Leroy sprinted through the brush dodging trees and undergrowth. He felt a pang of nausea in his stomach as he made his way through the forest, feeling angry and distraught. He just couldn’t believe that Stitch would be dishonest to him; he thought that Stitch loved him and that he would never do anything to hurt him. In reality this was true but Leroy was still irrationally judicious and not to mention volatile. Leroy didn’t stop to calm down, he kept running on all fours until he came to a street of the small town of Kokaua.
Stitch began his search, but in all the wrong places though; he figured that Leroy would have sought out seclusion. At first Stitch had attempted to follow Leroy’s scent, but Jumba had given Leroy the ability to mask it at will, making it impossible for Stitch to pick it up over any long distances. So Stitch was forced to search using his other senses.
Stitch searched everywhere; from beaches and coves, to atop mount Waialeale, there was just no sign of Leroy. Stitch gave up disheartened, hoping that he was alright and just needed some time alone. However nothing could have been further from the truth.
“Why did he just run off like that? I didn’t do anything to hurt him did I? Does Leroy not trust me? I love him, Doesn’t he love me?”
All these thoughts swam in Stitch’s mind as he approached the familiar house with the large dome on top. Stitch opened the door just in time to hear Pleakley’s panicking;
AHHH! You ya little monster, this is all your fault!
“Gaba?” Stitch asked Pleakely.
“Look what that Leroy is doing!!! It’s all over the local news! And it’s all because you let that little monster out!” Pleakley was screaming and shouting and pointing at the TV.
Stitch quickly ran up to the television and sure enough he was greeted with images of Leroy destroying Kokaua Town.
“But why?” Stitch asked himself out loud.
“I’ll tell ya why, because he’s a destructive little monster that’s why! I don’t know why you and Lilo are even trying to change him, can’t you see he’s too dangerous!?
Stitch growled and turned his head to Pleakley baring his teeth. Pleakley, who is easily intimidated, quickly backed away.
“Umm, ah, I’ll, ahh… go get Jumba.”
With that Pleakley was gone in a flash, out the door to Jumba’s ship.
Stitch looked at the TV again with a sad and confused expression on his face. “I have to stop him” Stitch said to himself as he ran out the front door.

Meanwhile Leroy was taking out his frustration on anything that crossed his path. He lifted an oil tanker and hurled it through an office building; the oil from the truck began leaking as Leroy grabbed a telephone pole and ripped it out of the side walk. This caused the power lines to break loose and begin to spark; these sparks landed on the spilled oil and quickly caught fire. The fire spread rapidly throughout much of the town as the fire fighters attempted to stem the flames.
Content with all the destruction he caused, Leroy soon moved to another section of the town. He then happened upon a large yellow building, just as two girls were walking out. One he didn’t recognize, but he instantly knew the other was Lilo.
“See you later Lilo.” Victoria called out
“Ok, bye Victoria.” Lilo waved back before the two separated.
But Lilo didn’t make it far before Leroy jumped out of the trees in an ambush.
“Ahhh! Leroy you scared me. What are you doing out here and where’s Stitch?”
Leroy didn’t pay attention, he lunged at Lilo and slashed her across the chest. The wound wasn’t deep, but it was enough for Lilo to cry out in pain.
"Argh, Leroy what are you doing, I thought Stitch turned you good?" Lilo said in a weakened tone while holding her wound.
“Humph” Leroy snarled in disgust.
Lilo then got up and ran to the side of the building, but she was now cornered. And with her back to the wall, Leroy lunged at her once again.
Lilo closed her eyes and waited for the end, but it didn’t come. She opened her eyes only to see Stitch and Leroy rolling around on the dirt attempting to pin the other.
“Stitch!” Lilo shouted glad that her friend came to her rescue.
Stitch didn’t respond, he was to busy fighting with Leroy, who had been pinned to the ground but with a kick of his legs he was able to fling Stitch off of him.
Stitch Landed in front of the building while Leroy struggled to get to his feet. Lilo peeked around the corner and saw the two staring each other down.
The duo stood their for a few moments until Leroy broke the silence.
“So the little slave has to protect his master” Leroy nastily said to Stitch
“Gaba? Leroy what are you talking about?" Stitch inquired upon hearing this.
“Hamsterviel did it to me once and I won’t let it happen again!” Leroy shouted
Stitch stood there puzzled. He didn’t have the faintest Idea what Leroy was talking about.
“Leroy, Stitch and Lilo naga want to hurt you.” Stitch said but Leroy refused to listen
“Your lying! You already hurt me and now youga pay!” Leroy shouted as he leapt at Stitch.
Stitch didn’t have time to respond; Leroy had struck him too quickly and sent him flying into a tree. Stitch rebounded and jumped back at Leroy, this time with all appendages out. His fist collided with Leroy’s gut and it knocked the wind out of him temporarily. Stitch, realizing what he did, knelt down in an attempt to help Leroy up. But Leroy responded with an uppercut to Stitch’s jaw. It sent Stitch’s head back and caused blood to fly out. Stitch stumbled backwards woozily as he tried to regain his focus. Leroy then charged Stitch and tackled him to the ground. Leroy attempted to pound Stitch while on the ground but most of his punches were blocked. Leroy then stooped and grabbed Stitch by the upper arms and began throwing punches at Stitch’s gut. He then lifted Stitch up over his head and threw him into the wall of the building.
