Elizabeth: “Hi, I’m Elizabeth Davies. I play Ruby Rose in the web series RWBY, and you’re watching ‘Inside the RWBY Dorm’”

<Flashy introduction graphics: Inside the RWBY Dorm>

Elizabeth: “The idea behind RWBY is a world which is made up of four kingdoms and everything outside of that is just filled with monsters all controlled by one person who wants to rule the world. To fight this threat, they train Hunters and Huntresses to battle the creatures called Grimm. They’re the ones responsible for making sure the Kingdoms don’t get overrun and humanity isn’t completely destroyed. So, you know, no pressure”

<Scene break>

Elizabeth: “I really liked the outfits they came up with for us. They even had me and Weiss, my battle partner in huntressie crime, in these cute combat skirts.

I’m pretty sure those skirts have some kind of light bending ability built into them. Even when we’re fighting Grimm and jumping off cliffs, they stay perfectly in place with nothing to show underneath. I even tried flashing the team on set one time just as a joke, nothing.

They did still have to use make up to hide this little tattoo on my thigh, its usually ok as I’m wearing tights but there are a few scenes when I’ve got bare legs and you can kind of make it out. I’m not telling you where though, good luck finding out yourself <Wink>”

<Scene break>

Elizabeth: “I don’t know how Ruby gets away with eating so many sweets. It’s probably why she’s so hyper all the time”

<Camera switches to Weiss Schnee (Played by Heidi Wolff)>

Heidi: “I originally auditioned to play Weiss just after finishing the filming of the remake of the Sound of Music where I was playing Liesel, the oldest sibling. They told me this was to be in a school set in a fantasy world with animal humans and magic abilities which sounded cool. Then I was told I would need to practice sword fighting and stunts jumping off cliffs and I’m like ‘Didn’t you say this was in a school?’ Do they not have child protective services in Remnant?”

<Scene Break>

Heidi: “There was this one scene where I’m meeting my sister Winter for the first time in ages and I had to punch Lizzie in the back of the head after she said something stupid. I thought it was going to be I make it look like I punched her and then they added it in later, but she was really sweet about it and was all ‘You can punch me for real’. She kind of got her own back though because immediately after that Natalie, who plays Winter, slaps me around the head and she’s just standing giggling"

<Camera switches to Blake Belladonna (Played by Alicia Davenport)>

Alicia: “Hi, I’m Alicia and I play Blake Belladonna. You’ll know her as the cat girl of the group. You’ll know this because the writers insist on making a reference to it about once an episode. Then they felt that the team needed an animal companion with Zwei and I had to learn to do that hissing thing that cats tend to do. I’ve had some weird lines in this series but that was a first”

<Camera switches to Yang Xiao Long (Played by Felicity Clarke)>

Felicity: “There was a bit of drama on set towards the end of filming for Season 2. Right at the beginning there’s this big scene with the food fight where the two teams are just duking it out over breakfast, literally. And towards the end there’s a bit where I get flung through the ceiling. So, they set me all up with the harness and on the cue they blow open the ceiling and yank me through the hole. Sounds simple right? Well as I’m coming up a bit of the ceiling breaks loose and cuts right along the outside of my forearm.

To cut a long story short I spent most of season three concealing the bandages with long sleeves and make up etc. and then someone had idea ‘Hey let’s just cut her arm off’. And that’s how I found out, I came in one morning and they just said ‘Ok, in the next scene we’re goanna cut off your arm’ and my first thought was ‘Was it really that serious?’”

<Camera switches to Weiss Schnee (Played by Heidi Wolff)>

Heidi: “Any clues on what’s coming next? No idea”

<Camera switches to Blake Belladonna (Played by Alicia Davenport)>

Alicia: “I wouldn’t expect them to be pulling any punches. The writers can get pretty ruthless when they put their minds too it”

<Camera switches to Ruby Rose (Played by Elizabeth Davies)>

Elizabeth: “Considering where we’ve come in the past three seasons I’m expecting the death train to just keep on rolling. So yeah, looking forward to that”

<Camera switches to Yang Xiao Long (Played by Felicity Clarke)>

Felicity: “If I were to guess I expect it to be very much in the style of those old government drug ads, something like ‘This is your feels, this is the stick we’re going to beat them with. Any questions?’. Seriously though, I’m sure its goanna be great. Thanks for watching guys”

<Team RWBY gather just outside of the Atlas military base at Argus trying to come up with a plan on how they’re going to reach Atlas>

Weiss: “I’m telling you, no matter what we try it’s not going to be easy. Atlas personnel are trained to the highest physical and mental standards and make use of the most advanced equipment in the Kingdoms. They’re not just going to let us…”

<Weiss looks over to notice Blake is not listening. Blakes attention is instead enraptured watching the line of female Atlas Air Fleet cadets doing push ups just inside the compound>

Weiss, irate: “Blake, can you please focus long enough to help us come up with a plan”

Yang, jokingly: “Relax Weiss, it’s just a bit of harmless Naval-gazing”

<Beat>

Ruby: “Boooo!”

<An aide bursts into Jacques Schnees office>

Aide: “Mr Schnee, sir. I have terrible news”

Jacques, looking up from his paperwork: “What is it?”

Aide: “The Faunus are revolting!”

<Beat>

Jacques, flatly: “Are we seriously doing this one?”

