Jackson Jekyll/Harem
A/N: In this story, Jackson and Holt have separated and are two different people.
Chapter 05 –Scare-Born Infection
If there was one constant in Jackson Jekyll’s life, it is that when you are the only normie in a monster school, chances are that you are going to get a lot of attention.
He was currently sitting at his usual spot in the lunch room with Holt and Deuce. However, his lunch had been interrupted by a pair of werecats by the names of Purrsephone and Meowlody.
“Oh Jackson, you’re so strong,” Purrsephone purred as she felt Jackson’s bicep.
“Of course, he’s a growing hunk,” Meowlody meowed as she felt his strong chest. Jackson was certain his face was as red as some of the food set out for the vampires.
“Wow Jackson, and here I was thinking I’d seen everything,” Deuce said as he and Holt watched the scene before them.
“Trust me, I’ve been saying that for years,” Jackson replied. “I’m only amazed anything surprises me anymore.”
“How do you think I feel?” Holt stated. “It’s like, every week you pop up another ghoulfriend. And here I thought I was the ladies man.”
“What can we say, Jackson is just that good,” the twins said in unison as they snuggled against Jackson. Jackson blushed brightly again. Shortly after, another teen joined the group. It was none other than the resident fishboy, Gill Webber.
“Hey guys,” Gill said rather despondently as he sat down.
“Everything alright dude?” Deuce asked the fresh water monster.
“It’s nothing,” Gill replied. “It’s just my parents. They’re getting real annoying.”
“They’re still against you dating Lagoona, huh?” Jackson asked his friend. It was no secret that Gill’s parents were incredibly against the idea of their son dating a sea water monster, and it was also no secret that their prejudices would sometimes get to Gill.
“Yeah,” Gill replied sadly. “I think I only made it worse though.”
“Really?” Holt asked curiously. “How?”
“I tried taking Lagoona to meet my parents so they could see what an amazing ghoul she was,” Gill explained. “But once we got there, they went all ballistic and made Lagoona cry. I’ve tried talking to her, but I haven’t seen her all day. My parents aren’t any better. They’re claiming that they plan to take me out of Monster High.”
The three males and two werecats blinked in surprise. They knew that Gill’s parents were prejudice against sea monsters, but never expected anything like that. “What do you plan to do?” Purrsephone asked.
“I have no idea,” Gill replied, clutching his head. “Lagoona won’t talk to me, and my parents are planning to send me away. I don’t know what to do.”
“Hey,” Jackson said, placing his hand on Gill’s shoulder. “We’ll figure something out. We’ll help you, right guys?”
“That’s right, we got your back dude!” Holt declared with Deuce nodding.
“Thanks guys,” Gill replied with a light smile. He knew he could always rely on his friends to be understanding. Shortly after, the bell rung, and the students all moved on. Jackson walked with the twins towards their Hiss-tory class.
“Hey Boy-Toy,” Frankie and Toralei greeted as they joined their boyfriend and fellow ghouls. Since the werecat trio joined in their little ‘group’, they had been getting along amazingly well with the other ghouls. So much so that Cleo accepted them back into the Fear-Leading squad.
“Hey ghouls,” Jackson greeted back. Since that day that he discovered his secret admirer was actually three and he decided to give the werecats a chance, his life was only getting better, as was the lives of his ghouls. Since that day, Jackson’s feelings for the cats only grew. He learned that beneath those rough exteriors were actually scared and lonely girls. Toralei had been left to fight for herself for most of her life, especially since no one ever wanted her. That dark and twisted humor was actually just cry for someone to care for her. As for the twins, they faced similar difficult lives, but they at least had each other. Jackson understood those feelings of loneliness are the desire for someone to care, which only made liking these three all the easier.
The five made it to class and Jackson sat in between Frankie and Toralei while the twins sat behind him. Class, as usual, was boring.
That was until Jackson felt a hand on his crotch. He blushed and turned to find the owner of the hand was Toralei. “T-Toralei-“
Toralei shushed him and smiled seductively. She rubbed his crotch affectionately, pressing her hand against his member with only his clothes for protection.
Jackson bit his lip. Ever since he started dating them, each one of his girls had grown a desire to make him just as horny as they were. Since that first time in the Maul restroom, his girls tried to do anything in their power to get him into kinky situations, mostly involving places other than the bedroom.
Frankie sat quietly, watching the class in boredom. She turned and saw Jackson biting his lip. “Jackson, what’s wrong?” she asked. She then saw something beneath his desk and looked.
She gasped softly as she saw Toralei’s hand on his crotch, rubbing the growing bulge affectionately. She rose back up and stared at Toralei who smirked. “What? He likes it, see,” she said as she gave Jackson’s crotch a gentle squeeze, causing Jackson to gasp as quietly as he could as to not alert the teacher.
Frankie blinked twice, then smiled evilly. She reached over and joined Toralei in teasing the boy they both loved.
Jackson was shocked by Frankie’s actions. Sure, she had her little devil side, but this was something he expected from Toralei. It was obvious that the cats were leaving just as much an impression as the others.
Thankfully, no one noticed, and the bell rang loudly, giving Jackson sweet freedom. He rose from the chair and gasped in relief. “You two are evil,” Jackson muttered, but the duo only smiled innocently. After that rather interesting situation, Jackson and Frankie left the cats to go to their Home Ick class.
“Hey Guys,” Clawdeen greeted the two. She then noticed Jackson’s expression. “Jackson, is something wrong?”
“This ghoul,” Jackson pointed at an innocent looking Frankie. “-is spending too much time with Toralei. They were pretty much fondling me during class.”
“Really?” Clawdeen replied in surprise. She then smirked. “I have to remember that when we go out on our date tonight.”
Since he started dating the ghouls, Jackson made sure he gave them each an equal amount of undivided attention alone as well as when they were together. This included taking the ghouls on dates with just the two of them. Since the werecats joined, Jackson needed to reassess his schedule, but it was easy enough.
“You two are horrible,” Jackson said, rolling his eyes.
The two ghouls giggle and each kissed him on his cheeks. “Aw, you love us anyways,” Frankie teased. Jackson rolled his eyes and smiled back.
Jackson went to his usual station with Deuce and the two clasped hands. “Hey dude.”
“Hey,” Jackson replied. “So how’s it going Deuce. Anything interesting?”
“Since lunch, not much,” Deuce replied nonchalantly. “Though, there was one thing. Met a new ghoul.”
Jackson blinked in surprise. Deuce met a ghoul? That was a surprise. Since his and Cleo’s break up, he hadn’t really been looking for a relationship, and that wasn’t from a lack of trying on the ghoul side. Being the captain of the casketball team, Deuce was a prime target for ghouls desiring boyfriends. Yet he was smart enough to know when the ghouls actually wanted to know him rather than just brag about dating the captain. For Deuce to say something, that meant there was possibility. “Really? Who?”
“She just moved in,” Deuce replied. “Her name’s Adelah. We met in Clawculus when she sat down next to me.”
“Really?” Jackson said with a surprised grin. “What she look like?”
“She’s got sandy blonde straight hair that reaches mid-back. Skin is a mild tan with tribal markings on arms coming across the chest area with faint traces of scales. Eyes are acidic green with slit pupils. Oh, and her lower half is that of a snake,” Deuce explained.
“Ah, a Lamia,” Jackson said in realization. Behind his sunglasses, Deuce blinked in surprise. How did Jackson know what she was. Jackson saw Deuce’s confusion and explained. “I studied up a lot on monsters when I was younger. I’m pretty sure I know every kind of monster there is, which is sort of one of the reasons why I wanted to come to Monster High.”
“Huh,” Deuce replied simply. Looks like there was still much more to Jackson than even he, his best friend, knew.
“Anyways, what’s she like?” Jackson asked.
“She seemed kind of quiet. Really shy too,” Deuce replied, looking off into the distance.
Jackson cocked an eyebrow and leaned down. “You planning on asking her out?”
Deuce sighed and shook his head. “Not sure dude. I mean, she is really good looking, and I’m over Cleo, but I don’t know. I don’t want to be the guy that’s just trying to date the new ghoul.”
“Then don’t be,” Jackson replied simply. Deuce looked at the normie in confusion. “Don’t start off by asking her out. Get to know her first, let her know that you want to be her friend first. Chances are, she’s just really shy and lonely, and being in a new school does that. Try making her feel welcomed and be her friend. And, if you feel like you want to, ask her out. If it works, it works. And if it doesn’t at least the two of you can still remain friends.”
Deuce stared at the normie before him in astonishment. This was Jackson Jekyll, the normie boy that had a hard time defending himself and was looked down upon for being human. The boy who had so many troubles yet still came back each day for some odd reason. The guy who had such trouble just talking about girls, was giving him advice on dating and friendship. Deuce couldn’t help but smirk. Jackson certainly had changed over the last couple of weeks. “Thanks dude, when did you get so smart about dating?”
Jackson smiled back. “What can I say,” he said, placing a hand on Deuce’s shoulder, “I got great friends to help teach me.” The two best friends smirked at each other and nodded.
“ACHOO!” a voice snapped them out of their reverie. The two teens turned to see a sickly-looking zombie, even sicklier than normal, sitting several feet away from him. The normal greenish-blue skin was extremely pale, and the eyes were red.
“Must’ve caught something bad,” Jackson assumed and Deuce nodded. Class ended quickly, and soon after, school was done.
oOoOoOo
Far later into the night, Jackson stood in front of the Wolf household, waiting for Clawdeen so they could go on their date. He knocked on the front door, and it opened to reveal Clawdeen’s younger sister, Howleen.
“Oh, hey Jackson,” Howleen greeted the boy. “Clawdeen! Your boyfriend is here!”
