for him a couple years ago, in his comfy sweater and old man tan trousers, and her big brother Bobby, tall and lean with short dark hair and a thick beard he'd grown in a few years ago. Bobby's style had never changed from his High school days, but then flannel and jeans were timeless.
But then there were two other people she loved present on the other side of the counter. Her sister-in-law Lori was here. The blonde with the thick Farrah Fawcett hair was dressed in a smart professional woman's suit...maternity edition, to accommodate her swelling belly. She was currently on the phone, the item she loved almost as much as her family.
And then there was her little nephew Marco. The three year old had his mother's blonde hair, and his father's eyes and skin tone. Ronnie just prayed every night he'd also inherit his mother's intelligence. He was dressed in a pair of red shorts and a blue sweatshirt with a luchador on it.
The little boy had been standing near his mother, when he spotted Ronnie and perked up with a huge smile. He waddled towards her, arms out stretched already, “Wonnie Anne!” He exclaimed happily.
Ronnie smiled and reached down, scooping the little boy up into her arms and hugging him tightly, “Hey Nino! How are you doing today!” She pulled him back and pressed a kiss to his cheek. The boy giggled and continued smiling, “Good!” he responded.
Ronnie loved being an Aunt. It was something that had surprised her when it had happened. But she loved her niece and nephew and looked forward to more. Their presence had been something that had made her realize she wanted children of her own one day, and it was another reason she had to be thankful to Lori.
Bobby leaned over the counter, shot her a smile and waved, “Hey Sis! Good to see ya!” Her Grandfather meanwhile leaned up from his chair and smiled at her, “If it isn't one of my favorite Grandchildren!” He exclaimed.
Ronnie shot him a smirk, “Abuelo, all of your grandchildren are your favorites.”
Hector only continued to smile, “It still counts!”
Ronnie sauntered up to the counter with Marco in her hands, and then couldn't help but begin to listen in on Lori's conversation. The blonde had flashed her a wave and a smile too, but it was clear her phone was her primary concern at the moment.
“No Leni, I don't think Lincoln coming out and living with you is the solution to his problems right now.”
The blonde gave a tired sigh.
Lincoln, she was talking about Lincoln.
“I know Leni, I know. He's sad, but Melanie was literally the worst girlfriend he ever had. Besides he has the rest of the girls to take care of him, and he's a big boy. He'll be alright.”
Roni was able to figure out the subject matter pretty easy then. Lincoln just had a break up. It sounded bad. Served him right.
A pang of guilt shot through her the moment that thought had finished. No she didn't want Lincoln to actually suffer, as much as she still had unresolved anger at him.
But then another thought popped into her head.
Lincoln was single.
Her heart suddenly clenched and butterflies filled her stomach for a moment, only for her to almost slap herself and shove those feelings down. Push them out of her mind.
So what if he was single, he lived over 2 hours away in another state. They were going to different colleges, it was unlikely their paths would ever cross again outside of the rare family meet up involving Bobby and Lori.
“You know he has his heart deads et on state university with Clyde anyway. Leni, Leni, I've been talking to Lucy, she's taking care of him. We can trust Lucy on this.”
She knew Lincoln wasn't at an actual University right now, she'd overheard he'd entered a community college, but where he ended up transferring to was still up in the air huh?
Well, obviously he'd want to go where his best friend was. The little goth girl was taking care of him now too? Huh, Ronnie wondered how she ended up turning out. The last time she'd saw her was at Bobby and Lori's wedding.
Lori groaned again, “Leni, listen, I've gotta let you go. I've got a deposition to take in an hour, I'll cal you afterwards alright? Tell Luan I love her. Love you too, bye.”
And then her brother's wife put her phone into her purse which had been resting on the counter nearby and picked it up. She shook her head, looking towards Bobby.
“I swear, that girl, if I had a leash long enough, I'd keep it attached to her all the way to New York.”
Bobby smiled, “Aww babe! She's just worried about your little Bro! I think it's sweet! Maybe a trip would do him some good. Heck, He could even come here!”
