S’Raki finally admitted her feelings to Andrew Quick aka Flashback while in Void Time. She said the L word which she couldn’t erase from time or force Andrew to forget. She had known he loved her. Hell he would tell her any chance he would get.
“Andrew have you ever been curious?” S’Raki asked him as she pulled them out of Void Time
He had to really think about that. Curious about what? He was curious about a lot of things. Like where did she go when she disappeared after missions with him? What she did when she wasn’t being a seeming workaholic? Did she have any tattoos? He was curious about many things about her. Some were innocent things just like that. Others were things he pondered in the dark when he was all alone and allowed what perverted thoughts went unfiltered in his mind go unchecked.
“I have been curious about a lot of things about you. Why do you ask?”
“I have things I’ve wondered about you too. I want to express how much I love you. Are you comfortable with that? I consider you a friend of mine first and I wouldn’t want to sacrifice that for anything”
“I don’t want things to get weird between us and you want nothing to do with me”
“I don’t think we can ‘have things get weird between us.’ We have been through so much and have seen way too much together. How much weirder can you get than that?”
He had to think about that and they did experience some really fucked up crazy ass shit together.
He spoke and hoped he wouldn’t come across as a pervert. “S’Raki I would love for us to go further and I don’t mind going slow if that is what you want”
“Are you feeling insecure?”
“Maybe”
“I promise I won’t laugh. I promise I won’t judge you on any past loves I have had. You are not them. You are you and should be judged accordingly. I won't judge you based on things we did while you were Time Storm. There is a lot for you process isn’t there? We can go as fast or as slow as you want. I can go if you want”
”Please stay. No need for you to go. I would love your company”
“You never thought there would come a day in which you could get exactly what you want and you aren’t sure what to make of it or what to do because until now it was just a what if kind of thing”
“We have seen some strange things happen…”
“You don’t know if the reality you are in can be trusted”
“Exactly”
“I am taking the advice of others. Before coming to visit you I went to talk with an old friend of fine, Miga, Her advice as with everybody else’s was to go see you and tell you exactly how I feel and let happen what will happen. Not to alter time or change anything just let it be. She told me to stop feeling guilty and reminded me of my brother and what he would have told me.”
“I could try to bring him back”
“Time is a tricky thing. The past doesn’t always affect the future, sometimes the future affects the past”
“Something I finally understood with our last mission. I know I can’t alter the past by stepping outside of time and going to a specific point in time in the past to try to change things. For a long time, I wanted to save your brother and in turn save you. I have saved my parents and my uncle many times. I saved Sam. I have never been your champion and I would love to be”
“You don’t have to save him. I have come to terms long ago and accepted that he is gone. They erased him from time after they murdered him”
“Then I would have to ‘un-erase’ somebody from time”
“I never taught you how to do that”
“I would love to learn”
“It’s in general, forbidden knowledge”
“Wouldn’t be the first time you taught me be so called forbidden knowledge and won’t be the last either. I think you do it in the spirit of mischief knowing I can get away with things that others can’t”
“Or maybe I see your potential and feel no knowledge should be banned. That is the real reason I do it”
“Why is it forbidden?
“Because when someone or something is erased from time it’s not like Eobard Thawne in the Flash using it for selfish reasons. Normally, it’s done because somebody did something so unforgivable and beyond any hope for redemption or because something was created and it can do some serious damage to all time and space. However it’s because of people like Eobard Thawne people and things can be un-erased from time as well. The trick is to know the difference”
“When do we start?”
“Andrew we are on holiday anything I can teach you in regards to work can wait”
A few days had passed and Andrew was happier than he even been in his life. He could finally say yes she really is my girlfriend. While S’Raki went out with his Aunt Mei and his grandma he talked with his dad, in The D’li-K Sector with Sam who was like another Uncle to him.
“That is great news Andrew.” Johnny said via holo.
