Opposites Attract – pt 2
It’s been nearly five days since that night on the river bank. Zuko had offered his family’s home on Ember Island as the group’s new training grounds for Aang, as well as a safe shelter from the elements. Each person had their own separate room, and privacy was something that none of them had to worry about.
Or so Katara thought. Unfortunately for her, ever since that night where she had accidental ended up spying on Zuko; he has been plaguing her dreams at night. Her dreams won’t allow her to forget the sensual sight of Zuko as he pleasured himself beneath the moon that night, nor could she forget the golden blaze of his eyes when he had stared at her in the end.
She was still so flustered and embarrassed that she was finding it hard to even look Zuko in the face without feeling her face heat. Though she knew that he had seen her that night, Zuko never said a word. Nothing he said or did indicated that he had been aware of her. He didn’t so much as even smile.
Even though the fire prince gave away nothing, Katara knew he had seen her. But she was beginning to have doubts as to if she really had heard him call out her name. Surely, if he had found her to be desirable, then wouldn’t he at least let her know some how?
Since she didn’t know what to think or do about her situation, Katara did the only thing she could do. She avoided Zuko as much as possible. By avoiding him, she hoped to be able to avoid her feelings that she knew were growing stronger, just as her dreams were steadily growing more erotic.
Though try as hard as she might, Zuko still managed to find her. He was as relentless in his pursuit of her in her dreams as he had been when chasing Aang in real life. And each time he caught her, she would be consumed by the raging fires of his passion as he tormented her endlessly. And this night would be no different and she knew it.
In fact, she was filled with both anticipation and trepidation. She was anxious to find out what her tormentor would do to her tonight, but at the same time she knew that it was only a dream. A deceivingly cruel dream that would leave her lying alone and aching, longing for his touch.
She knew that she should be focused more on her own training as well as Aang’s, especially since Zuko was right about the comet being only days away. And after Zuko had revealed his father’s plans for the Earth Kingdom, she knew that last thing that she needed to be thinking about were some silly little dreams. But she honestly couldn’t focus thanks to the sexual frustration that had been steadily building inside of her.
Even now, as she prepared for bed, the only thing that was going through her mind was Zuko. Not Sozin’s Comet. Not Firelord Ozai. Not even the planned destruction of the Earth Kingdom. All she could think about was Zuko and the dream that awaited her as she crawled into bed.
#######
Zuko couldn’t stand it. Katara was avoiding him!
He had hoped that with time as she grew to trust him and to accept him, that she would welcome his feelings. But instead she began to avoid like he had a plague. He was so frustrated that he wanted to burn something. Anything!
But what was the use? Needless destruction was no longer a path that he wished to walk ever again. Perhaps it may not have been such a good idea to ‘express’ he feelings that night on the river bank, but even if he could go back and do it over, he doubted that he would have done anything differently.
He was willing to bet now, that if he had done anything, that he had only doomed himself. Why else would she avoid him if not because she saw him as nothing more than a monster. Thanks to his endless search for the avatar and the scar that marked his face, then it was impossible for him to hope that she might actually grow to like him in that way.
He was grateful for the fact that they had let him join their group. He was honored to Aang’s teacher for Fire-bending. He was humbled by the having been accepted by the two remaining dragons, the original masters of fire-bending. He was happy to know that they all trusted him and that even Katara now treated him like a friend. But even as he stared back up at the moon, Zuko couldn’t help but wish for more.
Thanks to Mai and his uncle, he knew what it was like to love another, even though he had ended up betraying them, Zuko still cared about their well-being. He loved his uncle with all his heart, but he knew that didn’t love Mai the way he should, and she deserved better than that. She deserved someone better than him.
Climbing to his feet, Zuko dusted the sand from his clothes. Looking up at the moon, Zuko began to understand just what Sokka might have felt when he had lost Yue. With a heavy sigh, Zuko turned and headed back towards the ruined remains of his family’s vacation home.
Suddenly a noise on the path in front of him made him stop.
“Agh! I can’t take it anymore!”
‘Great,’ thought Zuko, ‘It’s Katara.’ And if her quiet snarls were anything the judge by, she didn’t sound happy. In an effort to avoid being a victim for her to take her frustration out on, Zuko quickly and silently moved into the shadows that lined the path. He had no desire to end up in a fight with the fiery water-bender, and in the mood she was in, she was definitely looking for a fight.
“Those damned dreams are killing me!”, hissed Katara as she continued on down the path towards the beach. Never once noticing the fire-bender as she continued to snarl. “Perhaps a little water-bending will help me to cool off. And in more than one way.”
