They first took the bus from ACME Labs to one of the many residential suburbs. There they waited for the bus to take them to the dentist.

"Uh, Brain?"

"Yes Pinky?"

"Uhm, why didn't we just take a bus to the dentist?"

Brain never really minded going over the details of his plans; in fact he enjoyed it. "Normally we would Pinky but during yesterday's extended planning session I realized that it would look odd for a Mother and child to be leaving a Lab to go to a dentist. The bus driver would be suspicious. But a bus driver wouldn't be suspicious about us going to the suburbs. He probably assumed it was bring your child to work day."

"Sit up straight dear."

It unnerved him sometimes just how into character Pinky could get with his disguises. Remembering lines was always a weakness but when it came to ad-libbing dialogue ... he was practically a savant. 'Television. He watches it all on television and simply mimics the mannerisms.' Though he normally wouldn't think twice...tonight was different. Pinky normally only had an hour or so the plan and think about his character. Having had a full 24 hours did not only stunning things for his costume...the blue of the dress really went well with his eyes...but also the mannerisms, such as the way he was crossing one leg over the other. 'The cut also seems to call attention to the lines of those legs. I wonder..." he quickly shook his head. 'This is Pinky! He's a Male!' The voice repeated for the seventh time since the plan started, though not quite as loudly as the other six times.

The bus came but even that offered no relief. Pinky went first and being mice as they were, each step up required a bit of a jump a skosh of climbing, more so for himself. It had become such a given in their lives that Brain seldom noticed the routine. On the higher steps, as were the kind in this particular bus, Pinky would clamber up first and then pull him up. Tonight though, such routine became anything but. Watching Pinky clamber up the steps dressed as he was offered far too much temptation. It was easy enough not to look up while he was climbing the first step. By the fourth step though keeping his eyes down took considerable strain on his, part. 'Curses, what's wrong with me? This is Pinky, not to mention he's a Male.' The voice was no longer even shouting any more, loud but closer to conversational.

Being late as it was the bus was mostly empty so they were able to sit up front. The bus drivers were little more than fleshy automatons at this hour; they didn't register their passengers. Climbing to the seat though Brain's willpower slipped; just as his compatriot had reached the top, he looked you, his eyes intently darting to the hem of that dress and beneath. Nothing but a little leg and shadow. Nothing. So why did the shorts he was wearing suddenly feel a size too small.

The bus drive was a full ten minutes that mercifully allowed him to take his mind off things, 'things' being Pinky's legs and tail. They arrived at the dentist's office and getting down the steps was less tempting than getting up, they both just hopped or scurried down.

They entered the waiting room and as Brain expected there were quite a few children with parents though half the seats were still empty thanks to his schedule modifications. They were there just to give them a background to blend into and blend they did. Discounting size they were just another mother and child in to see the dentist. The clock said 8:25pm. It would be fifteen minutes before the first in a long list of politicians arrived; just as he planned. It wouldn't have done for them to vanish right after they arrived. No. Five minutes to change along with a five-minute movement overhead gave them a full ten minutes to mill about absently and 'get lost'.

Ten minutes however give him more time than he'd have liked to let his mind wonder. Pinky was seated beside him, legs crossed demurely, reading. 'He did a fantastic job. No denying it, his disguise is superb and the act is...homina..." the train of thought was introduced to a depleted uranium wall as Pinky shifted; uncrossing then re-crossing those legs, those gorgeous legs.

He didn't know how long he was staring but by the time he looked back to the clock it was time to move. "

"Pinky?"

"But I don't want to go to the pony show mom..."

He was actually asleep, though what disturbed him more is that he was too busy staring, no lusting after his friend's legs to even notice. "It's time to move Pinky, we have to change our costumes."

"Oh! Right-o Brain. Zort!"

"The scootched off the chair they shared. Brain hit the ground first and looked up as he did. He realized he'd done so on purpose and the purpose came as a shock to him. He managed to see a little higher than Pinky's knee that time. Just a little. Then the thought 'Wonder what his nurse outfit will look like. No wait, this is Pinky, he's a male." the last part sounding more like an after thought, a mumbled one at that.

They made their way to the restrooms and the accessed the duct works. It was a short walk from the Restroom to the Dentist's office they sought, ten feet to be exact. The vent grill was jimmied and in they climbed. Pinky went first, and Brain cursed himself for not being faster, his mind was already painting pictures of what he would see. There was no voice of reprimand this time.

"Brain? There's no one here..."

"Er...exactly Pinky. I had a remote virus generate a call to the doctor, he'll be off n the phantom errand all evening."

"But the nurse..."

"The nurse received a remote call to the effect of 'Never mind false alarm I don't have to go any where'. Now hurry up and change your costume. We only have a few minutes before the senators start arriving."

Brain saw this as an unexpected opportunity, Pinky would have no problem with changing in front of him, he'd simply watch Pinky while he changed and....his plan encountered an unexpected bump even before it was hatched. Said bump would have been the erection he became aware of, his anticipation must have triggered it. Now he couldn't very well change in front of Pinky for risk of exposing, 'Exposing what, the fact that I seem to be sporting a considerable indicator of arousal due to the presence of another male? Or what Pinky might say?'. He realized neither scenario particularly appealed to him. He just barely comprehended the why of it himself. He was straight as far as he knew. There were several females he had interest not the least of which was Billie.

"Where you going Brain?" He was already undoing the buttons on the blouse.

"Er...I, uh need to check something. Make sure things are where they need to be for the plan" he lied and honestly he hated lying to Pinky. It was an easy thing and that's what made it quite so painful. Pinky was just so trusting. "You just finish changing, I'll be right back."

