As the fairies headed for the table where the Trix sat the song playing switched to Paralyzer by Finger Eleven. When they arrived Icy gave them a pleasant smile concealing just a hint of mockery.
"Well look who's here. What a pleasant surprise." Darcy followed Icy's lead. "What brings you ladies here on such a fine evening?" Musa made a sweeping motion with her arm. "Cut the crap. We're wise to your tricks this time. You won't fool us the same way twice." Icy wasn't quite sure what the music fairy was talking about but she wasn't about to let that stop her from having fun needling her. She placed a hand to her breast modestly. "Why whatever do you mean?" Darcy leaned back to rest one elbow on the back of her chair. "We're just here to enjoy the ambiance and do a little dancing. Maybe get laid if we're lucky." Musa slammed her hands down on the table and leaned forward. "Do you really think we're that gullible? I wanna know just what the hell you witches are up to!" Flora placed a hand on her friend's left shoulder. "Musa..." Layla grasped the dark-haired fairy's right arm. "Calm down girl." Darcy frowned. This game was getting old fast. "We already told you. We're just here to have a little fun." Icy smirked and leaned forward as though preparing to stand up. "But if you're volunteering to be tonight's entertainment..." She was surprised to feel a hand clamp down on her left arm. Glancing to her left she discovered that it was Stormy holding her back. The storm witch glowered at her warningly. "Knock it off Icy. We didn't come here for this." As Icy shook her off Stormy turned her scowl on Musa. "I don't care what you pixies think, just think it somewhere else. We were here first and if you don't like it you can just leave. I don't wanna fight you here. I happen to like this club and I'd hate to have to trash it because someone got me banned from ever coming back. So get lost." Musa was caught a little off guard by Stormy's brusque dismissal, but by the time the storm witch had finished speaking the music fairy had rewritten her assessment of the situation and had her comeback ready. "Oh, you'd like that, wouldn't you? Think you can chase us off just like that? Just like you chased me all over Magix? Well we're not going anywhere! We're here to party and you three are not gonna ruin our good time." Darcy gave a challenging smirk. "Well then by all means, stick around." Picking up on Darcy's intent and smoldering with the desire to put Stormy back in her place, Icy gestured toward the three empty seats across the table from them. "Please, do sit down and join us. Having you three fairies around should prove to be quite entertaining." Musa stabbed a finger in the white-haired witch's direction. "We're not here for your entertainment witch!" Layla put her left arm around Musa's waist and planted her right hand on her own hip. "That's right. We came to party down, and that's just what we intend to do." Icy grinned darkly. "Then by all means, let us help you kick the night off right. First round's on us." Flora gave her two friends a worried look. "I don't think we should really-" Musa cut her off. "You're on!" Layla held her hand out toward the three witches with her index finger raised. "Excuse us for a moment." Spinning Musa around the other way she turned around herself and leaned in to whisper to her confidentially. "What're you doing girl? We can't hang out with them." The look the music fairy gave the colored girl was filled with determination. "Don't you get it Layla? That wasn't just an invitation just now. That was a challenge. They're daring us to take them up on their offer." Layla shrugged. "So we just won't accept their dare." Musa shook her head stubbornly. "We can't do that. Look, if we don't accept it that'll be taken as either a snub, or worse, as us backing down from their challenge. If we snub them this whole evening is gonna devolve into a battle and we came here to take a break from all that, but if we back down we're gonna look like a bunch of cowards, and that'll just embolden them to do way worse than they've been doing already. The way I see it we don't have a choice. We've gotta accept their invitation, at least long enough to show we're not afraid of them. After that we can take off on our own without either looking like cowards or snubbing them." Layla frowned. "So you're saying our choices are provoke a fight, let them chase us off, or spend time with them on purpose?" Having listened in on the whispered conversation, Flora voiced her own concerns "I don't think I like any of those options." Musa shook her head. "Neither do I, but that's what we've got. So what's it gonna be?" Layla glanced over her shoulder at the three witches, who seemed to be engrossed in their own debate. "This is gonna be one long evening." While the three fairies turned away to discuss their decision, Stormy leaned toward Icy to whisper angrily. "Just what the hell do you think you're doing, inviting those fairies to sit with us?" The ice witch draped an arm around Stormy's shoulders. "Relax. This'll be fun." The storm witch gave a soft growl. "Hrr... The only 'fun' I ever have with fairies is kicking their sorry butts, and that's not what I came here for tonight." Darcy leaned in to drape an arm around Stormy from the other side. "Don't worry. There's not gonna be any fighting here tonight, but with any luck there will be plenty of action." Stormy gave her a puzzled look which quickly changed to a look of shocked surprise. "You're not... With fairies?! Are you crazy? That's disgusting! Besides, they'd never go for that." Icy gave the poofy-haired witch a smug look. "Oh, I don't know about that. Darcy and I can be very persuasive when we wanna be. Trust me. By the end of the night we're gonna have those fairies eating right out of our hands." Darcy gave the storm witch a meaningful wink. "Not to mention points farther south." Icy stabbed a finger at Stormy's chest with a warning look. "Just don't mess this up for us or I promise you there will be a fight here tonight." Stormy shook both girls' arms off her shoulders and folded her arms in a sullen grump. "Hrmph. Fine. Whatever. Go ahead and play your stupid little perverted games. Just remember, if things go south I'm gonna bury you both in this place." The three fairies turned back around to face the witches. Layla held out her hand toward them. "Alright. Looks like we'll be taking you up on your offer." Darcy grinned at her. "Excellent." Icy waved a hand at the seats across the table from them. "Have a seat ladies." With just a hint of trepidation the three fairies sat down with their worst enemies, Layla next to Darcy, Musa across from Stormy, and Flora on the other end next to Icy. Icy planted her elbows on the table and bridged her fingers, staring over them with a predatory gleam in her eye. "There, now isn't this nice? We spend so much time trying to destroy each other we never really get the chance to just sit and chat like this." Musa scowled at her. "Gee, imagine that. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that we don't usually sit around chit-chatting with psychopaths. Ow!" She rubbed at her right shin and turned a surprised look at Layla, who had just kicked her under the table. The dark-skinned girl was frowning as she hissed at her in a whispered voice. "Are you trying to provoke a fight?" Musa half-frowned defensively. "Hey, I'm just sayin'." Layla pointed a finger at her. "Well don't. You're the one who wanted to make nice with these witches to avoid making a scene, so just be cool. Okay?" Flora leaned forward and held out her hand in an offering gesture. "Do you three come here often?" Darcy gave back a mild smirk. "Stormy evidently comes here a lot but this is Icy's and my first time. How about you girls?" Layla shook her head. "First time all around for us." Stormy scowled across the table at the three fairies. "Where's the rest of your fairy friends and your little pixie pals?" Musa leaned back in her chair and waved her hand casually. "Back at Alfea covering for us so we don't get busted for sneaking out." Icy folded her hands and rested her chin on her wrists as she grinned at them. "Quite the little rules breakers, aren't you? Remind you of anyone Darcy?" The dark witch grinned back at the white-haired girl. "Sure does. I remember the three of us used to be hell on wheels back before we rose to the top of the heap and became Miss Griffin's favorites." Icy lowered one arm and waved the other hand as if sweeping aside the past. "Of course that's all water under the bridge. These days we work for ourselves." Musa leaned forward to point at her. "You mean you work for Baltor." Stormy raised her fists and leaned forward aggressively. "Hey! Nobody orders us around!" Musa smirked at her. "Sure. That's why Baltor winds up with all the cool spells and you all get stuck with whatever scraps he decides to toss your way." Stormy started growling but Darcy stopped her with a hand on her wrist. "Easy. Don't cause a scene." Icy leaned one elbow on the table. "As fascinating as your little viewpoint on what we do is we all came here to enjoy ourselves tonight, so maybe we