‘Did she say Cool off?’
Zuko smiled then. Perhaps his idea worked after all. If her dreams had indeed sent her out her in desperate attempt to ‘cool off.’ But it would be even better if the person that was in her dreams had been him. There was only one way to find out. On silent feet, he followed the unwary water-bender as she made her way to the beach.
Once he reached the edge of the beach, Zuko knelt in the shadows and watched.
#####
As soon as Katara’s feet hit the soft, moist sand of the beach, she tossed her towel and blanket onto a nearby rock and quickly began to strip out of the red silk that adorned her body. Pausing for a moment, she considered her under garments.
Feeling wicked and wild, Katara quickly looked around to make sure that she was indeed alone before tossing the garments aside to join the rest of her clothes. Feeling completely free she then turned and ran down to the water’s edge.
#####
Zuko was pleasantly surprised when the water-bender began to strip before his very eyes. Oh, he had seen her earlier when the others had decided to have a beach party, but he had been to angry with the avatar for neglecting his training that he had wanted nothing more than to teach Aang a lesson. Then after he had settled down enough to learn that they were going to wait until after the comet to attack, he had had no choice but to reveal to them his father’s battle plans, ruining both their fun and good humor.
He had not had the time to enjoy the sight of her, but he did now. Hungrily his eyes starred at the dark beauty whom was standing just five feet from where he was hiding. He wanted to reach out and touch that sun bronzed skin. He wanted to tease and torture her just as she did to him every night in his dreams.
But before he could do anything, she suddenly looked around the area. Then seeing she was alone, Katara smiled darkly. With a quick flick of her wrists, she removed the last of her clothing.
Zuko was so shocked his mouth dropped. But when she turned and tossed the garments to join the rest of her clothes, giving him a completely unhindered view of her toned body, his jaw quickly clamped shut as he barely bit off the groan that had nearly escaped. He could already feel his blood beginning to heat as it started to head south.
Then she turned, giving him a rather nice view of her backside, and sprinted down to the water’s edge. As soon as her feet touched the water, a thick sheet of ice formed. She then bent a wave of water beneath the ice and used it to carry her away from the shore.
Once she was as far out as she wanted, she rolled the wave beneath her ice, using it to build up speed. Suddenly the wave stopped and the ice disappeared as her feet left its surface as she plunged beneath the water’s surface in a graceful dive.
Zuko marveled at the skill and grace of the water-bender. She was as free flowing as the element that was her gift. She was without a doubt the calmest of their group, but she could be just as savage as hurricane. But no matter what mood she was in, she was always gentle. Just like water.
So different from both him and his own element. Fire. A raging and hazardous force that can cause much pain and suffering. Bright and deadly. A destructive force when it is abused or disrespected. But just as much a source of life as any of the other elements.
Fire and water. Complete opposites and natural enemies. They couldn’t be any more unsuited for each other even if they tried. But is it too much to hope that they could find a way to work together? Without fire, water turns cold and unyielding just as without water, fire can run wild and destroy everything in its path. He wanted to be the flame that warmed her heart, as well as her bed. Just as he longed for her gentleness to calm his all consuming fire.
########
Swimming back towards the surface, Katara rose high above the water level and dived back beneath the waves. It was so exhilarating to feel the water completely surrounding her. Completely at home in the element of her gift, Katara easily swam through the waves.
Bending water when she needed to complete her flips and dives, Katara reveled in the freedom of her talent. Playing with an abandon that none of the others ever saw. Finally after what seemed like ten minute of the strenuous play, Katara relaxed. Letting her body float along the surface of the water, she starred up at the moon.
She was feeling a little better, but even as she lazily floated over the surface, she couldn’t help but remember what it was that had brought her out here. Chased from her own room by a single dream, how pathetic.
“Damn him! It’s all his damned fault,” fumed the brunette, as she sent a wave of water flying in aggravation. “Damned Fire-bender! It was bad enough back when he was still chasing us, but it’s even worse now that he’s one of us. Keeping me up all night thanks to those damned dreams.” Oh sure, she could avoid him well enough during the day, but at night? At night there was no escape. Not in her dreams. Not from him.
Completely frustrated, Katara sent waves flying as she dove down beneath the churning water to the calm depths below. When the water settled, she slowly rose to the surface once more. But as she neared the surface an idea began to form.
‘Why not follow Zuko’s example?’ she thought. Surely she could use her own imagination to provide herself with some much needed relief, just like Zuko did that night she had spied on him.
