Lexington lay back on the queen sized bed and cruised the net on his laptop. He was starting to like this new world. Yeah, he kind of missed his clan but he took comfort in the fact that the hatchlings that were taken to Lunfanan Hill were safe along with the two beasts and several adults who accompanied them. After all this time, they must be long dead, but at least they had a chance at life. Goliath and the others were constantly bickering over whether they should stay at the castle or find someplace else to live before Xanatos was released from prison. Lex stayed neutral on that issue and focused on exploring this new world. Particularly this one thing called the Internet. Currently, he was checking out something called "fan fiction". It was a mixed bag, but interesting, nonetheless.
Lexington had found one website dedicated to fan fiction about The Pack. Some of it was interesting. Some of it was stupid. A lot of it was very weird. Some of them were marked "Adults Only: Read only if you are 18+". Lexington decided that even without accounting for the thousand years he spent asleep, he was plenty old enough. These stories kinda freaked him out a little. They featured the Pack doing all sorts of things to each other and to "OC's", the letters used by fan fiction writers to denote that a character was their original creation. Some of the stories made Lex break out in a sweat as he flushed. Sometimes they even gave him a hard on. From reading fan fiction, he learned that's what it was called when a penis got all hard and stiff.
He re-read "At Last" by WolfysGirl81. It was pretty hot, reading about the things Jackal and Dingo did with each other. Then again, he didn't care for how WolfysGirl wrote Dingo up as being a weepy little wimp. Still, it was better than the one she wrote where he got gang raped by Evil Ninjas. And it felt a bit odd reading about Jackal in a sexual situation. He reminded Lex a bit of Brooklyn. Still, the whole thing was kinda hot. Elisa said her sister, Beth, wrote fan fiction about The Pack too. Lex read the one about Dingo and Fox going at it during a training session in the gym. They got into some positions that Lex wasn't sure were physically possible. But, it sure sounded like they were having fun.
Lex had even written and contributed a fan fic under the name Bright Dhole. He came up with the name after a little on-line research about wild dogs. After sifting through several ASPCA and animal shelter sites, he found some info on dholes. They were wild dogs from southeast Asia. They weren't very big, but they could take down tigers. Lex liked that. He wrote a short story about how the Pack defeated the Wicked Red Headed Witch with help from their clever new member, Dhole.
Lex set aside the laptop and took out the copy of Flex magazine he kept under the mattress. He had been Dumpster diving some weeks ago, marveling at the things humans just threw away, when he found a magazine with Dingo on the cover. Flex was, ostensibly, a bodybuilder's magazine. However, its readership tended to be people who liked looking at bodybuilders more than being bodybuilders. Lexington had read the interview Dingo did for the magazine. He described his exercise routine- a lot of stuff about reps and sets that Lex didn't get. He preferred Sotanax brand bulk-up formula. He was from someplace called Australia. Lexington looked that up on line. It was practically on the other side of the world. What Dingo liked most about The Pack was getting to meet fans and doing what he loved every day. Everyone else on the team was great, but the rumors about him and Fox were false.
The interview came with photos. There was one candid shot of Dingo laughing at something the interviewer said. Lex smiled every time he saw it. Of course, the centerfold was the best. Flex wanted to keep its (however shaky) reputation as a respectable publication on the subject of health and fitness, so Dingo was dressed- in a pair of skintight trunks. He was casually lounging on a weight bench, every inch of exposed flesh glimmering, showing off those hard bulges of muscle. Sure wish I had a body like that. Lex thought. He blushed at his own double entendre.
Lexington looked at the profile list that came with the photo. Dingo's hometown was Sidney. He was Australian with brown hair and brown eyes. (Like he couldn't tell from the photo.) He was 6 foot 4 and weighed 220 pounds. His sign was Aries. Lex had looked that up on-line. After reading some stuff about stars and the moon and planets going into houses, (How was a planet supposed to fit inside a house?) he learned that an Aries was someone born in late March to early April and that they were symbolized by a constellation also known as The Ram. Lex smiled when he had learned that. That meant he was an Aries too! Technically, all gargoyles were.
His "turn-ons" were enthusiasm, adventurousness and cleverness. His "turn-offs" were bossiness, rudeness and selfishness. Lex smiled. He considered himself enthusiastic, adventurous and clever. He was pretty sure he wasn't bossy, rude or selfish. He didn't like people who were like that either. In the interview, Dingo had said he was looking for someone with a few brains. Lex felt he had more than a few. He also wanted someone kind and understanding who didn't care if he was famous or not. Lex thought of himself as kind and understanding. He wasn't all that sure what fame was, so he didn't care about it.