can save the shop talk for another time?" At that point the previous song ended and Britney Spears' Toxic started playing. Darcy leaned forward with a challenging grin. "So. We offered to buy you girls a round of drinks. What's your poison?" Musa, Layla and Flora exchanged uncertain glances. It was Musa who said what they were all thinking. "Uh, we're not technically old enough to drink. I mean, don'tcha gotta be twenty-one to order booze?" Icy smirked back at them. "That's why we'll be ordering for you. So come on ladies. What'll you have?" Flora lowered her head with a hesitant look. "I don't think we really should..." Stormy folded her arms over her chest and leaned back in her chair. "Bunch a wimps. Too chicken to have a little drink." Layla held her hand up to the side. "Fine then. I'll have a beer." Musa glanced at her in surprise. "Layla, are you serious?" Icy leaned forward with a smug grin. "Gotta admit, I didn't think any of you would have the guts. Your friend is a lot braver than the two of you." Musa frowned and folded her arms on the table. "Okay, fine. Beer me." Darcy grinned brightly. "Way to go sport." She turned her gaze on Flora. "So how about you? Beers all around?" The flower fairy shook her head. "None for me thanks." Icy leaned right to put herself closer to the nature fairy. "What's the matter? You the designated driver?" Flora shook her head. "I just don't want to drink alcohol, that's all." Stormy leaned forward to point at the sun-bleached brunette. "What'sa matter? You gonna punk out on us?" Musa laid her fist on the table and leaned forward. "Hey! Back off witch!" Layla gave a firm nod and a serious frown. "Yeah. She doesn't have to drink if she doesn't want to." Icy help up her hands placatingly. "Now now girls. There's no reason for this to get ugly." She turned a fake smile on the tan-skinned fairy. "How about something with a little kick to it instead? Care for a Red Bull?" Flora gave a hesitant nod. "I guess that'd be alright." Icy grinned at Darcy. "Two beers and a Red Bull special then." Realizing she'd been nominated as the drink girl, the dark witch stood up. "No problem. Anybody wanna come with?" Layla stood up as well. "I'll go." Darcy stepped over beside Layla, put an arm around her and turned her toward the bar. "Right this way then." The dark-skinned girl caught Musa's eye and nodded before being led off to the bar. As they stopped in line behind two guys who were evidently getting drinks for their dates she turned her attention toward Darcy. "Okay, just between you and me Darcy, why are you guys being so nice to us tonight? It feels like a setup." Darcy gave her an enigmatic smile. "Just between you and me? It is." The admission shocked Layla, knocking her back a step. "Wait, what? Did you just tell me I'm right?" Darcy clasped her hands behind her back and thrust out one hip. "Why not? It's not like you didn't suspect as much already, and it doesn't put you any closer to figuring out what we're setting you up for." Layla scowled at her. "You think we won't figure out what you're up to?" Darcy gave her an impish smirk. "Actually I'm rather hoping you do, because if you leave here not knowing what we're after that'll mean we didn't get it." Layla squinted one eye and tilted her head slightly, looking at her askance. "Just what kind of game are you playing at Darcy? Do you seriously think we won't stop you from getting what you're after?" With a faintly naughty grin Darcy ducked down a little and flowed forward to come back up well within the radius of Layla's personal space. She reached out her left hand to trail a finger ever so lightly along the underside of the black girl's jaw. "If we play our cards right I'm hoping we can convince you to want to give us what we're after." Layla's nostrils flared and her back stiffened at this intrusion. "And why would we ever want to give you anything?" Darcy turned her back on the water fairy and smiled deviously back over her shoulder at her. "Because when you give us what we want you'll also get it back from us as well." Layla planted her hands on her hips and frowned. "Okay, now I know you're just messing with me. That made no sense at all." Darcy moved to stand next to her and placed her hand on Layla's opposite shoulder. "Of course I'm messing with you, and I plan on messing with you a lot more tonight, but every word I've just told you is the absolute truth. Let's just see if you're a clever enough fairy to figure it out." Dropping her hand to the black girls ass she gave her a little push forward. "Looks like we're up." Indeed, the two boys ahead of them had gotten their drinks and were turning to leave. Layla gave the enchantress a baffled look as the two of them stepped up to place their order. The bartender grinned broadly at the dark witch. "Well hello again beautiful. Who's your friend?" Darcy smiled back and gestured toward Layla. "Hey there Tony. This is Layla, and she's not exactly my friend. She's an Alfea fairy, not a witch like me and my sisters." Tony held out his hand toward the water fairy. "It's lovely to meet you Layla, whatever your relationship to your companion here." The black girl accepted the proffered handshake with a friendly smile. "Nice to meet you too Tony. As for my relationship to her, let's just say my friends and I are hanging out with her and her sisters in an effort to defuse any potential unpleasantness before it starts." Darcy gave the bartender a mischievous smirk. "While my sisters and I are taking advantage of the situation hoping to start some pleasantness." While Layla turned a baffled look on the dark witch Tony chuckled. "Sounds like you girls have an interesting evening ahead of you. Should things turn south and that unpleasantness break out after all though you can count on seeing me again. I'm not just a bartender. I'm also part of the security detail around here. Any unpleasantness starts up, I step in and stop it. Now, what can I get you girls?" Darcy leaned on the counter with one arm. "Layla and her friends would like a Red Bull special and two Buds." Tony grinned at her knowingly. "One Red Bull special and two Buds, coming right up." As he turned away to prepare the drinks Layla gave Darcy a puzzled look. "Why does everyone keep calling it a Red Bull special? It's just a can of Red Bull, isn't it?" The enchantress turned and leaned back against the counter, putting herself on prominent display. "It's called a special because in places that serve alcohol non-alcoholic beverages are kind of a special order." She glanced back over her shoulder and winked surreptitiously at the bartender as he turned back around with their drinks. "Isn't that right Tony?" Tony grinned as he set a glass of fizzing amber liquid and two frothing mugs of beer on the counter. "True enough. Here's your drinks ladies." After paying for the drinks Darcy picked up the two mugs of beer. "Thanks again Tony. Catch you later." Layla grabbed the Red bull and together the two girls headed back to the table. On the way Layla gave Darcy a puzzled and suspicious look. "What was all that back there about starting some pleasantness?" Darcy gave a playful smirk. "All part of the mystery." Layla frowned at that. "I don't like it when you're being mysterious. I don't trust you." Darcy's smirk turned into a grin. "That's fine. I don't really care much if you trust me right now, just as long as I'm keeping your interest." Layla didn't have time to ask what Darcy meant by that as they arrived back at the table. She maneuvered between Musa and Flora to give the flower fairy her drink. She glanced at the music fairy. "So how are things going here?" Musa held up one hand palm-up. "Things could be worse. It's weird, but Icy's not half bad company when she's trying to be nice. She keeps giving Flora these really weird looks though." Darcy sat down beside her in the chair Layla had vacated, handing the pig-tailed girl her beer before swapping the other beer for the remnants of her mai tai. "Glad to hear you've been enjoying yourselves." While Musa stared at the enchantress and said "Uuuuhh..." Layla put one hand on her hip and held the other one out toward the dark witch. "Hey! I was sitting there!" Darcy shrugged and sipped her drink. "And now you're sitting over there. Funny how that works out." Layla frowned as she moved around to take the remaining seat. "Great. So now I get to sit next to Miss Congeniality." Stormy scowled at the dark-skinned girl as she sat down. "Bite me." She grabbed Layla's beer and shoved her mai tai over to take its place. Layla's eyes and mouth opened wide in outraged disbelief. "Hey!" Stormy glared at her challengingly. "What? I haven't touched it. I don't really care for mai tais that much. I'd rather just drink beer." Layla frowned as she picked up the mai tai. "Would it have killed you to ask first? Jeeze! First Darcy steals my seat then you steal my drink. What, am I wearing a sign that says 'Please steal my stuff' tonight?" Musa shook her head. "Guess this is what comes from hanging out with a trio of power-hungry witches." She pushed her own beer across the table toward the water fairy. "Here. I'll trade ya." Layla