A Hard Day’s Knight II
This was an embarrassing moment to say the least for Ben, as he was forced to remain motionless and naked while facing the Forever King and his ruthless group of Knights. They both waited for each other to make the first move, so they could react accordingly and use it to the other’s destruction. But what neither side anticipated was who make that move…and it was Looma, in the form of picking up Ben’s bed.
“You call yourselves Knights, but all I see are Pawns!” She tossed it with great ferocity, causing the Knights to scatter for cover & regroup. “Honestly, I’ve seen Tetramand adolescents with more skill & ferocity!”
It also allowed Ben to do the same as he ducked back into the bathroom and slammed his hand down on the Omnitrix. In a flash of green light, he morphed from his human form into one more suitable for the upcoming battle…Rath.
“LEMME TELL YA SOMETHIN’, FOREVER KING CHADWICK!!!” He shouted as he emerged from the room. “YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST BREAK DOWN OUR WALL AND CLAIM SOME STUPID DNA!? WELL I’M GONNA BREAK DOWN YOUR DNA, AND CLAIM YOUR WALL…AND…I’M GONNA HURT YOU A LOT!!!”
And with that battle cry, Rath joined in the fray. The Forever Knights came armed with laser lances and showed no fear as they charged into the conflict, but their weapons did little to nothing to even slow down the Appoplexian. Effortlessly the Tetramand Princess and the savage feline warrior tore through the Forever Knight ranks , tossing bodies aside as their numbers dwindled down with at an increasing speed. The Forever King foresaw this as a possibility, though.
“Red Knight, I am in need of you aid!”
And like a flash of red lightning, the Forever Ninja appeared behind his King, before making a beeline for Rath. The ferocious feline was barely able to see him coming, and too slow to react. Thankfully the Ninja’s blade was halted by that of another…Rook’s.
Ben was surprised to see him arrive so quickly, but grew annoyed that he did block it. “I HAD HIM!!!”
“I am quite sure you did.” Rook replied. “Just providing backup. Also, he is something of a rival of mine…”
Though the deadly android couldn’t speak, it did feel the same as the two engaged their swords in combat. They clashed fiercely and continuously while standing on the king-sized bed in the room as Looma & Rath dispatched with the rest of the knights. All three were occupied with their battles, which is just what the Forever King desired.
“Ah, the THRILL of battle!” Looma proclaimed proudly. “All planetary trades should be this fun! Now if only these runts put up a better fight…”
Suddenly, a well-placed slash by one of the knights drew blood from Looma’s arm, and also angered the Princess. “You dare draw blood on a Princess!?”
She retaliated with a brutal kick that sent that knight tumbling towards his King, who quickly retrieved the blade, spotting the blood on it. He then pulled a vial from under his cape and ran its rim against the blade, filling it with her blood.
“Not what I wished for, but desperate times…” He said, before being noticed by all three. “KNIGHTS! Fall back and protect your King! We are done here!”
All of the Forever Knights did as commanded, including the Ninja, who broke away from his battle with Rook. Rath wasn’t about to let them retreat, however. “HEY, YOU AREN’T DONE! YOU’RE DONE WITH RATH SAYS YOU’RE DONE!!!”
He lunged forward to chase after the aggressors, but a parting gift from the Red Knight would disrupt his attempt at capture…a Flash Grenade. The next thing Ben would see is blinding whiteness, and it would cause him to stumble around wildly as he desperately tried to regain his bearings. Acting fast, both Looma and Rook pinned him down on the bed so he wouldn’t injure himself, or them. Luckily, the sound of Ben’s Omnitrix powering down echoed through the room, and a moment later he was transformed back to his human form.
“Still…seeing stars…”
“Quite strange that they would attack, and then withdraw their forces so quickly.” Rook noted.
“Agreed; especially after one of those pawns got in a lucky shot.” Looma added, noticing the wound on her lower right forearm.
They released Ben as he slowly rose back up, his vision just now beginning to clear. “Looks like we agree, there’s definitely something more to this. I say we chase after them to see exactly what. Plus, we should leave before—!”
