Alex got out of the shower and got dressed to head back down stairs where the others were waiting.
“C’mon Alex, were going to go shopping right now.” Said Clover.

At the Beverly hills mall-

The girls were absolutely crazy about all the shopping today. They had been buying all the hottest clothes and everything else they liked that they could think of. Alex had bought three pairs of mini skirts and a couple t shirts with some skimpy top wear. Clover had bought a lot of skirts and even some new shoes. Sam bought the least out of all of them. Her stuff she bought was 2 dresses, one shirt, and one skirt. Mandy had decided to buy the same stuff. Most of which were purple since that was her favorite color. They had spent about two to three and a half hours at the mall doing everything that it had to offer. Playing games at the arcade included Alex and Clover dancing together on the DDR machine that was soon drawing a huge crowd to watch them. They were both on the standard mode which was hard for Clover to keep up since she was only in the league of the light mode.
After the arcade they hit the food court. None of them got very much since no one was really that hungry. They were all done eating and now just talking at their table.

Clover-“ Well girls, I think we’ve had enough mall for one day. Lets go back to Mandy’s house and have more fun. We can even get ready for the rave tonight.

Sam-“What, there’s a rave……..tonight, how did you just find this out Clover?”

Clover-“I saw a sign back by the arcade, it lasts from 9 to 1.”

Alex-“Where’s it gonna be at?”

After hearing this, Sammy was not so comfortable about it.

Soon they all went back to the parking lot to get back in the car and go to Mandy’s house again. As they were approaching the car again, Mandy saw the same blue 2002 mustang next to their car. Which wasn’t there when they went to park. This brought back her memories of when she saw it the first time at the traffic light. It looked just like her brother’s car. Had what she seen back yesterday been real. And could the person driving it really be her brother. There was just no way. He was dead and the army had the proof with them. Yet the evidence that Mandy was seeing indicated that he was here in Beverly Hills, alive and well. She knew now that she could not be seeing things cause she would not have seen the same thing twice. Mandy was now staring at the car wide-eyed and her pupils shrunk.
Sam- uh Mandy, something wrong?.

Mandy-This car here, it looks just like my brother’s. I saw one just like it yesterday and the person in it looked like him too but…how can that be, he should be dead?

Everyone agreed to look for him to see what was up with what Mandy had just told them. So the 4 some headed back inside.

Sam-“ok everyone, I’ll check the electronics, Clover you take the clothes section, and Alex, you look around the hunting and fishing department, and Mandy, you stay by these doors in case he comes out, and if he does just give us a real loud whistle and we’ll come straight back here”.

Mandy-“ok”.

The three girls started to dart off but Mandy stopped em for a sec.

Mandy-“Wait a minute guys, I haven’t told you what he looks like yet.

Alex-“Well, what does he look like”?

Mandy-“He’s got long black hair down to his neck, greenish blue eyes, and no facial hair, he weighs about 194 lbs. and about 6’4’’.

Clover-“Ok, now we know what to look for, lets go.

The girls split up and looked in their assigned sections of the store that Sam had suggested. And Mandy was still by the doors.

Sam at the electronics-

Sam looked around this place several times over but couldn’t find him. The only people here were geeks and nerds buying the latest gadgets and some otakus buying anime films
She asked an employee working in this section for some help.

Sam-“Excuse me Mr. employee, have you seen someone with long black hair and about 6 foot 4 inches tall here”?
The Employee-“oh yea, he left here just bout seven minutes ago, he headed in the direction of the clothes store.

Sam-“ok thanks”.

Sam darted off and headed toward the clothing store where Clover was. And Sam couldn’t find her here either until Clover popped out of the dressing room with a long slender light purpleish dress with a long split on the left side and brown cowgirl top on with those white strip things on the bottom of the front of it. Sam-“No time for shopping, lets head for Alex.”

With that, both Clover and Sam arrived at the section where Alex was and met up with her.

Sam-“Alex, we heard that the guy Mandy’s after headed toward this department. Have you seen him”?

Alex-“No, but I asked that redneck over there and he told me that he saw a man like that head for the enter and exit door where Mandy is. I was just about to head there.