“I don’t want to go too fast and she decides she doesn’t want anything to do with me”
“When I started dating your mom I had a reputation as a Playboy who would sleep with anything that moved and a few things that didn’t. I was very wild and very bad. Then she finally agreed to start dating me. I don’t know her reasons why but I did a complete turn around and instead of trying to bed her as quickly as I could I took the time to truly get to know and went slow. Sometimes a little too slow and I thought she was going to just leave to times. The point I am making is you both have been very close friends for a while and you are battle mates, which only makes you closer than her being just a friend. The connection is much stronger because that is what happens when you are in the thick of it. I have been friends with Sam since Basic Training long ago. It’s ok to test the water if she says no then stop and apologize for being too forward. I may have been a wild playboy before I got involved your mom but I always knew that no meant stop and find yourself somebody willing. Don’t forget to use protection.”
Meanwhile S’Raki was with Mei and Andrew’s grandma Kei a feisty older Asian woman who looked ageless with a short classic asymmetrical white bob and dressed blue fitted body suit with a mandarin collar with matching boots. They decided she needed to go shopping for clothes with them get her hair and nails done and go to a spa. They really liked her and hoped she would join the family sooner rather than later.
Mei and Damian were planning a party to introduce their grandson’s girlfriend to high society at this party. S’Raki had lived a very long time had many wives, husbands, and lovers over the years. Some were wealthy and treated her like she was just a trophy wife to be an accessory like all their other things. She was looking at formal dresses to wear. She was trying on a strapless red mermaid dress covered in lace and little sequins that was a little more retro for this time but still sophisticated and stylish.
“I like that one too” Kei and Mei said.
“Excuse me young man” Mei said to a guy waiting for his girlfriend to come out.
“Yes ma’am.”
“We are trying to find something cute for this young lady to wear. What do you think of her dress?”
‘Very striking, my girl would never be willing to wear something like that even though she would look great in it. She would complain it was too tight. She loves flowing ballroom princess dresses”
“Thank you for your insight”
“It’s not tight at all” S’Raki commented. “I don’t know if I like this one or the red one with a short skirt better”
“Do mind young man looking at her other dress and help her choose?” Mei asked.
“I doubt my girl would mind”
S’Raki came out a little while longer. The fitted red lace dress had a short skirt halter style top with a sheer asymmetrical overskirt longer in the back and rounded at the bottom that fell to the floor even in her pretty red heels
“Here is her other dress.”
“That I think your boyfriend would love this one, miss” He smiled and winked to S’Raki. ”Aren’t you Andy’s girl?” He asked
“Yeah, my name is S’Raki”
“I’m Jayze. I just got back to Earth yesterday. I heard he finally got a girlfriend. Good for him. Please take good care of my friend. When he comes back home he has never had anybody special to help him relax, unwind and forget the worries of his job. Please be there for him and don’t let him be all alone. Everybody deserves somebody especially him.”
“I will do my best” she promised “and thanks for your help”
His girlfriend came out wearing a light blue and pale grey princess ballroom gown. She turned to S’Raki. “I would never wear anything like that. My butt is too big and boobs too small.”
“Nalla this is Andy’s girl.”
“I heard you were very pretty but you’re more beautiful in person. How long have you two known each other and how do you two know each other?”
“A while, though we don’t have the same employer, our jobs have crossed paths from time to time and I have helped him out in the past.” she says answered
“Office romance can be totally hot but can bite you if you aren’t careful” she said, thinking of a co-worker. “I think Andy will like seeing you in that.”
“That’s what I told her too” Jayze commented.
It was decided then this was going to be the dress she was getting. She went back in and changed back into her red mandarin collared dress with lotus embroidery on the right side with a miniskirt. With a cute red silk heart shaped handbag she was ready to continue her day with his aunt and grandma.