“Coming!” Clawdeen’s voice called out.
“So Howleen, how’ve you been?” Jackson asked the younger she-wolf. He knew that she and Clawdeen would get often into fights, and although he was dating her sister, he still thought of Howleen as a good friend.
“Okay I guess,” Howleen replied. “I got to say though, you look pretty nice Jackson. I can see now why Clawdeen goes on and on and on about you,” she teased. Jackson simply rolled his eyes and smirked. “But seriously, you dating my sister has to be the best thing ever!”
“Really, why?” Jackson asked in confusion.
“Because with you, she hardly ever bugs me anymore,” Howleen replied.
“You know she’s does that just because she cares,” Jackson said. “Trust me, when it comes to siblings, or even cousins, They just want what’s best for you, no matter how much they get on your nerves.” He said, using his own experience with Holt and Heath as reference.
Howleen stared in surprise. “Really? Holt and Heath are that bad?”
Jackson chuckled lightly. “Trust me, just be glad you have one older sister and brother instead of a loud-mouthed brother and hot-headed cousin, both of who make incredibly bad jokes,” he joked. Howleen giggled lightly, surprised that Jackson actually made her laugh.
“Hey there handsome,” Clawdeen’s voice called from behind. Jackson looked back and was left speechless. Clawdeen was absolutely beautiful as she stood in a long and stylish black and purple dress. There were many ties and ribbons, and her shoulders remained exposed. It was clearly a Clawdeen original. Her hair was left out in its natural form, yet her golden eyes seemed to glow beneath the long brownish locks. She had bright red lipstick on, which only complimented the shining pearly whites in her smiling mouth. “How do I look?”
“B-Beautiful,” Jackson stuttered. He may have gained a lot of confidence over the last couple of weeks, but there were still times, mostly when concerning his girls, that left him utterly breathless, and this was no different.
Clawdeen smiled and walked forward, passing her sister to give her boyfriend a quick kiss on the lips. “Thanks, and you look nice too.” Jackson blushed lightly and simply smiled back.
“Ugh, you guys are going to make me sick,” Howleen fake-gagged. Clawdeen only giggled and ruffled her hair.
“Trust me, it will only get worse,” she teased. She turned back to Jackson and said, “Come on Jackson, our reservations are waiting.”
“Right,” Jackson replied, leading Clawdeen away from the doorstep. As he left, he turned back and waved at Howleen. “It was nice talking to you Howleen. See ya later.”
“See ya,” Howleen waved back as she watched her sister and Jackson enter his which he had received for his 16th birthday. She watched as they drove off before closing the door. “Clawdeen is so lucky. Jackson looked so amazing and he’s so nice. I wish I could get a boyfriend like that.”
(A/N: Oh Howleen, if you only knew)
Jackson drove himself and Clawdeen through the city streets. He was familiar to the roads of the town they lived in, having memorized every bit in case he ever found himself lost. That was only because of when he was still combined with Holt and they were unaware of each other and he would wake up with no memory of where he was. Now that Holt and he were no longer one and the same, he used his knowledge to find the best places possible for the dates between him and his ghouls.
“So Jackson, where are we going?” Clawdeen asked. Jackson had kept their destination a secret from her, claiming he wanted it to be a surprise.
“You’ll see,” Jackson said with a smile. They drove until they reached their destination. Jackson parked the car just in front of a large building. “Well, here we are.” Jackson hopped out of the car and quickly went to the other side and opened it for Clawdeen. “My lady.”
Clawdeen giggled and stepped out. She looked at her surroundings and gasped. They were standing in front of one of the fanciest restaurants in town – the Full Moon Gourmet. It was also Clawdeen’s favorite place to eat. She turned to her boyfriend, who just stood with a big smile. “J-Jackson?” she stuttered.
“Told you it was a surprise,” Jackson said lightly. “Come on, our reservation is waiting.” Jackson led the stunned she-wolf into the door. She looked around, and could see many couples, mostly werewolves, waiting to be seated and those inside enjoying themselves. They walked right up to the headwaiter who waited at his podium (A/N: I apologize if I got this wrong, I don’t know much about fancy restaurants) “Excuse me, I have a reservation under the name Jackson Jekyll.”
“Jekyll, Jekyll,” the werewolf head waiter said as he looked at the list. “Ah, here you are, right on time. Table for two, correct?”
“Yes,” Jackson replied, smiling at the surprisingly blushing Clawdeen.
“Follow me,” the head waiter said as he led the couple through the large restaurant. As they walked, Clawdeen couldn’t help but look around. She had only been here once with her family when she was younger. She loved it, but they never went again simply because of the expenses. They were led to their booth and the two sat down. “Your waiter will be here in just a moment, enjoy.” The HW said before giving them each a menu and leaving.
“So…” Jackson began with a big smile. “What do you think?”
“Jackson this is amazing!” Clawdeen whispered. “How did you even know about this place? How were you even able to afford it?”
“Well, when you do some work for the Headmistress of Monster High, you get quite a good number of bucks in your wallet,” Jackson teased. Since he did a lot of helpful work around the school, Headmistress Bloodgood would pay him surprisingly well. Add that he saved most of his allowances and any money he gained from internships he had done over the years, he was fairly loaded. “As for how I know, I just asked Clawd.” Clawdeen giggled, lightly. Their waiter then came, asking for their drinks. “Just some water for me.”
“Me too,” Clawdeen replied. The waiter nodded and walked off. Clawdeen turned back to Jackson. “Jackson, this is really incredible. I mean… why would you do this for me?”
Jackson smiled lovingly as he placed his hand on Clawdeen’s. “Because I love you,” he said softly. Clawdeen had heard Jackson say that several times before, but something about it this time left her speechless. “If it weren’t for you, I probably wouldn’t have been as happy as I am now. When you and Frankie said you both wanted to date me, I was really nervous and scared. I was scared that I would not be enough for the two of you. I did have feelings for you, but I was unsure of what would they change into. Now I’m sure. I love you Clawdeen. You may have been the second to capture my heart, but that does not mean you are any less special to me. You’re incredibly talented and incredibly brave. It was because of you ghouls that I even had the strength to convince Cleo to join.”
“I could go on and on about this, but the fact is, I love you Clawdeen. And you deserve every bit of attention and love possible.”
Clawdeen sat in her seat, utterly speechless. All her life, she had never heard anyone speak of her like that. She had never met a guy that spoke so fondly and so caringly about her. She knew that since that first night she had strong feelings for Jackson, and knew that she had feelings for him, but she was always unsure if those feelings were as strong as she hoped. But hearing Jackson speak so freely and fondly about her, using the soft loving voice he used when making love, it told her that he did love her. He loved her with all his heart, just as much as he did Frankie, the one that first caught his heart.
“I love you and the others so much,” Jackson continued. “I want to show you all so much how you each mean to me. I want to make you all feel like the angels you are, and I’ll admit it is sometime tricky, but you girls are worth it. You all mean the world to me, you mean the world to me Clawdeen.”
“J-Jackson…” Clawdeen stuttered, her eyes beginning to fill with tears of happiness. She always dreamed of meeting her prince charming and living happily ever after. And now, she was sure she had found him. Jackson smiled at her lovingly, then leaned in and kissed her on the lips. Clawdeen happily accepted it.
They stayed like that for a good while before Jackson pulled away. He smiled at her lovingly, gazing into her golden eyes with his blue. “I mean every word. I love you.”
“I love you too,” Clawdeen replied with a happy grin.
It was only a short time later that the touching moment was interrupted by the waiter. Neither one minded though, nothing could ruin their night. The two ordered their food and continued to talk happily for the rest of the night. Their food came soon after and their night simply remained great. They talked far into the night, which was all right since it was a Friday.
Eventually, their romantic dinner came to its end, and Jackson paid for the food before escorting himself and Clawdeen back to his car. They drove back to his house, still in the same good mood they started with. Clawdeen didn’t need to return home, for she had told her parents she would be staying with Jackson for the night. They did not minded, they trusted Jackson, having met the boy before.
“That was amazing Jackson,” Clawdeen said as Jackson opened the door to let her out.
“Yeah, it was,” Jackson said with a big smile. “Come on, we have the whole house to ourselves tonight.”
“Really?” Clawdeen replied in surprise.
“Yeah, my parents are out on a date, and so is Holt. Cleo’s staying with Frankie tonight,” Jackson explained. He then leaned in close and rested his head against Clawdeen’s. “Which means we have the whole place to ourselves.” Clawdeen simply grinned before quickly kissing Jackson on the lips.
The two entered the silent house holding hands. Once Jackson closed the front door, the two headed up to his room. Jackson locked to door, and turned around before embracing Clawdeen into a loving kiss.
The kiss started simple enough, but slowly their innocent kiss turned into a passionate make out session. Clawdeen wrapped her arms around Jackson’s waist, pressing her firm body against his. Jackson thrust his hands into her soft hair, intertwining his fingers into those long brown locks. Her hair was so soft, and it smelled like cherry shampoo. As of now, Jackson knew just how all his girls smell, and each one was so different and yet each one drove his nerves equally wild.
While Jackson’s right hand continued to relish the feel of Clawdeen’s hair, his left trailed down her back to her rear. He cupped her firm ass, causing the she-wolf to squeal into the kiss. Jackson mentally smirked. It may sound selfish, but he liked it when he was the one in control. Sure, he had no problems with his girls taking the reins, but it did feel nice being the one on top. Clawdeen didn’t mind either. She loved it when Jackson would take control. It showed that amazing confidence that he had gained and she had grown to love.
Jackson’s right hand left Clawdeen’s hair and cupped the other side of her rear. He then carefully picked her up off the floor. In response, Clawdeen wrapped her legs around Jackson’s waist tightly. Jackson then walked over to his bed and gently set the she-wolf down onto the soft covers. Clawdeen eased slightly, but did not let go of Jackson.