That suddenly made Ronnie's heart jump in her chest. She froze up for a moment hearing those words. Not that she would think for a million years that Lincoln would actually accept such an invitation, but the idea of it had sent her heart beating faster than she would have liked, and her stomach doing flipflops in her body.
Lori looked from Bobby, to Ronnie Anne and then winced heavily, before she fixed Her husband with a stern look, “That's... that's a topic we can discuss Later, Bobby.”
Bobby reared back slightly, before putting his hands up. He didn't look at Ronnie Anne. It was like he had deliberately said it in front of her. Was her brother smarter than he let on sometimes?
“Okay Babe. Just trying to be helpful is all! You know I miss my man Lincoln.”
Lori rolled her eyes and then turned towards Ronnie with a smile, reached down and gave the girl a squeeze along with her son, “Oh Ronnie, you are the sweetest Aunt to this little guy. I gotta run everyone, I'll see you later!”
Hector, Bobby, Ronnie and little Marco all waved bye to the busy woman, before Ronnie turned and fixed her brother with a questioning look.
Bobby just smiled his usual dopey grin and pretended to be Innocent.
Then her grandfather broke the silence, “Lincoln was always a good boy when he visited. I wouldn't mind seeing him again either.”
Ronnie frowned at both of them. Then put Hector down, but not before giving him another kiss on the cheek. She turned wordlessly and marched out the door.
Hector and Bobby simply looked at one another, and shrugged.
The same morning, The Loud House.
Lincoln focused on the pan in front of him, eggs were currently cooking and he was in the process of scrambling them with a spatula. He was trying to give the task all of his focus, and drown out the lecture he was currently getting from his sister Lola.
For some reason he couldn't fathom, Lola had decided to hang out in the Kitchen with him and start lecturing him on his life choices. Maybe it was because her twin Lana was currently underneath the sink, fixing the garbage disposal.
“I'm just saying Linky, you still have some time to pivot and change majors. I know they tell you to follow your passion, but let's be real here. That rarely works out for everyone, and you're going to need a vocation that actually pays the bills.”
The former child beauty queen turned teen politician always thought she knew what was best for everyone. She rarely let them forget that either. It didn't help that Lola was also intelligent, and cutthroat, very very cutthroat.
“Even something like picking up a skilled trade like Lana here. Do you know what her salary is going to be as a master plumber? She's going to make more money than Lori!”
Lana pulled her head out from underneath the sink, the mirror image of Lana only wearing a dirty flannel shirt and blue jeans instead of the smart white blouse and stylish pink skirt her sister was wearing.
Lana dusted her fingers off and smirked, “I'm not in it for the money. I just love fixing things and getting my hands dirty.”
Lola rolled her eyes at her twin and opened her mouth ready to speak again before Lincoln interrupted her.
“Your advice is appreciated Lola, but I think I'm going to take my chances on my present course.” He frowned, dicing the eggs up with the spatula. Getting advice on his college major was the least of his concerns at the moment.
“Leave em alone Lola. Lincoln's got his own plans.” Lana huffed as she started washing her hands, before flicking the switch for the Garbage disposal and listening to it briefly roar to life. “Good as new.” She smirked.
Lola groaned, and then spoke in the sing song sweet manipulative voice she had cultivated as a child, “Linkeeeyyyy!! You know it's only because I love you. Besides, I won't let you live in poverty. I should have enough financial backers when I'm state senator to provide for any of you In comfort before I make the move to Presidency.”
Lincoln had to roll his own eyes now. He knew Lola meant well, but she could be so condescending. He wondered if she knew it or not. No, of course she knew it, she knew it and didn't care. Even if it came from a place of love on her part.
Before he could think to say anything in return Lucy entered the kitchen. The next tallest in the house, her blonde hair combed into perfect neatness, eyes shrouded as ever by her bangs, and wearing a throw back dress to her younger days with black and white striped stockings.
She walked right past Lola and Lana and straight to Lincoln. He looked over his shoulder at her just in time as she wrapped both of her arms around him tightly, leaned up ever so slightly and placed a soft kiss on his lips.