With that though in mind, Katara formed a relatively thin sheet of ice around one of her ankles and let it form into an icy chain that would anchor her in place. Having lived surround by snow and ice for most of her life, the chill of the ice against her skin did nothing to lessen the fever that was beginning to heat her blood.
With her body now safely secured to the ocean floor below, Katara relaxed her body completely. She welcomed the gentle sway of the water around her like she would a lover’s embrace. Gentle, guiding, and supporting. Once she felt completely in sync with the movements of the waves, she lifted her arms. She let her eyes drift closed and called forth the dream that had tormented her minutes before as her hands began to flow over her body, following the path that had been taken by the man in her dream.
######
Zuko watched in wonder as the water-bender splashed and played. Never before had he seen Katara so free. She never played like that when any of the others were around. Smiling, he watched her from the safe haven of the shadows.
After nearly fifteen minutes, Katara settled down. Floating calmly on the water’s surface as she stared up at the moon. Her dark skin, pearlized beneath the rays of the moon, and completely outlined. Nothing was hidden from his eyes.
Suddenly he heard her voice as it drifted back towards him over the water. “Damn him! It’s all his damned fault.” A wave of water was sent flying nearly seven feet high on the heels of her outburst. Boy, he felt sorry for the poor guy she was cursing. He could only hope and pray that it was someone other than him that had sent her fuming.
“Damned Fire-bender!” Okay, that didn’t sound good.
“It was bad enough back when he was still chasing us, but it’s even worse now that he’s one of us. Keeping me up all night thanks to those damned dreams.” This time, twin columns of water rose from the sea only to split in two and fan out in different directions, turning the calm waters into a sea of chaos.
‘Did she just say what I think she said?’ thought the young fire prince. Could it be, that she was actually out here because of him? Zuko smiled. Now he was beginning to understand why she might be avoiding him – she was fighting her own feelings.
Curious over what the water-bender would do now, Zuko watched the surface of the slowly calming water for her to reappear. When she did finally appear, she did absolutely nothing. She just lay there floating.
Zuko frowned. Why was she just lying there? Nearly ten minutes passed, before Zuko sighed and began to climb to his feet. If she was going to do nothing more than float then there was no point in staying.
Still hidden in the shadows, Zuko stood and quietly dusting himself off. With a sigh on his lips, he turned for one last look at the water-maid and froze.
#######
Slowly, Katara traced her hand over her lips and down her throat. Over her collarbone it flowed to where it then traced over the swell of her right breast. As her hand traced over the nipple at its peak, as small moan left her lips.
Shocks of pleasure raced down her spine as she pinched the small tight bud of her nipple between her fingers and tugged. She wondered what it would feel like if it where Zuko’s hands and not her own. Would he be gentle?
‘No, not Zuko. If anything, he would be intense,’ thought Katara as her other hand reached up to mimic her ministrations to left breast as well. ‘Demanding and domineering,’ she thought as she twisted her left nipple, causing to gasp to leave her lips at the biting mix of pleasure and pain that shoot through her system.
“M-m-more.”
Biting her lip, Katara alternated between feather light caresses to tugging and twisting her breasts. As the pleasure began to build inside of her body, Katara found her light touches were not enough; she needed more. But more of what she did not know.
“I, uh, I need . . . more!”
Finally, in an unconscious effort to relieve the burn ache inside, one of Katara’s had slipped down over her stomach and towards her center. As her fingers slipped through the moist folds of her vagina, and rubbed against the small nub that she found there, a streak of pure lightning shot straight through her. Gasping loudly, she rubbed her fingers over it again.
“More, Zuko, I – ah – I need more!”
The pressure was building fast now. She was getting closer she could feel it. Desperately, she rubbed harder, her breath coming faster. Moans fell freely from her lips as she struggled to find fulfillment and relief.
Suddenly a strong wave rocked her harder than she was expecting, causing her hand to slip. Two fingers found her warm opening and slipped inside. The sudden intrusion, startled her but as she started to withdraw her hand, her fingers rubbed against her inner walls. Shocked by the pleasure that erupted thru her veins caused her to gasp loudly.
Her gasp quickly changed from one of pleasure to one of panic as she was suddenly grabbed from below. Desperately she tried to fight back, but her assailant was stronger than she was. She quickly found her mouth gagged, her eyes covered, and her hands restrained as she was pinned back against the naked chest of a very strong and very aroused male.
Sorry for the cliff hanger, but the rest will be added soon - I had originally planned to have four chapters but changed my mind. Hope you enjoyed, and please leave a review.