As they continued to kiss, Jackson’s hands moved to her dress. Ever so carefully, Jackson removed the dress starting from Clawdeen’s shoulders. Clawdeen did the same, carefully removing Jackson’s clothes from his body. They helped each other remove the other’s clothing, leaving them until they were in only their underwear. Clawdeen could feel Jackson’s erect member through the cloth of her panties and Jackson’s boxer. The heat he was packing excited her nerves to no end.
“Clawdeen,” Jackson whispered as he pulled away for only a second. She was so beautiful, so amazing, it was nothing short of a miracle to him that someone like her would care for him. It was even more amazing that the other ghouls he was dating all felt the same way. He was certainly lucky.
“Jackson,” Clawdeen muttered softly. Jackson smiled warmly as he leaned down and kissed her once more. His hands glided over to her breasts, gently squeezing them through the cloth of her bra. He could feel her nipples hardened under his touch. He rubbed them and continued to fondle her breasts. Clawdeen moaned into Jackson’s mouth as he teased her body. He rubbed himself again her thighs, arousing them both further.
Jackson’s hands then pulled Clawdeen’s bra down, exposing her hardened nipples to the cold air of his room. He continued to rub them and tease them, making Clawdeen moan harder into his mouth. He rubbed himself between her legs, pressing his restrained member against her clothed snatched.
“J-Jackson,” Clawdeen gasped as she gently pushed Jackson away. “J-Jackson…I-I don’t know how much longer I can hold out. I-I need you inside me!”
Jackson smiled softly as he leaned in and kissed her once more. “More than happy to,” he whispered. Jackson first removed his underwear, releasing his hardened cock. It was already dripping precum, obvious sign that he was just as excited as Clawdeen. He then carefully removed her panties, exposing her moist heat.
Jackson positioned himself in front of Clawdeen’s entrance before thrusting inside her. “Jackson!” Clawdeen cried out in ecstasy as she felt Jackson’s rod forge its way inside her.
“C-Clawdeen!” Jackson exclaimed. No matter how many times he took her, Clawdeen always remained perfectly tight around his member. He quickly pulled out before thrusting back in.
Jackson rammed into Clawdeen, pushing his member deep inside her with each thrust. With each time, the two would either moan in unison, crying out their love for one another and their love of the other’s feel. Clawdeen loved Jackson and the feel of his cock inside her. She had gone on dates before, but none of them made her feel as special as Jackson did. He made her feel like one in a million, and not only that, he made her feel like she was one the greatest roller coaster ever as he continued to fuck her. Jackson may have fallen for Frankie first, but now he was sure he had fallen for Clawdeen just the same. She was just as special to him and Frankie and the other ghouls, and he loved her body just as much as he loved theirs.
Jackson continued to thrust inside her, each time pushing against Clawdeen’s womb. It was lucky that Frankie and Cleo had gotten a large supply of those anti-pregnancy potions and shared them with the other ghouls. As Jackson continued to thrust, Clawdeen was sure she was about to reach her limit. She was also sure she’d be unable to walk right in the morning. Well, it was a good thing it was Friday.
“J-Jackson!” Clawdeen cried out happily. “Jackson! I’m going to cum!”
“Me too!” Jackson confessed. He could feel himself ready to blow at any second. As a last ditch effort, Jackson intensified his thrusts, pushing both teens over the edge.
“Jackson!!!”
“Clawdeen!!!”
The two howled in unison as they each reached their respective climaxes. Clawdeen’s snatched clenched around Jackson’s cock, closing off any possible passage for his seed to escape. Jackson learned through his many times fucking the ghouls that they preferred to take his semen inside them. Clawdeen could feel Jackson’s seed fill her, a feeling she had grown to love just as equally as Jackson himself.
Once their releases were spent, Jackson slumped to the side of the bed, pulling out his limp cock from Clawdeens’ snatch. His stamina may have improved since his first time, but there were times when he was just too exhausted to continue. Not that Clawdeen minded, she was okay to end the session there, equally as exhausted.
The two panted softly into the room, letting their energy return. After a short break, the two teens looked at each other.
Jackson’s blue eyes met with Clawdeen’s golden ones. He smiled lovingly at her and she smiled back. they moved towards each other, and wrapped their arms one another in a loving embrace.
“I love you Jackson,” Clawdeen whispered as she snuggled into Jackson’s warm chest.
“And I love you Clawdeen,” Jackson whispered back as he kissed her forehead. He reached over and pulled the blanket over them. The two snuggled closer before falling asleep into their embrace of love.
oOoOoOo
The weekend passed like any other and it was back to school.
Jackson walked alongside a chipper looking Clawdeen and a happy Cleo. Clawdeen was giving Cleo all the information on her date with Jackson.
“That is so sweet,” Cleo said with a light laugh. “You better do something like that for me on our next date.” She told Jackson.
Jackson simply smirked. “Well, you’ll just have to wait and see.” Cleo simply pouted, but quickly smiled back. The trio walked towards Frankie’s locker, intending to meet with her when-
“ACHOOOO!” a high-pitched voice sneezed. The trio quickly looked over and found Frankie by her locker, but sitting on the floor.
“Frankie!” the trio exclaimed as they rushed over. They stopped however when they got a better look at her.
Jackson was by no means a doctor, but just by looking at Frankie he could tell something was wrong. Her normal greenish skin was incredibly pale, and her differently-colored eyes had a twinge of red in them. Her nose was runny and she seemed very tired.
“Are you okay ghoul?” Clawdeen asked the Franken-Teen.
“Y-Yeah I’m f-fine,” Frankie moaned. Jackson could tell she was not and was about to say something when-
“ACHOOO!” another voice sneezed. Jackson turned his head and gasped.
Nearly all of the students looked just the same as Frankie – pale skin, red eyes and runny noses. Even the ghosts seemed affected, looking a bit more yellow than their normal pale-ish color.
“Attention all students!” Headmistress Bloodgood’s voice announced over the loud speaker. “Everyone come to the Gymnasium at once. This is an emergency!”
“Ghouls, you go on ahead, I’ll take Frankie,” Jackson said sternly. Clawdeen and Cleo did not argue and quickly followed several of the other students to the gymnasium. Jackson, ever so carefully, picked up Frankie bridal style. “I got you Frankie,” he said softly as he carried her.
“J-Jackson…” Frankie said weakly. She felt so weird, so odd. She felt as if her energy was being drained from her.
Jackson followed the slow groups of students. As he did, he noticed more and more students looking ill. He only hoped that this was just a flu-bug that got through the school.
Eventually, Jackson made it to the gymnasium, and what he saw left him more speechless than before.
All across the floor there were several mats and berths set up. Many of them had sick looking monsters lying on them, all having the same symptoms as the others. He saw many he recognized, including Invisi Billy, Clawd, Draculaura, Lagoona, Gil, and Manny. Even Holt and Heath were on berths, as was Deuce.
“Jackson!” Clawdeen’s voice called. He turned to his left and saw her waving her hands at him. He quickly ran over, but stopped when he saw Toralei, Purrsephone and Meowlody all on their own berths, looking just as sick as Frankie.
“What’s going on?” Jackson exclaimed in shock.
“Necrolague,” a voice spoke from behind. Jackson turned around and saw Headmistress Bloodgood in some sort of hazmat suit. “Is Frankie ill as well?” she asked. Jackson hesitantly nodded back. “Very well, set her on one of the berths over there.”
Jackson did as told, setting Frankie down on the closest open berth. She looked so sick and so ill. “What’s going on Mistress Bloodgood?” Clawdeen asked.
“As I said, Necrolague,” Bloodgood replied. “Necrolague is a very dangerous disease, one to have been thought to have been extinct for a long time.”
“What do you mean?” Cleo, who was next to Clawdeen, asked.
“Necrolague came around the same time as the human plague,” Bloodgood explained. “In many ways, it is similar to the plague, but it only affects monster. Also the effects are a lot less painful but much slower and equally as deadly.”
“How did this happen?” Jackson asked, not letting go of Frankie’s hand.
“I’m not sure,” Bloodgood replied. “Somehow some of the students were introduced to the virus and spread it to the rest of the school. We’re still trying to figure out what happened.”
“Is there a cure for it?” Clawdeen asked.
“Yes, there is,” Bloodgood replied. “It is called the Red-Blue Dragon Lily. Crushed into a fine powder and mixed with a special honey creates the cure for this virus.”
“The let’s go get it!” Clawdeen exclaimed. She took a step forward, but instantly faltered.
“Clawdeen!” Cleo exclaimed, but she faltered as well.
“Cleo! Clawdeen!” Jackson exclaimed in shock as his girls fell to the floor. He helped each of the up. “Are you two okay?”
“I was afraid of this,” Bloodgood said sadly. “They’re already being affected by the virus.” Bloodgood and Jackson helped the two girls each into a berth. “This is getting too serious. We’re going to need to quarantine the school.”
Jackson quickly turned to the Headmistress. “But what about the Dragon Lily?” he asked.
“I’m afraid it is not that simple to get,” Bloodgood replied. “The Necrolague virus has been gone for many years, so there was no need for the Red-Blue Dragon Lily. Not only that, it is an ancient flower that grows only in the deepest of the Catacombs below. I can’t leave my students right now to get it.”
Jackson looked at his girls and his friends. They were all laying on what could be their permanent death beds. Suddenly, an idea came to mind. “Then I’ll go.” Bloodgood looked at Jackson in shock. “You said that the Necrolague only affects monsters right? Well I’m not a monster, I’m a normie. I can go get that flower and we can make the antidote!”