Right after Alex had just told her that, they all heard a really really REALLY loud high-pitched whistle that the entire mall heard and annoyed some people who were sensitive to that and covered their ears.

Clover-“That must be Mandy, c’mon guys.”

All three of the girls headed for the doors.

At the doors where Mandy is-

Mandy stood by the doors waiting and when she had seen the man looking identical to her brother, she let out a really…(etc.) high pitched whistle that the whole mall heard. She stood there as he walked toward her. Could this be him? Was she finally going to be able to talk to him after such a few long years. NO. She smiled as he approached her but he didn’t stop. He went out the exit doors right passed Mandy. This left her real confused. He just walked passed her and didn’t stop to talk to his sister and didn’t even acknowledge her. Instead he just walked right on pass her out of the mall with a grim looking smile. (well that’s not even a smile, just a grim look).

Mandy-“Ok calm down Mandy, maybe he just didn’t see you that’s all, or maybe he just didn’t recognize you, after all, it’s been a while since you’ve seen each other. Ohh, where are the girls at, they should be here by now.” Mandy was talking to herself and thinking in her mind at the same time.

The girls all arrived at the door where Mandy was and they stopped and started breathing hard.

Sam-“Mandy you called, have you seen him?”

Mandy-“C’mon this way, just left out in the parking lot.”

Mandy ran out the door with the spy girls following behind her. As they were just about ten yards away from their car, they saw the blue 2002 mustang pullout and drive away.

Alex-“Crap, and we were so close to getting him.

Clover-“Wait Mandy, if he left out the doors, he would’ve had to pass you. Why didn’t he stop, he should’ve seen you?”

Mandy-“I know, he just walked right pass me and didn’t even acknowledge me or talk to me. Maybe he didn’t see me or recognize me.”

Sam-“He would’ve recognized his own sister, I’m sure of that. How far away was he when he passed you?”

Mandy-“Right next to me, just like an inch away when he walked by.”

Sam-“Well now this doesn’t make any sense. If he was only that far away from you he would’ve been blind not to see you and he sure as heck should’ve known who you are.”

Alex-“Maybe it wasn’t really him, there’s probably a lot of guy with long black hair that drive blue mustangs.”
Mandy-“No, it had to be him, that was the same guy and the same car that I saw on my way home from school yesterday. I stopped next to him and he looked over at me and winked in a special way my brother always did.”

Clover-“Well if you saw him walk pass you, why didn’t you just stop him.”

Mandy-“I was waiting on you three girls to come up and help me, think you took long enough?”

Mandy sounded angry and sad at the same time. She fell to her knees and started sobbing.

Mandy-“I don’t get it, why didn’t he stop to see me, or even say hi.” Mandy was now beginning to cry about it. Alex came and knelt beside her and put her arms around her shoulders.

Alex-“Its alright Mandy, it’s not your fault.”

Sam-“Yea, we’ll see him again somehow and when we do, we’ll catch up to him.”

Clover-“Yea, maybe he’ll be at the rave party tonight, we can look for him there and have fun at the same time.”

With their reassuring sweet words, Mandy got up and brushed the tears away from her eyes. They all soon got back in the car and headed for Mandy’s house.

At Mandy’s house-

The girls decided to put aside what had happened at the mall and were now focusing on the rave tonight. They were all in Mandy’s room picking out clothes to wear except for Clover who already had the clothes on she picked out at the mall and was still wearing them.

Mandy, Alex, and Sam all picked out what they were going to wear. But were still wearing their original clothes. And with that out of the way, they all decided to finish up what they started last night. It was now 7:30 and the girls were playing a lot of limbo. With twenty rounds. Sam won 9 of them. Alex won 7 of them. Clover with 3 and Mandy with only one victory.

They also watched another dvd that they did not get to watch last night. It was an old film called “The guns of Navajone”-(navajone is pronounced Nava-rhone). As they watched it, it was now nearing the party time. Clover stopped the dvd and the other three girls got dressed for the rave and were now ready to go. It was 8:53.

Clover-“All right girls, lets hit that PAHHTAY.”