looked at her questioningly. "You sure?" Musa gave her a nod. "It's fine. I'm kinda curious to find out what a mai tai tastes like anyway." The trade was made and Musa took a sip. Darcy leaned in with an expectant look. "So whadda ya think?" The music fairy shrugged. "It's interesting. Got a complex mix of flavors. It's hard to pick out specific ones. I think I taste lime? A little on the warm side though." Icy held out her hand toward Musa. "Here. Allow me." Musa looked at her a little uncertainly. "Uh, okay?" She handed over the drink. Icy held the glass in one hand and focused her gaze on it for a moment. As she did a faint mist of condensation formed on the glass. She held the drink toward Musa again. "Here. Try it now." Musa accepted the glass back and took a sip. "Hey! Nicely chilled. That's a pretty cool trick. Thanks Icy." The ice witch held up a cautioning finger. "Call me Beth for tonight." Musa cocked an eyebrow as her. "Um, okay. Why exactly?" Darcy swirled her beverage in its glass. "Everyone in Magix knows what we did to this town a couple years back but they're more familiar with our names than our faces, so to keep people from flipping out about us being here we're using our real names tonight since those aren't so well known. She's Bethany, shortened to Beth, and she's Amanda." Flora looked at Icy and Stormy as Darcy pointed at them, then looked back at Darcy. "So what should we call you tonight?" The dark witch gave a shrug. "Darcy's just fine. It's my real name anyway, and it's common enough not to raise any eyebrows on its own." Layla stroked her chin with a thoughtful look. "Huh. I guess it never occurred to me that you guys might be going by fake names." Stormy scowled at her. "They're not fake. They're just our chosen names rather than our given names, that's all." Musa lowered an eyebrow. "Is it normal for witches to choose a different name than the one they're born with?" Icy leaned forward and folded her arms on the table. "Pretty much. Some like me choose a new name before they even get to Cloud Tower. Others like Amanda here wait too long and get labeled by others. But Darcy here was a rebel. She chose to stick with her given name. She took a lot of flack for that choice but she stuck by her decision and made people respect it." Darcy lifted her right hand palm-up. "My name already suited me better than anything else I could have come up with so I figured why change it? Let everyone else adjust. You just don't mess with perfection." Icy grinned at her. "That's our Darcy. Nobody pushes you around." She stretched her arm across the table toward the enchantress. Darcy grinned back at her and reached out to clasp hands with the ice witch, palms together, fingers interlaced. Flora gasped at the sight. "Oh my goodness!" Beside her, Musa seemed equally stunned by the display. "Whoa!" Across the table from her, Stormy rolled her eyes. "Damn it. I hate it when they get like this." Layla stared at the joined hands for a moment in surprise, then her eyes rose to seek out Musa and she gave her a little grin. Musa ducked her head in embarrassment but grinned back, recalling with fondness the night the two of them had shared together the year before when she had stayed over at Layla's dorm and the two of them had made love. Now Layla was Musa's full-time roommate but the two of them had never repeated the events of that night, preferring to remain best friends and focus their romantic interests on boys. Still, the memory of that night they had shared was one they would always treasure. The look exchanged did not escape notice however. Darcy glanced at each one with just her eyes so as not to make her interest too obvious and grinned even more intensely. She might not be aware of all the intimate details but the connection between the two fairies was quite self-evident and the circumstances put it in a very definite context. She was going to have fun with this! Icy also took note of the reaction of the two fairies to her hand-holding with Darcy. One look at the enchantress' face revealed to her exactly what was on Darcy's mind. About then another new song started. The change in the beat drew Musa's attention immediately. She smiled as she recognized the tune. "Oh hey! I like this song." Darcy released Icy's hand and turned a curious gaze on the music fairy. "Doesn't sound familiar to me. Is it new?" Musa shook her head and laughed. "Ha ha! No way is it new! This here's an eighties song. It's older than all of us!" Icy smirked at her sister witch. "And you thought 'Get This Party Started' was an oldie!" Darcy stuck her nose up in the air. "It is. This song is just ancient." Musa gave a lop-sided grin. "It's not ancient. It's a classic, and one I think you might appreciate. This song is called Poison and it's by Alice Cooper. It's all about this girl the singer is hopelessly attracted to even though she's too toxic to touch." Darcy raised an eyebrow at her. "'Alice'? Kind of a deep scratchy voice for a girl." The music fairy smirked back at her. "Just like you've got really long hair for a guy, 'Darcy'." The enchantress glared at Musa. Stormy looked confused. "What's that supposed to mean?" Icy rolled her eyes at the storm witch. "Darcy is traditionally a guy's name, though it has been seeing a lot of use as a girl's name in recent decades. On the other hand I've never heard of a guy named Alice before." Musa shrugged. "Well now you have." She pushed back her chair and stood up. "Anyway, I'm gonna go dance. Anybody else?" Darcy turned her head away. "I'll pass." Layla stood up. "Well I'm going." Stormy took another swig of her beer. "No thanks. This song is lame." Flora looked decidedly uncomfortable. "I don't think this is really my kind of song." Icy gave her a challenging grin. "It's not exactly my kind of music either, but I wanna dance. Why don't we both give it a try? We can go watch each other make fools of ourselves while we wait for a better song to come along." Flora took another sip of her Red Bull and giggled. "Hm hm! Okay. I guess that sounds like fun." Layla and Musa exchanged amazed looks. Flora and Icy dancing together? Icy volunteering to make a fool of herself? This was turning out to be one very strange evening so far. As the four girls headed out on the dance floor Stormy looked at Darcy. "Guess that just leaves me and you, huh?" Darcy stood up. "Actually that just leaves you." Stormy gave her a surprised look. "Hey! Where are you going? I thought you didn't wanna dance to this song." Darcy gave her a slight smirk. "Something interesting is going on between Musa and Layla, and I'm going to go give it a little nudge." Her smirk turned to a frown. "Besides, you're being a real downer tonight. I don't exactly wanna be stuck spending my evening with you." Stormy slammed both hands down on the table and half rose from her seat. "It's not my fault you and Icy decided to start these perverted lesbian games! I don't go for that crap!" Darcy folded her arms. "Fine, but that doesn't mean you have to be such a baby about it. Look, the way I see it you've got three options here. One, you can sit around and sulk all night. Two, you can give this perverted lesbian crap a shot. Or three, you can forget about the rest of us and go do whatever it is you'd do if you were here by yourself. It's up to you, but I know which one I'd choose in your place." Stormy settled back in her chair to glower sullenly at her sister witch. "Well duh. You'd jump right into the lesbian crap. But I'm not you. I don't do girls." Darcy shrugged and waved a hand in the air dismissively. "Then go find some guys to do, or whatever. Just don't use us as an excuse to not have fun. We're not here to keep you from having a good time 'Amanda', so don't blame us if you choose to be miserable." With that she turned and walked off into the crowd. Stormy just sat stewing over the things Darcy had said to her. Moments later a guy came strolling up to the table. He stopped and stood over her with a big cheesy smirk. "Hey there doll face. You looking for a good time?" Stormy jerked her thumb over her shoulder in a sharply dismissive gesture. "Beat it creep. I'm not in the mood." The guy leaned in close, propping an arm on the table. "Aw, don't be like that baby. What's your sign?" Stormy glared up at him and raised her fist, surrounding it with an electrical corona. "My sign? It's 'Danger! High Voltage! Mayhem, Bodily Injury and Death May Ensue!'" The guy raised both hands defensively and backed away. "Hey, right, no problem. Maybe I'll catch you some other time when you're not PMSing." Stormy seriously considered blasting the guy as he turned and walked off into the crowd, but instead she simply allowed the electrical charge around her fist to dissipate and put her head down on the table. After a few seconds she sat up, chugged the rest of her beer and wandered off toward the bar in search of more. =*=*=*=*= Darcy moved through the crowd, searching the dance floor for her targets. Stopping to give Stormy advice she probably wouldn't follow anyway had cost her valuable time and she had lost track of the two fairies. She briefly considered climbing in one of the four