<Blake and Yang listen to their daughter Sasha talking about her first crush>

Yang: “That reminds me of when I first met your mother”

Sasha: “Was it romantic?”

Yang: “Of course. And I’ve loved her since the first time I laid my hands on her”

Sasha, quizzically: “You mean when you laid eyes on her?”

Blake, deadpan: “No, she means hands”

Yang: “I couldn’t keep them to myself”

<Weiss reaches the limit of her patience with Yangs boorish behaviour in the dorm and challenges her to a duel. Weiss and Yang stand opposite eachother in a clearing in the Emerald Forest>

Yang: “Weiss, is this really necessary?”

Weiss: “It is vital that any contest of honour be decided in the proper Atlesian tradition”

<The rules of duelling stipulated the use of Atlesian rapiers as weapons. The contest was to be conducted with the support of the competitors seconds as well as an impartial witness. Ruby is Yangs second, Blake is Weiss’s and Pyrrha is the witness>

Yang, quizzically: “But why do we have to be topless?”

<Beat>

Weiss: “It’s tradition”

<The gang step off the transport in Atlas only to be immediately met by Winter Schnee and her escort>

Winter, unimpressed: “When I heard that there was an unauthorised shuttle arriving it came as little surprise to find you were involved Qrow. But then, what else have I come to expect from a degenerate drunkard such as you”

Qrow: “A degenerate, am I? Well remind me again exactly whose fleet it was that…”

<Ruby and Weiss work desperately to smooth over the verbal skirmish before it could escalate further. Blake and Yang watch from a safe distance>

Blake: “Bet you 20 lien they’ll be under the sheets within a month”

Yang: “Make it 50 and I say within a week”

Blake: “Funny, I never guessed you’d have so much faith in your sister’s abilities. I mean, Weiss never seemed the type to-”

<Blake notices the look of shock in Yangs eyes>

Blake, deadpan: “That was a joke”

<Weiss lounges on her bed in the RWBY dorm listening to her scroll>

Ruby: “Hey Weiss, what are you listening to?”

Weiss: “De Sardet’s Symphony No. 10. It’s rather unique as it was only uncovered by his estate fifteen years after his death”

Ruby: “How does something like that only get discovered after someone’s already died?”

Yang, from her bed across the dorm: “I guess he never stopped composing, or rather decomposing”

<Beat>

Ruby: “Boooo!”

<Weiss invites her girlfriend Blake to visit her parents in Atlas>

Weiss: “Father, this is Blake”

Blake, being diplomatic for Weiss’s sake: “It’s nice to meet you Mr Schnee”

Jacques: “Yes, nice to meet you Miss Blake”

Jacques to Weiss in Atlesian: “I mean really Weiss, a Faunus?”

Weiss in Atlesian: “Um, father-”

Jacques in Atlesian: “If you must insist on continuing this silly fad of yours could you not at least have chosen a nice Atlesian girl?”

Weiss in Atlesian: “Father-”

Jacques in Atlesian: “She’ll probably end up leaving hairs all over the antique furniture”

Weiss in Atlesian, more insistently: “Father!”

Jacques in Atlesian, frustrated: “What is it Weiss? Will you stop interrupting-”

Weiss in Atlesian: “She speaks fluent Atlesian”

<Beat>

Jacques to Blake in Atlesian: “Lovely weather we’re having”

Blake in Atlesian: “A little cold for my tastes”

Jacques: “I stand by my prejudices”

<Blake walks into Weiss’s room in Haven Academy to find her with her ear pressed against the wall>

Blake: “Weiss, what are you doing?”

Weiss: “Shh, I’m sure Rubys plotting against me”

<Ruby is in her room on the other side, ear pressed up against the wall>

Ruby to Yang lounging on the bed next to her: “I knew it, Weiss is plotting against me. I just heard her say the word ‘plotting’”

Weiss to Blake: “See, she just said ‘plotting’. Is it not good enough being Team Leader?”

Ruby, infuriated: “She’s saying I’m not good enough to be leader!”

Ruby and Weiss: “Right, I’ll show her!”

Blake and Yang: “Look, stop being paranoid. You’re both on the same side”

Ruby and Weiss: “Yeah, you’re right. I guess we’re just all tired”

<Nora and Ren are in the common room underneath. Nora is riding on Rens shoulders so she can press her ear against the floorboards>

Nora to Ren: “I knew it, they’re saying we’re all fired!”

<Yang lounging in the RWBY dorm. The door opens and Ruby steps in with a defeated sigh>

Yang: “Hey, I thought you were on your date with Weiss this evening?”

Ruby: “Yeah, it didn’t go so well”

Yang: “Why? What happened?”

Ruby: “It was all going great and then she started getting all flirty with me saying stuff like ‘I love it when it’s cold, because it’s an excuse to cuddle’. Then she asked me to say something to her”

Yang: “So, what’s the problem?”

Ruby: “The problem was I couldn’t think of anything. I panicked, and I blurted out the first thing I could think of”

Yang: “Which was?”

Ruby, dejected: “I thought I saw you laid out in the courtyard yesterday, because you are definitely my snow angel”

<Beat>

Yang, being the reassuring older sister: “Well, I’m sure she appreciated the sentiment”

Ruby, touched: “Thanks, sis-”

Yang: “No matter the terrible choice of words, atrocious sense of timing or inappropriate context in which they are said”

<Ruby stares at Yang>

Ruby, sarcastic: “Thanks sis, glad we can have these talks”
