Author's Note:
Although I'm kinda displeased at how this chapter turned out, I hope the few readers I have will continue to read even after this one. I promise that the next chapter is much more exciting and not as dull.
As another note; I appreciate the one reviewer I have. Reading your opinions on what I've written so far is helping drive me to write more. I'm sure you know that reviews do help writers. But I wanted you to know that I really do like that there's even a small amount of feedback. If I knew of a PM system on the site; I'd just do that. >.< But I haven't seen one yet, so you get an AN thank you :P

Zuko was blissfully unaware of the intruision until Sokka cleared his throat. He broke the kiss slowly and looked to the group. Sokka stood there with his arms crossed in front of his chest, looking very angry. "You know, if you wanted to court her, you shoulda done it sooner. And certainly not like this!" His hand gestured to the ripped clothing everywhere and then to his naked sister in his arms. Zuko looked around, realising just what it looked like to them. He let out a groan and a sigh. "You can let her go any time." His jaw was set and he was tapping his foot impatiently. Zuko turned Katara around and picked her up once more and place her on the bed. Grabbing the blankets, he covered her up and then sat on them as she tried to stand again.
"What is it that you want?" His gaze was hard again, like it always was. The softness in his expression had disappeared at the suddenness of company. His excitement died down. "I take Buumi or Toph failed to mention that all the servants were permitted the day off. That's why I was batheing her. I went to replace the water when she'd woken up and tried to get out of the bed. I was stopping her from exiting the room or hurting herself when she kissed me."
Sokka stepped foreword when Toph stopped him. "He's telling the truth, Sokka." Her face expressionless as usual smiled suddenly. "Katara's having a hard time right now. She doesn't know who we are. And apparently can't comprehend what she's doing either." Everyone had turned to the blind girl. "You saw what happened at the lake with Aang, Sokka. She'd be in worse condition if Zuko hadn't told us what Aang wanted to do!" Sokka's defenses fell and he admited defeat.
Zuko let out a yelp that startled everyone to look in his direction. "Katara! What are you doing?!" Her arms were wrapped around his waist, hands groping at his crotch. "She's sicker than we'd thought! Some one get her off me!" He struggled with her hands. Though in a daze, she was still strong. "You see now, Sokka?" He finally caught her arms and held them away from his body as he looked to her brother. He shivered visably when she leaned foreword to run her tongue over his bicep. "Well are you guys going to just stand there, or are you going to help me out?" He demanded. Admitedly, he liked the attention from the mocha skinned blue-eyed beauty. But in front of her brother was just too much for him. A fevered giggle escaped her lips.
Suki stepped foreword first to help her lay down more. Zuko stepped away quickly as the woman replaced him. They looked at Katara curiously as she immediately ceased all actions when Zuko had removed himself from her vicinity. Sokka cleared his throat again and Zuko turned to him. "Excuse you." He pointed down to Zuko's waist.
"You can't tell me this hasn't happened to you when in the presence of an attractive lady!" Zuko defended himself.
"So you find her appealing?" Sokka questioned as Suki began to finish Katara's sponge bath.
Zuko scoffed, "who wouldn't?" Sokka's eyebrow raised towards the fire bender. "Not that I find her attractive enough to do stuff with her!" He quickly added in.
"Ah-ha.. so she's not good enough for you?" Toph giggled as Sokka trapped Zuko with his own words.
Zuko stuttered. "I.. that's.. she... Damnit! Sokka! That's not being fair about this situation!" He gestured to Katara now sleeping again. "You saw what happened and Toph even confirmed it for you. Don't be turning me into the badguy with this."
Sokka sighed and nodded as Toph began to giggle more. Suki stood, done with the bath now. "She needs sleep. Let's leave her be for now." Zuko looked at Katara, his good eye showing concern for her.
The group slipped down the hallway. "So what did you mean by what you said in there, Sokka? It sounded like there was more to what you were saying when you first barged in." Zuko's voice was quiet, staying with the small group as they walked outside.