He turned around and stopped himself from finishing as he found it was too late. Pakmar was standing in the doorway to the room, jaw to the floor as he gazed out at the damage done to both the interior and exterior of his brand new Inn. Both Ben & Rook chuckled nervously as they slowly made their way towards the hole in the wall.
“Technically, this is the Forever Knights fault.” Ben said in his defense. “And the room could’ve used wider windows.”
Both Ben & Rook then grabbed each of Looma’s lower arms and dragged her along as they leapt out the opening. “The Plumbers will reimburse you for damages!” Rook yelled back.
Unfortunately it did little to nothing to quell the anger the businessman felt at that moment. “TENNYSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNN!!!”
“They do not seem to be in this quadrant, either.”
Rook stated that fact as he examined the readings on his proto-tool, looking for any sign of Forever Knight activity. The three stood in the middle of an Undertown street, with both Ben & Looma waited behind him; the latter losing much of her patience.
“Things have certainly changed since my last visit here.” She noted. “I was expecting much more destruction and battle than what I’ve encountered so far.”
“Isn’t there any time where you don’t want to seek out battle?” Ben asked.
That question caused Looma to smile seductively at him. “Well, when we’re wed—!”
“Never mind!” Ben interrupted. “Sorry I asked.”
Looma stayed on the subject, however. “But even then there would have to be a battle. A grandiose melee to really get the blood pumping!”
“Yeah…well, doesn’t look like there’s anything like that around her, so—!”
“Uh, sir?” Rook got Ben’s attention as he pointed in a direction very familiar to the galactic hero. Ben looked down the road, and upon seeing where it ended his eyes widened in shock. It was the Undertown Arena, home of the Golden Fist Tournament, and the last place Ben wanted to see considering who he had in tow. The Arena already looked fully packed again, despite both Ben & Rook shutting it down some time ago for illegal fights.
Matters would get worse for Ben as Looma spotted the Arena as well. “Wait…is that a Gladiatorial Arena?”
“Nope!” Ben quickly answered. “Not at all, nothing like that, now let’s move along!”
He grabbed her lower hand and tried to drag her along, but weight differences in his human form made that next to impossible. “You are so silly!” She said, playfully punching his shoulder, which floored him. “I should’ve known you’d have something special for my visit here! OOH, this’ll make attending that boring trade agreement ceremony worth it!”
She excitedly rushed over to the Arena, as Ben picked himself up off the ground. “Rook, why would you point out the Golden Fist Tournament with Looma right here!?”
“It was not my intention to bring attention to that battle tournament…” Rook replied. “…but intel states that this is where the Forever Knights have fled after our earlier battle.”
Ben sighed as the two rushed over to the Arena to catch up to Looma. “So basically this was unavoidable.”
“Perhaps there is no battle going on presently.” Rook suggested. “It may be a simply gathering to enjoy a concert or play…”
As the two entered the building however, that suggestion was thrown right out the window…along with a Vaxasaurian that had the displeasure of encountering Looma. “Whose arm do you have to rip off for a fight around here!?”
“Hey, hey, hey!” Looma turned to the ring entrance to see the coordinator of the Golden Fist Tournament; Slix Vigma. “All sparring is to take place OUTSIDE the arena! I just finished repairs from the last blockheads who wrecked the—Ben Tennyson!?”
Upon noticing the galaxy-renowned hero, Slix quickly went on the defensive. “This is a legitimate operation, I swear! In fact, we just got our permits this week!”
Reaching behind him, the robotic promoter revealed a tablet-like device which he handed over to Rook. Ben’s partner quickly scanned over the information on the screen, before handing it back to Slix. “He is correct. The battles he holds here are completely legal.”
“Legitimate or not, I wanna fight!” Looma interjected. “Bring me your best competitor!”
“You just threw him out the window.” Slix responded.
“Yeah, sorry about that…” Ben chimed in. “You see, we’re—!”
“WONDERFUL idea, betrothed!” Looma interrupted as she picked her fiancé with a tight hug.
Ben was confused. “What…are you…talking about?”
She released him quickly, as he was barely able to stay on his feet after landing. “Our Pre-Marital Battle! Oh, I’d almost forgotten it; Tetramandian custom dictates that we should duel before our ceremony.”
