This chapter is an insight to Lynn’s POV in away to her fight with the fire lord. I wrote it to demonstrate how powerful of a water bender she is. And from where she can bend all elements, she can also draw on the power of the comet to use it to her advantage. Newho enjoy!

Chapter Three: Recollection
Lynn could feel someone standing over her, it was slightly aggravating as she as told everyone she will take a break later.
“I told you, I will take a break after I finish healing him.” Lynn stated.
“Uhh…” Lynn quickly looked up as she recognized that voice, and her eyes brighten as she saw Zuko’s face.
“Prince Zuko!” She quickly stood up letting her water fall to the ground and bowed gracefully before him.
“I wish you would just call me Zuko.” Zuko reached for her, attempting to get her to stop bowing before him.
“I’m sorry. Old habits die hard?” She slightly bowed again and moved her hands to pull the water from the ground and kneeled back down and began to heal again. She looked up at Zuko as she moved her hands around the wounded citizen.
“I’m glad to see you are okay, Zuko.”
“Its good to see you are doing good to after all this time.”
Lynn smiled. She had a slight guess of why Zuko was here, but she wasn’t exactly for sure. “After I get done healing him, I will take a break and we can talk.”
Zuko nodded and dismissed himself. Zuko walked around for a little until he came to a fountain, that was bone dry. It reminded him the night when he went on a date with Jin, and lit the fire lanterns for her. He sat down on the edge and looked about, and noticed that the half behind him was undamaged from fires. It gave him a sense of relief to see some of the city still in tact.
“I’m surprise do to see you here, Zuko.” Lynn approached the prince. Zuko turned back around to face Lynn. He slightly blushed, at her. She was wearing a white and blue robe that slightly clung to her curves, and her silky blonde hair was slightly pulled back. It was very similar to how Katara wore her hair now.
“I’m actually surprised to see you here too in Ba Sing Se. It was somewhere I thought you would avoid due to the recent Fire Nation occupation.”
Lynn sat down next to Zuko and looked at the half of the city that laid in ruins from the fires.
“I came to Ba Sing Se after” Lynn turned and face Zuko “I learned you and Azula brought it down to its knees.” Lynn looked down to hide her frown. Zuko’s heart slightly sank.
“Why would you come, knowing I was here with Azula?”
“I was going to try to stop the occupation of the city.” Lynn looked away. “But once I got here, I knew I couldn’t do it alone. Water is the only element I am master of, and I knew once I reached you and Azula, fighting you both at the same time would be something I wouldn’t be able to handle.”
Zuko’s heart sank even more at that comment. He wasn’t actually for sure or not if he would have fought Lynn. He was blind and he even tossed his uncle to the side for something that he THOUGHT he wanted.
“So instead of fighting, I decided to help the ones I could. The ones that the fire nation soldiers wounded, and on occasion fight a patrol or two.”
“I’m not happy or proud with what I did with Azula here in Ba Sing Se.” Zuko put his head down “I know a lot of what has happened to the city, is my fault as well.”
Lynn looked at Zuko and smile. “Iroh has told me a lot about what you have done though Zuko. About how you stood up to your father, and sought out the Avatar, not to capture him, but to teach him fire bending.”
“I know I could never make up for what I did, but I know I can help out with making things right.”
Lynn nodded in agreement with Zuko. She was happy to see that Zuko, finally found his own way.
“Uncle, also told me your fight with the my father.”
Lynn sighed. “Yes, I fought your father.” Lynn thought back to the events that happened yesterday.
*Flash back, with Lynn explaining the events*
“I never knew about your uncle being here or the comet, until everything started happening at once.”
Lynn stood by a water fountain in the middle of the city, and was practicing her water bending, since no fire nation soldiers were around.
“I began to feel weird, like a rush of energy began to flow through my body. It was something I never felt before.”