"A man from the northern water tribes came to the party. He saw her and asked around. He's offering salvation for the southern tribes for her hand. The north tribes have enough supplies for the south to survive on for at least a decade. He also offered to send some water benders to our village and give us better protection from the elements. A few other things too.." His voice trailed off. Hand balling into a fist, he forced out his next sentance. "Father agreed to do it." Closing his eyes tightly, Sokka was obviously hurt about his fathers' decision. Zuko gasped. "He said it was for the best and that Katara would understand."
He knew people would sell their daughters as concubines to nobles in the fire nation, but didn't know of the practice to be in the other parts of the world. His mind wandered a bit as Suki and Sokka talked about how they would break the news to Katara that she'd been bartered off. Zuko then thought about making a counter offer for her.. Shaking his head wildly he smacked his tmeples. "No! I can't!" He screamed at himself. The others looked at him questioningly. "I.. uh.. I mean I can't let that happen. To her, that is. She deserves better than to be sold away to some one she doesn't know. I'll.. I'll talk to her. Then I'll have a word with your father." He turned on his heal and walked off. Toph smiled mischievously again.
Zuko returned to his room where Katara lay still asleep in the bed. He began picking up the clothing shreds around the floor and cleaned up the water basin and towels. Turning his attention to her, he sat on the bed's edge again. Moving a hair from her face, he studied her silently. His usual hardened expression was soft, caring. As a husband to his wife. "What did this to you?" Zuko wondered aloud. Then he recalled his uncle giving her tea. He didn't know what disturbed him more. The fact that Iroh had given Katara an aphrodesiac and premeditating this feverish delusion that Zuko would try to take care of the young lady.. or the fact that Iroh even had an aphrodesiac in his possession! He shivered visably. Not really wanting to think about the latter, he preoccupied himself with getting ready for bed. Changing his trousers, then looking forelornly at Katara before the flames in the lanterns on the walls were doused with the wave of his hand.
The night was warm. Too warm, in fact. He shed off his night pants and clambered into the bed opposite of Katara. He always woke early so he'd have time to dress himself and be out of the room before she rose. Inhaling deeply, holding the breath, and exhaling slowly, Zuko could only try to get some sleep. Katara stirred and mumbled next to him. "Zu..ko.." His eyebrow quirked up. 'Did she just...?' He reclined his arms behind his head, shaking it. She was too out of it right now. She probably wouldn't remember any of this in the morning. A quick jolt on her side of the bed and her body was halfway onto him. Her leg thrown on top of his, resting in between his thighs. Head on his shoulder she'd just healed and arm drapped across his chest. He stared blankly at her in the dark. Though asleep, this wasn't helping his case much. Especially if Sokka decided to come back into the room.
'She'll change positions soon enough.' Zuko's mind reassured him. 'I'll get up before her and everything will be fine. Nothing to worry about.' He soon became a victim of exhaustion and fell asleep, Katara half straddling him in the night.
------
"Hakoda, this isn't about your village. It's about Katara's wellfare. Please rethink your actions." Zuko had tried to plead with the elderly man but to no avail. Although Hakoda knew his daughter would protest to the marriage, he stood his ground on his decision. Zuko shook his head at the man and walked away. He had a ship to prepare for departure. Grey pants and a red tunic with a black sash right down to his black shoes, Zuko wasted no time in picking up boxes to help his men load the ship with supplies.
Katara gingerly stepped out into the open wearing the green shades of the Earth Kingdoms on a dress that hugged her hips and bust. The top opening up to half way past her collar bone, dress stopping at her knees, and a slit up the sides to mid-thigh. She tried pulling the top closed a bit more but failed. "Dad..?" She ventured up behind him. Hakoda turned around to find her dressed as an earth kingdom noble woman. Her hair done up in a high bun held with glittering hair pins, bangs curled and let down her face in a few spots. The green dress really suited her dark skin but she looked uncomfortable. "Dad what happened to my clothes? I found them in the garbage all torn up. I don't remember that happening to them. Also what did Zuko mean just now? Did something happen?" Her blue eyes looked up to him in curiosity and concern. Hakoda sighed and she looked confused.