His favorite food was barbecue. His favorite movie was Mad Max. His interests were hiking, camping and rock climbing. Lex had to have the idea of "camping" explained to him by Elisa. It struck Lex as very weird. Modern humans, even ones of modest means, had homes with luxuries a king from Lex's time would've envied. Why leave it all to sleep outside? That was what people did if they were soldiers on the move or peasants whose hut had been burned down. And hiking? Back in Lex's day, that was called "walking" and it was the only way to get from one place to another if you couldn't afford a horse. Lex smiled and looked at his talons. He understood rock climbing. Humans needed special equipment to do it, though.
Lex looked up pictures of Australia on his lap top. He found a photo of Ayer's Rock glowing orange-red under a rose and indigo sunset. There were photos of the rock a dusky russet under a pale blue sky streaked with white clouds. As much a novelty as seeing a blue sky was, Lex found himself drawn more to photos of Ayer's Rock a soft purple under a sky full of stars. If he lay back and closed his eyes, he could almost imagine himself there.
Lexington had researched this thing humans called "camping". They did it in more comfort than what would be available in the Middle Ages, with their vinyl tents and goose down sleeping bags. The campfire was still a constant, providing light, warmth and a means to cook dinner. He could imagine having a barbecue dinner with Dingo under the stars. He imagined how the firelight would flicker on his tanned face. The flickering shadows would make his brown eyes glitter like stars. Lex had read on-line that the stars over Australia were different from the way they were in more northern countries. He imagined Dingo pointing out all the new and different stars to him while letting Lex lean against his powerful chest, a beefy arm wrapped securely around him. Before long, Dingo would suggest that they "Go to bed", though clearly neither of them were tired.
The dome tent would be warm and cozy, but (oops!) they only remembered to bring one sleeping bag. Lex would say it didn't matter, since he never slept at night anyway. But Dingo would insist on sharing anyway. Sleep wasn't really what he had in mind.
He'd snuggle under the covers with him while Dingo closed it up with the zipper, forcing their bodies close together. Big, meaty hands would trail up and down his body, lightly stroking the membranes of his wings. Lex would give a small gasp of pleasure as he gripped hard shoulders with trembling hands. Dingo would nibble on his neck while stroking the inside of Lex's thigh, making Lex tremble like a leaf in the wind. The accented voice would softly promise him a world of pleasure while he was tenderly embraced.
One hand would gently cup Lex's testicles while another gripped his shaft. The upward stroke would be maddeningly slow, making Lex tremble anew as his foreskin was toyed with. Then a downward stroke coupled with a gentle squeeze on his balls. The grip on his shaft tightened. The strokes were slow but steady. Lex would beg for more, faster. He'd twist and writhe with pleasure as the hands only gradually became harder and faster. Lex would sweat and gasp as he thrust himself into the pleasuring hand. "Dingo...more!" he'd gasp.
"Easy, love." Dingo would say. "Not too much at a time. You wouldn't want to strain yourself." Even though Lex would beg for harder and faster, his pelvis bucking for action, the hands would continue their gradual pace, slowly but surely working up speed.
Eventually, they'd be there. Lex would be "feeling the burn", panting as he thrust against a pounding hand, grunting his pleasure. He was hot all over and tingling with pleasure. There was the brief tightness, than an explosion of inner joy. Lex went limp as well being flooded his body. "Anything I can do for you?" he'd whisper, stroking that light brown mohawk.
"Donuts!"
"What?"
Broadway opened the bedroom door. "Hey, Lex! Elisa just brought us some donuts! You want any? Hey, why do you have the covers over you?"
"Um....I was, uh, cold." Lex's flushed face revealed he was anything but. He was rather glad the thick comforter hid where exactly his hands were.
"Uh, yeah, sure." said Broadway. "Maybe I'll make some coffee to go with the donuts. Better come and get it quick, before Brooklyn and I eat 'em all!"
"Uh, I'll be there in a minute!" said Lex. Thankfully, Broadway left. Lex sighed as he looked at the stain he left on the sheets. Well, no one need know. He shut the laptop and let it sleep on the nightstand. He took some deep breaths to calm himself down. He'd stop and wash his hands on the way down. Broadway wouldn't guess what he had really been doing, would he?
Time to eat the donuts. Lex told himself.
