It seems that the queen wants to form a band beautiful witches to serve her and help her fend off the growing rebellion, I'm going to lead it by the way. 5 he members would enjoy the privilege of being able to live and travel outside of these magic schools as well as a lot 9f money for their service. I was hope that Nyx would be joining, because of her studies she has become more than the slave of an evil weapon," Charmcaster said.
"Thanks but my days of working for the Vance family are long over," Nyx said.
"Very interesting. I always thought the students should be able to get out more and live a little," the Headmistress said. "Tell me just will this band be chosen?"
"Well, we will have to hold voluntary tryouts and Jude them. I should say they the group will have to a diverse range of combat powers to make it effective," Charmcaster said.
"Well count me out. There's no way I'm going to take orders from you," Gwen said.
"Well count me in I'm going stir crazy from staying here for so long," Alicia said as a lot of the students began to swarm Charmcaster asking to join.
In a small city in the country, we join a certain little elf as she looked over the stories her reporter had brought her.
"Let's see there's a shape-changing monster wandering the countryside committing acts of villainy. Captain Kevin E. Leven has been arrested for holding an illegal slave auction. And the Wondering Warrior and Pirate Captain Liliana set port ablaze. What's with these boring stories," Yuit, sometimes called Weet, said scolding her reporter.
"What was wrong with those stories? All of the events are a big deal that the people will want to read about," the man said.
"It's not the events it's not the events that are the problem. It's the way you wrote about them. It's like you did even bothered to ask any questions to elaborate on the stories. For example didn't you brother to ask if this Captain Kevin did anything else illegal during his time running this town he was at," she asked.
"Well no I thought that he caught on the first time."
"Next on the list is this shape changer. If it can change its shape how can we be sure that it's even a monster? Could it be a magic user or just a magic item on a normal human? And don't get me started on how you didn't even list these acts of villainy that it or he has been doing.
Well, I'm assuming the army is still gathering information on it."
"How could someone so lazy be a reporter?" Yuit shouted at him. "And now about this wondering warrior, you should be digging deeper than what the army tells. Try finding out if he's even a bad guy."
Well everyone says he's bad."
"You're hopeless," Yuit said. "Well just get out there and find some news already," she showed causing the man to run out of the building. "Well now I better do some research," she said as she walked over to the big bookshelf. The book she wanted was on the top shelf far out of her reach because as a little elf she looked like a ten year old human girl, so she called over her automaton Vant. Vant was made by Yuit's mother the greatest alchemists on the continent. She looked like a tall blond elf in a maid costume, in fact if it wasn't for the robotic arms and legs, that hovered inches off the ground, people would say that's she a normal elf. Vant picked Yuit off the ground and after Yuit pressed a button on her remote Vant extended her robot legs until they could reach the book they wanted.
"Um, Yuit are you here. I am here with your lunch order," came a voice.
When Yuit turned to see who it was she saw her friend Mirim. Mirim was a poor girl who needed to earn money for her family so she took up a waitress and food delivery job.
"Put it on the desk, I'll get your pay and a big tip in a second."
When Mirim put the food down she saw a large raw gem like crystal on the shelf. She had never seen anything so beautiful in her life, it seemed to almost glow in a ruby red light. She just had to hold it. When she reached out to grab it Yuit yelled out for her to not touch it. The warning came too late and Mirim already had both of her hands on the gem. Despite the warning she was just fine, sure the gem felt warm but not so hot it hurt. None the less she let go of it at once. "Sorry I shouldn't have touched your things but I was drawn to it," Mirim said.
"You're not hurt?" Yuit said a bit shocked. "This wizard stone is too powerful. It usually burns anyone) who holds it. You must have a very high magic resistance, your very lucky."
Just then the reporter who works for Yuit. "Big news, Iron Strategist Ymir has come to town and she wants to see you and your automaton."
"Well I better see her then," Yuit said getting up on Vant and headed into town with the other two close behind. It almost looked like a mother carrying her child.
Yuit didn't like that Ymir was coming to see her. Ymir was not only a top general in the queen's army known for her brilliant battle plans but she also the chief weapon maker to the queen's army. The only reason she would come to see her was to get her hands on Vant and try to mass produce it for military purposes. Vantage was a gift of love from her mother and she wouldn't let her fall into the hands of a war profiteer.
When she got to the center of town she met with Ymir who was riding in her horseless carriage and had a whole lot of soldiers with her. With this many troops with her she knew that any resistance would turn the whole town into a war zone. "Well, what do I owe the honor of having such a big shot come to see me. I hope it's not because your really board," Yuit said defiantly.
"How dare you talk to Lady Ymir like that," one of the soldiers said.
"Quite," Ymir said. "I have heard reports of your automaton Vant and I must say that it is impressive. I was hoping you would join me to see the queen to show it off," Ymir said.
"Hmm I don't know after all I have my life her to live and a business to run if the queen wants to see Vant then she should come here," Yuit said as she saw all the soldiers grab their weapons she knew it was time to begin her plan. "Oh just kidding. Saying no isn't an option after all and to tell the truth is have always wanted to see the capital," she said to calm the soldiers.
"What an intelligent choice you made. Now these troops will escort you back and I will look around the village a little more," Ymir said.
"You're not coming with?" Yuit asked.
"Hey you never know just what kind of treasure you can find in places like this," Ymir said as she drove off.
'Well this makes things easier' Yuit thought.