dance cages at the corners of the dance floor to get a better view but decided against it as she didn't want to be spotted herself. Anyway she had enough of an idea where they would want to go to form an organized search pattern. Though both Musa and Layla were serious extroverts the look they had exchanged meant they would be in a more private mood than usual, so they would avoid both the edges of the dance floor where they could be seen by non-dancers and the center where show-offs went looking for attention from their fellow dancers. Instead they would lose themselves in the off-center interior where the crowd would be thickest. She came across Icy and Flora first. Icy's white-haired high pony was what first alerted Darcy to her proximity. She found the two dancing separately but facing each other. The press of the crowd didn't permit them a whole lot of room between them but Flora was evidently taking what she could get without becoming separated from the ice witch. As Darcy passed behind the flower fairy she uttered a quiet spell, too faint for anyone else to hear over the loud music. "Each time you gaze into icy blue eyes your fever will mount, your temperature rise." It was a mild fascination spell that used metabolic manipulation to help induce feelings of desire by making the subject feel warmer when looking into a certain person's eyes. Darcy gave the ice witch a wink as she passed by and received a grin in return. It wouldn't take Icy long to figure out what she'd done and capitalize on it to aid her seduction of the flower fairy. Meanwhile Darcy continued her search and was soon rewarded by the sight of a dark-limbed beauty dancing in the midst of the mostly white bread crowd. As she closed in she also spotted Musa dancing with the water fairy much as Flora was with Icy, only noticeably closer together. The two seemed to be engaged in half-shouted conversation as they danced, trying to be heard over the music without being overheard by their neighbors. Mere inches separated the two, a gap which Darcy intended to close before the song ended. A wicked grin broke out on her face. "What this scene needs to bring these two closer together is a bigger crowd. Fortunately I know right where to get one." Taking a quick look around to be sure nobody was watching her, she placed her hands together in front of her and closed her eyes in concentration. Three black silhouettes split off from her, inserting themselves into nearby gaps in the crowd before solidifying into perfect copies of the dark witch. Each of the three copies in turn generated another copy in similar fashion, resulting in six copies plus the original. With a smirk she quickly dispersed herselves into the crowd, each one moving to take up a post somewhere near the two dancing fairies until she had them completely surrounded. Once all of her copies were in place they began gradually edging the crowd in closer and closer around the pair, forcing them to dance closer together as their available space dwindled. =*=*=*=*= When they had first stepped out on the floor Musa and Layla had positioned themselves where they could keep an eye on Icy and Flora. The way the ice witch seemed fixated on the flower fairy disturbed them, and the way Flora responded to the attention didn't do anything to reassure them. Their intent had been to watch over Flora and see to it that Icy didn't try anything funny, but as they danced and talked both their conversation and their position had drifted gradually farther away from the pair. It had begun with Musa glancing at the white-haired witch's back and shaking her head. "It's freaky the way Ic- I mean 'Beth' is practically fawning over Flora. What do you suppose she's up to?" Layla cupped a hand to her ear, trying to make out what her friend was saying over the music. "What?!" Musa leaned in closer and raised her voice a notch. "I said what do you think 'Beth' is up to?!" Layla shook her head. "Hard to say, but those three witches want something from us! Darcy told me so!" Musa's eyebrows rose at this news. "She did?! Why would she tell you that?!" Layla spread her hands. "She said they wouldn't get what they wanted unless we figured it out! Then she expects us to just give it to them!" The music fairy's eyes went wide. "She does?!? That's crazy! Why would we ever give them anything?" The dark-skinned girl gave a shrug. "She said if we did they'd give it back to us!" Musa shook her head. "Like we'd ever believe something that farfetched!" Layla nodded. "I know! That's what I told her!" Musa held up one hand palm-up. "Any idea what they want from us?!" As Layla held up both hands and shrugged the song blared forth the line "I wanna taste you but your lips are venomous poison!" "I'm not sure but Darcy was acting pretty weird the whole time! Almost flirty!" Musa gave her a strange look. "Flirty?! Why would Darcy wanna flirt with you?!" Layla shrugged. "I'm not sure, but it sure looks like she and 'Beth' are lesbians! Remember the way they locked eyes and held hands across the table earlier?!" Musa nodded and grinned. "Sure do! Remind you of anyone?!" Layla moved in closer to place one hand lightly on Musa's shoulder and the other on her hip as they danced. "Sure does! Sometimes I really envy Riven! I hope he realizes just how lucky he is to have you!" Musa's eye were shining with a mixture of strong, mostly-positive emotions as she reached to touch her friend's face. "Baby, you and me were never meant to be, but I'm always here for ya until you find that special someone who's out there somewhere just waiting for you!" Layla nuzzled her cheek into her friend's hand and gave her a soft, sad smile. "Well I just hope whoever it is doesn't turn out to be some creepy stalker type who lies to me about who he is just to get me to like him!" Musa shook her head and grinned at her friend's imagination. "Yeah, right! Like what are the odds of that?" Layla unconsciously slid her arms farther around her friend's body and pulled her in closer. "As long as I've got friends like you at my side I don't need any guy, especially some stuffed shirt prince my parents arranged for me to marry without my consent!" Musa nodded as she gazed at her roommate's face. It had been something of a shock for them all to learn that not only did Layla's parents, the King and Queen of Tides, believe in arranged marriages but they had already lined up a future husband for her. Someone like Flora might have meekly gone along with such a thing, but Layla was the most self-reliant and independent member of their group. She wasn't taking the news lying down, and all of her friends supported her stance against the marriage. The music fairy couldn't help wondering how much of her decision to go out tonight had been motivated by her rebellion against her parents' high-handed decision. Just then a guy backed into Musa from the side. She turned her head to look at him. "Hey! Careful there!" The guy glanced back over his shoulder at her. "Sorry about that!" As she turned away Musa thought she caught a glimpse of straight brown hair and bleached blond bangs behind him, but it was gone again before she could sure. Glancing around she noticed that the open space around them had almost completely closed up as nearby dancers were crowded in around them much more tightly than before. She looked back at Layla. "Hey, is it just me or did it get a lot more crowded out here in the last couple of minutes?!" Layla shrugged and drew the music fairy up against her body. "All the more reason to dance as close as possible I guess!" Musa was startled to feel a hand gently stroke her ass through her skirt and jeans combo. She placed her hands on the black girl's chest and pushed back from her. "Layla, you know we can't do this! We agreed that night we shared was just a one-time deal! Besides, it wouldn't be fair to Riven!" She took another look around, as much to avoid the crestfallen look on her friend's face as anything, and noticed that Flora and Icy were no longer in sight. "Anyway, it looks like we lost track of Flora and Icy- I mean Beth! Dammit! She is so not a Beth!" That drew a giggle from the water fairy. "I know what you mean! She makes a better Bethany than a Beth!" Musa looked back at her friend again. The pain was still there in her eyes but at least she was smiling. "Anyway, I think we better go look for Flora! I have a bad feeling I may know what the Trix want with us!" Layla's eyes blinked open wider with surprise. "Really?! What's that?!" Musa locked her gaze on her friend's face. "That hand-holding scene, Darcy flirting with you, and now 'Beth' sticking to Flora like glue, it all adds up to one thing in my mind! Those three are trying to sedummph!" Layla was stunned when Musa unexpectedly lunged forward and mashed her lips to hers. Musa herself was nearly as surprised when someone's ass collided with hers, sending her toppling forward to lock lips with the water fairy. Neither saw the Darcy clone who butt-bumped Musa give a mischievous sneer before fading out of existence. All either one really knew was that they were suddenly and unexpectedly engaged in a forceful kiss as the words "I don't wanna