Ok. No sex in this chapter. My apologies. Heyyy don't give me that look the first two chapters were NOTHING BUT sex! xD Anyway this is to take the plot and sum it all up. This one's a bit more lighthearted than the rest of the story, but it's not exactly happy or anything. O.o I made a bit of an attempt to be funny towards the end. And FYI this is the final chapter. Some of the stuff in here seems tragically unrealistic, but remember that this is the BaM universe and not everybody in here was born with more than half of a brain. Take me for example. I should be doing something productive yet I widdle away my lazy life writing erotic stories. But at least they make me happy. xP
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the characters or settings in here, they belong to whatever company owns The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, I'm just borrowing them for my nasty little story. :P
Grim, Billy, and Mandy were all at the Café de la Glasse for an afternoon snack when Mindy came in, glancing around the room frantically as she made her way to a table. She was still shaken up about whatever had been bothering her lately. "Hey, isn't dat Mindy? What's up wid her, man?" asked Grim, jerking his head in the girl's direction.
"She got mugged by someone with eyes." said Billy absentmindedly, taking a lick of his chocolate-vanilla swirl on a cone. Grim raised what would be his eyebrow at the boy, but dismissed the topic.
A frilly-looking waitress approached Mindy. "May ah take your order?" Her voice was like butter melting on toast. Mindy jumped at the sudden presence and took a second to collect herself.
"Ah- uh, yes- I would like- um, a, a... dish or strawberry ice cream, please. Er, make that a small." The woman scribbles something on her notepad and nodded. "Use low-fat ice cream if you have any!" she added as the waitress walked away.
The trio went on eating their ice cream and casually observing the twitchy girl until the little café started shaking violently. "What's that?!" cried Billy, clinging to the table leg for support. The other customers of the café screamed and were tossed about like a salad of people. Mandy was knocked out of her seat and fell into Grim, causing his body to spill into a pile of bones.
A crack started to crease the floor tile, and it spread until the building was ripped in two. A huge root shot out of it after the shaking died down and took hold of Mindy by the ankle. She was yanked off her seat and it was dragging her back down with it. "Somebody please help me!" she screamed hysterically.
The rest of the people had fled by then, leaving only the skeleton and his two best friends to watch the scene, wide-eyed. After Mindy's screaming had faded into the depthd of the earth, Mandy cleared her throat and crossed her arms in a huff. "It had to happen here, didn't it? And on ice cream day, too..." she muttered, grabbing her coat and stomping off for the door, despite the gaps in the walls she could have just as easily exitted from.
Grim ressurected himself and Billy scratched his head. "I don't get it!" he exclaimed in annoyance. Grim sighed.
"Don't worry, Billy, I have a feeling we'll find out what's going on soon enough." Billy shrugged and the two of them started following Mandy.
...Night fell across Endsville. Everything seemed normal, everything except for the subtle fact that one girl was missing, a red-headed cheerleader by the name of Mindy...
Mindy stirred, deep down in the center of the earth. Her head felt like a sack of bricks, and she was so fatigued that she could barely open her eyes. They flickered open for a small moment, but her vision was smeared together and everything looked like an oil painting. She groaned and flexed her arms- well, she tried to, anyway. To her horror she found that she was stuck to a wall, bound by what seemed to be more roots. She couldn't move very much, and her whole body was aching to curl up into a ball.
When the overwhelmed girl finally could keep her eyes open, she saw that she was alone in a small room that was carved inside of the ground somewhere. There was a door on the wall opposite of her, and as if on cue, it opened and someone stepped inside.
He was tall, and his skin was as black as coal. His physical structure was not quite that of a human's, but it was mostly similar. He had a sort of hook on the back of his head, and he had a pleasant smile on his face. "Daughter-in-law!" he chorused, spreading his arms.
"You must be Nergal Senior!" she hissed bitterly, the strength to shout coming from the hatred inside of her. "What did Junior do to my parents?! When I found them last night, they were in comas! They'd better wake up!" Mindy demanded, hoping she sounded more convincing than afraid.