It was the type of affectionate action a girlfriend or wife would do for their paramour as they greeted them in the morning, and it did indeed raise the eyebrows of the twins who were in the room with them.
Lucy leaned back and smiled enigmatically, “Good morning Lincoln. Good morning Lana, Lola.” She then favored the twins with a smile.
Both of them looked towards Lucy, eyebrows still raised, muttering back, “Morning.”
Lincoln felt himself flushing hotly and suddenly his attention was back to the eggs which he realized were about to burn. He quickly shut off the heat and pulled them from the burner, “Breakfast is ready everyone, head out to the Kitchen, I'll be there in a second!”
Lucy gently placed her hands on the twins backs and guided them out of the kitchen, “Come you two, Lincoln will join us shortly.” Lincoln found it strange how much it reminded him of a mother guiding her children out. Or more, how much it reminded him of their mother guiding them out of the Kitchen when their Dad was busy. She only returned a moment later to fetch the coffee, smiling at him serenely and then she was out again.
He turned back to what he'd cooked and started getting it all together to serve. His mind and emotions were still a mess from the weekend. Everything that had happened with Lucy.
Why did she have to be so damn pretty?
He knew on a certain level he thought all of his sisters were pretty. In that general idyllic, 'Of course I love my sisters and they're all beautiful' way a brother typically did. But now Lucy was entering his mind in very un-sisterly ways.
Every self-proclaimed dork guy thought that Goth Girls were hot. So much so it was a meme in the community. What do you want more than anything? Big Tiddy Goth Girlfriend of course.
Just looking at them could show you why so many nerds and dorks loved them. They were clearly dressing up in 'costume' in a sense, and carried themselves in a way that wasn't like other girls. To many in the geek community, they were seen as the ideal beauty. Rarely ever had, but celebrated by the few guys that had managed to find themselves in a relationship with one.
And Lucy's dark mystique was just...Getting to him more than it should. He reminded himself, or at least he tried telling himself over and over there was nothing wrong. This was just the way Lucy was, she was an inky black pool of deep emotion, he couldn't misread her. She just wanted a deeper loving connection with him, like they had when they were younger, but nothing more.
But his body was beginning to respond in ways that were starting to drive him crazy. Now she had apparently decided to greet him with a kiss on the lips and a deep hug in the morning, and she had didn't care if their sisters saw it.
He told himself that had to mean it was innocent. Lucy wouldn't dare do something like that if it could be misinterpreted.
But that didn't stop the fact he couldn't get to sleep last night until he had masturbated, again, to the memories of her body and how it felt when she was so close to him the night before. How sensual and seductive she had been as the doe in the ritual, and it still made him feel terrible awful guilt after he was finished.
She had been such a comforting presence to him since the break up too. Just over a week now since it had happened, she was the first to greet him when he got home, and quietly kept him company most of the time since. She was reliable, and sweet, caring, and so very loving towards him.
Why couldn't he meet a girl like her?
Big tiddy goth girlfriend would be nice. Hell, Smol tiddy goth girlfriend would be nice too.
Outside the kitchen his sisters sat together at the dining room table. It had actually shrunk over the years as more and more of the older sisters had moved out, but still had to make room to accommodate 8 people.
Lucy had of course, already claimed the spot that was going to be right next to Lincoln. Her other sisters didn't seem to think anything wrong with this, but Lola was still giving her something of a side eye. Lana had apparently dismissed any concerns she had earlier as she talked up Lily right next to her, and Lisa as usual was off in her own world, probably reading some new scientific article on her phone.
Lucy folded her hands together as she addressed the preppie blonde girl, “Lola, is there something you want to say?”
Lola pursed her lips, before leaning over slightly and speaking up, “Just think it was a little weird how you greeted Lincoln today is all.”
Lucy didn't even flinch, she calmly picked up a cup of coffee she had poured earlier and sipped it,”I don't see what's weird about showing my affection for any of my siblings. You included Lola.“
Lola rolled her eyes and pointed a finger at the Goth, “Well, whatever but you don't see any of us walking right up to him to hug him and kiss him on the lips the moment we see him.”