break these chains!" blared forth from the speakers. Passions each had been fighting to keep in check came rushing to the surface as their arms moved to encircle one another and their kiss deepened. As the music trailed off there came the sound of cheers, whistles and applause from the crowd all around them. Breaking off their kiss the two fairies looked around to discover that they were suddenly the center of attention. A bit of a gap had opened up around them again as every guy in the area and several of the girls cheered them on. Musa's cheeks tinged red as she waved at the crowd with a big 'Glad you liked it!' smile. "Thanks a lot folks! Next show's in half an hour!" Scattered laughter greeted this announcement, mingled with more whistles and whoots. The two fairies walked off with an arm around each other, waving and responding to the occasional high five as they passed through the surrounding crowd to reach the anonymity of a part of the dance floor which hadn't just witnessed their kiss. Layla gave a nervous laugh. "Heh! Boy, was that embarrassing! I don't mind being the center of attention when I'm putting on a show, but not when I'm kissing someone!" Musa flashed her a smile. "I hear ya!" Layla quirked an eyebrow at her. "What was all that about 'next show in half an hour'?!" Musa shrugged and spread her hands. "Just forestalling any potential calls for an encore!" At that moment she took notice of the new song that had started playing and pulled a face. "Um, this song isn't really my speed! Wanna sit this one out?" Layla glanced around. "What about Flora?!" The music fairy looked around as well. "Still no sign of her! I hate to leave her alone with that witch but I don't think we're gonna find her in this crowd! We can't even be sure she's even still dancing! Let's head back to the table! If she's not there waiting for us one of us can stay to wait for her while the other one transforms and searches from the air!" Layla gave a nod. "Sounds good! It'll be quieter there too, so we won't have to half shout at each other to be heard! Maybe we'll be able to think of a better plan for finding her that way!" She offered Musa her hand. With a mildly embarrassed grin the music fairy accepted and the pair headed back to their table hand-in-hand. =*=*=*=*= While Darcy was talking to Stormy about not spending the night miserable, Icy and Flora got out on the dance floor and started dancing. Holding her loosely closed hands up at shoulder height, Flora found that the beat of the song lent itself to a measured side-to-side swaying motion. She tried not to stare at the white-haired witch but Icy's dance seemed designed to draw her gaze like a magnet as she let her arms flow through the air with each sway. When the chorus came up Icy stepped in closer and weaved her hands through the air around the flower fairy as though wanting to touch her all over but not quite allowing herself to do so. The possessiveness in those icy blue eyes made Flora close her eyes and shudder, thus missing the moment when Icy glanced at someone behind her and grinned. She paid no heed to the slight tingling that passed over her body at that time, chalking it up to the strange feelings she was experiencing from the icy witch's attentions. When she opened her eyes and gazed back into Icy's cold blue eyes she felt a sensation of spreading warmth all over her body. What was happening to her? Was Icy casting some sort of spell over her? If so it must be entirely non-verbal as the nature fairy had yet to see or hear a single word emerge from Icy's mouth since they came out on the floor. Seeking reassurance that she was not alone with the white-haired witch she glanced over in the direction she last remembered seeing Layla and Musa dancing earlier, only to realize that she and Icy no longer seemed to be where the had been before and that her two friends were nowhere in sight. She realized too late that every time Icy had advanced upon her during the song she had responded by backing away, allowing the white-haired witch to herd her away from her friends. Now she was alone on the dance floor, surrounded by strangers, in the company of one of her worst enemies. Looking back at Icy she caught the witch's gaze upon her and stared into those cold blue eyes, feeling as she did so an unaccountable rise in her body heat and the quickening of her breath. How had she never noticed before tonight just how beautiful the ice witch was? The nature fairy could hardly believe it but she found herself wanting to touch the pale beauty before her and be touched by her in return. This was all wrong. She was not attracted to Icy! At least she never had been before. In fact she had more than ample reason to hate her. After all, it was Icy and her sisters who had turned Mirta into a pumpkin a couple of years ago. In fact Icy had been the very one to cast that vile spell. If there was one among them that she should hate more than the others it was Icy. Yet the main thing she felt when she looked at the white-haired witch was the heat of the dance floor. As the frigid beauty swayed seductively to the rhythm of the music the flower fairy could almost imagine that Icy was dancing just for her. Could the ice witch be trying to seduce her? That would be absurd! The two of them were enemies, with nothing in common except reasons to hate each other. Besides, both of them knew that she was straight, with a gorgeous, loving boyfriend. There was no chance of her falling for Icy even if the ice witch did decide to make a pass at her. It was such a silly notion that she giggled and gave a little twirl to fling it away. As she came back around her eyes followed the motion of one of Icy's hands across her eyes and locked with her gaze. A sudden flash of heat combined with the motion of her spin brought on a moment of dizziness which caused her to stagger and sway unsteadily. Instantly the ice witch closed in, placing one hand on her shoulder and the other around her waist to steady her. Her touch was shockingly cool, causing Flora to gasp in surprise, but as the girl's hands remained touching her fevered flesh they quickly brought with them a measure of relief from the sweltering heat out on the floor. So focused was she on the feel of Icy's cooling touch that she failed to realize just how close the ice witch was standing to her until she spoke. "Are you alright there Flora?!" Flora looked up to meet her icy blue gaze and felt her cheeks grow unaccountably warmer. "I'm... I'm fine. I just-" Icy interrupted with a shake of her head. "Speak up! I can't hear you over the music! Don't just squeak at me like a little mouse!" It really wasn't in the flower fairy's nature to be loud but she did her best to raise her voice over the music. "I said I'm fine! I just felt dizzy for a moment, that's all! It's a bit too warm in here for me, that's all!" Icy smirked. She knew full well just how warm Darcy's spell would be making the nature fairy. It was a familiar hunting tactic the two of them had employed numerous times before when out prowling for fresh meat. She also knew that the overheating of the fairy's flesh would have her craving Icy's cooling touch. There were definite angles to be exploited when one was elementally aligned with cold, ice and snow. She pulled in marginally closer, brushing her knee against Flora's. "Is it?! I hadn't noticed! My powers make me a natural heat sink! Things have to get a lot warmer than this to make me lose my cool!" Flora couldn't help but shiver a little at the accidental contact between their legs. She found herself wrapping her arms around the girl's deliciously cool body and drawing herself in tighter to the white-haired blue-eyed beauty. She was glad Icy was there and that she didn't seem to mind cuddling with her. It was as though the ice witch was just made for situations like this. She couldn't seem to help giggling at Icy's pun. "Hm hm hm! I'm glad you're here! It's so hot I can barely stand to keep my clothes on!" A wicked smile spread itself across the ice queen's face. "So why don't you go ahead and take them off?!" A look of surprise blossomed on Flora's face. Take her clothes off? No! That would be wrong... for some reason... It was so hard to think why at the moment. Why was it so hard to think? She didn't really want to think just now anyway. She was here to have fun. But she knew she shouldn't take her clothes off. She shook her head. "Take my clothes off?! Oh, I couldn't do that!" She was disappointed when she felt Icy remove the hand from her shoulder to gesture at the crowd around them. "Oh yeah?! Take a look around you! You wouldn't be the first to lose her threads here tonight!" Turning slowly so as not to trigger another dizzy spell, Flora did a scan of all the people close to them. She was stunned to discover one girl nearby wearing a bra but no top, another who was completely topless, and a third dancing around in her underwear. When she glanced at the nearest cage she was shocked to find a girl dancing in it completely naked! There was even a shirtless boy and another stripped down to his briefs not too far away. What was going on? Was it really so hot in the