He turned to her and placed his large hand on her shoulder. "We should depart for home. There is much to prepare for." Katara shook her head and looked over to Zuko's ship as a chain of men were hauling supplies on board. "I know you said you wanted to go to the Fire Nation, but you cannot. A gentleman of the Northern Water Tribes has asked for your hand and-"
Katara's loud voice pierced the air and Zuko smiled to himself. "What?!" He'd planned on telling her. But it was much more amusing for her to take her frustration of the situation out on her father. Besides, if Hakoda told her then she would definately come with him. "Let me guess, you said he could? I probably don't even know the guy!" Her fierce gaze to her father sent guilt through his bones. "I can't believe you would do something like this!" She huffed off towards the dock before he could get a word in edge wise. Zuko turned to his uncle and asked him to prepare an extra cabin for the lady.
"We leave in a few hours. Please be ready, Katara." Iroh bowed to the angry water bender and spoke in a soft voice. His hands folded into the sleeves of his usual brown ukata. She stormed off past him and onto the boat. "Katara!" Her fathers' voice was muffled out due to the shouts of the men loading the ships and the waves breaking against the docks. Hakoda stopped chasing after her when she didn't respond. He looked like a heart broken school boy staring off after his daughter as she walked away from him. Iroh looked at him and empathized. It was hard to lose your children. Especially if they were still alive. Iroh bowed to him and left to the ship himself.
Standing on the bow of the ship by the rails, Katara began to bend the water below her to let off steam. Her only reprieve was when Zuko called out to the helmsman to push away from the dock. Faintly she heard her name being called out and she looked around. Sokka was standing on the edge of the docks with Suki, Toph and their father. She'd forgotten to say a farewell to them! Katara started to wave her hand with a smile but stopped when her eyes fell on the hurt face of her father. Growing angry again, she lifted her arms and began bending the water to push them faster out to sea. Hakoda turned his face, defeated, and walked away.
Footsteps behind her echoed in her ears as she continued to bend the water. Zuko's hands closed around her wrists and he held her against his body. The ship slowed and his voice spoke softly in her ears. "I know you feel wronged. But you're scaring my men. Please try to calm down." His head tilted to look down at her. He could tell she was crying from the way her shoulders shook and the soft sobs that reached his ears above the sounds of the waves. He figured changing the subject might calm her down. "You look beautiful." She turned to look up at him, tears slowly making their way down her cheeks. Seeking comfort against his chest to cry more, Zuko's expression softened. "I'll show you to your cabin. It's a big ship. Try not to get too lost." He spoke when she calmed down a little bit. "The day is still young but there is much to do. If you need me, I'll be in the engine room." Katara nodded as she followed him below deck.
Katara sat on her bed, knees pulled up to her chest as she stared at the wall. The faint aroma of tea lingered in her nose. Iroh had brought her a small pot of jasmine tea to help calm her. Though she'd taken the tea, she declined his company for a while. Sighing, she sipped the warm fluid. Familiarity of the taste teased her tongue as it washed past and down her throat. Iroh had always said that tea heals the body. Smiling, Katara finished her cup and stood. The ship was far enough away from even the Earth Kingdoms that it was now just a black and white moving spek in the distance as she looked out the small window of her room.
"Wait.. moving?" Katara blinked and looked harder at the object. Throwing open the door to her cabin, she pushed past several men in a hurry. Their protesting calls to her rudeness brought Zuko to the door of his own cabin to be pushed back in and caught before landing on the floor by his uncle. Even in the late afternoon light, Katara could see Appa clearly. Against all the black and grey metal, she was sure she herself was a sore thumb sticking out to Aang.
Zuko rushed up on deck. "Katara! What's going on?" His hand landed on her arm, trying to turn her to face him. Though she was a friend of his, he would not tollerate rudeness on his ship. Her arm jerked away from his grip as she drew up some water from the sea around them to have it float around her in a large semi-circle. Zuko looked up to where her gaze lay and solemnly looked on as Appa aproached the ship, preparing to land on the large deck. It certainly was large enough that he could land and still have room to walk around. A billow of wind rushed through Zuko's hair as the massive animal touched down on the metal. Soldiers ran up from below deck and stood at a ready stance, prepared to fight. The ship rocked and a few startled yelps from below rang up the hallways. Appa growled lightly as he looked at the row of firebenders.