“Jackson, are you insane?” Bloodgood exclaimed in shock. “The Catacombs are vast beyond belief. There are places there that even I don’t know about. Finding the Lily in there would be near impossible. No, you need to stay here and helps us. We will wait for a search team to come and find it.” Bloodgood said no more as she was called to another student.
However Jackson, for the first time in his life, had no intention of following orders. Looking around, seeing so many of his friends and his ghoulfriends all lying on what could be their final death beds, was all the motivation Jackson needed to know what he had to do.
“Sorry Headmistress,” Jackson whispered. He snuck out of the gymnasium, making sure no one noticed or followed him.
Once he was safely away from the gym, Jackson snuck his way to the Catacombs. He hadn’t been in these ancient ruins as much as the ghouls, but he knew that it didn’t matter. He needed to find the Red-Blue Dragon Lily no matter what.
Jackson wandered through the dark halls of the Catacombs. He knew that he was pushing his luck searching for a flower without any knowledge of where it could be. It was already creepy enough with how quiet the area was.
“Well hey Suga’,” said a southern voice cutting through the silence. Jackson rapidly turned around and met face to face with Operetta. “What are you doin’ down here?”
“Operetta,” Jackson said in surprise. “I thought you were upstairs with the others.”
“Nah,” Operetta replied. “I don’t have my first class till a bit later. Why? What’s goin’ on Sug’?” Jackson explained the situation to her. “Oh dear, Necrolague? I’ve heard about this disease. How did it get into the school?”
“I don’t know, and neither does Bloodgood,” Jackson replied. “That’s why I’m down here though. I’m trying to find a flower called the Red-Blue Dragon Lily. That’s supposedly the only cure for Necrolague.”
“The Red-Blue Dragon Lily,” Operetta repeated in surprise. “I know where it is. I’ve seen it.”
Jackson’s eyes widened in shock. “Really? You know where it is! Let’s go get it then!”
“Whoa, whoa, hold on Sug’. It ain’t that easy,” Operetta replied. “The flower only grows in one of the deepest caverns of the Catacombs. Not only that it’s guarded by a giant snake that could pretty much even eat a full grown minotaur alive. It’s too dangerous.” Jackson stared at her for a few seconds before turning around and walking off. “Where are you goin’ Jackson?”
“To find that flower,” Jackson replied sternly as he walked.
Operetta blinked in surprise. “Jackson are you nuts? You’ll get lost down here, and even if you find the cavern, you’ll get eaten alive!” Jackson simply continued to walk. “Jackson!”
“Operetta, our friends are upstairs on what could be their deathbeds,” Jackson said, a stern and confident tone coming through. “They need that flower, and since no one else is willing, I need to go and get it. I’m tired of being left on the sidelines and not doing anything. I’m tired of being pushed around and being told I’m unable to do anything. I’m done being that weak kid I was before, and I refuse to let my friends suffer alone as long as there is something I can do.” Jackson stared at the open hallways of Catacombs. “I’m doing this no matter what anyone says.” Jackson walked forward, leaving a surprisingly stunned Operetta.
Operetta watched as Jackson continued forward. She was honestly surprised to hear such strength and conviction from someone normally as timid as Jackson. She had heard he had changed a lot as of late, but didn’t think it was like this. He had confidence she had never seen in him before. Sure, she saw him win some casketball games, but didn’t realize just how much confidence the boy had gained. Operetta surprisingly found herself smirking at the normie figure walking away from.
She quickly ran over and started to walk next to him. Jackson looked at her with raised eyebrows. “If you’re so determined to find that flower, you might as well get there the right way,” Operetta said with a light smile. Jackson blinked in surprise for a few seconds before smiling back.
“Thanks Operetta,” Jackson replied.
The two walked through the Catacombs quietly as Operetta led Jackson to the location. As they walked, Operetta found herself looking quite often at the normie boy. She couldn’t get over the confidence he displayed before and had to admit, it was pretty attractive. Then again, the normie boy was already pretty attractive to begin with, apparent by the body he hid beneath his former-nerdy clothes. She has had crushes before, including some she’s had on Deuce and Holt, but never expected she would find Jackson attractive.
“So Operetta,” Jackson spoke, snapping the ghoul out of her thoughts. Operetta held herself from jumping and quickly hid a faint blush. “You said that your first class doesn’t start till later. What did you mean?”
“Oh, I just mean my music class,” Operetta replied. “It usually starts later than the other classes since the teacher always arrives a bit late, so I usually have some more time to spend around down here.”
“That makes sense,” Jackson replied. “I always liked your music. You’re really good.”
At this, Operetta looked at Jackson in surprise. “Really, I thought that it was music that turned you into old Holt back when you two were still a package deal.”
“Actually, it was just really loud or noisy music,” Jackson explained. “I was able to listen to some softer stuff that didn’t cause the change. After Holt and I separated, I was able to listen to a lot more, but surprisingly, your music never caused a change. I always found it nice.” Jackson rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment, blushing lightly at his own words.
Operetta stared in surprise. “Really? Huh, well I’m glad you liked it Suga’. It’s sort of hard to find monsters that like my style of music. Even Holt doesn’t always agree with my style sometimes,” she confessed.
“Well, heh, I guess then it’s a good thing I’m a normie,” Jackson admitted, though the double meaning of his statement was clear to both. Jackson was human, and while he did not have the amazing abilities a lot of monsters had, he was definitely special in his own right. And right now, with the rest of the school in such danger, it was going to take a normie to save them all. “But in all honesty, I wouldn’t worry too much about Holt. He loves music, but he’s stubborn when it comes to his preferences. So much so, I think he could beat Manny’s bullheadedness.”
Operetta giggled at Jackson’s statement and smiled at the voice. “Very true Sug’,” she replied. The two continued to walk through the Catacombs with Operetta leading the way. However, as they walked, Operetta felt another question come to mind. “Hey Jackson, you mind if I ask you somethin’?”
“Go right ahead,” Jackson replied.
“What exactly motivated you to separate from Holt?” Operetta asked. The knowledge about Jackson’s and Holt’s separation spread like wildfire after it happened, but no one seemed to know the story as to why or how they split apart. All either of them ever said was that Jackson made a potion to split them apart, but that was it.
As soon as the question was asked, Jackson froze for a second. He quickly recovered and continued to walk, hoping Operetta did not notice. She did.
“You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to,” Operetta stated. “I mean, it’s probably none of my business anyways. I just wanted to know.”
“No, it’s okay,” Jackson replied. “I guess I can tell you, but it’s a pretty long story.”
“Well, we got some time before we reach the cavern, so we should be okay,” Operetta stated, and Jackson nodded back.
“Okay then,” Jackson said. He took a deep breath and began to speak. “Well, it all started sometime after last Halloween. You know, when me and Holt nearly got our heads bitten off.” Operetta nodded surely, remembering the event that nearly cost the lives of the two entities. “Anyways, during that time, Holt and I had been trying to get a bit better along. I think we were actually making some progress, but our constant changes and inability to communicate with one another left us still struggling. Add to the fact that the entire school still had hostility against humans. Being the nerdy normie left me as a constant target to some of those jackasses that believe we are nothing more than inferior creatures. Add the fact that many of them admitted they liked Holt more than me and that they feel sorry for him to be stuck with a ‘loser-normie’ side.” Jackson realized his breath was going a bit fast, but made sure to calm himself quickly enough. “Anyways, I guess it all just got so bad that I didn’t think I could handle it anymore. I found the formula to the potion in the black market of town. You’d be surprise at what you can find there. Anyways, I used the lab in school after everyone left to make the potion. I’m not sure on all the details, but the potion apparently worked and Holt and I were left unconscious on the floor. From what I understand, Mr. Hackington found us on the floor and we were both taken to the hospital. According to the doctors, both human and monster, there were no apparent side effects to the potion and Holt and I were allowed to live our own lives.”
Operetta found herself completely speechless.
It was common knowledge that Jackson faced problems in school, being the only human in a school for monsters. His smaller form made him an easy target for bullies, and it was definitely no secret that a lot of monsters preferred Holt over him, being the party animal and an actual monster. But to think that all that abuse and hurt would have caused him to split a part of himself from himself, Operetta couldn’t even imagine the sort of torment that Jackson must have been going through.
“I don’t regret it though,” Jackson continued, surprising Operetta. “Me and Holt separating fixed a good number of problems. We are different from each other, like night and day, and our constant changes made things difficult. But now that we are free to make our own choices, we’ve actually gotten a lot closer. I still feel a connection to him, but now he feels more like a brother to me. We even found we had a good number of things in common, something I never thought could happen. Also, it did get some of the bullies off my back. Also, I can’t deny that my life’s gotten a lot better now. I’m honestly happy.”
Jackson’s smile was a clear sign of his words, and Operetta could not be more amazed. This normie boy clearly had much more strength than anyone gave him credit for. She couldn’t help smile back at him.
“It’s still weird,” Jackson continued. “Who would have thought me and Holt separating would bring us closer together. It also stopped me from-“ Jackson immediately snapped his mouth shut. “Anyways, it ended helping us both,” he finished quickly.
Operetta noticed Jackson’s quick change in demeanor and words. He stopped himself from saying something and then just went back to talking about how the split helped them. Simply by looking at his face, she could tell he was hiding something, and by the look of it, possibly painful. Deciding to let it slide, she simply nodded.
Their walking turned to silence, and the two walked quietly alongside one another. That was until the reach a high ledge with a small waterfall.
“Be careful here,” Operetta said placing her body against the wall. “We need to cross this in order to get to the cavern of the flower.” Jackson nodded, following Operetta’s example. The crawled against the ledge, careful not to fall or look down. “Be careful here Sug’. These stone walls ain’t what the used to-“
CRACK!