club that people were willing to take off their clothes in order to get some relief? Just then the song ended and a cheer went up from somewhere not too far away. This was followed by a voice she quickly recognized as Musa's saying something about another show, followed by more cheering. As Flora was looking in that direction Icy came up behind her and wrapped her arms around her waist. "Sounds like your friends are getting in the spirit of things! What do you say?! Shall we join them?!" Flora couldn't believe her ears. Musa and Layla were stripping? She knew the two of them were natural performers, but this? And yet as she felt Icy's arms cooling her middle, cool stomach pressed against her burning back, she couldn't help imagining how good it would feel to strip down and feel the ice witch's body pressed against every inch of her fevered flesh. "I don't know! I...!" She gasped as she felt Icy's hands rise up to cup her large breasts. "What about just these then?! I'll bet you'd feel a lot cooler if you just let these out to breathe!" Flora pulled free of Icy's grasp and turned to face her, intent on telling her that wasn't appropriate touching, but the moment her eyes met Icy's she felt her breasts catch fire, begging for release. Suddenly Icy's suggestion sounded very inviting. She hesitated a moment longer, trying desperately to remember why she shouldn't do this, but the burning need of her body simply could not be denied any longer. A moan forced itself from her lips. "Ooooh! O-okay! I guess that would be alright!" As she reached for her top to pull it up it struck her that she was about to bare her breasts in front of one of her worst enemies, something which under ordinary circumstances she would never even dream of doing. That stopped her in her tracks. "I... I don't think I can do this!" Icy rolled her eyes. "Typical gutless fairy! Here! Watch me! I'll show you just how easy it is!" The ice witch reached for the knot holding her pale blue shirt closed in front and deftly pulled it loose. She drew the front panels of her shirt apart, exposing her firm, rounded breasts to Flora's astonished gaze. Flora couldn't help noticing that the witch's nipples were jutting out proud and firm, announcing her level of arousal to the world. Icy planted her hands on her hips, putting her chest proudly on display as she stood with her shirt hanging open. "There! You see?! Nothing to it!" Flora couldn't believe how confident Icy looked standing there with her breasts hanging out like that. It was as if she actually enjoyed exposing herself for all the world to see. Just then she noticed the lyrics of the song which had started after Poison ended. "I believe in you! I can show you that I can see right through all your empty lies!" Was Icy lying to her? What should she be seeing? Raising her eyes to meet Icy's blue-eyed gaze she felt her cheeks burn and her whole chest catch fire. It was too much! She no longer cared if it wasn't decent. The need for relief was unbearable. She simply had to escape the dreadful burning heat that was suffocating her, and the only relief was to be found in the ice witch's embrace. Besides, hadn't Musa and Layla just done much the same as she was now contemplating? Before she fully realized what she was doing she had her shirt pulled up, baring her impressive D cup breasts to the white-haired girl's hungry gaze. The way Icy's eyes lit up reminded Flora of the way Kiko eyed a fresh carrot. She giggled nervously at the comparison. The ice witch stepped in close, placing her hands on the sides of the nature fairy's breasts. "Well now! What have we here?! Seems like someone has been holding out on us!" Flora closed her eyes and moaned at the feeling of Icy's cooling hands stroking the sides of her overheated breasts. It felt so good, but it just wasn't enough. She needed more, so much more! She stroked her hands up and down the ice witch's bare arms with desperate yearning. "Oh please Icy-!" She found herself abruptly cut off by a finger across her lips. She opened her eyes to find Icy glaring at her warningly, a look that set her blood boiling worse than ever. "The name is Beth!" Flora lowered her head apologetically as Icy took her finger away. "I'm sorry Beth! I feel like I'm burning up in here! I need your arms around me so badly! Please, I'm begging you!" Icy didn't need to be told that. The flower fairy's skin was flushed red all over and drops of sweat were starting to bead her face and arms. The girl was burning up. If she didn't stop the stupid fairy from making eye contact soon the bitch was liable to pass out from heat exhaustion. "Alright, I'll cool you off, but first I need you to do two things for me! First, close your eyes!" Flora wasn't sure what the ice witch was up to but if it meant getting relief from the oppressive heat she was willing to chance it. At that moment she would have gladly welcomed being frozen in Icy's Ice Coffin. The worst thing the witch could do to her just then would be to simply leave her as she was. With an accepting nod she closed her eyes as she was bade. "Alright! Now what?!" With a wicked grin Icy shrugged out of her sleeveless top and let it fall to the floor. "Now, take off your top! I wanna see nothing but skin from the waist up!" Flora's cheeks burned at the thought of being completely topless in front of the leader of the Trix, but considering her breasts were already bared would it really make that much difference? She grabbed the bottom edge of her top and pulled it up over her head and off. Instantly she felt the difference as more of her fevered skin was exposed to the open air. As she dropped her top on the floor she felt Icy's hands return to her breasts and begin rubbing all over them. Ordinarily she would have objected to such handling, but at the moment it felt absolutely wonderful. She leaned her head back and moaned as she felt those hands glide up the upper curve of her breasts to her chest and shoulders, then on up to her neck. Everywhere those hands went she felt the fire in her flesh beginning to cool. When she felt Icy's lips pressing against the hollow of her throat she raised no objection. At that point she would take any contact she could get with the ice witch. At last, mercifully, she felt those cooling arms enfold her body and pull her close, mashing her massive tits against Icy's smaller ones. The wave of relief she felt was indescribable. She didn't object at all when Icy nuzzled her cheek and sucked on her earlobe. All the cooling contact felt like paradise. If Icy had chosen to strip her naked and lay down on top of her she would have welcomed it. So lost was she in the blissful sensations of holding the half-naked ice witch in her arms that it took several seconds for the cheers, whistles and hoots all around them to intrude upon her awareness. When they did she looked around in confusion, noting with surprise that everyone in the vicinity was facing in their direction and cheering at them. What was going on? Why were they suddenly the center of attention? It was a little embarrassing, but all the people's reactions were so positive and encouraging she couldn't help feeling a bit giddy about it. When Icy let go and turned to stand beside her she felt bereft without the ice witch's body pressed against her, but when the ice witch stuck a hand down the back of her skirt to cup her ass that made everything all right. It felt so good the way Icy touched her body, holding her, stroking her, fondling her, expressing such desire through the act of touch. It made her want to wrap herself up in the white-haired girl and stay that way forever. How could they ever have been enemies? Glancing over at the ice witch she caught Icy's self-satisfied grin just as the chorus came blaring at them from the speakers positioned around the dance floor. "Say goodbye! As we dance with the Devil tonight! Don't you dare look at her in the eyes! As we dance with the Devil tonight!" Wait... Did she really just hear 'look at her in the eyes'? No. It had been 'look at him in the eyes'. So why had she misheard it as 'her' instead? Then her gaze locked with Icy's and she felt that familiar fire racing through her veins. Oh. Maybe that was why. Between the burning in her blood, the applause all about them and the chilly finger Icy was sliding down her ass crack, the flower fairy was starting to feel a little light-headed. When Icy shouted at her "Take a bow, fairy!" Flora attempted to drop a curtsey, but a wave of vertigo caused her to stumble. Icy was instantly there to catch her with a supporting hand on her bare breasts. For some reason this caused the cheering to get even louder. As she helped the nature fairy back upright Icy grinned predatorily. Just one spiked drink and a little lust charm had the brunette so tipsy she didn't have any clue how badly she was embarrassing herself. What a lightweight. How easily she was manipulated. When Flora put an arm around her shoulders for support and asked to sit down for a bit the ice witch had no objections. She wanted to deepen the flower fairy's humiliation further anyway before she took her, and showing her off to her friends half-naked