“But the wedding is a year away!” Ben debated.
“Gives me more time to plan the ceremony.” She replied. “With us joining in battle, our union will be stronger than ever…plus we can decide what the cake flavor will be!”
Understandable, Ben was hesitant to go through with the idea. “Actually, that’s OK! You can decide it, no problem! In fact, Slix probably doesn’t even care abo—!”
“FELLOW FIGHT FANS! Tonight, you are in for the Brawl to end them all!”
Ben’s protest obviously fell on deaf ears as Looma happily rushed into the main arena as Slix continued to make the introductions. He then dropped his head in frustration as Rook put his hand on his mentor’s shoulder. “It is not all bad, Ben.” He told him. “I am still receiving reports of Forever Knight activity within the arena. Your battle with your betrothed could provide a needed distraction while I examine the area.”
Ben sighed, knowing his partner was right. “Yeah, just…find them quickly. The Omnitrix has been acting wonky again, ever since that night with Attea. Also, don’t call her my betrothed again…Bro.”
Rook furrowed his brow hearing that. “You will not let me live that night down, will you?”
“Nope, and not the nights that followed it, either.” Approaching the entrance, the galactic hero could hear the cheers from the crowd as Looma stood center stage, soaking in the adulation pre-battle, like a true Tetramand.
Slix didn’t make matters better, either. “Introducing first, standing over 8 feet tall, and weighing…uh…”He leaned over to the Princess. “Hey, what’s your weight again?”
She responded by grabbing him from the air and pulling him close. “None of your business!” She growled through her teeth before releasing him.
“Ah-haha…right.” He continued. “Anyway, the powerhouse Princess from the planet Khoros…LOOMA RED WIND!!!”
Uproarious cheers rang out as she lifted her four arms high into the air, acknowledging their adulation. But the praise quickly turned to boos as the hostile crowd spotted her opponent stepping into the fight arena; as did Slix.
“And her opponent, you know him as the Plumber Supreme, the savior of the Galaxy, Earth’s very own…BEN TENNYSON!!!”
Though he was given a respectful introduction, it did little to change the crowd’s opinion of him as Ben was pelted with popcorn buckets, cups and straws. “Oh come on!” He complained. “Why am I ALWAYS the Bad Guy when I come here?”
“What can I say, kid?” Slix replied. “You make a good villain. Now…Let’s prepare for the RUMBLE!!!”
Ben looked across the ring and saw his ‘fiancé’ cracking her knuckles and stretching, ready for a fierce melee that would rock the house. “OK, looks like this is gonna be ugly…might as well pick someone built for this…”
Adjusting the dial on his Omnitrix, he picked the most suitable alien for this task…Humongasaur. He then lifted the mechanism and slammed his hand down on it, triggering the transformation. He was quickly engulfed in blinding life as he was mutated from his human form. As the light faded however, he found that he wasn’t the hulking Vaxasaurian like he wanted to be, but instead…
“BULLFRAG!?!?” He exclaimed, noticing his amphibian appearance. “Aw come on! Ya gotta do this ta me now, Omnitrix!?”
Ben wasn’t the only one disappointed with the transformation. “You couldn’t pick something better than the species of that slime-tongued princess?” Looma asked.
“Not my fault!” Ben argued.
Looma sighed. “Oh well, ON TO BATTLE!!!”
She charged forward, desiring to get her hands on her beloved in more ways than one. Fortunately Ben knew Bullfrag’s abilities and was able to put them to use; such as utilizing his legs to launch high into the air, completely avoiding Looma’s initial attack. He landed at the other end of the ring, as the Tetramand Princess turned and smirked at him. “I love it when you play hard to get!”
She charged again, but this time Ben stayed closer to the ground as he skillfully avoided her strikes. She swung wildly, becoming increasingly frustrated as Ben continued to be just out of her reach; even for a warrior with four arms.
“That’s it, Ben.” He told himself. “Just keep it up; tire her out so I can finally—whoa!”
Unfortunately his agility wasn’t good enough, as his ankle was snatched by Looma, whose grin had turned devious. “Gotcha!”
