Ivory Rose – Red and White
The sunlight that managed to sprinkle through the overhead leaves felt warm against Blake's bare skin. She sighed with deep content, which stirred the naked blonde laying next to her. Yang rolled onto her stomach and crossed her arms to rest her chin, her purple gaze falling onto Blake thoughtfully. “What is it?” the dark haired girl asked, one of her pointed ears twitching as she spoke.
“Well, I kinda need your help with something... and you still owe me for taking the heat from our RA the other night when you dropped my name,” Yang said.
Blake sat up at this. “Excuse me? It was your fault for stealing my underwear! Which you still haven't returned, by the way...”
A laugh followed these words. “We've been over this: I'm keeping them~! But anyway, will you hear me out?” She waited for Blake to nod before she went on, “Do you have any idea if Weiss is interested in anyone?”
“What? I thought you wanted my help with something... What kind of question is that?” Blake asked with a puzzled expression.
Yang waved a hand as she sat up to become eye level with Blake. “Answering the question could help me... Do you know anything?” Blake shook her head no in reply, and Yang let out a small sigh. “Figures it wouldn't be that easy... Then I'll have to ask you to help me with my plan to find out who, if anyone, Weiss is diggin' on,” the blonde said while rubbing her chin in thought.
The Faunus couldn't help but chuckle in confusion. “What is going on, Yang? Why do you care?” Blake asked.
“Well, it's part of another plan...” Yang trailed off in a way that suggested she was saying too much, which was all Blake needed to understand that it was related to Ruby. She mused on it for a moment, and an idea clicked in her mind.
“A distraction tactic, perhaps?” Blake stated more than questioned. Yang simply nodded, and the dark haired girl said, “Alright, I'll help you. What's your plan to find out?”
At this, Yang grinned and suddenly was on Blake's lap. “First, I need to leave some obvious signs on you...” the blonde said before her mouth was upon a sensitive neck. Blake didn't have time to object, nor did she really want to, as Yang bit and sucked on her skin to leave a few hickies. When she finally pulled away, she caught her breath and said, “There. The point is to let Weiss see those so you can steer the conversation into something uncomfortable and hopefully get the information from her. Do you think you can?”
“With Weiss, it'll be tough,” Blake replied. “But even if it doesn't work, it'll still let her know that you're with me.”
“Yeah, there's that too,” Yang said as she leaned in to catch Blake's lips for a kiss.
When they parted, Blake asked in a small whisper, “Have you told Ruby yet?”
Her question drew a well-winded sigh from Yang. “I'm afraid of how she'll react when she finds out that you know about us,” the blonde responded.
“It's not good for one person to have so many secrets, Yang. You have to tell her.”
“I know! I know... I will. Just... not yet.”
The Faunus sighed heavily and pulled away from Yang's embrace. “The longer you wait, the worse it'll be. You know that,” Blake said flatly.
The blonde didn't reply; instead, she started to pull on her shorts. Blake watched her for a moment before she followed suit. After a few tense moments of silence, Yang finally said, “I'll tell her when we find out about Weiss. For now, let's focus on that.”
Lightly Blake placed a hand on Yang's bare shoulder just before the blonde shrugged into her jacket, and purple eyes met her golden gaze. She smiled briefly and enticed Yang into a very intense kiss, which allowed Blake a chance to grasp one of the human girl's large boobs. Beyond the windows of the library, the sun was just starting to dip low enough to paint the skies with pink hues. Are you doing homework, too?” The dark haired girl waved her battle tactics book with a small nod, and Weiss said, “Want to sit together, then?” Blake nodded again, and after she helped the shorter girl find the textbooks she needed, the two went to a secluded corner with a smaller table.
Weiss went promptly to work on her essay while Blake pulled off her high collar jacket and again tried to read her assigned chapters. She deliberately sat across from the blue eyed girl so that the love marks from Yang were now clearly visible, but at the moment the Faunus was skeptical that Weiss would even bother to take notice. Instead she turned her full attention to reading, and eventually became absorbed in her studies, so when Weiss glanced up and saw the obvious blemishes on Blake's fair skin, she honestly surprised Blake with her outburst, “My God, Blake! “I guess I have to give you that one...” Blake muttered while deliberately looking away. She lowered her hand so Weiss could again see the blatant marks before she leaned in close and whispered quietly, “It's Yang.”
A loud gasp followed this remark, and Weiss sat straight up in her chair. “Are you kidding me? Yang?” Blake merely shrugged, and the white haired girl stroked her chin. “... Actually, I can see that, now that I think about it. Do you think it runs in the family...?” Weiss seemed startled by her last comment, and when Blake met her gaze, the Faunus knew she had Weiss in a corner.
“Does what run in the family? You mean sleeping with girls? Hmmm...” Blake mused, this time leaning against the table as Weiss seemed to draw further away. “Can I just go out on a limb here and say what we both already know? You like Ruby.”
Weiss stood up with a violent huff. “I do not!” she loudly denied with a bright red face. She grabbed for one of her textbooks, but Blake slammed her hand down on the cover. She waited until Weiss met her eyes, and she arched an eyebrow with an expression that said Weiss wasn't fooling anyone. The long haired girl sat back down with a sigh, slouching in the chair against her normal demeanor.
Blake rested her chin in the palm of her hand while still watching the silent Weiss. After a moment, the dark haired girl spoke, “So, you like Ruby. Does she know?”
This spurred Weiss into talking instantly, “Of course she doesn't know, are you insane?! It's Ruby! She can never know!”
“Why? That sounds pretty ridiculous to me. I think Ruby is an awesome girl,” Blake said while sitting back with crossed arms.
Weiss bit her lower lip and mumbled, “I... kind of agree with you.”
“Then talk to her! Damn, Weiss, I thought you were smart...” Blake said with a bit of disdain. She was hoping this would spark Weiss, and just as she hoped, it was the correct final button to push.
“Don't patronize me, Blake! I get it!” the girl said while sitting up straight again. “Tch! As if talking to that girl is difficult...” she muttered, her cheeks still holding a faint blush.
“So are you going to talk to her?” Blake asked with the faintest hint of a smile.
“Yes, I'm going to talk to her!” Weiss spat, getting to her feet again. This time when she reached for her books, Blake allowed her to pick them up.
Blake waved to her as Weiss stomped away. “Be sure to tell me how it goes, please!” the dark haired girl called. She got a rude gesture in reply, and she chuckled to herself.

Yang was cutting jokes with Ruby from their two higher beds, Blake was putting on her shoes, and Weiss sat at the room's study desk with papers sprawled before her. She wasn't really paying attention when someone asked if she wanted anything from the store, and when the suggestion for tea was made, she nodded in confirmation. Yang slid down to the floor to join Blake as the dark haired girl left for the store, leaving Ruby and Weiss alone in the room.

“You seemed pretty distracted with it, but okay,” the short haired girl said before turning her back to Weiss so she could write something down. Behind her, the girl with white hair quietly approached their beds, her ice blue eyes fixated on Ruby.
She was silent for a while as she tried to find the words she wanted to say, and once she did, she cleared her throat. Silver eyes glanced at her with curiosity, and Weiss said, “So... I wanted to ask you something, Ruby. Are you, by any chance, interested in... uh, girls?”
Ruby shifted around so she was completely facing Weiss, a look of surprise on her face. “Are... are you actually asking what I think you're asking?”
“Shut up and just answer the question!” Weiss retorted loudly.
The redhead hid her smile behind her hand, but managed to say, “And what if the answer's yes?”
By now, Weiss's cheeks were very red. She rolled her eyes and huffed, “Are you, or are you not, Ruby?”