Quickly dismissing them as they made the large beast uneasy, Zuko stepped foreword in front of Katara and her defense of water hovering in the air. "What is it that you want?" Zuko called out to Aang. "Katara doesn't want to talk with you and your presence is not currently welcome on this ship." Aang looked over to the Fire Lord with sad eyes.
"I want to talk." Aang dismounted from Appa and stood there. Aware of Katara's current feelings for him, he wanted to tead carefully. Katara didn't move as Zuko looked back to her. He turned back to the Avatar as he began to speak. "Katara, I'm sorry. I was going to ask you first. But at the time, my mind wasn't letting clear judgements into my sight. But please don't let Zuko capture you again."
Zuko stiffened. "She came on her own. I only offered her a safe haven in the Fire Nation. Katara consented to coming." Katara relaxed a little as Zuko came to her aid. Seeing the semi-circle of water droop a little, Zuko rose his chin to the Avatar. "Leave." The command was simple. But Aang stood his ground.
"Katara, can I please talk to you? Alone?" Aang looked to her pleadingly. She frowned. "I promise I won't touch you." He reassured her. Staring at him hard, her lips twitched. Katara had to give him the benefit of the doubt. Sending the water back to the sea, she walked foreword slowly. Her hand rested on Zuko's shoulder a moment as she looked up to him. He nodded and stayed where he was as she advanced. Appa moved to the front of the boat more so they could take a small distance from the ears of the Fire Lord to talk to one another.
Zuko watched as the two of them took the distance from him. They stopped and Aang faced her. Her hand was brought up suddenly and she slapped his face. He didn't move for a moment and silently Zuko was amused at this. Aang turned back to the water bender and began to plead to her. She was on guard when they'd began talking, but as he spoke, her expression grew soft and then she gasped. Zuko crossed his arms over his chest. Katara looked down a moment, shook her head and began to walk back to Zuko. Aang looked like he'd been beaten with a stick and turned to mount up on Appa again. "I need time to think about it, Aang." Zuko heard Katara tell him before they took off. The boat rocked again as Appa lifted off to fly away. "I'm tired." She stated simply to Zuko as she walked past him.

It would take another few days to get to Sozun from the earthen kingdoms. The mood of the ship crew and passengers was light and hearty for the most part. Katara didn't want to talk about what had transpired and no one wanted to bring it up with her. Iroh tried to keep her company but it was like she wasn't herself. Katara couldn't hold conversation and acted like she didn't want to for the most part. This made Zuko regret offering her a sanctuary for a few days. They were both frustrated, and clearly neither of them wanted to talk. Iroh devised a small plan before the ship landed in Sozun the following evening. Zuko approached Katara as she stood on the railings playing with the water. "Spar with me." It was more like a demand than a request and Katara looked up to him, scowling. He took a stance.
Stepping off the railing, she drew up some water from the sea and coated her arms in water tenticles. She waited for Zuko to make the first move. For a moment, they stood there as though sizing each other up. Seeing how much of a fight the other would give them. When Zuko made no move, Katara stepped in and started to slash out at him with the water. He blocked her attacks by throwing fire from his fists. Just as they were getting into a comfortable rythym, Katara shouted over the waves to him, "so what was with that kiss back in Ba Sing Se?" Zuko stumbled, not expecting her inquiry. He faultered and she swipped the water under his foot, his rear hitting the metal firmly. Rolling out of the way as she brought around another whip. Zuko's feet throwing out a flaming barrage in a circle around him as he twisted up to his shoulders, rolled off them and then used his hands to spring him a few feet away from her.
"You were the one who pounced on me! Does this mean that you did that stuff to me in front of your brother on purpose?" He countered. She smiled and he was taken aback once more. Katara advanced on him. "Hold on now. Are you being serious?!" Dodging her relentless attacks in a circle around her, Zuko held firmly to only defense.
