Darcy didn't wanna wake up, she felt so... warm and soft, huddled up. Kinda in an awkward position, but hey, it was warm. Some stirring underneath her forced her to open her eyes.
She got one fast glance at the belly she was sleeping on before the body under her almost threw her off. Sitting more upright Darcy saw Stormy scurrying upright as well. "Ah! My back is bent and my ass is numb from this floor," the storm witch grunted.
Darcy only chuckled, while she eyed her lover. She still couldn't believe Stormy had agreed to sleep with her last night. Honestly, Darcy thought the girl was frigid on that subject. But last night proved that wrong, again and again.
"And you DROOLED on me!" Stormy shouted while wiping her navel. This brought Darcy from her dream state. "I do NOT drool."
"Oh yeah, then what's this?" Stormy asked, wiping her hand on Darcy's cheek.
"Hey!"
The storm witch scrambled up and shuffled towards the shower, walking like a granny. Darcy watched her every move, a smile playing on her lips, waiting for some room to join the shower.
Stormy noticed her looking. "What?"
"Nothing... just enjoying the view," Darcy smirked slyly.
Stormy blushed and turned away, embarrassed "Well... don't... you're making me uncomfortable." She quickly slid into the shower. Darcy followed without an invitation.
After washing in silence for a few minutes the Dark witch spoke. "Turn around."
"Wh- Wha? Why?" Stormy asked with an eyebrow raised.
"So I can wash your back, silly," Darcy chirped.
Suddenly Stormy stammered and stuttered "N-no thanks... My back's fine." She quickly put away her soap. "Just finished," she exclaimed with a fake grin and almost jumped out of the shower, wrapping herself in a towel.
Darcy was left alone to blink in confusion. 'What did I say wrong?' she thought.
Stormy knew she had to break the tension, take Darcy's mind away from wondering. With a trembling voice she started, "S-so, d-do you think Icy's up yet?"
"Dunno," the dark witch answered from the shower. "I don't even know what time it is."
Stormy heard the water stop and a moment later the Enchantress stepped out.
"But whatever our 'best friend' is doing ..." Darcy smirked, giving Stormy a slap on the shoulder, "... she'll be kicking herself in the head right now."
"Yeah," Stormy murmured. In her mind a silly cartoonish image of Icy was lifting her legs so high she kicked herself in the head. Stormy chuckled.
"What?" Darcy asked, placing her hands on her hips. "Don't tell me you actually see that happening?"
Stormy straightened her face. "Of course not."
"You're a weirdo."
They quickly dressed, Darcy not taking her eyes of her Storm witch. She knew Stormy noticed her looking by the way she was fumbling uncomfortably and avoiding looking back. She also noticed how Stormy never turned away from her until she was fully dressed. Hell, she saw the Storm Witch full frontal last night. Why was it such a big deal to wash a simple back?
"Let's go," Stormy said finally, leading the way out of the bathroom...