Lily perked up from where she'd been thumb-wrestling with Lana, “That's not true! I hug and kiss Lincoln every time I see him!”
Lola scoffed, then looked to her baby sister, “Lily, that's different.”
Lily only looked confused, “How?”
Lucy only smirked as she watched, her baby sister was unknowingly coming to her aide.
Lola groaned, “Ugh, it just is! It's just about what's appropriate okay. Older brothers and sisters just don't do that sort of thing.”
Lily looked down, “Am I going to have to stop hugging and kissing him one day?” The 9 year old looked absolutely devastated at this new potential turn of events.
It was then Lisa, of all people in her 'Tupac still lives' shirt that decided to interject, “We all have our own dishtinct relationships with each other and our eldest brother. Given I shared my room with Lily the longesht I allow her to hug and kiss me more than I do any of the rest of you. That doesn't mean I love any of you less, just that I'm more acclimated to her type of affectioshn. Lushy, is the closet in age to Lincoln. Undoubtedly that has shaped their relationship to each other.”
Lucy didn't even have to defend herself, Lisa and Lily were doing it for her, Lola was looking like the strange one for questioning it in the first place. She had to hide her smug grin behind her coffee mug.
Lily was still pouting, “I don't want to stop hugging and kissing anyone!”
Lana turned to her baby sister, rubbing her fingers over the young girl's head reassuringly, “You don't ever have to Lils. You can kiss and hug anyone in the family as long as you want.”
This seemed to satisfy the young girl and she happily threw her arms around the rougher girl and placed a kiss on her cheek. Lana only smiled and returned the affection.
Lola wasn't done though. She picked up a fork and casually pointed it at Lucy once again, “Well no matter your 'special relationship' with Lincoln is, you might want to tone it down when you two are in public together. People might get the wrong idea, and then you'll ruin his chances of getting another girlfriend.”
Lucy had to stop herself from saying that was exactly the point. Of course she wanted to scare off any other girls that got ideas. That was why she now held his hand In public and walked so close to him, because she wanted others to get the wrong idea.
Instead she simply held a neutral expression as she replied, “I'll take your advice into consideration.”
Lincoln came through from the kitchen door then which seemed to put a halt to that particular line of dialogue. Carrying a couple of serving trays he carefully placed them in the middle of the table with a satisfied smirk before he sat down himself right next to Lucy.
“Breakfast guys! Eat up before it gets cold!” He cheerfully exclaimed, and his sisters wasted no time in grabbing eggs, toast and pancakes with murmurs of thanks and the clacking of silverware on plates.
As the family went about eating their breakfast together, Lincoln couldn't help but notice something seemed to be bothering Lily. The young girl's brow was furrowed as if she was deep in thought about something.
Eventually Lincoln's curiosity got the better of him and he had to speak up, “Lily? What's wrong?”
Lucy watched the interaction closely.
Lily put her fork down and balled her hands up as she exclaimed, “Lola thinks I'm gonna get to old to Kiss you and hug you one day!”
That took Lincoln by surprise, and the only thing he could do was to turn to Lola and fix her with a questioning gaze.
Lola groaned, again, and rolled her eyes, “Oh my gosh you guys! That is not what I said at all! Fine! Fine! Forget I said anything, just, kiss and hug each other all you want!”
Lily folded her arms and gave the smuggest most self satisfied smirk ever. Lucy joined her, still hiding it behind her mug.
Lincoln continued to look puzzled, Lucy reached over and took his hand gently in her own, giving it a soft squeeze, before she smiled at him in return, “Don't worry about it. Earlier conversation.”
Lincoln dug his spoon into his bowl of sugary cereal with his free hand and cast his gaze over all of his sisters. Clearly something had transpired between them, and he had a partial idea of what it might be about.
It seemed for now though, they had sorted the issue out among themselves. He doubted families full of brothers had debates about kissing each other growing up. Sisters were damn weird sometimes.
A/N: Player: Ronnie-Anne has entered the game.
You all had to see this coming with how much she's been brought up in the previous chapters! What's the role our favorite Tomboy former bully going to play though? Depending on your perspective, the Heroine or the Villain has just entered the picture!