Lynn’s eyes widen as she looked to the sky and noticed the comet searing and scarring the atmosphere. She let the water drop back into the fountain as she watched flames rising and falling in the streets close to her. She quickly jumped to the side as a fire nation tank came flying at her.
“I noticed that fire benders were fighting fire benders, along with some earth and water benders. I knew it was finally time to strike against the Fire Nation and run them out of the city.”
Lynn gathered up all the water from the fountain, and began to run to where all the action was taking place. She saw a patrol running towards her and whipped them out of her way with the water.
“The comet’s energy that filled the fire benders also filled me, making my water bending strangely strong as well. I could easily sweep 20 men far away with my bending.”
Lynn stood as there was no more fire nation soldiers running towards her anymore. She looked around and looked up as she saw many birds fleeing. She turned to see what they was fleeing from and her eyes widen in shock. “Oh no!”
“I used the energy that the comet blessed me with to my advantage. I began pulling all the water from the earth, sky and even from buckets and fountains in the city.”
Lynn stood swirling her arms about her gathering up all the water she could, as quickly as she could. She saw the air ships reach the outer rim of the city raining the fire down below. She expanded her arms, commanding the water to expand into a bubble.
“Although I was able to expand the bubble fully to protect the whole city I couldn’t hold it for long.”
Lynn’s knees gave out and she fell on them, attempting to keep the bubble up and she let out a scream as the bubble collapsed and water rained down on Ba Sing Se. She let out a deep sigh, and looked to the airships that stop in mid air.
“I saw your father approaching me. I knew he was going to try to stop me.”
Lynn squinted her eyes as she watched the fire lord approach her. He was fuming and furious that someone was able to stop him. Lynn stood up and began moving her arms gathering up water around her to shield her self. The fire lord stop short of her.
“How dare you, attempt to stop me, you water tribe peasant. Attempting to stop me is futile, and will only lead to your end.”
“I seem to manage.” Lynn spout back at him. She inhaled allowing the comet to fill her with one last burst of energy.
The fire lord began to strike with everything, nothing holding him back, using everything he had to strike the girl down. She whipped the water around each time, stopping his flames reaching her, but with each lash out her feet would slip.
“I was able to hold him, but I wasn’t for sure how long I was going to be able to keep him off of me. With each strike, my feet would slip. Then the fire lord stopped his ruthless attacks against me, and before I could realize he sent a lightning bolt out at someone else. While he had his back turned to me, I summoned all the water again in the city, but he turned and realized what I was doing and sent a fire blast and wiped out half of the city to the side.”
Lynn’s eyes widen, but she quickly regained her pose and summoned a wave, taking the fire lord and putting the fires out in the city.
“Once I carried your father in my wave to outside of the city, I dropped him and ran over to the person he struck down.”
Lynn motioned her hands pulling what little water was left out of the ground and ran to the person that was lying dead in front of her. She gasped as she realized it was Iroh. She looked to the sky and noticed the comet was almost gone. She took one deep breath, as her hands began to glow white. The light filled the city. She moved her hands to Iroh’s wound oh his chest.
“I knew you could bring someone back to life with the power of healing, but I knew it couldn’t be done with regular water, but had to be water that was blessed by the spirits of the moon and ocean.”
Lynn closed her eyes as could feel her energy drain as she intensified the healing. “Come on, Iroh” Her eye widen as she could feel his heart start to beat again. She looked down at Iroh as she continued to work on him moving her water about in him, healing and reviving the organs. Iroh opened his eyes. Lynn smiled. Iroh began to move. “Don’t move. Your badly injured from where the Fire Lord struck you down.” Iroh laid still and let her continue to work on him. Iroh looked at Lynn.
“I owe you a great deal of gratitude for saving me. The people of Ba Sing Se also owe you great gratitude as well.”
Lynn smiled. “It was nothing. No one needs to thank me for anything.”