and drunk off her ass would do just fine. Besides, with the way the girl was sweating she was going to need some water soon before she passed out from dehydration. She took every opportunity to feel up the nature fairy as they staggered through the cheering throng toward their table. =*=*=*=*= In a different area of the club, off-limits to guests, three men sat in a room, each facing a wall of monitors, keeping tabs on the action in various parts of the club. Behind them the door opened and a heavy-set man wearing a purple disco suit, a gold chain necklace and a bad toupee walked in. Shutting the door behind him he walked over to lay his hand on the shoulder of the man on his left. "Hey Johnny! How's it going? Any new talent tonight?" The man turned in his seat and nodded. "Lots of it! Got a new crop of girls came in tonight. Check out these two." He pointed at one of the monitors. The camera appeared to be mounted on one wall of the main area of the club. It was angled down to cover the central dance floor. Johnny fiddled with a set of controls on the console in front of him, causing the camera to zoom in on Flora and Icy as they made their way unsteadily off the dance floor. The portly man's eyes widened as he eyed Flora's impressive rack. "Great gozongas! Get a load of the tatas on that broad!" Johnny gave a satisfied grin. "You're not the only one who seems to appreciate them. The white-haired girl with her can't seem to keep her paws off 'em. In fact just a minute ago those two were in the middle of a sizzling game of Connect Four." The boss licked his lips. "Hot damn! Alright, I want those two in Gold tonight, especially Miss Mammaries." The man at the console gave a puzzled frown. "But boss, they're both newbies. We can't just jump them up to Gold in one night." The standing man scowled and and pointed a finger at him. "I know that! They'll have to be someone's guests. Keep tabs on them. Find out if they know anyone in Gold. If not, introduce them to someone who is. I want them in Gold tonight whatever it takes to get 'em there!" Johnny nodded. "You got it boss." The stout man placed a hand on the back of Johnny's chair and leaned forward. "So who else you got for me tonight?" Johnny twiddled a few more controls on the console. "See for yourself. I caught some footage you're gonna wanna see." One of the monitors flickered as the live feed on it was replaced by a recording from several minutes earlier. Musa and Layla were centered in the display. The balding man strained further forward and grinned. "Brown sugar! Nice! We've been needing some more color around this joint. The China doll ain't half bad either." Johnny reached out to tap the left side of the screen. "Keep one eye on this side of the screen while you watch those two. There's someone else you're gonna want to see." A moment later a guy backed into the scene with Darcy driving him on. He backed right into Musa, causing her to turn and speak to him. He turned to apologize, but just as he was turning back to Darcy she simply vanished from sight. The boss raised one eyebrow and lowered the other as the guy in the picture looked around in confusion. "What the? Did that girl just disappear?" Johnny nodded without looking away from the screen. "Keep watching." Musa got done looking around them and spoke to Layla, who in turn drew Musa up against her body. At the same moment another copy of Darcy emerged from the crowd, slipped in close and ran a hand over the music fairy's ass before slipping away again and disappearing. The big man looked at Johnny. "It's that same girl again! From the other side this time! What's she doing, teleporting around in the middle of a crowded dance floor?" Johnny shook his head. "Near as I can tell those are copies of the original. Reviewing the footage I've isolated as many as seven of her at one point. She's got those two surrounded and they don't even realize it." The boss's eyes widened as he watched Musa and Layla's uncomfortable exchange, noticing Darcy edging slowly backward from the crowd toward Musa's backside. "Seven? Holy crap! A looker like her who can make copies of herself? She's a regular one girl orgy!" Johnny nodded, his eyes glued to the screen. "And watch what she does right here." As Johnny spoke Darcy thrust her hips back, ramming her butt into Musa's, sending the music fairy toppling forward into Layla's startled embrace, her mouth colliding with the water fairy's in the middle of a word. For an instant neither girl moved. Then another Darcy stepped into frame from behind Layla and gently pushed her head forward with her hand, encouraging her to reciprocate the unintended kiss. As the two girls began to get caught up in the spirit of the kiss both Darcy's faded out. From the surrounding crowd three more Darcy's pointed at the osculating fairies, drawing the crowd's attention to them. As the crowd started whooping and cheering the startled fairies two of the Darcys disappeared while the third one backed away unnoticed into the crowd. Johnny pointed her out. "That'd be the real one. She orchestrated the whole thing just to get those two girls kissing and embarrass them." The boss man grinned approvingly. "That little minx. I like her! I want her, and those two, and the two from before. I want 'em all in Gold tonight come hell or high water! Girls like these will bring in a ton of new subscribers on the website." Johnny looked at the portly man and nodded while on-screen Musa waved at the crowd. "Consider it done boss." The balding man clapped Johnny on the shoulder twice as he straightened back up. "Good man. Anything else I should know about?" Johnny switched the monitor back to a live feed. "Amanda's back again tonight." The boss stroked his chin thoughtfully. "The Man-Eater? This night just keeps getting more and more interesting. Keep up the good work Johnny. I'll stop back later to check up on things." Johnny nodded as he watch the monitors, scanning for connections he could use to carry out his boss's orders. The boss man turned and left, grinning from ear to ear as he imagined the show these new girls would put on once he got them into the Gold rooms and the obscene profits he would rake in from it. =*=*=*=*= Stormy fumed as she waited in line for the bar. There had been quite a queue ahead of her but at least she was finally next in line now. She was determined to get herself so plastered that she wouldn't remember tonight ever happened. The thought of her Trix sisters playing disgusting girl-girl games with those revolting Alfea fairies was making her stomach turn. The sooner she wiped this evening from her memory the better. Her brooding thoughts were interrupted by a tap on her shoulder and a familiar voice. "Hey there Mandy!" Looking back over her shoulder the storm witch instantly recognized the blond from the coat check window in the lobby. "Allegra, how many times do I have to tell you? It's Amanda, not Mandy." Allegra grinned back at her impishly. "Whatever you say Amy!" Stormy clenched her fist, gritted her teeth and growled in frustration. The blond laughed merrily and laid her hands on the blue-haired girl's shoulders. "Lighten up Amanda! God! You're so tense! I'm just teasing you. What's the matter? Having a bad night?" Stormy turned her face forward again. "I've had better nights. We ran into these Alfea pixies and Bethany and Darcy won't stop flirting with them. It's making me sick to my stomach." Allegra began kneading her hands on Stormy's shoulders. "Aw. That's too bad. You know, I kind of got the impression your friend with the glasses was flirting with me a little bit when you three came in." Stormy closed her eyes and tried to relax into the shoulder massage. She had to admit it felt rather nice. "That's Darcy, and yeah, she was. Sometimes it seems like she just doesn't know how to turn it off. You should have seen how she left Chuck after we paid to get in." The blond girl laughed gayly at that. "Huh ha ha ha ha ha! Oh, I'll bet he was just drooling all over himself by the time she got through with him! He thinks he's so cool with his whole Gatekeeper routine but if a girl pays him the slightest attention he just loses it." Stormy actually managed a smile at that. "Heh. Yeah. I guess it was pretty funny watching him whimper and beg while Darcy wrapped him around her little finger. That prick deserves the set of blue balls she left him with." She opened her eyes and glanced back over her shoulder at the blond. "So what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be working the coat check window or something?" Allegra rolled her eyes and tilted her head back melodramatically. "I wasn't supposed to be on duty tonight. This is Crystal's night, but she flaked and didn't show up for work on time. I got called in to cover for her. Well anyway, she finally deigned to show up so now I'm off the hook and free to enjoy the rest of my evening." Stormy shook her head. "What a slacker. She oughta be fired for that." Allegra nodded. "I think the boss is already looking for someone to take her place. You interested?" The storm witch's eyes widened in surprise. She turned to face the blond fully. "Me? Are you