“AH!” Operetta screamed as the ground beneath literally gave way.
“Operetta!” Jackson exclaimed as he quickly grabbed Operetta’s arm, swinging her over to him and then hugging her tightly as the stone crumbled down to the far ground below. As soon as the crumbling stopped, Jackson turned back to Operetta who was hugging onto him tightly. “Operetta, you okay?”
Operetta grunted and looked up, and found herself staring into Jackson’s shinning blue eyes. Operetta was hypnotized by the brightness of those eyes, unable to move or speak. After several seconds, her mind returned to her and she quickly looked away, trying desperately to hide the blush that crept on her face. “I-I’m fine,” she managed to say.
“Okay,” Jackson replied, slightly confused by her actions, but did not push the subject. Carefully, he helped her back to the ledge and quickly the two made it to the other end.
As they continued on their trek, Operetta looked away shyly. “H-Hey…thanks for savin’ me.”
Jackson smiled lightly at her. “No problem,” he replied, smiling at her, and Operetta found herself blushing again.
‘What is wrong with me?!’ Operetta screamed in her mind. ‘Why am I getting all mushy over Jackson? Sure, he’s sweet and smart, not to mention not that bad looking, but I’ve never felt like this for anyone before. Not even for Deuce! After he and Cleo broke up I thought I could ask him out but he just didn’t seem interested. Deuce is nice, but he never made me feel like this, but why Jackson? He already has SIX ghouldfriends, one of them being Cleo! Yet my heart doesn’t seem to care. Not to mention he saved me. Where did Jackson get that strength? He just pulled me up like I was nothing and saved me. I know Jackson is good hearted, but where did he get the strength to pull me up like that? Seems like there’s more to him than meets the eye.’ Operetta took a quick look at Jackson who continued walking forward, unaware of her thoughts. ‘Speaking of which, what was he about to say before? What could Jackson been planning to do that was stopped by him and Holt splitting. It must have been something serious otherwise he wouldn’t have stopped himself from saying it. What could it be?’
Jackson and Operetta continued on their trek, making their way closer and closer to the cavern where the Dragon Lily resides. As they walked, Jackson began conversation again, asking Operetta more about her music. Operetta was able to come out of her thoughts and the two continued to speak lightly with one another. This made the time go a lot faster, and before they knew it-
“We’re here,” Operetta spoke as she and Jackson stood in front of their destination. There was a large wooden door that was easily five times Jackson’s size. At the top was a stone figure in the shape of a snake coiled around a flower.
“Wow, could they make it any more obvious?” Jackson said sarcastically. He stepped forward and reached for the door, but Operetta grabbed his hand.
“Are you nuts?!” Operetta practically screamed. “Inside is possibly the scariest creature you’ll ever see, and possibly he last thing you’ll ever see. Do you think you can just walk in, get the flower, and get out? Do you even have a plan?”
“Nope,” Jackson replied. “Not yet at least.” Operetta looked at him weirdly. “In order to make a plan, I need to access the situation. And the only thing that can help me with that is to see what’s inside. Even if I can’t come up with a plan, I’ll still try and get that flower. All our friends, everyone up top is counting on us, and I won’t let them down.”
‘Okay, this is just getting ridiculous,’ Operetta thought as she was stunned by Jackson once again. It was starting to turn into a trend. Despite her fears, she pulled her hand back and Jackson pushed on the door. Jackson carefully shoved on it with all his strength, and surprisingly it opened.
Once the doors were fully opened, Jackson and Operetta slowly sneaked inside. The cavern was lit with several torches, and inside was a large pool of water surrounding a small islet. On that islet was a set of beautiful flowers with red and blue petals.
“If I were to make a guess, I’d say those are the Red-Blue Dragon Lilies,” Jackson said with a smile.
“Just one should be enough,” Operetta stated. “I don’t see the snake though, where is it?”
“I don’t know, but we need to be careful,” Jackson said. Slowly, he stepped forward. He slowly and quietly made his way towards the flowers. He just needed to get to the water, jump over to the islet, grab the flower, and bolt it back to the school. “Just a little bit more…”
*SSSSS*
“What was that?” Operetta whispered as she clung onto Jackson. From the shadows, two large golden eyes appeared, freezing the two students in fear. Suddenly, a large reptilian head emerged from the darkness, followed by a long lanky body. the creature was covered in black scales and had a pair of long white fangs in its mouth. The creature circled around Jackson and Operetta, showing off its massive form. Beneath the large beast appeared several smaller ones, all looking like miniature versions of their parent.
“Snakes, why does it always have to be snakes,” Jackson groaned as he stared into the face of the fabled monstrous creature.
“What do you want human?!” a mysterious feminine voice spoke into the minds of Jackson and Operetta.
“W-Who said that?!” Operetta screamed.
“I think…i-it was her?” Jackson said, pointing at the giant serpent.
“I will not ask again, who are you and why are you here human?!” the enormous beast practically cried in Jackson’s mind.
“I-I-I-“ Jackson stammered, his voice faltering and his old fears returning. Jackson then remembered his mission, and quickly took a deep breath and looked at the giant snake. “My name is Jackson Jekyll, and this is my friend Operetta. We came here for the Red-Blue Dragon Lily.”
“You will not take my treasure human!” the giant snake roared. Suddenly, all the smaller snakes began to slither their way towards Jackson and Operetta.
“Jackson!” Operetta screamed. All the snakes bared their fangs, ready to bite at them.
“Wait, we can explain!” Jackson cried out, pushing Operetta behind him as they stepped away from the snakes. “We need the flower to help our friends. They’ve all been infected by a virus called Necrolague, and we need the flower to save their lives!”
“Lies!” the snake cried out. “All humans care about are themselves. Once, the Lilies bloomed all over the world, but humans harvested them for their beauty, not caring if any were left behind for the other creatures. I was there when the Necrolague first came, and I was the one that gave the monsters the first flower. Humans wanted this flower for themselves, leaving nothing for the rest of the world. I took the last of these flowers underground to protect them from humans like you. I will not let you take my treasure!”
Jackson and Operetta kept moving back away from the snakes. Every few seconds one tried to bite them, but they were able to dodge it. They kept getting further into the cavern until Operetta felt stone touch her back. “Jackson…”
Jackson looked back and gasped. They were cornered into a stone wall with several ledges that led to nowhere. Jackson looked back, trying desperately to figure out a way out of their situation. He knew he needed the flower, but he knew he couldn’t risk Operetta getting hurt. “Operetta, climb up the rocks!” Jackson cried out.
“Wha-Jackson!” Operetta cried out in shock. What was he thinking?
“No time to argue, just go!” Jackson exclaimed, pushing her with all his strength up onto a stone ledge. He then reached for one of the lit torches and swung them in front of the snakes.
“Humans are selfish creatures, only thinking of themselves,” the giant snake spoke again. “The monsters betrayed me when they showed the humans my flower, and the humans took my flowers for themselves. You will both suffer for your kinds’ crimes against me. My clan’s venom is the most potent in the world, neither of you will not survive.”
Jackson grit his teeth. He needed to think fast, he needed to at least get Operetta to safety. “Operetta, he kept swinging the flaming torch in front of the snakes, warding them off just barely. Operetta watched in fear as Jackson tried to hold off the snakes. She was so terrified, she didn’t notice one snake that scaled the wall. Operetta then heard a hiss and quickly turned to see the small snake staring back at her, baring its fangs.
“AAAAAAAAAH!”
“OPERETTA!” Jackson yelled as he turned around. He lunged his arm forward, taking the snake bite in the arm. “AAAAAH!” Jackson fell to the ground with a loud thud and the snake released its hold from Jackson’s arm, slithering away.
“J-JACKSON!” Operetta screamed as reality slapped her in the face. She crawled down the wall, not caring about the snakes. She saw some getting closer to Jackson’s fallen body and narrowed her eyes. “Get away from HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIM!!!”
Using her sonic voice, she blew away the smaller snakes from Jackson’s body. The giant snake cried in pain from the loud cry.
Operetta ceased her scream, seeing most of the small snakes were knocked out. “Jackson!” she said as she quickly turned and rushed to the human boy. She gasped as she saw the bite mark on his arm and his blood mixed with venom slowly leaked out.
“O-O-Operetta…” Jackson groaned weakly. The venom was already coursing through his system. Operetta picked up Jackson’s head and placed it on her lap. “Y-You knocked out the snakes. T-This is yo-our chance. Grab t-the flower and take it t-to the others…” Jackson gasped in pain.
“No way,” Operetta countered. “I’m not leavin’ you here sug’. I need to get you up top to get some help.”
“There’s no t-time,” Jackson gasped. “You need to take the flower and help everyone upstairs.”
“B-But Jackson!” Operetta tried to argue but Jackson put his hand on hers.
“H-Hey, it’s okay,” Jackson spoke with a soft smile. “The others a-are more i-important than me. As a nerdy normie once said, ‘the needs of the many outweighs the needs of the few.’ You need to save everyone else. Don’t worry about me.” Operetta was practically in tears. Jackson was willing to sacrifice his life for monsters, many of which didn’t even treat him right for most of his stay at Monster High.
Jackson’s words did not go unheard by the giant snake. She was stunned by Jackson’s actions and words. He willingly let himself get bitten by one of her clan for a monster girl, but he was willing to sacrifice his own life for many more monsters. She never knew humans could be selfless like that. She rose her head high and spoke, “Take the flower.”
Operetta turned around in shock. She looked at the snake in the eyes. “W-What?”
“Your young friend has proven to me that perhaps not all humans are selfish creatures as I once thought,” the snake spoke again. Using her tail, she plucked three Red-Blue Dragon Lilies and handed them to Operetta. “Take these flowers. They will heal your fellow monsters from the Necrolague virus.”