“Come on Stitch, why don’t you fight!?” Leroy demanded of Stitch.
But as soon as Stitch was able to regain his composure he answered; “*cough*, because Leroy, meega don’t want to hurt you.” Stitch stammered out.
Leroy growled at Stitch and lunged at him, but Stitch was able to dodge his attack. And soon the two were in a chase around the halau.
“Come back here coward!” Leroy called out
“Naga Leroy! I won’t fight you.” Stitch called back.
Stitch then outwit Leroy by rounding a corner and quickly climbing up to the roof of the building. Leroy who was to blinded with rage to think straight ran into the woods trying to pick up Stitch’s scent.
Stitch then crawled over to the front of the halau and dropped down off the roof onto the ground. There he saw Lilo sitting on the ground leaning up against the wall, nursing her wound.
“Stitch what happened? Why is Leroy doing all this?”
Lilo wanted answers, and it was clear to Stitch that he couldn’t keep his secret from her any longer.
“Ummm, Lilo. Meega and Leroy isa in Lo...”
But before Stitch could finish, Leroy jumped on his back. The force of his weight from the high drop was enough for Stitch to collapse to the ground. Leroy lifted Stitch up over his head again and hurled him into a bush.
“Stitch!” Lilo cried out, this time in distress.
Leroy slowly turned around to see Lilo who tried inching her way from him but to no avail, Leroy would have been able to catch her even without her injury, so if he wanted to kill her then and there he would have had no problem. And this is just what he was thinking, but before he could leap on to Lilo to deal a deathblow, a blast of plasma flew through the air and hit him on his side.
Stitch had untangled himself from the bushes just in time to witness Jumba fire a plasma cannon at Leroy.
“626 here use this.” Jumba called out to Stitch as he threw him an odd looking blaster rifle.
“It will deliver painful shock that will stun him long enough for you to capture him.”
Leroy had just regained his composure and looked ready to attack Lilo one last time. Stitch aimed the gun at Leroy who was now starting to move towards the girl.
Stitch would have pulled the trigger but he didn’t, instead he dropped the gun and called out:
“Leroy please don’t!” Leroy stopped just a few feet short of Lilo and turned his head towards Stitch with a vicious look on his face.
“Meega love you Leroy and you know that. But please don’t hurt Lilo, She is my best friend and... You’re my buchi bu. And Meega not want to lose either so please stop.” Stitch begged, his voice chocked up as he held back tears.
Everyone (including Pleakley and Nani who showed up with Jumba in the buggy) looked at Stitch with shocked expressions on their faces. Some other experiments who were nearby when they heard all the commotion had just shown up to witness Stitch spill his guts out in front of everyone, Angel being among them. But Stitch didn’t care; he simply made his way over to Leroy whose shoulders had now slouched his head hung low and his eyes closed in shame.
Stitch grabbed Leroy and held him in a tight hug; he kissed him on the head and began whispering to him in their turian language. He told Leroy that it was all a misunderstanding and that it was his fault for making him question their love and go off rampaging, all simply because he was afraid to tell Lilo the truth. Leroy then looked up at Stitch with sorrow and regret in his eyes.
“Naga Stitch, isa all my fault, soka.” Leroy said apologetically.
And with that Leroy broke free of Stitch’s grasp and ran off down the secluded beach to be alone. Stitch just sat there feeling a bit rejected but also mad, mad at himself for everything that had happened. Everyone looked at Stitch as he sat on the grass alone with his ears and head drooped down.
Lilo then picked herself up and half staggered over to Stitch, who was too emotionally distraught to even acknowledg her presence. She placed her hand on his shoulder to let him know that she was there for him.
“Stitch. I don’t care who you love, it doesn’t matter to me at all if you love Angel or Leroy or whoever.”
“What does matter is that your happy and that’s it. if you want to be with Leroy then fine, but remember you’ll always be my best friend.”
Stitch looked up at Lilo with a somewhat confused look on his face. “Lilo doesn’t care if Stitch is… gay?”
Lilo shook her head. “Stitch it doesn’t matter what others think of you, all that matters is your happiness and that’s what makes me the most happy, to see you, my best friend in the whole world, content with the life you have.” Lilo said with a reassuring smile.
Stitch looked at Lilo for a moment mesmerized by her words. He then brought his head up and licked her on the cheek.
“Takka Lilo” Stitch said to his friend.
“I’ll always be there for you Stitch, just as you came for me when I needed a friend the most. Now go after Leroy, I know you love him so go to him.”
Stitch gave Lilo a nod, got up off the ground and ran down the beach after his buchi bu.

Author’s Notes: There, I think that chapter was much better then the second and it even had some cool action in it to boot. Oh but don’t worry, the next chapter will contain its own kind of ‘action’ as well. ::wink wink::