Katara's oversized grey pants and shirt ruffled in the strong winds. A determined smile on her face, she closed in on the fire bender as she drew more water up from the ocean. Throwing her arms foreword, it launched out underneath Zuko and froze. Flames quickly made a puddle under him. Quickly flicking her wrist, the puddle traveled up his legs to his shins and froze. They resorted to hand to hand combat with Zuko stuck to the metal of the ship. "Maybe." She stated simply as her face stopped before his as their hands wrestled together. "I seem to recall that you enjoyed the attention very much." His face flustered, jaw slack. Katara leaned into him and ran her tongue along his jaw line on the right side of his face. He shivered as she backed away with a jump, bringing the frozen waters back to life to float idlely by her sides.
"Fire Lord Zuko!" A guard stood attention behind Katara to address his lord. When Zuko and Katara both looked to him, he continued. "Sir we will be approaching the docks of Sozun in less than an hour. Might I suggest that you ready yourself?" He blinked and turned around to see the large city built upon the volcano island. Katara sent the water back to the ocean and straightened. They both retired to their cabins to make themselves ready for their landing. Katara smirked to him before she entered her cabin. He did not miss this.
---
Bending water around herself, Katara's mind was lost in thought about that night in Ba Sing Se. She didn't exactly know what overcame her, but she did enjoy the thought about being with a man that way. Zuko was handsome and a powerful man and bender. Lowering her head, her mind trailed to Mai. Were they still together? But what also would happen if she were to be with Zuko, the new Fire Lord? Would it even be possible? Finishing her bath quickly, she bent the water off her body and walked into the cabin to once again dress in the skimpy dress given to her by Buumi. It felt a size too small for her wide hips and growing bust, but it was the nicest garb she had on the ship as she had left all her belongings back at the celebration. She had been too angry to think about taking them along with her when she left on the ship. Sighing, Katara came to the conclusion that she'd have to purchase some fire nation garb.
Slipping the dress over her head, she pulled at it firmly to fit over her body in the correct places. She had kept it clean for the trip since it was at least a five day boat ride back to Sozun. The green fabric shown as she looked down to it. It was soft and light. Durable in all the correct places and stretched in the others such as her hips, thighs and bust area. Katara blinked as she looked down her body. Thinking she was seeing things, she strode over to the mirror in the next room. Turning side to side examining herself, Katara was pleasantly surprised to see that she'd grown a little in the last few days. Taking up the hair pins from the counter, she began to twist her hair around until it felt tight enough and secured it with the two needle like objects in an "X" shape behind her head. Nodding to herself, she exited her cabin and returned to the deck, waiting to dock.
---
Zuko stepped out of his own shower to dry himself by heating his body up. Steam rose from his shoulders and he shook his head, water splattering in all directions. Wringing it out as best he could, Zuko dressed his legs into the cotton red pants that had been set aside by his servants. His feet fell silently on the floor as he tred outside the wash room and examined what had been chosen for him. Two servants bowed as he nodded. They began to dress him and tie his hair up. The crimson robes chosen were embroidered with yellow into the shape of a dragon. Beads of a variety of colors were sewn onto the fabric giving it a majestic looking sheen as the serpent wove up the robe, around to his back, across his shoulder blades and back down to the front. The dragon's head finished as it wound toward the back again.
With his hair tied back tightly and the golden flame placed on top of his head, he held his head high as he proceded to the deck. Guards bowed to him as he passed and they fell into step behind him. Out on deck, he was flanked by two guards. Katara greeted him in the green earth kingdom dress with a bow and a friendly smile. He nodded to her and strode to the front of the boat. Already he could see a concession forming on the ocean side docks where several houses for the lower ranking people of the fire nation resided. His gondola stood in front of the docks just down the pier. A plethora of guards held the people back. "I am not ready to do this again." He whispered down to Katara with a definate forelorn sigh as Iroh soon joined them. Raising his hand, he greeted his people in a simple wave.