kidding? Your job sounds way too boring and irritating for me! I'd go nuts standing around all night making nicey-nice talk to all the losers coming in to have fun while I was stuck behind the counter! I'd rather gargle a box full of thumbtacks." Allegra giggled merrily. "He he he he ha ha! Yeah. I'm just kidding you. You'd be a total disaster as a coat check girl. I just wanted to see your reaction." Stormy folded her arms and grumped. "Hmph. What are you even doing here? If this is your night off why spend it where you work?" The blond gestured around the club, then back out toward the lobby. "I don't work here. I work out there. Being inside the club is way more fun than standing around in the lobby all night asking people if they've got anything they wanna leave with me while they go enjoy themselves. Besides, since I work here I get in for free, which is a very nice job perk. Anyplace else I'd have to pay the cover charge." Her expression shifted to a smirk as she reached out to drape her forearms over Stormy's shoulders. "Besides, this is a rare opportunity for me. I've never been here on my night off on a night that you're here too. Now I can spend time with my favorite customer, Amanda the Man-Eater." Stormy brushed the blond's arms off her shoulders. "Gee. Lucky you." Just then the guy ahead of her turned and walked off with his drinks. The bartender called "Next!", alerting Stormy that she was up. As she stepped up to the bar Allegra moved up beside her. Tony grinned at the pair. "Hey there Amanda! Hey Legs!" Allegra grinned back at him. "Hey Ant!" Stormy looked back and forth between them in confusion. "Legs? Ant? What're you guys talking about?" Tony gave her an amused smirk. "My name's Anthony. Most folks shorten it to Tony, but Allegra likes to be different so she calls me Ant instead." Allegra cocked her hip and pressed her fingers to her chest. "I just like to shorten names in fun ways Amy. The first time I shortened his name to Ant he shortened mine to Legs. It's been a running gag with us ever since." Stormy glowered at her. "My name is Storm- uh, Amanda! Not Amy. Not Mandy. Amanda. Got it?" Allegra shook her head and sighed. "You are just no fun to tease. You take stuff way too personally. Lighten up. It's not hurting anything. I like being able to shorten people's names in fun ways. Not only is it amusing all by itself but it makes me feel closer to the ones who know how to enjoy it. But when someone I like gets all bent out of shape about it that makes it no fun anymore." Stormy lowered one eyebrow and raised the other. "How am I supposed to 'enjoy' it when you're making fun of my name?" Allegra spread her hands in a 'Come on, work with me here!' gesture. "I'm not making fun of your name, I'm playing with it. Look, why don't you give it a try? Do something creative with my name. Come up with a fun nickname for me." Both of Stormy's eyebrows raised and pinched together in confusion. "You want me to mangle your name?" The leggy blond grinned at her. "Sure! I love it when people play games with my name. It's fun!" The storm witch frowned in dubious concentration as she slowly sounded out the blond's name, trying to come up with some sort of nickname from it. "Al... leg... ra... ator! Alligator! As in 'See ya later Alligator!'" Allegra gave her a broad grin and clapped her on the shoulder. "There ya go! See how much fun it can be?" Stormy gave her an uncertain smile. "Yeah... I guess it is kinda fun." Tony leaned on the counter with a smile. "Don't mean to rush you ladies but there's a bit of a line starting to form behind you. Can I get you anything?" Allegra glanced behind her in mild surprise then turned back to Tony. "Oh! Right! Gimme a mudslide please." Tony nodded and glanced at Stormy as he began fixing the requested beverage. "And for you?" Stormy leaned one fist on the counter. "I'll have a tequila. Better yet, make that three. I'm lookin' ta get get smashed tonight." Tony shook his head as he set the mudslide on the counter and started pouring a tequila. "Sorry. The rule is only two drinks per customer per visit. If you want three you'll have to come back after you finish the first two." Stormy stared at him in incredulous outrage. "What?! What the hell kind of shitty rule is that? Since when?" Tony started pouring the second tequila. "Since always. That's been the rule as long as this joint's been open. You've just never tried to order more than two at a time before." Stormy flung out her hand in the direction of her table. "But you fixed three mai tais for Darcy earlier!" Tony set down the bottle and pushed the two drinks toward her. "Three drinks for three customers. If you were ordering for someone else that'd be different, but since you're just ordering for yourself I can only give you two for right now." Seeing the look of rage forming on Stormy's face Allegra jumped in. "You know what, I think I'll take a tequila too, and I'll share it with whoever I want to." Tony glanced at the blond and shrugged. "Whatever. Works for me. You're going with your standard payment option I'm guessing?" Allegra nodded as she set to unbuttoning her blouse. "Of course." Stormy stared at her wide-eyed as the blond took her top off. "Are you serious?" Allegra grinned as she deposited the garment on the counter and reached behind her to unhook her bra. "Of course! Being an employee may get me in for free but I still have to pay for my drinks like everyone else. Since I plan on being naked before the night's out anyway I figure one article of clothing for half off one drink is a real no-brainer." Stormy watched incredulously as Allegra slipped off her bra and dropped it on top of her blouse. "Not for me! I'm not stripping down unless I've got someone to fuck and a private room to do it in." Allegra shrugged as she paid for the balance of what she owed and collected her drinks. "Suit yourself, but finding someone to fuck might go faster if you showed a bit more skin." Stormy plopped down her money and grabbed her own drinks. "Forget it. If I want a fuck buddy I'll just grab some guy and drag him off with me. Who's gonna say no to the Man-Eater?" Allegra grinned at her as Stormy led her off toward the table. "The way I hear it, any guy who values his balls." Stormy smirked back at her. "Wrong. Those are the guys who don't say no." As the pair walked off two guys stepped up to the bar, presenting the tops Icy and Flora had discarded a minute or so earlier. ---------------- And thus the second chapter of Just Dance draws to a close. I hope you're all enjoying the story as much as I've enjoyed writing it. I'd like to give a special thanks to gaiachild, the only person to drop me their suggestions on how they see the story proceding in the comments. As you can see I used virtually every suggestion provided since those were the only ones I received, apart from a few ideas from my writing partners eltf177 and tante carla which I also gladly incorporated. I actually didn't think I was going to wind up using all of the ideas gaiachild posted, figuring I'd just pick out the ones I felt worked best and go with those, but by the time I was done I found that I had used almost all of them. Obviously not evey idea wound up being used precisely as it was presented but they all wound up making a pretty clear impact on the events in the story. I did decide not to use the Icy-transforms-into-Mirta idea, at least not yet and perhaps not at all, but we'll see how things go. Also the ideas for Stormy are progressing only slowly at this point and not flowing precisely as laid out by gaiachild, but I did take some clear inspirations from the ideas gaiachild presented. Thank you very much gaiachild for contributing to the evolution of this story. As you can see, when I say a story is interactive I mean it! Reader feedback can have a tremendous impact on how this story develops. Now it's time once again to ask the readers what they'd like to see happen next. In Chapter 3 we're going to shake things up a bit as everyone winds up changing partners. Once Musa and Layla see how far Icy has gotten with Flora there's no way they're going to leave her alone with the ice witch again! So now the question is who winds up spending time with who? Who will chat and dance with whom? Who will lose clothes next? What songs will inspire them? What will everyone be drinking? Who'll wind up kissing who? Will there be any special events or activities? Remember, there's dancing cages and a stage if any of the girls feel like showing off. And if anyone wants to be an extra in the story go ahead and give me a description of what you look like (real or fantasy is up to you) and what you see yourself doing at the club. All suggestions will be considered, and those that inspire me will make it into the story, so let's hear from everyone out there! I wanna hear from YOU! Tell me where this story goes next, because it's up to all of you to decide just how hot this night becomes! While AFF and its agents attempt to remove all illegal works from the site as quickly and thoroughly as possible, there is always the possibility that some submissions may be overlooked or dismissed in error.