He walked away, back down the ventilation duct, practically back to the restroom. He wanted to be out of Pinky's sight but also wanted Pinky out of his sight. He just didn't know what to think. He prided himself on his stoicism and logical demeanour but tonight all that was changing and for one of the few times in his life, he found himself thinking with a part of his brain he wasn't used to; The part that didn't care that the being in the dress and blouse wasn't a female.

He put his disguise on and went to rejoin his friend and received his second shock for the evening.

Pinky' nurse outfit was pretty standard. White short sleeved blouse and but the way it fit. They must have come off a Barbie doll or some such because the over all effect bordered on fetishistic. Maybe it was the blonde wig. Or the red lipstick he was currently applying to those lips of his. Once again his pants began to feel uncomfortably constrained.

"Right this way Senator, you're first on the Doctor's list for to night. Just sit in the chair and he'll be right with you." It was the receptionist. Which meant the plan had to be followed through. The world would be his!

The plan went smoothly. The senator was gassed, had his tooth extracted and the transmitter tooth implanted. This was one of the few times their small size made this task easier. The first five went like clockwork; the sixth one took a little longer since two teeth were needed. Then everything went wrong.

It was an oversight on his part, but really he didn't think senators would be capable of such juvenility. Things had been going like clockwork; the senator would come in, ask where the doctor was, he'd say:

"My Colleague was called away on an emergency, I owed him a favour so here I am. Now say 'Ahhh'"

Then the diagnosis:

"I'm afraid that tooth will have to come out. Don't worry, I specialize in this sort of thing, you'll be out in ten minutes or less. No there will be no extra charge."

The mask went down, the patients were out and he would begin. Pinky was quite competent, an improvised pulley system lowered him into the mouth and he would extract the tooth. His diminutive size meant he could work with much greater ease, precision and speed than a human dentist. He was able to live up to his ten minutes or less promise for all but one and as the law of calamitous averages stated, that was the one that caused the whole thing to fall apart.

One senator took a good fifteen minutes longer because he requested a cleaning as well. Normally Brain would have refused but the Senator was a rather prominent speaker and his reply was too logical for Brain to refute.

"My time is quite valuable it makes no sense for me to see you twice when I can see another dentist once."

So he wound up performing a cleaning. By the time he was done his attention was called to a calamitous row in the waiting room. Apparently a few of the republican senators had heated arguments with the democratic senators. It was getting ugly, fast and threatened to ruin his plan so he tried to calm things down, and it worked well enough until one of them accused him of playing favourites that he was a democrat, another countered saying he was obviously republican.

"Gentlemen both your claims are absurd, my preference runs towards third party independents."

Thusly both democrats and republicans united in the common goal of pummelling him. He only just made it back to the dentist's office and only by merit of being able to squeeze under the door.

"Wot's the matter Brain?"

"We need to evacuate the premises with utmost haste Pinky."

"Right-o Brain"

Back into the air vents they went. Once again the pre-planning paid off; he had planned for such a contingency, unfortunately he had not planned for the distraction; Pinky's disguise. It wasn't a problem at first, he lead the retreat for most of the way, once they reached the roof however things changed. The plan was to sneak up to the roof of the building and then cross to the adjoining rooftop and descend to the street where they would hitchhike their way back to the labs. The two steps went smoothly; he could still hear the row in the clinic when the crossed to the roof of the bakery. Then came the climb down.

Five feet down the ladder and he looked up. Pinky was following of course but he was still dressed in his disguise, they both were. The entire trip down from there was a battle of will for Brain and a battle he was already losing. The voice had gone quite silent. The nurse skirt he wore was more clinging than his motherly disguise so it was actually harder to see under but that very same nature caused it to ride up enticingly. About half way down Brain came to realize that Pinky had been wearing stocking, sheer stockings at that. In fact it was only the garter bands around Pinky's thighs that gave them away. The hem of the skirt had come to bunch near the tops of his thighs; so close, and those legs. What little was left of his logical senses told him that it was unlikely to rise any further; but he could always hope.

They were ten feet from the ground when it happened. Pinky's skirt had against the odds scootched up just a little further and Brain, master of logic and stoicism, was reduced to a drooling gawker. It was just when he could almost, almost see; he slipped. He grabbed at Pinky's tail reflexively and for a moment he was caught, a moment later, Pinky's grip slipped.

It was a little after midnight when two bruised mice returned to the ACME Labs. Bruised but even they were pleased to be free of burns and lacerations this time around.

"Well so much for that plan."

"Cheer up Brain, we almost pulled it off. Zort!"

Brain turned to look at his bruised partner. The disguise was gone now and strangely it was easier to look at Pinky naked. It was after all just Pinky. Still...

"Actually, it was a success. We may not have gotten the entire senate but we did get a decent majority of both sides implanted. In fact it may work out even better. Both sides agreeing in unison on things would likely arouse suspicion."

"But all the senators that were still out in the waiting room?"

"Most of them were already implanted Pinky, many just chose to wait around until the gas effects wore off completely. By my records we saw all but eighteen ... and the president."

"Wasn't the president important?"

"Yes but we still have the senators and any of them can be the next president. After all the elections are only nine months away. We should get some rest. Good night Pinky."

"Uh Brain? About tonight."

Brain's heart jumped to his throat. Did he notice? Did Pinky notice that Brain spent almost half the evening trying not to look up his skirt? What would he say if he did? What could he say? "Yes Pinky?" he replied.

"Were my disguises okay?" Pinky had the uncanny ability to trigger Brains heartstrings and with a deft precision. Just the way he looked, ears down, his tail nervously clutched in his hands, and the eyes...

"Your disguises were quite good Pinky. In fact I'd like you to come up with one for tomorrow Night"

"What are we going to do tomorrow night Brain?"

"I'm not sure yet."