Coming to a slowing hault, the guards lowered the ramp down and ran out to aide in keeping the people back. Zuko's stern face softened as Mai stepped out of the waiting gondola. Katara stiffened when she saw the other woman. Since they were still together, she hoped that the older woman wouldn't do anything brash seeing her standing next to Zuko. Mai showed no expression towards Katara as they drew closer to her. Zuko turned to Katara and spoke softly. "I have much paper work to get back to." He nodded to Mai. "Would you take the time to show her around? Possibly shop for clothing with her?" Mai nodded silently. "I appologize for leaving you like this, but it's what I must do."
Katara smiled up to him. "You do what you must. You do run a country and you're still trying to get the war completely ended. Even after all these years." Zuko and Mai exchanged a brief hug and kisses on the cheeks. He climbed into the gondola. The four people standing around it promptly picked it up and began the journey back to the palace on the mountain. "I feel sorry for the people carrying that. It must be heavy." Katara mused aloud.
"Not as heavy as you think." Mai returned. It seemed that she had finally picked up some emotion. "You really need some new clothing. What in the world are you wearing?!" Katara blinked as she looked at the bland red and white dress Mai wore. Was she seriously asking that to another person? Or was she trying to be humorous? Katara rather liked the green dress. Even if it did feel too small. She thought that King Buumi had done this on purpose. "Let's get this over with then." Her usual drab and bored voice came back. A few guards trailed behind them as the crowd that had appeared to greet Zuko back slowly faded away.
The sounds of people unloading the ships filled Katara's ears. Looking over head to the dormant volcano, she marveled at the sight. "It's nothing like this back at home." Katara murmured aloud. "All we have is snow and ice."
Mai giggled out, "no wonder you left." Katara blinked. Where had she heard that line before? "We'll walk around for a little bit. But the evenings come fast here and we should really get you some new garb. What you have on looks atrocious and you stick out like a panda lily on a rock."
-------------
For the most part of the two being together, Mai switched between having no emotion to being just as friendly and civil as Toph. They had visited several stores to get Katara sized up and tailored a few clothing pieces. Mai would send servants from the palace to pick up the products later on. Katara washed Mai's back as they continued to giggle like little girls about some things they had seen in the lower rings just a few hours ago. Settling into the hot waters of the spring, they chatted idlely to eachother. Katara couldn't believe that Mai had been opening up to her as she had in the past few hours. It was as though Mai never had anyone to really talk to or about personal problems she'd had either now or in the past. She told her things that she hadn't even told Zuko but held Katara to secrecy.
"So have you ever been with a man?" Mai quietly ventured. Katara's face flushed a bright red and Mai laughed. "Haven't kicked it off yet with the Avatar, huh?" She sighed. "Neither have I. It's like Zuko doesn't want to commit to something like that just yet. That or he's afraid of being inturrupted again." Mai's face showed a slight embarassment. "We were going to at one point. A while back, just before the comet. A servant came in telling him he was needed at the war meeting or it wouldn't start. At the request of his father, none the less."
Katara leaned foreword. "Well he does have a lot on his plate." Mai nodded. "He's probably too stressed right now to even get it up!" Their laughter filled the chamber.
"Oh I wouldn't say that." The two girls stiffened and the water rippled as Zuko stepped into the spring. They both turned around to see him and the fierce correction of Katara's statement protruding from his body. His left hand on his hip and the other holding a towel his shoulder, he was amused at how they both couldn't stop looking at him even. Their eyes slightly widened and jaws ajar, he smirked as he sunk into the water, his back to a rock. He watched as they both followed his body down. The two girls sat firmly in the water as he raised his eyebrow to them. "Am I not allowed to relax in my own springs? Fine. I'll leave you two then." Zuko began to stand but stopped as both girls protested at the same time. Sitting back down, he chuckled. "You do know it is rude to stare, do you not?" He closed his eyes and reclined back as he said this, a smile touching his lips.
The girls turned to eachother. Katara had to press her lips together to keep herself from laughing too loudly as Mai tried to hide her amusement at Zuko behind her hand. Zuko inhaled deeply and released it slowly, steam billowing from around him. Opening one eye, he noticed how Mai was whispering something in Katara's ear, her hand covering her lips. Katara blushed harder than before and turned to Mai. Closing his eye again, he relaxed more, placing his arms behind his head to rest against the rocks more comfortably.