Summoning her strength, she flung the Incursean warrior back across the arena, until he came to a stop at the wall. He slumped down, but managed to stay on his feet. “OK, fine. Guess I betta go on the offensive, then!”
And he did, launching his tongue from his mouth in an attempt to surprise her. It would fail however, as Looma grabbed hold of the tongue. “You know, if you want to get frisky, you’re gonna need a better form!” She suggested, tugging on the tongue and pulling him close. She was able to catch him in mid-air before slamming him down hard to the ground.
“Dat’s it!” Bullfrag lamented. “Come on Omnitrix, gimme somethin’, ANYTHIN’ but this alien!”
Slamming his hand down on the Omnitrix on his chest, Ben rolled out of the way just in time as she stomped her foot down, hitting only ground. He underwent another transformation, this one was noticeably quicker than the last, but arguably ended up with a worse result as he saw his form.
“Anything…but THIS alien!”
Looma was predictably overjoyed over the transformation, though. “Now THAT’S what I’m talking about!”
Joyfully she charged at her beau, and the two locked hands, all eight of them, in the center of the ring. They vied for strength and position, Four Arms mightily resisting the strength of Looma as she grinned with violent glee. She slowly started to overpower him as he began to slide backwards, inch by inch. Four Arms wasn’t about to submit however, as he used the Princess’ power against her, falling backwards and launching her into the air. She fell hard onto the ground, causing the arena to tremble from her impact. The crowd roared in approval of the fight, but Ben was apprehensive about celebrating the move.
“Looma, are you OK?” He asked.
He got his answer in the form of her doing a kip up, landing on her feet. “Never better, beloved!” She told him. “Now let’s really get it on!”
With surprising speed she lunged forward, catching Four Arms off guard and trapping him in a constricting bear hug. Only two of Ben’s arms were trapped however, and he used his upper two to tilt Looma’s balance. Her grip loosened, and Four Arms was able to break free as he backed her into a wall. Their hands locked together again, as they stood nose-to-nose with each other…which also brought a strange sensation.
“Wait…are your nipples poking out!?”
“Isn’t it great, beloved?” She said excitedly. “The two of us locked in battle, intertwined like the warrior lovers we are!”
She punctuated that point by grabbing Four Arms’ head and pulling it in close for a passionate kiss. The make out was startling to Ben to say the least, and caused him to break his hold on her. Now with her own hands free, she took in the bulky Tetramand and held him tight against her, adoring the taste of his lips. Ben was starting to enjoy the kiss as well, as he also wrapped his arms around her. The crowd however, was puzzled on how this fight could take such an erotic turn. They would soon have reason to cheer again though, as Looma used her lower arms to club Ben in the stomach. She then followed up with a double-fisted uppercut that sent him flying to the middle of the arena, where he landed on his back.
Roars of excitement now flooded from the fans in attendance, as Looma soaked it all in. “Ladies & Gentlemen, we have a winner!” Slix announced. “Princess Looma of the House of Red Wind is the Last Tetramand Standing!”
And ironically, the Omnitrix would run out of energy, as Ben reverted back to his human form. It still had enough power to contact his partner, though. “Rook…tell me you found something…”
“THIS is the battle that I have craved!” Looma declared as she approached her fallen fiancé. “Of all the Tetramands I have face, only you have continually pushed me to the limit!”
She then kneelt down and straddled the galactic hero’s lap, much like Attea did that Thanksgiving…only with significantly more mass. She then placed her lower hands on his shoulders gently as she leaned in closer, to the point where her massive rack nearly enveloped his face.
“And I will be sure to share in the reward of my victory.” She said seductively.
“Rook! Need an update!” Ben ordered, panicking.
THOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!
The sound of the arena wall crashing down echoed through the building, as out of the dust leaped Ben’s Revonnahgander partner, wielding his Proto-Tool.
“My apologies, Ben.” He replied. “But I have located the whereabouts of the Forever Knights…”
He point up to the top of the arena as the balcony, where they spotted several knights flanking the Red Ninja and the Forever King; the latter holding the Golden Gauntlet, the prize of the Fighting Tournament held here.
“…Unfortunately that is where the good news ends.”