A bit latter on the road. "Well, this is a little much for an escort isn't it. You even put Vantage in chains," Yuit said.
"You don't need to worry about things like that," one of the troops said.
"Oh well we're far enough away town to start anyway," Yuit said as she pressed some buttons on Vants controller. When she did Vantage sprung to life and broke out of its chains and attacked the soldiers with powerful blows. It then picked up Yuit then picked up the wagon she was in and throw it away.
The queens soldiers began to regroup. Do you think we're so easily beaten, you just signed your death warrant."
"November I think that a troop of this size would be too embarrassed to admit they were beaten by one little elf and her toy. So you would have to save face by letting me go and as for not going down that easy wait until you see Vant's weaponry, don't worry too much I'll put it on stun," Yuit said as she activated Vant's gun. The gun came out of one of her robotic arms and began to rapidly fire at the troops. The troops were quickly knocked out. "Well, that's that, time to go back to town. I'll just say I got home sick," Yuit said as she rode on Vant back to town.
Meanwhile back in town Mirim was thinking just how lucky and successful Yuit was at having the honor of meeting with the queen. She was even sure that Yuit would be able to get a high position in the queen's court and be set for life. If only she could have something like that happen to her then she could help her family she thought as she waited tables. Just then Ymir drove up to her.
"Well these are some interesting readings," Ymir said as she looked into some device. "I could really use someone like you to help me in my work. Just come with me to Gainos do what I say and I will give you a lot of money.
"I have Important things to do here. Wait I mean well," Mirim said taken back by the offer.
"Don't tell me it's this waitress job. Waitresses are less than a dime a dozen," Ymir said.
"It's not that, my mom is sick and I have to raise money," Mirim said.
"That's hardly a problem, we'll just swing by her place and drop a lot off before we leave for Gainos," Ymir said sweeting the deal.
"You'll really do that for me?" Mirim said speechless.
"Of course you're very valuable to me. Now hope on my time is valuable." When Mirim got on Ymir called out, "Sorry manager I'm poaching one of your employees." As they drove off in the magic cart Mirim thought that things were finally going her way, but she would soon find out differently after all only fools rush in.
We join Yuit as she road on Vant back to town. She stopped when she sensed an attack and avoided be hit by throwing daggers.
"Aww, you dodged. Oh well that means I get to play some more," said Elina up in a tree wearing her black cat armor. Elina was the youngest of the Vance sister and by far the most sadistic. Elina jumped at Vant attacking with her spear. "Ymir thought you might try something like this when you got far enough away from the town so she had me wait here to ambush you, kill you far away from any witnesses and take your stupid doll.
Yuit made Vantage preform a rocket punch attack as a counter, but Elina was nimble enough to dodge mid-air. Elina then slashed Vant down her chest exposing her large breasts. Yuit tried to have Vant counter, but Elina's cat-like movements were too fast for her. Elina finished the fight with her by knocking Yuit off Vant and nearly off the cliff. Because she had dropped the controller off the cliff Vant stopped moving.
"What kind of sicko builds a life sized doll with realistic breasts. Better destroy it before my sister the queen has to view the ugly thing," Elina said.
But before she could attack she herself was attacked by the Ragged Warrior. As the two of them exchange blows Yuit recognized the new comer. "Big brother you're alive and you've come to save me. I thought you died when the queens army burned down Croix castle."
"Quite Yuit," Annelotte said.
"So the Ragged Warrior is the last of the Croix Knights. Well, that makes this two for the price of one," Elina said as she landed a powerful hit on the knight. The blow destroyed her cloak and her breast plate, ironically revealing Annelotte's large and female breasts.
The revelation that Annelotte was a woman surprised everyone. "So this is why you were so hard to find. But I can only imagine can only handle so many surprises in one day so," Elina said ads she used her spears whip like wire to knock Yuit off the cliff.
Annelotte turned her back on Elina to try to save Yuit. Before Elina could attack her Anneliese summoned her demon horse that kicked Elina back. Annelotte then rode her magic horse down the sheer cliff wall to save Yuit.
"I'm not beaten that easily," Elina said as she used her long wire as a lifeline as she jumped off the cliff to attack.
Annelotte had to focus on saving Yuit and couldn't defend herself. Before Elina could attack however a blue blur raced up the cliff and carried Elina to the top and used her own wire to tie her to a tree. The blur known as XLR8 raced down the cliff to save the falling little elf. Just as he caught up to the pair his symbol flashed red and her turned into a normal human. Fortunately for Ben Annelotte was able to save the falling elf at this point was able to pull Ben onto her horse before she hit the ground. "Hold on," she said. In his haste to get a firm hold, he accidentally grabbed Annelotte's breasts.
Annelotte's horse was able to easily make the transition from the cliff wall to the ground savings everyone. "We're safe now so could you let go of my breasts," Annelotte asked. Annelotte also looked at Yuit to check on her and saw that she had passed out.
"Oh sorry the things you do when your falling to your death," Ben said.
Annelotte put Yuit down on some soft grass. "You know I could have sworn that you were some kind of blue speed demon just now," she asked.
"Well, it's a long story. If you give me a ride back to the rest of my party I'll tell you. I also need to tell them that we can't stay at this town tonight," Ben said.
A bit later Yuit woke up and found her controller and decided to follow after her big brother, or should it be big sister, now that she knew that he or she was alive.