Water rippled around his body and woke him from a daze. Both girls were slowly crawling up his body to meet below his chin, their foreheads touching as they pressed their bodies against his. Their legs intwining around his, he looked to them curiously. It was his turn to be surprised and he jumped, sending a splash out when his arms hit the water when the girls' lips connected, their eyes closed. His better eye showed complete shock as they continued to kiss above his chest. He felt Katara's hand slink along his body towards Mai's and he could see the ripples made as her hand squoze Mai's left breast. Their kiss deepened and Zuko's jaw dropped. This was definitely not expected!
He shuddered as ice formed around his hands and arms in the water. Katara looked at him sideways with a seductive smile while she continued to kiss Mai. Katara then froze water around his lower ankles and feet, sealing him to the rocks below his body. He gasped when Mai's hand began to play with his pubic hair, gently pulling and combing through it. Intentionally dodging his throbbing erection. Their lips parted and Zuko watched helplessly as their tongues danced around eachother. He licked his lips and let out a soft groan as Mai's hand touched the base of his penis. Katara's hand trailed along Mai's arm and joined her hand under the water, almost reluctantly touching him. Zuko thrust his hips up, shivering when both their hands began to play with him. Mai's hand gently gliding along his shaft and Katara's slowly massaged the head with a little water bending and her finger tips. Their touches weren't enough to provoke his orgasm and Zuko silently cursed to himself.
Mai's grip tightened a little as she stroked him. Katara's hand joined hers and they interlocked fingers, extracting a low groan from Zuko. Their chests touched a moment in the water. Ripples bounced off the rocks around them as they moved closer to eachother. The stroking slowed and Mai's hand left him to grab Katara's breast, pinching her nipple. Katara cried out and Zuko smiled. Steam rose from around him as he tried to melt the ice. He was slowly becoming triumphant as Katara was thoroughly distracted. A sudden squeeze to his shaft made him jump in the water, Mai's lips now encasing Katara's other breast and her hand between her legs. He stared at them. Were they really doing this just on a whim? Katara's hand loosened and the ice broke. Mai stopped her toying with the water bender who was now panting from the moaning that had escaped her lips. "Zuko.. Didn't you know it's rude to stare?" Mai giggled. Standing up, she walked away as she left Katara there to splash onto her back. Eyes closed, face flushed, and panting, it was like she didn't want to get up. Zuko eyed Mai's behind as she walked away from the waters and stroked himself, smiling.
Katara soon came down from her high as she floated in the waist-deep water. Sitting up, she blushed at Zuko as his face became content. She watched as bubbles of white jumped out of the water. He smiled at her. "I.. I really should get to my room." Slowly backing away, she could still not take her eyes off Zuko. She meekly bowed to him and stood quickly.
"Katara." Zuko called after her as her feet met the rocky floor out of the pool. She stopped and turned to face him. "I have a meeting tomorrow in the mid-morning. I'd like you to be there." Blinking, Katara looked at him questioningly. "We're want to negociate a small fire nation colony to have better trading with the northern and southern water tribes. I think your input would be very valuable." He stood and Katara turned away. He walked up behind her and put his arms around her, hugging her middle and lowering his head to her ear. "Thank you. For back in Ba Sing Se. I owe you my life for that." His body pressed against hers and she leaned back into his hug. "If you need anything - anything at all. Just let me know." He was solemn and greatful, speaking softly into her ear. She nodded, blushing more as his powerfully muscled chest rippled against her back. He turned her to face him. "I mean it." Placing a hand on her cheek, she smiled. He nodded in satisfaction. "Oh.. And I'm going to get you two back for that." He promised her. Leaning his head down, he placed a soft but firm kiss on her lips. A short intake of breath from her as he did this and he smiled. Pulling back slowly, Zuko turned to leave the springs leaving Katara standing there in slight shock.
Smiling as she eyed his rear as he walked away, a small shiver ran up her spine. She didn't need anything from him or his nation. Katara would have to think on his offer.