Iroh looked at the sky as he watched the comet finally disappear from the horizon. Lynn sighed as she felt a lot of the energy leave her body. She lifted her hands from Iroh’s chest and let the water drip down to the ground.
“Your completely healed.”
Iroh began to stand and Lynn followed his lead. Iroh then bowed before her.
“Thank you Lynn.”
She bowed before the Great General.
Iroh turned and looked at the city that was half destroyed. Lynn looked with Iroh.
“I wasn’t able to save Ba Sing Se after all.” Lynn sighed.
Iroh put his hand on Lynn’s shoulder. “You have done a great deal at helping Ba Sing Se, to be so young.”
Lynn continued to gaze over the city. She looked at Iroh and noticed that he was wearing robes that identify him to be a part of the White Lotus. She smiled.
“I see you are hear with the White Lotus.”
Iroh nodded. “We came, to help Ba Sing Se and free it from the Fire Nation.”
“Mind if I help?”
Iroh laughed slightly. “Of course not!”
*End of Flash back*
Zuko looked down and frowned.
“I guess you wouldn’t be able to bring back the Avatar would you?”
Lynn shook her head. “No. Unfortunately I would have had to been there as soon as it happened. It has been to long, and even with spirit water, my efforts would be in vain.”
Zuko turned and looked Lynn in the eyes.
“Then you are the last hope, of stopping my father.”
Lynn stood up and slightly walked away, with her back turned to Zuko. Lynn sighed.
“Zuko, I am far from able to defeating the Fire Lord.”
Zuko looked at Lynn and frowned. He didn’t like putting all this on Lynn. He wished that she didn’t have to bear such a responsibility like the Avatar had. They are both to young to bear something of its weight. While Lynn was couple years older than Aang, Zuko still believed it was too much.
Zuko stood up and walked over to Lynn and stood next to her.
“I don’t mean to put so much on you.”
Lynn turned and faced Zuko.
“I know you don’t.” She sighed “I knew when the Fire Lord reached Ba Sing Se, that the Avatar was dead. I also knew that I would have to face the Fire Lord, but…” Lynn looked down. “I still have so much to learn, and no time to learn anything.”
“There isn’t much left that the Fire Lord could do to the world. You should have plenty of time of mastering the elements and preparing yourself for the battle you will have with him.” Zuko try reassuring Lynn.
“But…I still need teachers. And there is no one left to teach me air bending.”
“I can finish teaching you fire bending. I also have a friend that can teach you earth bending.”
Lynn thought for a moment but then nodded. “Very well then, but I wish to stay here for awhile and help your uncle.”
“That’s fine.”
Lynn the bowed before Zuko. “I must get back to healing.”
“I told you, you don’t have to bow before me anymore.”
Lynn just smiled and waved as she walked back towards the middle. Zuko stood and watched her walk away. Zuko smiled and decided that he should go find the others.
----------------------------------------------------------------
The Fire Lord sat in his chamber staring at the wall of flames before him. His anger was almost to a breaking point. A silly little water tribe peasant stopped him from bringing Ba Sing Se down.
“Fire Lord.” A general bowed before Ozai. “You called my lord.”
“Yes.” The Fire Lord smiled wickedly. “I want you to launch an attack on the Northern Water Tribe. A peasant from there manage to stop me at Ba Sing Se, and I want her to pay the consequences by wiping her people from existence.”
The general nodded. “Not to dishonor your wish my lord, but I believe Admiral Zhao had attempted once.”
“I am aware of his failure.” The Fire Lord stood up and began walking towards the general. “Since he wasn’t able to kill the spirit of the moon, we will launch the attack during a lunar eclipse. From what the scholars have predicted, we will be able to launch such an attack in the next few months. We will strike them when they are weak, like how the Avatar try to strike us during the solar eclipse.”
The General bowed again. “I will being the preparations my lord”
The general dismissed himself from the chamber, as the Fire Lord, went back to his throne and called a guard over.
“Bring me Azula.”