Nergal put up his hand to quiet her and tucked the other one behind his back. "Now, now, don't fret, little one! Your parents are fine, they'll have woken up by now. I'm awfully sorry about that, my son has a tendency to do anything it takes to get what he wants." He was firm, but remained fairly friendly.
"And you're okay with that?!" she shrieked, seething with rage.
"Normally, perhaps I would have grounded him for doing such a thing to one of his friends..."
'F...friend?! I seriously doubt that I consider myself Junior's friend!'
"...but you must understand, my dear! Junior has finally fallen in love, and love is the sole thing that makes the world turn. Without love, why, we'd all have no purpose for existing." Mindy rolled her eyes, unnoticed, and Nergal continued. "Do you see why it is imperative that he gets his love at an early age?"
"Sure, whatever! But why me?" she whined helplessly. Nergal smiled broadly.
"Because it's you he loves!"
Mindy closed her eyes and hung her head in misery. "But I don't love him." she whispered, barely audible to the man's ears.
Nergal's smile faultered and he appeared rather stern and intimidating. "You shall, Mindy. In time, you shall. I have to leave now, the wedding will be tomorrow. Have a nice sleep, future princess of the center of the earth!" He closed the door behind him, and Mindy was alone, in body and heart.
...The reason that no one had been looking for Mindy was because Junior decided to pay her parents a little visit- but not as himself.
In her bedroom, he sat at her mirror and envisioned her in his mind. Slowly, he began to take her form. Her essence was drifting all around the room, and it helped him to think like her; which he had to do to be convincing. He dug through her closet and found a dress the she often wore on the weekends, and threw it on. He smirked at the full body mirror and pouted his lips before giggling in her voice, "Don't I look pretty today?"
After he was done goofing around, he hurried down the stairs to meet Mindy's mother and father just as they started coming to. Mindy had pulled them both (with difficulty) onto adjacent couches the night before. "Ugh, what a hangover..." grumbled the man, struggling to sit up.
"I don't recall a thing. Oh, my head!" said the woman, rubbing her eyes.
"Mom, Dad." called Junior deviously.
"What is it, dear?" asked Mindy's mother weakly.
"Um, I'd just like to inform you that I'm getting married to a powerful and sexy boy tonight, and moving to the center of the earth."
"What?" questioned Mindy's father, rolling over to look at "his daughter."
"I said, I'm getting married tonight, and moving to the center of the earth immediately, and you have absolutely no sat in the matter, whatsoever." replied Junior, smugly, crossing his arms with authority.
"Whatever, just leave us alone so we can get over these bad hangovers!" pleaded the woman. Junior beamed and casually walked out of the house.
'That was a snap. Her parents are so weak and stupid, I didn't have to kill them after all!'
...Morning settled in, and Mindy was awakened by hitting the hard floor with a painful thunk as the roots released her. A woman entered the room. She looked oddly familiar to the young girl. She had long red hair, glasses, and an extremely large nose. "Do I know you?" asked Mindy timidly, drawing her stiff arms and legs to herself.
"Don't know, don't care." The woman's voice was dry and raspy. "I'm Billy's aunt Sis. I'm going to be your new mother-in-law." 'Oh, that's right. Otherwise Billy and Junior wouldn't be cousins.' thought Mindy, staring thoughtfully at the floor.
"I see. Do you feel bad for me? Your husband obviously doesn't. No one does." She was trying to sound tough, like it didn't matter that she was about to be forced into a marriage, but the evidence slipped through her unsteady voice.
Aunt Sis sighed and leaned against the wall. "I honestly can't say I do. I want my son to be happy, and you seem to do that. And since you're going to spend eternity with him, you'd better get used to it. Don't see why your complaining, though, he's charming and sweet, just like his father." She smiled a tiny bit at the thought.
Mindy's lip twitched in aggitation. 'Charming? Sweet? Is what he did to me not once, but twice, sweet?!'