“B-But I can’t leave Jackson,” Operetta cried out, still holding Jackson’s head in her laps.
“Do not worry dear one,” the snake said softly. “My daughter has the cure for our kind’s venom. She will heal your human friend and take him up top.”
“I-I think we can trust her Operetta,” Jackson spoke softly. Operetta looked back at Jackson with tears in her eyes. Jackson smiled softly and placed his hand on her cheek. “Go. I’ll be fine.”
Operetta sniffled softly and nodded. “I promise, I’ll be back,” she whispered softly. She gave Jackson a quick kiss on his forehead before running off with tears in her eyes. As she ran, no one saw her eyes flash pink for a split second.
“You are a brave young man,” the giant snake replied. “You said your name was Jackson. I am Queen Anguis, I apologize for my actions. I had not known any humans to be as selfless as you.”
“Eh…n-no problem,” Jackson said with a weak laugh.
Queen Anguis gave a soft smile back. “My daughter Scyla is the only one who has the cure for our kinds’ virus. Scyla.” From the shadows appeared another female snake, but this one was unlike all the others.
She had a much more human shape, including arms and legs. She had deep green skin with thin black stripes over her arms and legs. She had a nice feminine figure, long black hair with red highlights that reached to her shoulders. She had bright golden reptilian eyes like her mother. She wore red top with no sleeves and a short red/black skirt.
“Yes mother?” the snake girl spoke softly.
“This young boy needs the antidote. Hurry, time is of the essence,” Queen Anguis spoke. The young snake girl nodded and walked over to Jackson. She placed his head on her lap, looking at his soft features.
“S-So…” Jackson said weakly, his body racked with pain. “Y-You’re Q-Queen Anguis’s d-daughter...?”
“Yes, my name is Scyla,” the girl replied. “I need to give you the antidote. You will be knocked out after.”
“W-Well, g-good night then,” Jackson said with a soft smile. Scyla smiled back before placing her lips on Jackson’s. And then-
Darkness…
oOoOoOo
“Ugh…”
“…ackso…”
‘Huh? Who’s that?’
“…ackson…”
“J…ckson!”
“JACKSON!”
“WAAAH!” Jackson screamed a loud voice woke him from his slumber.
“Whoa, easy cuz, calm down,” a familiar voice spoke. Jackson blinked several time, letting his eyes adjust to the light. When they did, he saw a familiar face, the face of his cousin Heath Burns.
“H-Heath…?” Jackson staggered to say. His throat felt incredibly dry.
“His throat is dry, Holt get him some water,” the voice of Jackson’s father spoke. A cup of water held by a familiar blue hand appeared before him and Jackson gratefully took it. He drank down the water quickly, nearly choking as some went down the wrong pipe.
“Easy cuz, don’t drown yourself,” Heath said, patting Jackson’s back.
Once Jackson managed to catch his breath, he turned to Heath and said, “Thanks Heath.” Heath smiled back, and once Jackson drank the rest of the water, much calmer this time, he checked his surroundings.
He was inside a hospital room, surrounded by his father, mother, uncle, aunt, Heath and Holt. They all looked at him with concerned yet relieved faces. Jackson was in a hospital bed with some cords attached to his right arm.
“W-What happened?” Jackson said, slightly stunned.
“You saved the school you knucklehead!” Holt exclaimed with a big smile.
“H-Huh?” Jackson stuttered in confusion. Then his memory hit him like a ton of bricks. “Wait! The flower! The school! Is everyone okay?! Are they alive?”
“Calm yourself my boy, before you have a heart attack,” Jackson’s father told him. “Everyone from your school is alive and well, obvious since Heath and Holt are not in medical beds like you are.”
Jackson slowly nodded in understanding. He let out a sigh of relief. “Good. Everyone is okay. That means Operetta made it.” Jackson’s family nodded to him, confirming his thoughts. “Wait, if Operetta got the flower to you guys in time, how did I get here?”
“We were actually hoping you’d tell us,” Jackson’s mother replied. “From what we understand, your friend Operetta said you were bitten by a poisonous snake and should have been dead.” Jackson could easily see tears begin to form in his mother’s eyes. The thought of her losing her son was a burden too big for her to bear.
“I-I-I’m not sure,” Jackson replied. “I-I remember Queen Anguis saying that her daughter had the antidote for the virus.”
“Queen Anguis?” Jackson’s father repeated.
“She’s the guardian of the flowers,” Jackson explained. “She had a huge hatred for humans and mistrust for monsters. She attacked us because she thought we were going to steal her flowers for ourselves. She changed her mind after I took the snake bite that was meant for Operetta and told her to leave me and take the flower to help everyone else. Once Operetta took the flower, her daughter Scyla appeared to give me the antidote. After that, I can’t remember.” That was half true. Jackson didn’t think it was a good idea to tell his family that the snake girl had kissed him before he fell unconscious.
“Well, whatever happened, we’re just glad you’re alright son,” Jackson’s father said, placing his hand on his son’s shoulder. “I’m very proud of you my boy, but please don’t do anything so reckless again. Your mother and I don’t want to outlive you.”
Jackson chuckled lightly and nodded. “I promise dad.” The rest of his family smiled at him, happy to see the black/gold haired boy alive and well. “Out of curiosity, how long have I’ve been out?”
“A few days actually,” Jackson’s uncle replied, surprising Jackson. “Whatever that venom that was in your system was, it must have really tired you out. The doc’s still trying to figure out what happened.”
“Whatever it was, I’m just glad my baby is still alive,” Jackson’s mother said as she hugged her son’s neck.
“Mom!” Jackson cried out as he blushed from being called a baby. The rest of his family laughed at Jackson’s maternal misery.
“Dear, leave the boy alone,” Jackson’s father laughed lightly. “We should give him some space, he did just wake up after all. He’s probably still exhausted.” Reluctantly, Jackson’s mother pulled away, much to Jackson’s relief. “Jackson, we’re going to go out for a minute, but we’ll be back soon, alright?”
“Yeah, that’s fine,” Jackson replied. After getting another hug from his mom, one from his aunt and uncle, and one surprisingly from Heath and Holt, Jackson’s family left his room one by one.
“Oh, before I leave, you have a few more visitors,” Jackson’s father said with a smirk that Jackson knew all too well.
“Oh crap,” Jackson said as he realized his father’s words.
“JACKSON!” six united voices cried as Jackson was instantly swarmed by his six ghoulfriends.
“AH! HELP!” Jackson cried out as he was swarmed by the six ghouls.
“Heh, I almost feel sorry for the poor guy,” Deuce said lightly as he and Clawd stood at the door. Along with them were Howleen, Draculaura, Manny, Invisi Billy, Abbey and several other students of Monster High.
“Almost,” Clawd said with a smirk as they watched Jackson get swarmed.
“Ach! Let me breath!” Jackson cried out as he finally managed to free himself from the ghouls’ grasp. He then received a hard hit upside the head, courtesy of Cleo. “OW! What was that for?”
“That was for scaring us half to death,” Cleo scolded. “You have any idea how scared we all were? Do you realize how reckless you were?!”
“Okay! Okay! I get it! I’ll never do it again!” Jackson exclaimed holding his head.
Toralei giggled lightly and smiled at the girls. “I think he’s learned his lesson, don’t you Frankie?”
“Yep!” Frankie replied with a big grin.
She reached over and pulled Jackson’s face towards hers. “Franki-mph!” Jackson’s voice was silenced as Frankie placed her lips upon his.
“Okay, now I’m just jealous,” Manny chuckled along with the others as they watched Jackson and Frankie make out.
“Hey, don’t hog him for yourself,” Clawdeen said teasingly as she pulled Jackson away from Frankie and planting her lips on his.
“Ooh, my turn!” Meowlody exclaimed as she grabbed Jackson and pulled him into another kiss.
“No, me!” Purrsephone cried as she pulled Jackson into a kiss as well.
“Okay, my turn!” Cleo exclaimed as she pulled Jackson into a fifth kiss.
“Nope, it’s mine!” Toralei said as she pulled Jackson into her own kiss.
“Uh, ghouls,” Deuce said, snapping the girls from their actions. “I think you might want to take it easy before he ends up in the emergency room.” The ghouls all gave him a questioning look until they turned to Jackson, who looked practically brain dead.
“Whoops, I think we might have overdone it,” Clawdeen said lightly.
“We should have taken it easier on him,” Meowlody reasoned.
“Jackson, wake up,” Frankie said, gently patting Jackson’s face. “I think we finally broke him.”
“Yeah, well it’s his own fault for making us worry so much,” Cleo said, trying to pout.
Deuce chuckled light as he walked over. He put on a pair of wool gloves and rubbed his hands together. He placed a finger on Jackson’s shoulder, sending a static shock through.
“Wai-wha?!” Jackson exclaimed as his nerves zapped right into him. He saw Deuce putting his gloves back in his pocket. “Oh, thanks Deuce.”
“Eh, I just came prepared,” Deuce said with a smirk. “I knew there was a chance you’d need a quick zap since all of these girls seemed ready to make you brain dead.”
“Yeah,” Jackson said, shooting the six ghouls a glare. They all gave him their best puppy eyes, and Jackson sighed. “Yeah, yeah, I missed you ghouls too.” All six gleamed and hugged him again. “Can’t breathe…”
Deuce chuckled again as the ghouls all released Jackson. “You know dude, if you wanted to become more famous around school, well you definitely got it.”
“Huh?” Jackson said in confusion.
“You’re famous dude!” Invisi Billy declared. “You pretty much got the entire school eating out of your hand.”
“What? Anyone want to explain this in normie terms?” Jackson asked.