Elsewhere Andrew wondered what kind of things Mei and his grandma were telling S’Raki. Not that anything would be bad because he had always been quiet while on Earth and not getting causing any trouble but he thought about some embarrassing moments he’d rather not share. He suggested she buy some clothes to keep there and wondered what she had bought. She always wore dresses with miniskirts, short skirts, shorts and hot pants around him with boots that were mid-calf, pumps or thigh high boots. Her preferred colours were red and pink or least they were around him.
She’d come back with plenty of bags
He saw a some bags that peaked his curiosity from Madam’s. He had never because he never had a woman to shop there for or a girlfriend before. However every woman seemed to know about the store, it had a reputation of finery hidden from view in polite society. He knew there were no window displays for them and that it was always a plain unassuming building with a red door and fancy gold letters saying Madam’s.
“You’re wondering what I got didn’t you. If you are very good I might let you see one of the things I bought later”
“I’m always good” he said “Sometimes too good”
“One of the stores I have shopped at for centuries. “She smiled mischievously. “Before I met you or Max I had an ex who collected things and thought women weren’t people or even had rights. He felt it was his job to control my life, what I wore, who I could talk to, and so on. I didn’t share being a temporal with him and used the multiple affect when I was with him for the 3 Earth months we were together. Most of my past lives I didn’t share that secret with my companions. It gave me the ability to observe all different societies. Even though I left him and pissed him off I still like shopping at this store. It’s a very empowering experience. I have had a running account with them since”
“What happened?”
“I let him commit suicide. I thought with all the abuse I had to deal with it was the least I could do for him”
“You mean you altered his time to change it to where he killed himself. You won’t have to worry about that from me.”
“Really do I strike you as being that kind of woman? I know you well enough to know the kind of man you are”
“I know you’re that kind of woman but I love you despite your darker side that comes out from time to time. I’m sure Chronos came up with a new rule for you because of that”
“He doesn’t always come up with rules because I broke or bent a few”
He quickly kissed her feeling no longer caught off guard doing so.
She was getting a call via holo. It was Johnny Andrew’s dad.
“It’s your dad. Hi Johnny”
“How are you? I called to see how you were. That last mission you and Andrew on was a mess. I heard that you are giving him a chance”
“I am, Andrew sweetie, don’t look through that. I told you later”
“My mom told me to tell you welcome to the family. I will be back on Earth with Sam, Will and Emily tomorrow unless we can get there by tonight”
“You’re worried about Andrew too”
“Yes I am very worried about him. He has you but sometimes a father needs to be there for his son no matter how old his son gets. I went through a similar incident with Shadow Eyes long ago. I know it’s been a few days you have been staying with him. How is he really?”
“I’m worried about him. He isn’t sleeping or eating well and at times he’s a very clingy with me. I don’t mind the clinginess, it’s cute”
“How is Earth reacting to you?’
“They’re curious”
“It’s because Andrew has a girlfriend, You’re young, pretty and you’re not in some distant galaxy far from the eyes of Earth, the solar system or the galaxy.”
“It’s a small price to be with him”
“You’re finally admitting he’s your boyfriend”
“I’m on leave too. Chronos insisted I take time off. I took the advice of a friend and here I am. I thought since neither of are working why not as you put it give him a chance. Your son is quite tenacious and curious.”
“He loves you very much and like a perfectly trained puppy to its master, he wants to please you and doesn’t want to do anything to mess it up. If he seems too respectful, you haven’t done anything wrong just let him know that you can go a little faster. Please be patient and understanding with him.”
“I can do that”
“I will see you once I get to Earth”
She went to check on Andrew looking through her bags. “I really wanted to surprise you but its ok” she smiled
“I’m sorry I was curious and wondered what you liked. I wanted to know your size in case I wanted to get you something. You wear a lot of lace and silk.”
“That is sweet of you.” She said.
"Please forgive me but I am sorry for what I had done to you as Time Storm."
"There is no need to apologize. I was willing wasn't I"
"Yes"
"Would you like to be that intimate again?"
"I would but..."
"Andrew it was a different side of you. No need to appologize for being you no matter what side of yourself you care to show me." She said.