"You'd better come on. The wedding is in less than an hour, and I've got to make sure you're cleaned up for it." Aunt Sis held out her hand to Mindy and helped her up.
Meanwhile, Nergal had arranged a huge wedding ceremony, and over a hundred underworldly beings were invited. Also present were Billy, Mandy, and of coarse Grim.
"Told you we'd find out soon." muttered Grim, boredly messing with the blade on his scythe.
"You know, Mandy, you don't make a very good maid of honor. Shouldn't you be, urh, helping Mindy or somethin'?" scorned Billy. He was wearing a blood red tuxedo and his hair was slicked back. Mandy was reclining back in a plastic chair, her feet on a table. She was wearing a dress the same color of Billy's tux, with a long slit in one side trailing up her thigh.
"It's not like you make a good best man, either. Attacking that random guy with Grim's scythe for no reason." she shot back.
Billy frowned. "But he looked at me funny!"
"He had a lazy eye, moron."
The boy thought this over a minute. "Oh. My bad?"
Junior came over to them, looking quite at ease. "How is everything?" he asked smugly, leaning on the table Mandy's feet were on.
"Eh." said the girl.
"So true." Billy nodded solemnly.
"The ceremony is getting ready to start. Wish me luck." He had a malicious grin on his face. Billy gave him a thumbs up and Junior took his place next to the minister, a zombie with a brown afro and a raspy voice, whose orders were to marry the two no matter what Mindy did. The organ started playing a dark, out of tune version of "Here Comes the Bride." The jovial buzzing of the crowd quietted down and Mindy entered the room, arm-in-arm with Nergal. She had a look of pure sickness on her face, yet no one could see it under the veil. She appeared ravishing in her sparkling, flowing, maroon wedding dress that many other mortal girls would have gladly sold their souls for. Behind the veil one could barely see that her hair was down, and it naturally curled to frame her face in a flattering way.
It seemed to take them forever to reach the podium. Junior bit his lip in anticipation. Mindy felt so weak that she almost lost her footing several times, but her determined father-in-law made sure that she kept on walking. Eventually, though, her feet stopped and she was standing right by Junior. Nergal let her go and stepped aside to his wife, looking proud. The minister began the ceremonial speech. "Dearly departed, we are gathered here today to unite these two young lovers in a rather unholy marriage. Skipping all the boring stuff, Nergal Junior, do you take this here Mindy to be your permanent wife, forever and ever no matter what she thinks about that?"
"Oh, I do." he said, nodding his head with amusement. Mindy's stomach turned over.
"Mindy do you take that there Nergal Junior to be your husband, despite his undying hormones and forceful expressions of love?"
"I..." Mindy squeaked, but Mandy marched up to her and whispered something into the bride's ear that just happened to change her mind completely. The blonde smirked in satisfaction and returned to her position. "...do!" finished Mindy excitedly, the sick feeling vanishing at record speed. Everyone, Junior, Nergal, Aunt Sis, Billy, and Grim included, were all taken aback. They stared at the couple with their mouths agape in disbelief. Wasn't she going to put up a fight like they expected?
"What under de earth did you tell her, Mandy?" asked a shocked Grim. Mandy chuckled.
"Just that marrying Junior would make her immortal, meaning she'd be young and healthy forever. It's interesting where her priorities are, but hey, I can't blame her."
"But Mandy, why would it matter to you if they got married or not?" said Billy in confusion.
"Well, duh. If they get married it means they're probably going to spend all of their time together. The more they do that, the less I have to deal with Mindy. Now, let's watch this thing unravel." She took a sip from her cherry slushie and made herself comfortable.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife. Once again, forever." The zombie minister slapped his book closed and disappeared in a puff of blue smoke. Junior bilted up the wedding veil and pulled Mindy against himself, kissing her lips passionately. When he pulled away her face was flushed, but she looked calm, and somewhat pleased.
"You know what this means I'm going to do to you every night, don't you?" he murmured into her ear.
"I think I can deal." said Mindy, feeling dirty and alive.