“What they’re saying is that everyone knows that it was you that saved us from the Necrolague virus,” Draculaura explained. “Everyone is so amazed and happy. They all have new respect for you.”
“‘Laura’s right,” Clawd replied. “Heck, the team made you this.” Manny handed Clawd a small trophy that resembled a casketball trophy. He handed it to Jackson, and pointed at the engraving. Jackson cocked an eyebrow and looked at the engraving. It said “Hero of Monster High: Jackson Jekyll.” Jackson blinked in surprise.
“And we got this,” Howleen said, bringing out a large black/pink card. “We got a bunch of monsters to sign it for your recovery.” Draculaura helped her open the card and show it to Jackson.
All over the card were countless signatures from many different students from Monster High, all of which wishing Jackson a speedy recovery. Jackson could barely count how many names were on the card. There were several he recognized, but the rest were from students that at one point in time made fun of him or just ignored him. Jackson could barely believe what he was seeing. So many monsters, so many people, all of which were wishing for him to recover and come back to school.
Jackson stared at the card, unable to speak. Never in his life, never, had he felt so…good. The only thing that came close was when he made love to his ghouls, but it was a different kind of good. All his life, all Jackson ever wanted was to be liked, to fit in. For most of his life, he was outed for who he was – a nerd and a normie. No one seemed to give him a chance to see that there was more to him than just that. It wasn’t until he came to Monster High that some beings were willing to give him a chance, but even then not many did. His friends made him feel like he belonged, but now Jackson knew that Monster High was where he belonged.
A few stray tears escaped Jackson’s eyes, but he continued to smile. The others were surprised by his tears, but his smile told them these were tears of joys.
“Thanks guys,” Jackson managed to say, whipping away the tears. “This…this means a lot to me.”
“Any time dude,” Deuce said, placing his hand on Jackson’s shoulder. “Like I said, you’re one of us. No matter what anyone says, you’re a monster in here.” He placed his finger on Jackson’s chest. Jackson smiled back at his best friend and nodded. Deuce smile back, taking off his sunglasses since Jackson was surprisingly unaffected by his stone-cold stare thanks to his glasses. Deuce put them back on and turned to the others. “Come on dudes, let’s go. We should give Jackson some time to rest.”
“Yeah, come on guys,” Clawd said, leading the group out of the room. He set the trophy on a nearby table while the girls set the card next to it.
“Get better dude,” Deuce said, holding out his fist. “We need you back out there.”
“No worries,” Jackson said, pounding Deuce’s fist with his own. The two smirked at each other as Deuce left the room.
“We’ll be back later,” Clawdeen said to Jackson, placing a quick kiss on his cheek.
“Alright, I’ll see you ghouls later,” Jackson replied. The girls all smiled at him and each placed a kiss on one of Jackson’s cheeks. One by one, they all walked out waving at Jackson as they left the room.
Frankie was the last to leave the room, but before she did she said, “By the way Jackson, there’s one more person who wants to talk to you.”
“Really? Who?” Jackson asked. Frankie simply smiled and exited the room. Jackson wondered who else could have possibly come to check on him. His answer came when the door reopened, revealing a familiar red-haired southern ghoul. “Operetta.”
“H-Hey Jackson,” Operetta stuttered as she walked in the room. In her hands was a small present box. “H-How are you feelin’?”
“Pretty good,” Jackson replied. He motioned for to come next to him, so she pulled a chair and sat next to him. “So I guess we did it then?” Jackson said lightly.
“Y-Yeah, I guess we did,” Operetta replied shyly. Jackson wondered what was wrong with her. She was so quiet, so shy, that was not like her.
“Is something wrong Operetta?” Jackson asked. Operetta looked up at him, meeting Jackson’s eyes with her own. She looked into his, almost as if into his soul, and suddenly broke into tears.
“J-J-Jackson!” she cried loudly as she wrapped her arms around Jackson’s neck in a tight embrace.
Jackson blinked in surprise as Operetta hugged him. He hadn’t expected this. “O-Operetta?” Operetta buried her head into the crook of his neck, sobbing as she hugged Jackson’s body as tightly as possible. Jackson sat in confusion, but eventually wrapped his arms around her, gently patting her back. “It’s okay Operetta, it’s okay.”
“Oh Jackson,” Operetta muttered softly between sobs. “I-I was so w-worried. I-I thought y-you had d-died!” Operetta continued to sob into Jackson’s shoulder and Jackson simply held her tight, letting her cry herself into him. Soon enough, her sobs became softer, but she still held him tight. “I was…s-so scared…I thought…I thought…”
“Hey, hey,” Jackson said softly into her ear. He gently pushed her off him and looked at her face. Her violet eyes were slightly red and her cheeks were stained from her tears. Jackson gently smile and wiped her cheeks. “Hey, I’m okay now, see? I’m fine and alive, so there’s no need to be sad, okay?” Jackson smiled at her, and Operetta found herself unable to smile back. “See, there’s the smile.”
Operetta gave of a soft laugh, shaking her head. She smiled at Jackson who just smiled back. “I’m just glad to see you alive Jackson. I was…really worried,” she said once more.
“Yeah, I know,” Jackson replied softly. “I’m sorry. But I’m okay now, see.”
“Y-Yeah,” Operetta replied. She began to look away, and seemed to have something on her mind.
“Is something wrong Operetta?” Jackson asked the siren.
Operetta looked at him with an undeterminable expression, making Jackson wonder what could be wrong. After a short silence, Operetta spoke, “Jackson…b-back in the Catacombs, you were about to say something about your separation from Holt. You said that it stopped you from something. What were you going to say?”
Jackson blinked in shock. He quickly turned away, unwilling to meet Operetta’s eyes. The memory was fresh in his mind, so he knew what she meant. However, he wasn’t sure if he could tell her what he was going to say. He was about to say something when he felt Operetta’s hand on his. He looked at her, meeting her eyes ready to go into tears once more.
“P-Please Jackson,” she whispered just loud enough for him to hear. He eyes were just about ready to turn into rivers once more as she stared him. Jackson bit his lip, he hated seeing ghouls cry, and seeing Operetta about to cry was just too much. He let out a soft sigh and looked at her.
“It all started back when Holt and I were still one,” Jackson spoke softly. “Things were…pretty bad. And they only just kept getting worse and worse. I said I got the potion to split me and Holt apart because I wanted to be separated from him, but that’s not entirely true.” Jackson took a deep breath before continuing. “I got the potion so that I wouldn’t take Holt with me.”
Operetta stared in confusion, not sure of what to make from Jackson’s words. Jackson saw this, and decided to finally get to the point.
“I was planning to commit suicide,” Jackson whispered, just barely loud enough for Operetta to hear. She did hear it though, and those words hit her like a rampaging minotaur. Jackson continued to look at his hands, unwilling to look at Operetta’s reaction. If he did, he would have seen the horrified look in her eyes.
“I was just, so tired – so tired of being hated, being despised, being…me…that I just couldn’t handle it anymore. Everyone just kept saying that I didn’t belong there, that I shouldn’t even exist, that I’m a waste of space and that Holt is the only one that they liked. I never blamed him for this, but it all just got too much to bear.” Tears began to sting Jackson’s eyes as the memories of those hurtful words and actions against him came rushing back. “It all just got so bad I couldn’t handle it any more. I made my choice that I was going to kill myself because I wasn’t worthy of living. I would have done it before if I knew what would happen to Holt. I might have hated him at the time, but I never wanted to hurt him like others hurt me. I didn’t want him to suffer because of me, so I tried to find a way to split us apart so that he would be safe from my actions. I planned to go down to the Catacombs after Holt and I separated, but I didn’t count on the two of us getting knocked out. That was the only reason I’m still alive now.”
The tears Jackson tried so desperately to keep in had escaped as the memories of his before the separation flooded his mind. All the pain, all the mental, physical, and emotional torment he had ever experienced because of who and what he was came like a kick to the chest making it difficult to breathe. Before Jackson could get too worked up, he felt a hand press itself on his shoulder.
He turned around and saw Operetta giving him her most comforting expression. Slowly, his breathing returned to normal as he calmed down.
“When I woke up in the hospital, I didn’t remember why I made the potion, but I did eventually. The thoughts of suicide still plagued my mind, but not as much as before. Me and Holt got along a lot better and I couldn’t ask for a better brother. I realized that I was stupid to think suicide would solve my problems. I would just be putting the few people that did care for me in the same pain I was in. I never wanted to hurt anyone, and I definitely don’t want to hurt my family. As the days passed by, things were still pretty bad, but they were a bit better because I knew I did the right thing in separating myself from Holt. However, it wasn’t until Frankie and I started dating that I got rid of all thoughts of suicide from my mind,” Jackson explained. He then looked up at the roof with a small smile. “So many monsters, so many people actually do care about me and like me. They don’t want to see me hurt just as much as I don’t want to see them get hurt. That’s why I was so hell-bent on getting the flower. I had so many friends who cared for me that I knew I couldn’t let them down. I owed them so much, I knew I had to do what I had to do.”
“Oh Jackson,” Operetta said softly as she stared at Jackson face. Throughout the entire story, she saw so many emotions pass through him – confusion, anger, sadness, regret, depression, relief, resolve, joy, happiness, conviction, and determination. All these emotions showed just how Jackson had grown since coming to Monster High and how much he has changed. It was all so inspiring, so much so, Operetta made up her mind on something that had plagued her since entering the room.
Jackson let out a soft sigh of relief having gotten all that tension off of his chest. “Well, you’re the first person I ever told this to. What do you th-mmfff!” Jackson’s words were cut off as Operetta placed her lips upon his.
Jackson’s eyes widened in shock at the kiss. He was completely confused as to why Operetta would kiss him like this. As the kiss continued, Jackson felt something odd yet familiar pass through him, and slowly he allowed himself to meld into the heated kiss.
