Once again as night was falling on Ever After, Raven and Apple were getting ready for bed but Raven could feel that something was weighing on the princess’s head.
“Apple, what’s wrong, you’ve seemed down ever since you came back from the library,” said Raven.
“I went to the library and looked up those records you were talking about and was surprised that you were not only telling the truth but that there were so many cases,” said Apple.
“Guess that would be surprising; by the way, I’m sorry if I was harsh talking to you last night,” said Raven.
“No, I deserved to be talked to like that, I was being a royal bitch,” said Apple.
“Whoa,” said Raven as she stared at the blonde with a shocked expression.
“What?” asked Apple who was confused by why Raven was staring at her the way she was.
“You just swore, I can’t believe Apple White just swore,” said Raven.
“About that, I might not actually be a member of the White family after all,” said Apple while looking down at the floor.
“What do you mean?” asked Raven.
“A past Snow White was gay and married another woman, I checked along with Briar and found no birth or adoption papers for any children to the two of them,” said Apple as she began to cry.
“So how did the family continue after them?” she asked.
“Apple,” said Raven as she quickly stood up and went over to the blonde in order to hug her.
“I’m so sorry, I had no clue you would find out about something like this,” she said.
“It… it’s not your fault,” said Apple as she hugged the witch back, barring her face into Raven’s neck and getting a big whiff of her shampoo.
“Wow, how did I never notice how good Raven smells?” thought Apple while pulling the witch more into the hug.
“Um, Apple, are you listening?” asked Raven.
“S… sorry, you hugging me is so rare that I kind of zoned out, what were you saying?” asked Apple as she pulled out of the hug with a flushed expression.
“I said that the best way for you to figure out more about your family is to ask your mother,” said Raven.
“Yeah I guess that makes a lot of sense,” said Apple as she turned to look at her mirror phone which was sitting on her night stand.
“In fact I’m going to talk to her tomorrow,” said Apple as she walked over and picked up her phone to call her mother to send a limo in the morning.