Operetta wrapped her arms around Jackson’s neck, hugging him as tightly as possible. Jackson slowly wrapped his arms around her waist, pressing her firm figure against his. As the kiss seemed to intensify, their thoughts of stopping slowly disappeared as well. Jackson rubbed her back soothingly, feeling her surprisingly athletic figure beneath her clothes. His hands glided down to her buttocks and cupped them in his hands.
“mmmm…” Operetta moaned into the kiss, allowing Jackson to enter his tongue. Operetta’s eyes widened at the sudden intrusion, but felt herself melt as Jackson’s tongue teased her own.
‘I got to remember to thank Toralei for teaching met this trick,’ Jackson thought as he let his tongue do its job. He cupped Operetta’s butt more, squeezing it beneath his grip. He could feel Operetta shaking against him, pressing her firm breasts against his. His member was quickly becoming erect beneath the meager hospital shirt he had on. He pulled his left hand away from Operetta’s rear and cupper her breast, gently squeezing and rubbing the mound through their clothes. Operetta moaned even harder, feeling like putty in Jackson’s hands. The skills he developed through his many sessions with his ghoulfriends was showing.
This became even more obvious as Jackson’s right hand went around her waist and snaked its way into her pants. He dug into her panties and felt the wetness of her ghoul-hood. He stuck two of his fingers inside the siren’s snatch and wiggled them against the moist tight walls.
“J-J-Jackson!” Operetta screamed loudly. Jackson silently thanked that the room was soundproof. Jackson pressed his mouth to the crook of her neck, kissing and sucking on it while his hands continued to please her body. “FFFF-Jackson! J-Jackson i-so-ah!” Operetta continued moan and scream as Jackson’s seemingly magic fingers gave her pleasure she never knew before. He kept wriggling his fingers inside her snatch and fondled her breasts while also giving her neck tender kiss and licks. It was all too much to bear.
“J-Jackson!” Operetta screamed. “I can’t take it anymore! Jackson please! Take me!”
Jackson pulled away and gave a sly grin. “Well, I always do try to please,” he said before pressing his lips to Operetta’s once more.
Jackson pulled his hands away from Operetta’s body and began to undress her. He first undid her white shirt, revealing her C-cup breasts held by a lovely red bra. He reached behind her and undid her bra, freeing her lovely violet breasts and hard purple nipples.
For a second, Operetta realized what was happening and tried to cover herself, but Jackson’s surprisingly strong grip held her. “Don’t,” he whispered. “You’re beautiful.” Operetta blushed, but found herself smiling lovingly at him. Jackson proceeded in undressing Operetta, removing her shoes, sock and pants, leaving her in only scarlet red panties. Gently, he removed them, fully exposing the sirenic ghoul before him. Well, almost.
Jackson saw Operetta’s mask and gently removed it, revealing the rest of her lovely face. Operetta did not care, for she knew that in Jackson’s eyes, she was beautiful.
Jackson then proceeded to remove the hospital gown he had on, exposing his amazingly muscular frame to Operetta. She had seen him in a casketball jersey, but it didn’t show off just how much muscle Jackson had gained. She also saw his fully erect penis, and was amazed such a normie could have such an impressive appendage.
“This is going to hurt, but I’ll try to make it as quick as possible,” Jackson whispered into her ear. Operetta nodded as she lay on the bed beneath the black/gold-haired teen.
Jackson carefully positioned himself before Operetta’s ghoulhood before slowly pushing inside her. Operetta bit her lip as the sudden intrusion nearly threw her over the edge. Jackson kept pushing inside, reveling in the tightness of Operetta’s snatch until he felt a familiar barrier. He looked down, staring into her violet orbs with his own blue ones. He saw her look at him with certainty in her eyes. She wanted this, she wanted to be his. Jackson silently nodded and took a deep breath before thrusting inside, breaking Operetta’s virginity forever.
“OOAA-MMMMPH!” Operetta screamed as loud as her voice could allow before Jackson managed to silence her with his lips. He knew that if Operetta completed her scream, she may have overpowered and broken the soundproof glass. Jackson held her tight, letting her get used to his member inside her and letting her get over the pain that racked her inside.
Operetta had tears in her eyes, for the pain was stronger than she could ever imagine. Only Jackson’s kiss and loving embrace kept her from going over the edge. Despite still being in pain, Operetta’s scream eventually subsided, and Jackson pulled away and looked at her. “Operetta,” he whispered. “I need to move. I promise, it will feel better now.” Operetta silently nodded, confirming to Jackson to do what he needed to do.
Jackson nodded back and began to pull back before thrusting back in. Operetta cried out again, but this time it was much softer. Jackson continued his actions, thrusting in and out of Operetta’s snatch. With each thrust, Operetta let out soft cries and groans, adjusting to the feeling of the large appendage inside her. However, as Jackson continued to thrust, her feelings of pain were quickly changing to something else.
“O-Operetta!” Jackson cried out as he thrust inside the lovely ghoul. She was incredibly tight, and the warmth of her inside drove his nerves on end. He was sure he would not be able to hold on for long.
“J-Jackson!” Operetta moaned loudly as all the pain from before disappeared, and was replaced by incredible pleasure. She had heard some of her fellow students talk about sex, but never thought it would be something so amazing. It felt so unreal to feel something so amazing thrusting inside her, and she could only feel jealous that the others ghouls got him first. However, that jealousy was quickly crushed by another thrust. “Jackson! Yes Jackson! Oh Jackson!”
“O-Operetta!” Jackson moaned out as his thrusts became harder. He could feel the flood gates were practically ready to burst. “Operetta! I’m g-going to cum!”
“Jackson! Please! Please cum inside me! I want you inside me!” Operetta screamed. Like Jackson, she felt ready to go over the edge. It didn’t take long before she felt herself no longer able to hold it in. “JACKSON!”
Operetta’s snatch clenched tighter around Jackson’s member as she came to her climax, pushing him over the edge as well. “O-Operetta!” he cried out as his seed came shooting out of him and into Operetta’s insides. Both teens cried out in unison as their releases came. Operetta could barely breath as she felt Jackson’s seed surge into her. It felt so strange yet so amazing. She could only gape happily, knowing that she was now forever marked as Jackson.
Sometime later, after the two were exhausted from the intense session, they laid together on Jackson’s bed, still naked.
As they lay, Jackson couldn’t help stare at Operetta’s sleeping figure. After the events, she fell asleep, but not before giving Jackson a few words and one more heartfelt kiss. Jackson managed to clean both himself and her up and redressed her. She looked so peaceful and so happy, contrary to how she was before their little session.
As he stared at her, he couldn’t help but think of what she said to him. She told him that he needed to tell his family and maybe his ghoulfriends of his thoughts of suicide. It was clear that even now the thoughts still plagued him and he needed to get it off his chest. Jackson had to admit, he did feel a lot better after telling Operetta the truth, and that was before she ended up kissing him.
Speaking of which, right before she fell asleep, she told Jackson she wanted to be with him, to be his ghoulfriend. This made him think.
He already had six ghoulfriends, and he loved them all. But could he take Operetta as well? Frankie and the others all said before that if there was ever a girl that seemed to really like him and he liked her back, they would be happy to add another sister to their group. Jackson had to admit, he was getting used to the idea of having several ghoulfriends and had no problem managing his time so that they’d all have the proper attention. One more ghoul wouldn’t change that, and Jackson had to admit he always did have a little crush on Operetta. She was nice and kind and had great taste in music. If Operetta wanted to be with him, he would gladly accept her.
Jackson smiled warmly at the violet-skinned ghoul before him. He leaned in and kissed her forehead. He then noticed the present on the table. Curious, Jackson grabbed it and opened it. His eyes widened in surprise and he turned to Operetta. His smile became even sweeter as he looked at the red-haired ghoul. He pulled out the gift and set it on the table before hugging her and letting sleep claim him once more. As he slept, the gift Operetta had brought him rested next to him – a Red-Blue Dragon Lily.
Phew! This has got to be the longest chapter I have ever written ever.
I’ll tell ya, I had one heck of a time writing this chapter. I’m really happy with how it turned out, and am amazed with how long it is. This chapter was 31 pages long when I finished writing it, just to give you an idea with how long it was. Talk about long.
Interesting fact, the idea of this particular chapter was what started this whole mess. I first started getting interested in Monster High after watching the movie “Ghouls Rule.” That’s what got me interested in Jackson as well. I looked over the webisodes to see if any other Monster High webisodes focused on him. That’s when I found the episode “Scare-Borne Infection,” which this chapter is named as well. There was no description at the time, so I came up with my own idea. My idea was that a virus took over the students of the school, and Jackson being the only normie was not affected and was the only one to save the school. Along with that, I looked up some of the other Jackson pairings besides with Frankie to see what else there was. All that ended up turning into the story you guys are reading now.
As an honor to the idea that started it all, I wrote the very tale I first came up with, with Jackson proving himself as a true hero.
This will actually be the first of many adventures that will test Jackson’s meddle. About each five chapters, Jackson will be put into one major adventure that will test his strength and courage. I believe he will make it.
Oh, and for those of you wondering, Scyla is an OC of my own design. She will eventually be joining Jackson’s harem.
Next Time – Blue in the Lagoon
Still recovering from the events with the Necrolague, Jackson tries to get used to the idea of being a hero. At the same time, Holt has been acting odd ever since he found out about Jackson’s thoughts of suicide. Everything seems to escalate when Gill is forced to leave Monster High by his parents, and he seems to blame it all on Lagoona. Can Jackson succeed in fixing the relationships that need them? We shall see.
Well, that’s all I got for now. Until next time, and keep reviewing!
